This place was already going down hill over the past few years. The pandemic just made it worse. We were told to seat ourselves, which was fine, I didnt have a problem with that. The problem came in where there was no CLEAN places to sit. I understand everyone is UNDER staffed at this point but dont tell your customers to seat yourself when 1. Theres no CLEAN places to sit and 2. You have sections blocked off with no signs. We had to find a new place to sit twice. The pot roast and vegetables were burnt. It wasnt many food selections. The spaghetti noodles were all stuck together. Im not expecting this place to be 5 stars but for almost $15 per person I at least expect my spaghetti noodles to not be stuck together. Hopefully it gets better. The only highlight I had was experimenting with the food and trying the honey dipped chicken with the steak. Which was absolutely delicious! Other than that....1 star it is

The place has gotten so much better since the pandemic began in my opinion. Family friendly and always great food for the entire family. We personally go on special occasions and make the money worth it for sure. Staff are nice and fast service.

If I could give it a zero, I would!! This place has legit gone from amazing to horrific!! The service is awful, the food is worse! 🤦‍♀️ We paid, found a table that was halfway cleaned off and I grabbed a rag and cleaned the rest of it off so we could eat there. We sat 45 minutes eating before anyone came and took a plate. Not one did we get our drinks refilled! I had to go find napkins because ours were empty. They werent even busy for once!!! There were workers sitting in a booth right near us!! Why are they are the only buffet restaurant around? NEVER AGAIN!

Plenty of food to choose from, from salads to entrees to desserts. Food was being replenished regularly while I was there. Everything I sampled tasted good. Waitress returned regularly to refill our drinks. I will return.

The place was dirty to the brim, with such limited seating that was half clean that it is hard to find a spot. Most of the buffet meals were not there or you had to wait 13 minutes for them to cook it. There was very little staff maintaining the tables. The ice cream was frozen with only the chocolate working. The desert bar was maintained the best of all, and was above decent. But otherwise, the rest of the buffet was not well served.

When we went before we received our senior discounts. This time they claimed, they dont give senior discounts okay...whatever....we paid over $30 to get a nasty napkin dispenser at our table (see photos). The plates were filthy...I picked up one and it felt like there was dried food on it....looked at it and there was. The plate directly underneath it had ketchup on it like someone took it from a table and placed it on top of the other plates.The chicken is not seasoned and had too much resistance when trying to pull it off the bone. The sweet potato souffle tasted like they baked a sweet potato and then threw marshmallows on top....instead of going on and on I will tell you what was good...the juice that the roast was sitting in. The dinner rolls. The water we had to drink. We will never eat there again. It used to be good food and good people....now its neither....

It was not clean. Napkins on the floor. Staff kept stepping over the Napkins. I told young lady working the meat area, she told me they are short? The salad bar had nothing at one point. I went and cleaned up the area where the several Napkins were on the floor that were used by kicking the Napkins under the booth. The place was not clean

Dirty food nasty steak, not clean tables and restroom. I will never come back, people work here ignore you when you need service.Poor quality

It was early in the afternoon and we had reserved an area for reunion and it was not very clean. The windows werent clean, the tables were out of place and they had brooms and dust pans full of trash under our tables. They should go over safety procedure with employees, otherwise, Donna and kiara were very hospitable to our reunion guests.

I am only giving them 5 stars because of the Manager Matt. Our waiter pretty much forgot about us and it was my wifes birthday meal. We waited so long for her drink, and her stake, that it was time for us to leave. But when I explained to the manager, he said that he was so sorry and that he gave us a container so my wife can take her steak home with he. Thanks Matt. You are a great manager, and yes I seen you back there working very hard and cooking the steaks and other duties.

This was by far, the worst experience Ive ever had at a restaurant. Went up to the buffet to get my food and decided to get soup. The utensils you get at the beginning do not contain a spoon. I saw a manager at the buffet line and asked where I could find a spoon. He immediately backed away from me with his hands up in a defensive stance and started with the maam please back up . I then calmly and politely said, Im only asking for a spoon. Instead of pointing me in the right direction, he proceeded to yell maam back away. That was my cue to walk away/ around him to my table to not engage with him to contribute to the scene he wanted to cause. At this point, my appetite is gone and I wanted to eat what I could with the utensils provided. While doing so, I witnessed another supervisor swing the doors of the private room open and berate three young black women employees who seemed to be taking a break. At this point Im furious and based on my experience with the manager I knew he probably condoned the behavior and decided to contact corporate executives. I definitely felt this behavior was racially motivated and could not enjoy my food. I will NEVER give my money to a corporation or business that feel they can treat their customers and employees this way. Golden Corral definitely lost my family and friends business.

