This company fixed our rental property AC issues. We are fully satisfied with the service and communication between them and us. They got over quickly and repairs where done fast and well. With calls all along the way to keep us updated on the service done. The technician and office staff I spoke to was also very friendly. We plan to use them again for any future service.

I have been an employee of Cyngier since August of 2018. When I started here I didnt know anything about the HVAC business. Roseann hired me anyway and gave me a chance to learn everything I need to know to do my job. She is an amazing woman and I owe her everything for what she has done for me in the last 6 months that I have been employed by her. I love my job and the people I work with. The technicians know what they are doing and they get the job done in a very timely matter. They are very prompt and are always on time. I have recommended several people to Cyngier and they have been very satisfied with the service. I highly recommend Cyngier Heating and Air Conditioning to anyone that needs any HVAC services.
The owners are individuals who have been in business for a long time. They never think they do anything wrong. During my installation, Cyngier failed at being honest. YOU will be able to visually see more and or read about the debacle in due time. Upon the initial install of my heat pump, an Energy Efficiency expert and I gave specs for a 3-ton Greenspeed Carrier heat pump unit. During the install date, unbeknownst to me, the owner Pete Cyngier was about to set up a 4-ton heat pump. Not what I requested. By chance, Energy Smart Home Performance expert Nate Adams decided to stop by. He immediately noticed the error of the unit sizing and put a stop to it. A verbal fight ensued, with PETE raising his voice in my house because he was MIFFED at his failure to communicate. He and his wife Roseann never apologized for NOT applying our specs, going underneath the radar of the homeowner, and wasting everyones time. (Id like to thank Nate Adams, who saved us an even bigger debacle if this company had installed the 4-ton, i.e., more time lost, wasted phone and letter exchanges, and maybe legal issues. )Days later, they corrected the problem with the proper 3-ton unit. However, I question how they installed it. (*)As a logical and forgiving human, I want to give people the BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT. I remained with them to be my technicians and service team, only to have that BACKFIRE on me a few years later. (*)N7 productions will continue the story, but my advice is to find a different company.
I’ve been with Cyngier since 2003 and I can’t say enough good things about their company! The Cyngier family is hands on and they are always available; whether for an appointment during the day or an emergency in the middle of the night. They have replaced my furnace & hot water heater, in addition to rebuilding my AC. They also keep the furnace at my rental property running smoothly, saving me $$$, even though they didn’t install it. Their workmanship and problem solving skills are impeccable! They value their customers and send out coupons throughout the year to save them additional money!What puts the Cyngier family over the edge for me is their spirit of public service. Every year the whole family engages in some kind of help to those less fortunate. That says a lot to me about the character of the family and the company that bears their name.
Roseann was very knowledgeable and helpful with selecting the appropriate furnace. The appointment was set up in a few days, and was installed quickly by her crew. They were easy to work with and did a great job.
Called Cyngier Heating & Air Conditioning when A/C wasnt cooling and ended up with a bill for $411.50 to change the capacitor that took less than 30 minutes and cost around $23.55 to buy. I expected to pay extra for a Saturday service call($106) but to pay an additional $305 for the work described what a disaster. Whats the price break down for the service: $300/hr and 500% markup for parts? As a mom in a pinch I WONT be calling Cyngier Heating & Air Conditioning again and will be sure NOT to recommend.
Installed a hot water heater. Was willing to work with our schedule, installation tech was professional, and the new heater has worked great ever since.
I’ve lived at my current location for two years and I have a system installed by Cyngier. The heating and cooling runs like its supposed to and there have been had no problems.
I hired Cyngier to do a seasonal cleaning and check up. Within one week the furnace malfunctioned. Instead of making it right, the person who answered the phone said no one was available to stop out, and went so far as to suggest I hire someone else if I needed immediate service.I did hire another company, and thats when I found out that the technician, Dave, had not cleaned the flame sensor which is a normal part of a seasonal check up. The representative of the new company said it was common for lazy technicians to skip this because it can be tricky to re-assemble this furnace. Of course, he was finished with the job within 40 minutes, with no repair parts required.When I confronted the Cyngier staff about it, they were combative and refused to refund their service fee or do anything else to improve the situation. I then sought to reverse the charges on my charge card. At that point, Cyngier made up a new receipt, one which I never received at the time of service, in order to make the charge stick.I cannot think of a worse customer experience over $138 ever in my life. I strongly encourage you to find another company besides Cyngier for your HVAC needs.

Air conditioning wasnt cooling properly so called Cyngier & received a prompt return call. Technician arrived several hours later and I was grateful he could squeeze me in late on a Saturday. Spent almost $350 to have a crabby technician tell me I need a new furnace/AC unit because mine is old. He couldnt have been more unpleasant & seemed bothered when I asked him questions. One of the worst customer service experiences! He added coolant, but the thermostat still isnt functioning correctly. Such a shame. I know who I wont be calling for an estimate on a new furnace/AC unit!
