The supervisor Melissa was extremely helpful this morning. It was early after a long flight and the process was smooth. Shuttle directions were excellent from her and the staff showing us the car was great as well! Looking forward to using them next time we are in town.

Routes Car rental is a, truly, a scam through in through. The policy restricts you from booking a rental and you cant get a refund if you pre-book through a 3rd party under no circumstances, even if the issue is from their side. While other rental places are a money saver, this one is definitely not. You should reserve your peace of mind by going elsewhere. Representatives via the Phone/in-person are no help and will give you the run-around.

Warning if you did not fly into the airport and don’t have a round trip ticket, they will NOT take you which I think is ridiculous….like what if I just wanted to rent a car?? Do not waste your time here. The staff was not friendly or helpful at all. You will spend more money than anticipated and it’s worth just going to the airport and paying a little extra for the more reliable companies like thrifty, dollar, enterprise, etc.

Awesome low rates for really nice cars. Maybe be a little dirty but its not really a big deal. Nothing a wipe or two they could fix. Maybe a better clean up crew. Some customer service guys were rude but he was under stress, i could tell. Overall great service.

Terrible company. I booked through booking.com. It should have been clear and easily legible that a credit card was needed with their company to rent along with their deposit. (Many car rental companies these days are perfectly fine with a deposit on your debit card only, it is after all a deposit of cash, what more could you ask for). My family and I flew into Atlanta only to find out that the $350 I already paid meant nothing! I had the money for a deposit on my debit card, no problem! They could care less. They didn’t care I already paid $350, they didn’t care I just flew into Atlanta and had no other means of transportation. I travel a lot and this is the most un accommodating car rental company I’ve ever dealt with. It has been over a week and I still haven’t even received a response about getting my money back. Thank God Advantage car rental helped me out after going to many car rental counters being stuck to now rent last minute. They rented us a car last minute without costing an arm and a leg, and the lady at the Advantage desk was as sweet as can be. Don’t bother with Route, Advantage in Atlanta was awesome!

Our driver from this morning who dropped us off after we had to return our rental was absolutely wonderful ( Eric) my traveling friend, and I can not thank him enough .His driving was great ( I felt completely at ease, and safe)He was knowledgeable in the information he gave us to make sure we were able to get where he was going.He was the most pleasant person weve encountered during our trip to ATL.I will say our other driver whos name I did not get who picked us up to get our rental was excellent as well, and gave us a list of options of close places to go see, and try.I hope you value your driving staff as much as we do they are a tremendous asset to your team, and we thank them so very much !

People please don’t rent in this rent car, they stole my information and credit card and deducted 210.29 on 9/23/2021 while I’m in jersey I made business with them on 06/17/2021 so the held my card info and took money out of it. Thanks God I was able to identify the transaction was fraudulent. JUST DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!

Service with Routes in Atlanta was amazing, Mike the office manager was extremely kind and helpful, my flight landed at 12 midnight right when the office closes, so when I called he not only offer to wait for me 45 more minutes after midnight, but he was kind, helpful and understanding. I recommend this office not only because of his excellent service but also I got the best prices here. 100% recommended!

My honest answer at first it was a bit rocky judging from my experience. I had a small issue with the way the one front desk staff treated me at first.So I ask to speak with the manager Mr Mike who was very hospitable and polite with handling my situation.So because of him and some of the other stuff.Routes has Indeed provided an excellent service veryPrompt in delivering and picking up to and from the airport.Special thanks to the shuttle driver that transported me to and from the airport location.Special thanks to the nice lady from the islands that took over my reservation bookings and handled it well last but not least the manager Mr Mike 👍🥂🍾💥💥

The worst rental service I’ve booked through so far. The requirements are ridiculous and I feel are unnecessary. Why do I need a departing flight to rent a car? Why do I need to have an out of state license to rent a car? I went through Priceline to reserve and the requirements were not listed where I could see them. The representative at the rental company had to scroll all the way down the page and click another link just to read the terms and conditions. I would recommend renting through another company before dealing with this place. Horrible customer service! The representatives do not care at all. Spend your money somewhere else!

Rented from several companies and never had a bad experience or car that was not acceptable. 2020 forte that I would of sworn was a 2015 or older. Was made to feel as if i needed coverage from them when I clearly told them my credit card offers rental car coverage and i have full coverage on my personal vehicle which will cover rental cars. Um....yea the car had large scratches everywhere. The bumper was off track (raised like pressure or an accident occured). Pretty much I kept thinking to myself with all this visible damage, this car should of been put up for sale and no longer a rental and they will somehow try to charge me for the damage that was already there. I took video of the car before and after I returned it just to prevent any further issues. Best advice, do not ever rent out a vehicle like that to a client or provide the type of service I received. Your demeanor could of done wonders. Shuttle driver was cool and very professional/polite.