$32 for my daughter and I to have lunch. The salad is literally just lettuce. The hot food section looks about the same. $32. What a dump and a huge waste of money.

Our experience this time was better than usual. Past experiences should get 1 star. Entrance doors are always filthy as well as the restrooms. The lady that usually works the counter seems to hate her job and makes every guest feel unwelcomed and bad for entering. She also talks reckless about other employees in front of guests. However Id give todays visit 3 stars. The food was ok. There are two staff members worth highlighting in this review; that is Nico and Britney. Two thumbs up to you Nico for the immediate greeting upon entrance, customer service and good sense of humor. Our server for the evening was Brittney. Who was on her A game today. She was great to my wife and children which is all I ever care about. I will return with my family as long as Im hosted by these two employees of the year....

Some of the food was good. Not nearly the high quality weve come to expect at our favorite location. Freshness and attention to detail in cleanliness and xoolingwould go a long way. I hope corporate and local/regional managers will find ways to collaborate and bring up the standard a bit.

The Buffet is nice but kids are running wild picking over the food.

Huge variety of food options - the fried fish was really good, others said this was the best fried chicken in the city. We had a very large group and they were accommodating and the staff was great! They made sure plates were cleared and that there was plenty of water and tea for us. They did a great job!

Another restaurant ruined by the fact it is located in Cleveland. Yet another understaffed over-worked establishment with a do not care about the customer attitude. The cashier argued over a miscommunication about what drinks were ordered. Then the server was also bussing tables. This meant they were overburdened n could not give their full attention. I was on my second plate, before the drinks arrived. I am more saddened by the attitude and lack of motivation to help the customer. The food was amazing and was the only saving grace for this place.

The manager was sweeping the same three areas the hour I was there. His stomach was so big he couldnt keep his shirt button with his t-shirt with black writing that is how far up the buttons were loose on his shirt and his stomach hanging over his belt and his to little tie. I called that manager three times and he act like he couldnt here me and went into the back. The food was ok, corn on the cobb was dried out and I had to ask them to replace it, it looked like it had been out all day and I was there approximately 3:30 but they did change it.

The staff work so hard and do an excellent job. The food is delicious. Unfortunately the patrons dont behave and dont mind their children ruining it for everybody. While there i witnessed 2 children unattended take handfuls of strawberries and then the watermelon and then proceeded to throw them back into the serving dish. I witnessed another child stick her tongue into the chocolate fountain and then take the ice cream cone she was holding and smashed it down to the countertop. I want to enjoy this place but I told my husband we will never return

I am giving it a 3 star no for the quality of the food. The food was good. BUT... The issue was some areas of the restaurant looked like they have not been swept or vacuumed in a while. The vents on the ceiling were filthy, and many areas of the ceiling had bround stains, needs some maintenance, it was not a pretty sight. During our visit, someone in the kitchen staff kept slamming trays, doors/ drawers as he came to put more food out or take something away. It was loud enough to be irritating, if other people didnt say anything about this, Im shocked. And at no point anyone else in the staff or the manager did anything about it. We asked to see the manager before leaving, my friend had taken pics of and showed him and i pointed at the filthy air vents. He just kept saying we gonna take care of that, we are working on making things better blah blah blah. We told him if you are working on thing then those vents should not be looking that dirty, neither should the other areas we pointed out. Cant remember the Managers name but Golden Coral in Brook ParkSome areas need some cleaning and repairs. The manager, nothing about him indicated Management material. 🤷

I gave it three stars only because the server was good, the steak was okay, the salad bar was okay but some of the veggies were actually cold. Desserts were just okay too, the soft serve ice cream was more like ice chocolate water. I ate $13 worth of food and was full, but nothing was exceptional. The service again, was three star.

Absolutely disgusting, extremely dirty. Server didnt come back for refills once. Rarely cleaned our table off. Food was extremely trashed an most things looked inedible. Pretty bummed out. Use to be a decent place to eat. Not any more. Will not recommend and will never return

Great for Food To Go or Dine in. You can save yourself $2.50 (If you just have water instead of Soda or Fountain Drink) and use that money to Tip.

Very dirty. Not clean. Sticky tables. Kids running around. It was like romper room. Loud. Employees looked like they were just passing time. No care. Food sloped in the bins. On a good note our server was awesome he actually acted like he cared!

