I had an amazing experience there this morning. James was my barber and I will definitely make sure he is in the future too! He was great to talk to and did an amazing job cutting my hair and my beard so I can look good for my wedding this weekend. If you are a local or from out of town, look up James from Urban Stylez and set up an appointment. You will not regret it!

The haircut was over priced. I dont mind paying 40 dollars for a good haircut, but thats with a tip. If someone does a good job, I like to reward that person and come back. If a haircut is 20 or 25 dollars, based on how busy someone is or what day and quality haircut, Ill drop 15 to 25 on the cut. However, this started out being 35 dollars. Thats not the biggest concern though. I asked for a medium skin fade, and line up the beard, not trim. I MADE sure to say that because most people dont do it right. He ended up trimming my beard and also gave me a high skin fade. On top of that, the barber put Beard filler in my beard after he trimmed one area too low. If you mess up you mess up dude, Im reasonable about that, but dont put something on my face without telling me. Before the manager jumps on, like he has every comment about it being quality, thats not quality work. You ask someone before you do things like that, just how ever other barber shop has asked me before. I thought Id give you guys another chance and I walked down to put my name on the waiting clip board. That was at 239, its 523 right now and Ive gotten no text message for anyone. Its such a shame, because I literally live right above the barber shop in the lofts apartments. Its would be nice to have a convenient place to go to but, its just not this place.Edit to reply to owner,My issue is that no one called. I understand the prices, which still if you take the average prices in the surrounding areas, 40 is still high. Nevertheless, the biggest issue is about the wait. No one spoke to me when I walked in. My name was the only name on the clip board and you had 4 barbers in with 2 of them doing cuts. If someone needed to eat, thats fine. If someone needed to clean thats fine too. But if you say most of your customers do online appointments, say that and keep it that way, or dont make it online at all. If youre going to make it both, you customers who are walk-in still need to be treated with the same priority as those who make appointments. Even if you sent me a text saying, hey, Im sorry we couldnt make it in time for you today...etc then that would make me feel like Im a priority and you care about my business, whether its a walkin or an appointment. I do appreciate your response and I look forward to my next haircut with you. If its done properly, I will retract my comment and chalk it up to a one time bad experience. Thanks

Busy barber shop. Have 4-5 barbers / hair stylists on. They all seem pleasant / personable. Prices are reasonable

I’m going to keep it honest. All the barbers are great and know how to cut. The issue is expect to pay 45 bucks for a haircut and shape up and if your paying debit expect it to be 48 without the tip so basically your paying 50 bucks. This is just me being honest

The guys are great. Very friendly. And cut amazing with passion for their craft. My barber is Chelo, one of the best. Knocks it out of the park every time. You pay for quality here. I Always get the hot towel, beard shape up, and eye brows along with my haircut. Well worth it. Appointments are recommended so that you don’t have to wait much. We went to the Clermont location. Making the appointment on line was easy and it started on time. This was my sons first trip to the barbershop. Carter was fantastic! He was patient with my son ( and honestly with this first time mom as well 🙂). He answered all our questions and had great recommendations!! We already booked our second appointment. I moved to the area a few months ago from up North, and I’ve been looking for a good urban barber for my son (he has thick curly hair) and after trying a couple expensive for no good reason basic barbershops I’m happy I found Carter. The location is nice with parking, clean environment, reliable and has a great flexible schedule. Carter has been very professional from the beginning, on time and nice clean work. My son has since gotten 4 cuts, we will continue to use Carter because he listens to what my teen son wants, and executes it every time. #happycustomer

I made an appointment with James. It was my First haircut in a few months so I was very nervous. James made me feel very comfortable in his approach. He gave me a very well layered fade which i really appreciated because he used scissors on some parts to get the blend just right. Small details like that tell me the barber has my best interest in mind ! If you are looking for a well detailed cut James is the guy. He communicates well and asks for input before handling the problem areas. Truly the best cut Ive experienced in years.Will return when back in Orlando!

I I got there and was greeted but was not told about a waiting list A person who must have been a regular that they all knew walked in he walked up to every barber asking if he can get it appointment and then one of them direct him to the list that I have not even been told about after I’ve been sitting there for 20+ minutes unprofessional no customer service skills what so ever

We have been going to this barber shop at Cagan’s for over two years now without a complaint. When we make our appointments online, they note that they require masks due to Covid, but when we got there yesterday, half if not more of the patrons were not masked. It’s one thing if you’re getting a beard trimmed, but totally another when over a half dozen people are just milling around unmasked. We ended up having to be in this maskless environment for longer than necessary, due to our barber being a half hour behind. We ended up going outside to wait where it was safer. Very disappointing that the workers were not requiring patrons to be masked.

This junk was terrible first time coming after someone told me to and even tho the best barber carter wasn’t there I walk in at 5:25 and they close at 7 according to the website and on the door it says 6 and their told me they are closed for the day because they are some lazy barbers I recommend all star clips instead someone will cut you any time

I am new to the area looking for a good barber, I get my haircut once a week most of the time. Overall the fade was not bad. However walking in the barbershop my hair on top had gel and was slick back. During the haircut process my hair got all messed up on top.What’s disappointing is that the barber didnt even bother to fix it nor try to get some gel from anyone to fix it. So pretty much I walk in with neat hair and walk out with it looking messy. For the PRICE this should be unacceptable.