Do not waste your time with ROUTES. Very unprofessional company. Had bookings through third parties only to not be able to honor your reservation upon arrival. Lots of uncompromising stipulations. The workers are also rude and not very educated on any of the policies. 6 people were not able to get a rental with them within the hour we were there. They only rent to out of state renters which isn’t stated until you get in the airport shuttle to take you off site. Don’t waste your time.

Took my money in full 2weeks in advance for a trip. All for the day of my rental to deny me the service bcz I don’t own a MasterCard or a Credit Card of their liking to put the $350 THAT THEY HOLD, on. I have already paid and they want to give me extra stress. Then they are saying that they would refund me. Now they’re saying they don’t want to. And are not even offering the money already paid as credit towards another trip.

No phone customer service, only email weekdays with delayed reply. Signs in office require out-of-state license to rent here. Not at the airport rental center but stand alone office nearby, open Sundays. Weekends can have long line and wait time. Friendly, courteous service with nice fleet of cars. Low prices, especially for last minute rentals

Do NOT book with these people. They are not friendly and very UNhelpful. I had a Family Emergency and jumped on the next flight to Atl and booked the rental car at Routes and I get there ans they would NOT rent to me b/c I didn’t have a return flight that was booked 48 hours in advance. I couldn’t book a return flight b/c I don’t know what’s going to happen with my Dad… They would not make an exception nor would they let me book a ticket right then. They basically said not their problem and go somewhere else……So I ask if they would please call their shuttle to comeBack and AGAIN she said NO, it runs every 20 minutes.

After reading the reviews I was nervous about renting from here especially traveling with an infant. It was too late to cancel my reservation as there were no cars anywhere at the airport left to rent. I landed, had some difficulty finding where the shuttle was but found it and the shuttle was right there upon my arrival. I did call as soon as I landed to give them a heads up. I brought proof of insurance (they did not ask for this but do request your policy #). I had an out of state license and proof of a return flight. None of these things were mentioned when I booked online through a third party website so thankfully I read the reviews beforehand. Checking in was easy, no line. It took maybe 15 minutes. I dropped the car off a day early and the shuttle was right there again, took me right to my gate (rather than the shuttle pickup area which would have added to my time to get to security). Only giving 4 stars as I requested a midsize sedan and all they had left was a Dodge Caravan. No damages to the vehicle but the change oil light was on the whole time.

The service at the Atlanta Airport location is not good. Employees are very slow. If you are booking a car through a third party service like Expedia be aware. They have a “policy” that won’t allow you to rent unless you have an out of state drivers license and a round trip ticket. And the round trip ticket must be booked before the pick up but the employees can not decide how much before the pick up it needs to be booked. On top of the policy that is so fine print, the receptionist was rude and slow and offered no efforts to help the customers out, just asked us to leave. Also, the location is far from the airport so if you are traveling alone or at night, take this into account.

Car had tire inflation issues and then a blowout. Tried to fix the flat tire but there was no spare tire! Who rents a car without a spare.Called their costumer care phone and got no help. Then called the actual rental location and they said sorry youre on your own.Avoid at all cost. No customer service. No caring.If I could, I would give zero stars.

Gave me 3 different cars ....They cleaning stuff the use smells like urine the 2nd car they gave me engine light was on and the 3rd car a light came on in there as well.. i wont rent from them anymore and everyone that worked there was rude accept bayo Also I forgot to mention I took my rental back the next day because I just didnt feel comfortable being responsible for it and still paid for 3days and I rented from Avis the same day. Terrible, terrible service...big black guy with the bad bleached hair behind the desk was rude and had poor customer interaction. We watched him hassle with 2 customers before us and treated us the same as well. He obviously hates his life. PS...the shuttle driver was cool though.

Getting to Routes from the airport was a hassle. The shuttle driver, Eric was very nice and professional. The sales person was nice. Not a large selection, but the mini van was clean. Routes had better rates than the other agencies, would probably use again.