The location is good & its clean inside. The staff are very kind & helpful. They have so many options to choose from - if you feel like breakfast, theres eggs, shredded hashbrowns, bacon, sausage, French toast, pancakes, grits, fruit etc. & lunch items - steak, pork chops, french fries, fish, salad bar, pot roast, mashed potatoes, fried okra, collard greens etc. Drinks they have pop, juice, water & small cartons of milk byb their cereal. You have a variety of dessert choices including a chocolate fountain! I highly recommend this buffet

Golden Corral is one of my favorite franchises, but this location was just a nightmare. There wasn’t a great variety of items, the food was cold, and the place felt dirty. My friend ordered a medium steak and received a well done. I ordered a medium rare and received a rare steak with a frozen center. All the chicken was either dry or undercooked. The salad bar was pretty much just lettuce and a few toppings, and the ice cream felt old/expired. The server was nice, but she always dropped food when she took the plates and left it there. I cannot believe I paid $18 for this.I usually only do reviews when I have something positive to say about the location, but this time I had to do it to warn you. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had at a Golden Corral. Avoid this location like the plague.

There always super nice here and I love going. When I was a kid my mom and dad would take my brother and I on Sundays after church. Not this location of course. Anyways foods always amazing,people are really nice and its clean. Plus there following COVID19 protocols. 🤎

My grandson picked this restaurant he loves the fact he picks what he wants. We always have great service, but Im never sure what to tip, so if youre in a hurry and dont know what to eat all you can eat will fill you up

Great food buffet all you can eat. No take home containers allowed. Must eat everything there. The price for 2 of us came to $38.00, we ate our fill. The waitresses live on tips so tip them well.

Customer service was horrible ! If I could give zero stars I would ! Very rude staff ! Our server was worthless when it came to drinks and clearing our table she looked many times and walked away I tried to get her attention she looked at me and walked away. Food/dessert was a mess nothing was clean not even the napkin holder on the table very disappointed I do not know why they opened back up.

Went to location. The man who was cutting the vegetables was using machine that making loud noises the whole time why there. You need to ask the writer for steak that had so much fat on it. Food was ok not that hot.

Finally got back to Golden Corral. The food was better than I remembered. The staff was hard working to keep up with the food and clean up. Places was clean top to bottom. Glad I am back 😊

Horrible! The ice cream was practically melted when it came out. My boyfriends spaghetti was gross the noodles werent cooked. Multiple food in the trays where obviously sitting out for a long time. I also got to muffins from the dessert area cut them open in the middle was very uncooked.The service:The waitress asked us if we want steak, we said no and we didnt see her again till we where almost about to leave and she asked if we wanted refills, we said yes and never got them. The place was dirty and gross. Never going back.

Have been here several times over the years and it always ends up a disappointment. I’ve given it multiple chances with the hope things would improve over time. No issues with the service and staff, it’s all legitimately on the food and the quality. Reminds me of cafeteria food served in elementary and middle school 20 years ago. Not as much variety as would be expected with other buffet options. Makes me long for the days of when Ryan’s and Ponderosa were still around with their buffet options.

I brought my wife here for our 1 year anniversary because the last time I ate there it was pretty good, Well to my surprise, it was very very disappointing. Over half of the food was cold or way over cooked and cold. We barely ate anything and then we figured that at least the ice cream would be good... That was very sad too, the ice cream barley came out of the machine and then when it did it looked like it was very watered down and was almost like a milkshake. That was the worst experience we had in a long time. Please save your money, I waisted $40 there so just learn from our mistake.!!!!

Went with my family and the kids had a blast. The space was clean and the staff was friendly. The steak was great and the wevate our fills. I would say that a little bit more attention to the food should be kept in mind, as I found moldy fruit being served to the public.

The absolute worst buffet/food Ive had ever. It was depressing. Overcooked meat. Gross, unsanitary environment. At least I made it out alive. Please (if you have any standards) do not come here to eat.

As we come through the door I noticed napkins and other debris on the floorAnd to make matters worse the counter was wet from drink spillage (and no one was in the line but my mother and myself). The lady at the counter asked us what drinks we wanted and the glasses didnt look clean 😖 so when we got to the register I decided not to eat there.

During this visit to the Brookpark Rd. Golden Corral, I found the food fresh and delicious. It also did not hurt that it was happy hour. I created a spinach salad, and had meatloaf and turnip greens, (pictured) I was also with family, so that made the meal even better. The service was also nice. I recommend this location if you want a nice bite to eat... and maybe another one afterwards!

The last two times we been there, the place was dirty, no cleans tables. The restroom was nasty, broken, no napkins no soap to wash hands. This place need a urgent renovations. Food is hot and ok to eat but need a lot of work.

Lois, our server, was so cheerful, helpful and attentive. Other than that it was a pretty typical Golden Corral experience. Great selection, pretty good food, decent price.

