I want to return an item at Kays and was told I could not because it was more than 30 days. I did not look at my receipt I just looked online for their policy to make sure I was within the time frame and I was per this policy listed. When I went the store they told me I would not return it so I called corporate which I spoke to multiple customers service rep who refused to allow me to speak to a supervisor…… moral of the story they don’t follow their own policy and Accommodate the customer when they make mistakes. I’ve been a customer for over several years but not anymore.P.S if you want to speak to a supervisor report them to the BBB.
The customer service at this location is impeccable. Staff takes their time with you and help make a decision that best for your budget.... I purchased a mothers ring and it was perfect... Also Joy Felton made sure that my purchase was satisfactory and went above and beyond to make sure we stay repeat customers... I recommend this establishment for anyone looking for a jeweler in Cleveland Ohio and surrounding areas.
Great customer service. The person who helped me was very nice, did a great job, and super quick.

I just had a really nice experience here. Even though I dread coming to the steelyard it was pretty Nice and there the ladies working in there were so helpful and so polite I just wanna go back and buy more I totally recommend going in there to buy jewelry They had everything I wanted and more.
Get your jewelry from Kay jewelry
The two promise rings I got were really beautiful. But the issues were that they promised me that Id get the rings before 2 weeks, and I got them almost 3 weeks after I ordered them. The ring the was supposed to be there first came in last. They also told me that they would call me when they were ready. I had to call them, they didnt tell me anything. And then when I got the rings the lady gave me them by hand, not in the box. And I found out the reason why she did that later on. She gave me an earring box for my ring! How am I supposed to put my rings in an earring box? Im never going back to that Kays again. And they had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to sign up for a credit card. The only reason Im giving them two stars is because the rings were beautiful.
The staff in the Steelyard are such a lovely group of people. Every trip in there is a happy experience. I bought Jack (St. Jude Bear) from there only because the manager is such a sweet heart.
Beautiful selection
Every encounter I’ve had in this store is so amazing. The customer service is absolutely one of a kind. I appreciate them very much :)
They are so friendly
Great deals and excellent customer service. Go see Dee and Grace. Theyll get you together
My boyfriend bought a very beautiful promise ring from this location and the customer service was awesome. Went back 3 months later to get earrings and experience the same pleasant service, even when we went back for cleanings. Very clean and organized store!!
I have an awesome experience at Kay jewelers.
This Kay location is my husbands go-to, he has been back multiple times to add Beads to my charmed wonders bracelet and recently purchased a ring for our anniversary. I took my ring in to be sized and was in and out within 10 minutes, and my ring was done in less than one weeks time. Great store.
They dont really have too much of a variety of things in their store the store at Great Northern Mall is the best Kay Jewelers that I have been in thats the one I always try to go to I only go to Steelyard to pay my bill the best Kay Jewelers is at Great Northern Mall
I recently purchased a wedding ring upgrade at the Kay at Steelyard Commons, but decided to take the ring back five days after purchase. I was told by the store manager that my balance was back to zero (I had been a customer with Kay for years). Two months later, I get a collection call on behalf of Comenity Bank, which does the financing for Kay Jewelers, and was told I had a past due balance of 104 dollars. After a very angry phone call with Kay over the phone, I went to the store in person to find out what happened. Turns out, there was a 33 dollar finance fee that was secretly put on my account without my knowledge; again, I had been told that there was no down payment, and that upon returning my ring my balance was zero. And on top of the fee, which no one made me aware of, I was hit with late fees as well. The store manager blamed the bank for not telling HER about the finance fee -- which, by the way, is a completely ludicrous concept anyway: What do you think INTEREST is for, stupid??? -- and that she had no idea I was ever charged. So basically the store managers (her name is Joy) excuse was basically, Im an incompetent idiot. How does one sell a product, yet not educate the buyer of the terms and conditions? Outrageous.I also dont believe her excuse for a second. You mean to tell me ever since this bank has taken over loans for Kay Jewelers -- about 2 and half years ago -- youve been selling jewelry under false pretenses, not even knowing you are exposing your customers to hidden fees, which also turn into late fees? And the bank itself is so shady for what they did: Never sent me a bill, email, or even bothered to call to let me know I was incurring late fees or even let me know that I HAD ANY BUSINESS WITH THEM. Im thinking my account is closed & my balance is zero, remember.Comenity Bank is a scam, who make money off of deceptive practices and late fees. By extension, Kay is complicit, and I am still bewildered by their deceptive, malicious business practices. Of course she knew about the finance fee -- she just wanted the sale, shed say anything. This woman is Trump-lite, perhaps she should run for office. The workers of Kay at Steelyard Commons are amoral, and frankly, criminal. Stay away at all cost.I should also note: The initial ring I picked out was later found to be of very poor quality after independent investigation, and thats why I returned it. Kay is the McDonalds of jewelry stores, and while the people who work at Steelyard are deplorable, I wouldnt recommend Kay anyway.
This Kays jewlers is absolutely terriable! They are very racist and rude. They never greeted me. I walked in with a smile on my face. I stood in line patiently waiting because my boyfriend bought a nose ring for me and it had to be sent out to get twisted. Once I was finally helped after I stood there and listened to there conversation about lunch and what they made for diner. I showed the lady the receipt she was very rude saying they sent nothing out if they did it would be a yellow receipt. It was also in my boyfriends name. So he had givin me the wrong receipt. We went to pick it up today and the lady told my boyfriend I was up there trying to get it she acted like I was trying to do something wrong or behind his back. They are so rude mad because I am a white female with a black man and the employees are black. The whole situation was unprofessional and rude WE WILL NEVER BE BACK!! I would give negative stars if I could!