This location is NOT AT THE AIRPORT. The directions were NOT clear. When we arrived at the airport, we called the Routes customer service 10 times to request a shuttle. IMPOSSIBLE TO REACH ANYONE. After 45min waiting in the airport a shuttle arrived. The driver was super rude and looked annoyed that he had to pick us up. When we arrived at the Routes Car Rental location, which was 10min AWAY FROM THE AIRPORT it took another 20min to get the car. The place looked suspicious. The car we got filthy and windows dirty. BE AWARE, they don’t give you copies of the documents you sign.After returning the vehicle back, they did not inspect it nor provide any assistance. Also, when we asked for a shuttle back to the airport (which was included) they said that we need to wait an 1hr or 2hr. REALLY? We had a flight in an hour. UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNHELPFUL STAFF.I hope employees at the location get more customer service training. The worst rental experience and I would not recommend using this company!

The service here was terrible! I made my reservation for a car long before my flight landed and I had to wait over 2 1/2 hours just to tell me it was unavailable and to come back tomorrow. This is unacceptable! They don’t have a place for guest to sit or a canopy, the guest have to stand in the lot rain or shine with no overhead coverage. I will NOT be coming back here again.

I had a pleasant experience with routes. We landed in ATL took the airport tram to the car rental center and went to the 1st floor to wait for the routes shuttle. I wasn’t sure how often the shuttle runs so I gave them a call and the person I spoke with let me know the shuttle runs every 15-20 minutes. We waited for 10 minutes and arrived at routes within 5 minutes. I checked in with my drivers license and had proof of insurance ready but never had to show it. We got the car and were in and out within 20 minutes. Later in the day I noticed a bubble in the tire so I had planned to notify routes early the next day. Routes ended up calling me on the 2nd day to check in and see how my experience was. I let them know about the bubble and they had someone come to where I was staying. They upgraded me for the inconvenience and took care of the other car. I was concerned because of the negative reviews that the return would take a while so we arrived at routes early for our domestic flight. I was happily surprised that we returned the car and we’re back at the car rental center within 30 minutes. I had more than enough time to get to my gate. If it weren’t for the bubble in the original car’s tire I would have given 5 stars but this type of oversight is careless and a disregard to their customers safety.

After previously reserving a vehicle and waiting in a long line, two different employees said they will not rent vehicles to people who have a Georgia Drivers license. Newsflash: You are a business with a physical location in Georgia. Just discriminatory practices, plain and simple. On top of that, the lot was full of vehicles. Stay away from this car rental agency. This place was so unorganized and poorly managed. Atlanta International Airport facility. The cars were filthy and unsafe. The brakes on my car were downright scary. They had one person at the counter and about 20 people in line. When I asked for a manager he said he is busy. They had one trainee who had been on the job about 10 minutes. Ultimately we were there renting a car for 2 & 1/2 hours. It was a horrible experience. I WOULD GIVE THIS PLACE LESS THEN ONE STAR IF ITNWAS POSSIBLE.

This was the first time I rented from this company & was very pleased by the service I received from the two young ladies at the front desk. I booked from a third party company which was horrible & caused me to wait for 2hrs before I received my vehicle. This rental service seems like a good deal until you actually get to the airport. They added on extra charges at the time of pickup to make the whole point of renting from them being cheaper moot. The rental cars I was given were both not clean and had significant amounts of exterior damage. The reason I needed a second car was do to poor maintenance on the first car requiring an exchange to the second car. Also like some people have said they are not on the airport and you need to take a shuttle. That really isn’t a big deal just another wait. Overall I would say hard pass out of 5.

Reserved a car through Priceline. Shuttle arrived within 15 minutes for pick up and the driver was very helpful. However, DO NOT rent from this place if you have a Georgia ID. After showing my ID, I was told that they would not honor the reservation because they do not rent cars to individuals with GA IDs. The man at the desk was dissmissive. Had to wait for the shuttle to return to get back to the airport and completely wasted 1 hour of my time. There are plenty of rentals with more helpful staff at the airport.

HORRIBLE. It’s off-airport, and the shuttle never came after waiting for over an hour. Finally had to Uber over to the rental center only to find that they had closed at midnight and couldn’t help me till the morning. Completely disrupted my trip. Priceline had this as a rental option at the ATL airport but it definitely is not. The manager was very unsympathetic about the situation and said I was lying about the shuttle never coming.

There was a minor overcharge issue and he took care of it right away! Also, the shuttle driver and gentleman staff worker who actually processed my rental paperwork (Forgot Names) was amazing! I will definitely book through them again on my return to Atlanta.

The customer service was very rude and disrespectful and the van had dents, scratches on every panel the inside was very uncomfortable I have never ridden in a van that was this bad. I cant believe they let it leave the lot. The one nice thing I would have to say is the shuttle driver was amazing.