George at the Clermont location gives the best fade and shave and ear and nose wax I’ve ever experienced and I’m almost 50 years old. So I’ve had a lot of haircuts.

Walked in, asked if they take walk ins. No one answered no one treated me. What eventually seemed to be the founder (only know that because I looked at the wall) said he will be right with me. 20, I jets passed not one word. I was in the area for work and looking forward to a good haircut. Ended up walking out as no one even realized I was there. Terrible customer service. Will not re visit.

If you prefer quality, this is the place. Every barber is qualified. You wont find any great clips types in here. Worth every penny.

Everyone there always greets customers as soon as they enter the shop. I was there for 2 hours Both boys got haircuts from George at the Clermont location and the floor was swept numerous times. We have been clients for almost 2 years now, and drive 35 minutes and will not go to another barber. We appreciate how awesome he is and how friendly everyone always is.

Obviously the most important part of a barbershop is the quality of the cut, so let me start off by saying that these guys are the real deal. Best haircut Ive ever gotten. For the past several years Ive been wasting my time getting some hack jobs. If your going to a shop that offers bargain haircuts, yeah Its a couple dollars cheaper, but absolutely not worth it. I went to Urban Stylez after seeing some great reviews on Yelp, and the reviewers werent wrong. These guys treat their customers with the utmost care and precision when cutting hair. If you dont have an appointment (which youre able to make everyday) then you might be waiting for a short while, but its because the barbers wont rush a cut just to get the line moving along. Its about quality to these guys, which is a great thing to see. The atmosphere is very cool too, very clean and no loud annoying music blasting. The barbers have style and so does the shop itself. Its hipster-ish without being too pretentious. Overall, youre getting a great haircut for a great price at a great place. You cant go wrong here folks.

Its a decent place, Carter is an outstanding Baber extremely patient with my kid.

When I moved to this area from up north, I bounced around from barber shop to barber shop. Until I found this shop, quality and service is very important to me. The shop is always clean, very professional, and the talent of all the barbers onsite is second to none. I moved a bit further now but it is still definitely worth my 25 min drive every couple of weeks. My go to barber is Enrique, even though all the barbers here are very skilled and professional. Online appointments also makes it very convenient.

We absolutely love Urban Stylez Clermont. George is our barber and is always on time(which is a HUGE plus in my book) and haircuts are always perfect and the shop is always clean. I Been going a year to this barber shop to same barber her name is Tiana . She been doing amazing job with my Mohawk from fades to different designs i request. The atmosphere of the place is a relaxing one . This place has great talented barbers the price u pay is worth the service giving to you by any of the talented staff at this barber shop . The best barber shop I’ve been too in FL. Bounced around a few barbers in this shop until I found Enrique. He takes his time and really does awesome work. I book online, they send an email confirmation, when I walk through the door my barber is sitting in the chair waiting for me... it takes longer to write a bad review then it does to book an appointment online. My son is very serious about his hair and is picky about who can cut it. So, when we found Jamie after a year of trying different barbers (we moved down from NYC recently) I was so glad my son was happy with him. Needless to say, Jamie is our go-to guy for cuts, prices are great, the shop is in a great spot, and theyre clean!

I liked the name of the business so I tried it out. Charlie took care of me and all the other barbers would have done just as good. The owner takes pride in not only the level of service but also having pride of ownership. There is a second shop similar to this one in downtown Orlando.

Tony is very professional and has been my sons favorite barber at the shop for years. With scheduling an appointment online every Saturday like clockwork my son is in his chair.

Seriously the rudest place I have ever been to. I called to see if they were able to do my sons haircut a certain way and was told to walk right in, asked if I could make an appointment...said their down online and to just walk in I do just that. Never not once. No one EVER spoke to me. I waited 58 minutes and when chairs finally opened (3 chairs) they decided to take a 15 minute lunch break WHEN it was our turn. Clearly they were busy but I doubt they will continue to be as I saw 3 people walk out before me as I am sure no one spoke to them either. I told them specifically that I had a two year old son. How patient do you expect a child to be? Unprofessional. Dirty, hair everywhere not cleaned up even after someones done. This was more of a hang out than an establishment. Business has definitely changed. The REVIEW LIED on this business.

I just moved into town and I happened to find this place and now I dont think I can get a haircut anywhere else. Tatiana was amazing very friendly and very detailed oriented. For what I can see, everyone here takes pride in their jobs and it shows.

This morning I was on my way to work on hwy 27. At about 8:07am. I was just about to go through an intersection when I was adjusting my cruise control because I was doing 3 mph under the speed limit and then their Van turned right out into my lane from a red light. I had to slam on breaks to avoid a collision. Coffee went from my cup holder all over my car. I immediately beeped the horn and got the number off of the van. I called and left them a voicemail saying I hope they have good insurance because the person driving the van is going to kill someone! And that I would make sure to leave a review somewhere. Well now I am getting TEXT MESSAGES from this person in response to my voicemail telling me that I was speeding and that I have road rage and anger issues.... Hows that for professionalism?! Ridiculous!

Place is a joke. If you value your time don’t bother with this place cause they certainly don’t value anyone’s time but their own. I don’t usually pay attention to the 1 star reviews, but if everyone is saying the same thing it’s hard to believe everyone is wrong.