My furnace was making a ringing sound that was highly concerning. I had heard about Cyngier Heating and Air Conditioning in Strongsville and were reputable in the Strongsville Chamber. I gave them a call and they sent a technician out to my house within 24 hours. They were very thorough and did a good job explaining to a layperson what the problem was and options to deal with it. They were exactly the price they quoted, prompt, helpful, and professional. I was pleased with the service and will continue to recommend Cyngier Heating and Air Conditioning. From Sam Smyth in Cincinnati, had Heating and cooling problems and owning a Company and Commercial Building i needed good advise on what to do also having a Building at 100 years old needed correct advised on staying with Heating oil or change over to Gasafter Speaking with the owner Mr Peter Cyngier he said stay with heating oil it puts out a hotter heatand would run a lot more money also to change out the system with gas line on the other side of the State RT street with that said i stayed with the oil heat and am very happy to say since the price of oil went down and fuels at $2.29 my company is saving a ton of money this year fill up is going to be 1.80 a dollar less a gallon, great call and all around advise very pleased. Referred a friend that was getting estimates. Not only was the work done very professionally, but my friend ended up with much better equipment for only a slightly higher cost.
Approximately one month my AC went out and I also needed a new humidifier filter. I believed the issue was low freon as the inside coil was collecting ice. Same issue as two years ago. Scheduled an appointment with Cyngier. Service rep arrived 6 1/2 hours after appointment time. I had been in contact with their office that day on six calls to determine when rep may arrive. Having learned that the rep had several delays on one job due to electrical problems he couldnt diagnose. Upon arrival of the rep and knowing he had a difficult day I offered him water and even asked if he was hungry. He didnt answer but did proceed to be one of the rudest customer service reps Ive ever encountered. He then proceeded to the AC, hooked up his meter and withing 20 seconds told me the condenser and motor were shot, the AC wouldnt turn on and Id need a new one. I asked about the freon level and was told it was full i.e., 3.8 lbs (holds 4). Simply did not believe him. Once he thought he had a new AC sale his attitude changed ... all smiles. Left to write up an estimate, never left the new humidifier filter and never delivered an estimate. I proceeded to make a complaint to the office, received a call from Rozanne Owner/president?) who was very apologetic and promised to mail a humidifier filter as a customer service gesture for the poor service. Four weeks later and no filter has been delivered. The same day as the rep was here I called a second company that showed up within 2 hours (8:00 PM), checked out the AC, motor ran, condenser was fine and as expected freon was empty. An hour later AC was up and running.
These people are pathetic... they act like theyre interested in doing the job and take your info and tell you theyre going to call you back (multiple days in a row) after they contact the manufacturer to find specs for your unit. IF YOU DONT WANT THE JOB THEN DONT ACT LIKE YOU DO! pathetic!
Words cannot describe how impressed we were, to have hired this company! Our hot water tank was on its last leg and we called 4 local HVAC companies listed on google. Two of the companies gave quotes that were decent and the third never called back. Cyngiers professional crew came out and inspected the job, gave us an instant quote and went above and beyond what we expected. In addition to replacing our hot water tank, we explained we always ran out of hot water (with a family of 4) and they were able to accommodate a larger tank in a very tight space. All of that was obviously expected. What we were impressed with, was my wifes health after the install. We had a feeling something in the home we making her sick. We spent money on air tests for mold, radon test and even rented an ozone purifier to see if something in the home was the culprit.Well after a thorough examination of our previous hot water tank on their visit to give us their quote, they pointed out that the previous installer (which was done by a guy we found on craigslist) installed the exhaust pipe to the tank incorrectly and sure enough, it was leaking FUMES into our home. I first was skeptical of whether this was true, so I had a home inspector take a look at it that day and sure enough, they agreed to Cyngiers recommendation to have it fixed immediately. Since the repair by Cyngier and proper installation, my wife is no longer getting sick... Overall, we were just not only impressed but also happy with final price as it was what we expected and they did a good job with wearing footies on the carpet and made sure everything was clean after the job was done. Furnace went out Beginning of January - they came and repaired - middle of February - again stopped working - called them out, this time on a Sunday night at 9 p.m. - they claim they have 24 hour service - silly me I thought they came out anytime within 24 hours - not that was how long they took to respond - tech finally came out - could not find a problem - but was sure it was not same issue as in January - cleaned heating sensor - he was 75% sure that was the problem (his words not mine) - well - 24 hours later - furnace failed for a 3rd time - this time I called One Hour Heating and Air - avoid these people - rude on the phone, slow response - and the technicians - well - enough said about them