DO NOT RENT A CAR HERE. Not only is it off the airport (so after taking the train to baggage claim, another train to car rental station, you then have to take a shuttle to the place). Our flight was delayed and even though I called and confirmed I would still pick up my rental, they apparently “close” at midnight, despite their system saying they are open 24/7. All the other car rental companies were sold out. I called early the next morning and because I did not pick up my car, they cancelled my reservation and were “sold out” of vehicles. Everyone I spoke to could care less. The only upside was that I selected “pay at pick up” so I was never charged. Go with a known rental company like Avis or Hertz.

Routes Car Rental is not a top car rental company. I actually give ROUTES a ZERO RATING.The one star is for the workers that were very polite and very considerate (Eric, the shuttle driver was a great guy, and Bayo, you can only work with what your company gives you to work with). I went through Priceline, for the 1st time, because the company I normally use, Enterprise, was completely out of vehicles during this time. I had family Reunion that took place on July 7-11 in ATL, GA. The 1st vehicle ROUTES brought out was nicked and dinged all over and smelled awful. The 2nd one, steering wheel was grinding as if rubbing up against something and smelled like burnt rubber. The 3rd and last one was a Nissan Rogue and the Master warning light pop on. I parked it and just went with family. It was not a good experience. Horrible!!!

Don’t do it. I mean it was already a lil sketchy getting there. Staff was nice, however the moment I pulled off I noticed the tire pressure light was on. The PSI in one of tires was 16! It was 1145 at night so I had to stop in an unfamiliar town to get air. I have also never received a rental car with less than a quarter tank of gas. Needless to say this company is the pits. To add insult to injury they have been holding my 350 deposits since 03/12 when the car was returned. Just pay a few extra dollars and deal with a reputable company.

I made a reservation with Routes but was denied a car at the agency because I did not have a return flight from the Atlanta airport. Apparently you must be flying out of the airport to use this company. When I complained, they told me that I had been informed of this condition (which I then confirmed was not stipulated when I tried to book another rental through them). The most ridiculous policy Ive ever heard of.

It’s not located at the airport rental center! Expect rdiculously terrible customer service. The shuttle took 45 minutes to show up, and the desk clerk to check out the vehicle was slow and not helpful. Expect the total process, terminal to driving away to take at least 1.5hrs. The vehicle had half a tank of gas, a low tire pressure light on, and ran as if it hadn’t had any maintenance since they picked it up from presumably a more reputable rental company.I ended up dropping the car of the afternoon prior to it being due, and was surprised to have 2 emails the next day stating the vehicle was past due. The email was written in broken English/horrible grammar and was confusing. It took over an hour to finally reach someone at the ATL location and the individual I talked to was rude and unapologetic for their mistake. I would gladly pay more to rent through a more reputable company, steer clear!!

The entire staff was very accommodating from the gentleman who drove the shuttle bus from the airport, to the lady who checked me out at the gate. I’m so grateful Melissa handled my reservation professionally! I was traveling through Atlanta for business and needed a rental at last minute. Thank goodness for Bayou Brown & Mike Hanson. These two men were a lifesaver ! They understood my needs and got me all set up and out of there quickly. They took the precautions needed with the COViD-19 which was much appreciated. Very respectful & great customer service. Ok so I’ve been to ATL several times and rented cars from the airport. I was alarmed when I has to take a shuttle to their site. But let me tell you it was the best decision I’ve ever made. I went on a Saturday and the lines at the airport were terribly long. When I got to Routes no one was there and they were all extremely friendly. I will definitely be using them again.

Avoid this place like Covid. Rental assistance staff is rude and short. They make you put a $350 deposit, you have to wait 20 minutes for the shuttle to get there and you have to show them a return ticket to be able to get a car. None of which the state on the website only go here if there are no other options and the whole Atl airport

We landed in ATL from TX for my uncles funeral. We called and called...emailed and emailed to never have the shuttle service pick us or or even contact us back. We NEVER were able to get our rental car and due to the company’s lack of communication and customer service we were stuck getting an Uber to and from the funeral services. I hope that the employees at the location get more customer service training and learn empathy especially in the time of our families loss. We will not ever rent from this company again!

