We are happy with the techs that have come out to service our system but the factory leaves much to be desired. Our A/C has been broke again for the last 2 weeks. In total we have had no A/C on and off for about 2+ months this summer. And since this is a brand new system (installed in January) we shouldn’t be having these issues. Instead of replacing the whole system the factory is having them piece it together with new parts! This is absolutely ridiculous and we are totally fed up with this Daikin system. If they wanted to do that then they should have had the parts on hand!! Instead we have to wait in the hottest time of the year. As far as I am concerned the owner should be stepping up and getting this resolved ASAP!

AC went out with a week old newborn in summer. I called another company and the soonest they could come out was Friday (AC went out on a Sunday). I called Hiwassee Chase very late in the evening on Monday and they came out and fixed the issue the very next morning. I’m very appreciative of their quick response in helping us out. Great value for service given.

The air went out on my parents home on Sunday. I called and Tommy came out Sunday afternoon and got it repaired and working and the service call was extremely reasonable. On Monday I came home from work and the air was not working at my home. I called and Tommy came out and replaced the fan motor. He left just before 10 pm. Again, the price was very reasonable especially considering it was an after hours call. I couldn’t be happier with the great service.

I have had an ongoing issue with the condensate drain line in my AC unit. Multiple technicians have commented on it when they serviced my unit but no one ever offered or suggested to fix it. Today Tommy came out and immediately said that the drain needed to be replaced and so he did! He was courteous and efficient and fixed the issue instead of commenting on it but not solving the problem. Thanks Tommy!
Hiwassee Chase Air Systems came out to fix our AC unit on a recent, hot summer day. They were timely on coming out for the service call.The technician was polite, pleasant and he was very easy to work with. The tricky problem came from the installation of the unit - and the tech was more than thorough and did not give up until he got it right.We were very happy with the service, and would contact Hiwassee Chase Air Systems again, as well as recommend them to others.

Services received on 09/06/2019 were questionable from the start. I scheduled Maintenance Service for my Rental property. First I was told the Running Capacitor was bad; and I would be charged an extra $35.00 to check the unit; plus the cost of installing a new Capacitor. I received a call from technician informing me that the Freon was low; and needed charging. He then claimed the Coil had a leak. He asked me for my permission to recharge the Unit. I asked him to wait until I arrived at the location; before doing anything. I asked him to show me where the leak was; and the Technician informed me that there would be another charge for that. Before I could assess the additional charges; he dashed over to the unit to check the unit for leaks. He told me that I should get a brand-new HVAC system installed; rather than make any repairs. He replaced the Running Capacitor. He kept asking me if I wanted him to remove the Running Capacitor. He said the unit was depleted of Freon; and it needed recharging. I finally instructed him to remove it.This Technician was rushing me through this at frantic pace; and not concerned about making any repairs; because his primary objective was to get me to purchase a brand new HVAC system! He gave me an over-priced quote of $5700.00 for a basic 14 Seer system 2 ton system.There were too many conflicting stories regarding this service call. First I was told the Running Capacitor was bad; and I was able to verify that because I saw the old unit.I was then told the freon was depleted; and it needed freon charged to the unit. Why would anyone want to recharge a system with a leaking coil.I was charged an additional $99.00 for this service call. Thats additional to the services *$99.00 already prepaid.Basically nothing was accomplished during this visit.I called another company; and had a new HVAC system installed.The old system was removed; and a significantly large amount of freon was discharged from the old unit; clearly indicating that there was no evidence of a depletion of freon.Too many conflicting issues regarding the accuracy some of the needed repairs.I do not trust the services of this company.I will no longer be using the services of Carter Heating-Hiwassee Chase for my HVAC systems.
Hiwassee Chase Air has always been great on the service work, the timing and completion of work as needed. Actually, they usually arrive on time or earlier than scheduled, but have always called and asked if that was ok for them to be early. Work has been what was needed and clean up was great too. Techs are very pleasant and informative. I would recommend them to others!
I dont know who it who came from there but they came and charged my mom three hundred bucks and didnt do nothing and then told her it cost $2,000 to fix her air unit and I came and looked at it and there was nothing wrong with it I called somebody to come charge it and now it worked perfectly fine so appreciate it Hiwassee
On the 4th of July my family and I noticed the temperature, and humility go up significantly in our house about half way through the day. I had HC out the week before for one of the 2 annual services, but the weather was getting bad, and the citys warning siren was going off, so I dont blame the guy for missing a potential, and obscure issue. Well that issue showed its ugly face on the 4th. Tommy from HC called me right back, and got some background, and was at my house within an hour. The gas was a little low, but it didnt seem like it would have cause that. By the time Tommy got to our house, the compressor kicked back on, and was working. He topped the gas off, and could of went back to his Holiday, but instead did a complete diagnostic on my system, and found what probably caused the compressor to temporarily shut down. He told me what the problem was, and that it was on verge burning out completely. It would have been no fun coming home from work to a 100 degree house. Ive been dealing with this company for almost 15 years, and they have always taken great care of my heat pump, and my family. I would recommend them to anyone anytime.
Great product and very fast to respond. Our unit quit working on a Thursday and by Monday our new unit was being installed.