We havent been to Golden corral in years. But this is now the only one open in Cleveland. When I tell you this place was Very nasty it really was! Lets start from when we walked in seeing that the cashier was playing in his hair. Tables chairs, plates, cups napkin holders walls with food on it sticky tables, and chairs I could say so much more........ but we wont be back

Awesome variety of good food; but, they overcook all the steak so badly you honestly cannot even chew it. So, I wait a few weeks and go back...try steak again...god..steak still tough as nails...lol. .I still go regularly because everything else is GREAT. Loaded salads awesome...meatloaf awesome....beans or mac n cheese awesome...desserts awesome...

Just say no! It reminded me of the buffet scene in the movie national Lampoons Vegas vacation. Just awful. The patrons there reminded me of the worst of Walmart shoppers... One woman brought her two dogs and had them under the table feeding them.

. We didnt even get our fork and knife at check out . the food could have been cook more. Some of the staff were rude yell at my Grandmother for not wearing a mask that she forgot by accident. And they didnt yell at anyone else had no mask on . And ALL THE STAFF NEED TO BE RETRAIN . And they also need to be more nicer to the costumer but will Definitely not be comeing back here

Fortunately we had one of the nicest waitresses you could ask for, and the other employees were nice..... The food was good...but This is the dirtiest restaurant I have ever been to maybe in my life.... The bathrooms were gross filthy and disgusting.... The floors were filthy and disgusting it actually smelled rancid the door is going into the restaurant were beyond filthy... I cant even believe it Im shocked and disgusted. Please if someone reads this clean your restaurant!!!.... How embarrassing for you guys.

The food they had was OK... Not many options though! Floors were dirty, bathrooms were wide open which was weird but they were clean ish. Waitress only came over once on her own and had to ask for refills... Also we have been in the bathroom since we got home....

They are closed on Thursday of all days it said you were open so we wasted our gas driving there. Just hire more employees if your understaffed, this isnt rocket science.

The food was so sub par, too many to mention. The fish, chicken and mashed potatoes were the only tasty foods. I asked for medium rare steak. I was served well done. When I mentioned to the waitress, she said l told him, this is what he sent. He has been getting it wrong all day, he being the man cooking the steaks. She would not get me another one cooked correctly. Half the time the waitress was friendly the other scowling, slapping food drinks on the table.

The cashier didnt greet us. No one seemed to be friendly. Even our waitress was not so hospitable. Once we were seated, looking around the place look dirty. The food was okay. The food was over cooked, lack of salad toppings, steak had no seasoning and your servicer is the one to cook it, lack of fountain drinks at the cash register, had to wait for staff to bring it to my table.

Out of control. 75% of the tables were not cleaned off. There were many people standing around waiting for a table to be cleaned. Much food was not refilled. This place shouldnt be open, or at the very least really not worth the money

They closed the Macedonia restaurant and I will not go back to the one on Brookpark. I had to tell them to change the food. There was literally raw cabbage on the table, greens that looked like they just come out of freezer and meats that looked leftover at best.

Maybe because it is the middle of the week, but the food was excellent. Everything was hot and fresh. The best for me by far was the fried fish! The salad bars great. They have steak melt in your mouth. Dessert of all kinds. If you leave hungry. Theres something wrong.

Food was absolutely horrendous, we got there just as dinner started and there is no reason for the food to look and taste like it has been reheated several days in a row...staff was loud and vulgar in the cash register area during what appeared to be shift change. The only positive during this visit was the server in our area who was very professional and attentive (area by salad bar)

Dirty restaurant. Warmed up leftover food. All food was cold. Salad was good. Server was nice and she cared. Too bad the managers/owners dont care. Overpriced for the quality of the good. Seniors only receive a $.30 (cent) discount. Kids running everywhere even though signs posted that kids 10 & under must have an adult with them. Right! Went to get a nice cream cone after dinner but had to wait for these 5 or 6 kids (under 10 yrs old) to fill and dump out cones excessively. No parents around. Told the server but nothing she could (or would do).

Not overly impressed with this one. A lot of the food looked like it had been sitting in the containers for hours. The restroom was dirty and needed some serious attention.

I always love coming here with my daughter. She likes the clam chowder and fried chicken. For me, salad, steak, and those rolls! Ugh so good. Also the banana pudding is delicious!

Worst food ever. We were told that two bus loads of people had just left but in that case the food should have all been hot and fresh. IT WAS NOT. Food looked like it had been setting for a long time. Shouldnt staff be taught to stir up foods and maybe add a little water? Shouldnt there be managers or a manager to guide the kitchen? My boyfriend was so excited to eat here since ours closed down in Elyria. All the food was mediocre, it was dry and flavorless. My boyfriend and I barely ate anything. The dessert was the best thing ever.

Everything seemed a little grimey and sticky but i saw all staff cleaning! Everyone wore masks. Calm and patient wait staff but the cashier was stressed. Hiring, needs help.