I had an awesome experience with Routes Car Rental. The customer service was superb from beginning to end, Tia made sure I was out and into my rental in no time. While processing my information we talked, laughed and she made me feel at home. The car was very clean, and the rates are affordable. This company is much more affordable than the major rental companies. It seems they a smaller company. I feel that in order to keep costs low they have certain policies in place. One is the major credit card, the other is that they are off-airport grounds (about a 7 minute shuttle ride)along with only renting to out of state travelers. The shuttle was prompt, clean and very comfortable. The drivers were very friendly and helpful. They loaded our bags into the back of the shuttle.  My mother is a bit unsteady on her feet the driver hurried to get a stepping stool so she could get into the shuttle easier.They are remodeling the building however they had a trailer on site to take good care of everyone. They had all the precautions in place for covid protection.  I felt like they were much more personable than the larger companies. I enjoyed the experience the car was immaculate and reliable. I felt like had I experienced any problem they would have been very quick to correct it. The check-in and return process was very quick and the shuttle was waiting for us to return us to the airport. I really cant say enough about the staff here. As long as you are aware of the policies you will have a wonderful rental experience. Like I said the cost difference was significant.The only upsetting experience was other patrons giving the staff a hard time with certain policies when everything was explained to us in detail. They need a major credit card not a debit card. The shuttle driver was very clear on this before we left the pickup location.I was extremely impressed with the professionalism of the staff in the face of some very rude and difficult people

Weve rented from routes before in other locations and have had great service but this place was ridiculously. We reserved an suv a month in advance and prepaid for the vehicle. When we arrived in Atlanta they made us wait over 4hrs to send a shuttle to pick us up from the airport. Then they told us the only car they had for us was a kia forte take it or leave it because they had 10 other people waiting on vehicles at the airport and this is how the car rental business is.the car looked as if it had been in a demolition derby with a busted front bumper and other dents and scratches all over.this place is a joke. They offered nothing in return i will be reporting to the BBB

Went through Booking.com who did not apply the car insurance I paid for on the reservation, so I had to pay again. The car was dirty and the attendant comment when I asked about it was its pollen. Huh? And? There is no reason the car should be dirty. The inside could have been cleaned as well, especially during this covid time. Just fake. They running around with mask and cleanliness is subpar. The gentleman at the counter was solid and the attention that rinsed the car.

This place is almost an absolute joke when it comes down to it. Staff was halfway decent. You could tell the people in the building servicing you were friendly because that was their job, and those washing the cars outside or moving them really had no manners nor regard that you were a Paying customer. However, the thing Im leaving a one star review about is the fact that they charged me double the cost of what I paid/what I was told I was going to pay/what I was quoted. They did NOT send me a receipt/conformation email. Nor did they give me a hard copy because their printer was broke even though I had just seen someone print off of it... Overall, real bad experience. I hope you guys dont rip customers off like that often or ever again. For shame. Never coming back here again. Stick to the big companies guys, these guys are bafoons!

I specifically reserved a mini vin through Expedia. For our family trip. I was clear I needed 7 seats. I gave them our flight info and pick up time. They knew when we were coming and when we got there did NOT have a rental that sat 7 people. What’s the point of reserving a car if the car rental doesn’t honor why you originally pay for. Won’t use them again.

The site does not make it clear that YOU CANNOT RENT IF YOU ARE A LOCAL PERSON FROM ATLANTA OR EVEN GEORGIA FOR THAT MATTER!I booked and paid for a car for 2 days at $470. When I went to collect my rental car they told me they don’t rent to locals and if have to go to the airport to SEE if they have a car for me to rent.So what about my money? She tells me I have to call whoever I booked through and try to get a refund and that “y’all people need to read the fine print”.No! How about you all make it explicitly clear that your rental service is ONLY for those coming into Atlanta off of a flight!Now I have to try and figure out how to get my money back...

Super helpful and friendly. Vehicle was clean. Check in/out was easy. Make sure you come prepared with your car rental insurance policy (we went to allianz.com) The shuttle was very quick. Max 15 minutes from the airport. Picked us up in 5 minutes. Make sure you call on the escalator on your way out of the airport to let them know to send the shuttle.

Everything seemed great when I picked up the car and returned the car the price was reasonable after returning the car leaving Atlanta and getting home from my trip With the car rental being paid for already routes decided to randomly charge my credit card again For no reason at all just paid double for absolutely nothing and trying to get a hold of somebody on the phone is impossible I keep getting directed to go online They need to be criminally punished for this Its fraud and I feel completely violated.

I had a great experience with Routes. I had never heard of them but they had a great price so gave them a try and Im so glad I did. Their customer service was great; from the shuttle driver to the check in and turn in. Everything went quickly and everyone was very friendly.
