I took our work van for service at the NTB in Clemmons and my experience was great! I had an appointment and they got it right in and did a full inspection, told me what I needed and they got it done timely. The atmosphere was professional and positive. The staff works well together like a well-oiled machine. I didn’t feel like I was talked down to at all as everything was explained to me very well. Great job team!!!

Took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation, Matt informed me that 2 of my tires were going bad. I asked him for prices for two new tires and he never made feel pressured to buy them at NTB he also gave me several options on different price ranges. I ended up having my tires replaced. The wait was not long and I felt as if they kept me informed on how much longer it will be. Great job NTB in Clemmons for the great customer service. Will definitely be going back.

I frequent this location for oil changes and tire rotations, typically booking the appointments online. Ed (Store Mgr) and his staff are always helpful to get me in/out and back on the road as quickly as possible. Honest bunch who do not try and sell you a service that you may not need, but gladly offer their opinion and expertise if they notice something that needs to be addressed on your vehicle. Stop by and see them for your automotive needs.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff great place to get tires and service work done in your car or truck

Talked with Ed today about tires and he was very knowledgeable about what I needed. He was not pushing me towards tires I cant afford. I am still looking but will likely be heading back to NTB to speak with and purchase my tires from Ed. While I was there he did check and top off the air in my tires and for that I say thank you sir.

They are awesome!! Clay was super quick to help fix my tire problem and Ainsley at the front is super friendly and knowledgeable. I came in on a Sunday and they were so busy but had no problem getting to me right away and apologetic for any wait I had. Overall great experience and good people!

I come to this location for everything that needs to be done to any of my vehicles. Very honest and knowledgeable. I always tell my friends and family they need to bring their vehicle over there for anything that needs to be done to it. Ed and Ainsley are both awesome and a pleasure to do business with!

Went by yesterday after work to get my air pressure checked and the gentleman I spoke with was on point. His name was Ed, and he pointed out that I will also need new tires soon and explained why. Ed never talked down to me during his explanation. We talked about what tires would be best for my Toyota 4Runner and also decided what tires were in my price range and once I have the money to purchase the tires I will definitely be going back to the Clemens store to purchase my tires.

They are always very courteous and treat me like family!

How long does it take to mount and balance 4 tires? About 45 minutes if there easy. Maybe 1 hour 15 minutes on the heavy tires. Are the busy? Nope only customer here. .under staffed? Nope 2 guys sitting out back on there phones.. going on 2 hours now and only one tire done..smdh. I understand the need to get employees hours but not at the customers expense. In all fairness the clerk did tell me 1 1/2 hours but its been 2 hours and probably another too go.

Had the best experience because of one specific employee named Ainsley, because of her i got a great deal on a set if tires and bought a package for unlimited tire balancing and rotations for the next five years. I highly highly highly recommend you speak with her before anyone else.

If there were a rating lower than 1 star that is what I would suggest. Arrived for an appointment to do a 5 minute tire inspection. Took 20 minutes just to speak to a representative, they had no record of my appointment . Was told that they could do it, but it would not be quick. If efficiency is any indication of this shops capabilities. I would suggest you stay away!!

I started going to the NTB in Clemmons about a year ago. Prior to meeting Ed, I always felt uneasy about going into places like this because of the atmosphere and way that I was treated. But from our initial interaction, he has been nothing but amazing! And the team is great that work there. Not only do they truly care about their customers and make sure that they provide knowledge insight for all auto needs, they offer great service. This is definitely my go-to place!

Pulled up without an appointment this afternoon, fully expecting a long wait but not the case at the NTB on Lewisville Clemmons Rd. Ainsley promptly greeted and checked me in with fantastic customer service. Managed my time expectations perfectly and got me out of there in a lot less time than I imagined.

Asked me to come back later in the week when they were less busy but this set proper expectations. My car got the full attention of the staff and they worked with the warranty company to completely cover the vehicle repairs. Will come back.

When they told me my brakes were due to be changed, I was doubtful. I just bought this car and the previous owner told me they had already done them, but the service manager Emmet took me out to the shop while my car was on the lift and the mechanic Andrew took me around my car with a flashlight and a showed me the measurements on ALL of them! I can’t believe the previous owner lied to me, but I know where I’ll be coming to get all my work done from now on. Trustworthy and transparent!

NTB in Clemmons is the best place to bring your car for any problem. They are fast and courteous. I’ve been taking my car there for 10 years now . They check my tire pressure anytime without an appointment anytime I needed.

Ed and his team at NTB of Clemmons are the real deal. My truck has been losing oil pressure the past few periods before oil changes and Ed educated me on the possibilities of whats going on, took the time to show me various parts under the hood, and explained the consequences of not having had my tires aligned when I recently replaced them, which wasnt even my original reason for bringing my truck in today. Not once did he try to sell me something not needed or upcharge me, but he honestly taught me what to look for and how to take better care of my engine. If youre anywhere in the surrounding area, pay these guys a visit for your vehicles needs.

I dont know if Matt was off his game that day, isnt properly trained by NTB, or something... He wasted 1.5hrs of my time by having me sit around and wait for nothing.I went in needing two tires. Matt comes out and checks over the car, documents mileage, and does a walk-around. He tells me itll be done in 1.5 hrs.I get a call in about 1. 5hrs that they just brought it in. (poor time management, as he could have called to inform me they were behind schedual, understaffed, ect)He also informs me that they cant install two tires as their policy states any AWD vehicle must be sold 4 tires (this policy makes sense in certain circumstances). He should have informed me of this policy at the time he walked around the vehicle and accepted the job.I feel the service writer needs a proper check list to follow when accepting vehicles to prevent wasting customers time.

This location used to be my go to place. New management is, in my opinion, not trustworthy. Get a second opinion before having any additional work done on your car. I was told I needed $1500 worth of work and I took my car to TWO additional places to be checked and they both disagreed. I spoke with the district manager who was RUDE and INSULTING A similar incident happened with my son. He was told he needed about $1500 worth of work that another location said was not needed. Interestingly, NTB overlooked something that he knew was wrong with his car. Is $1500 the goal of all service visits?

This review is directed to NTB in Clemmons NC, I believe is store 330 or 7330, Yesterday I was lucky enough to find that Edward Mercier is now the manage of this Store, I used to be an NTB customer when he was at another store but when he went to another place their quality dropped, all kind of bad stuff were happening so decided to take my cars somewhere else, Im very happy to know that we have Edward now in this area, he is great, he does an amazing job helping people, he is nice and very friendly, he definitely knows what he is doing, and the crew is very good too, very quick and they know what they are doing, so Edward keep doing what you are doing, thanks a lot for your help God Bless you!

Beware. Always ask for a price quote before they even touch your vehicle. My wife brought our truck in, which they offered to do a code-read on. Of course, I have a decent code-reader at home and could have done that myself. I had no idea that they would ask to do that. She assumed that it would be free, because they stand to possibly get some work by doing that for people. Wrong. They wanted $95 for having done it! One minute of time for $95. We refused to pay and that was that.

After the new management change, these guys are on top of it. Complete 180% change around from last time I was here. Take your jeep here for sure, youll be happy you did.

This business is a scam, I came in for a inspection and they tried lying to my face about problems with my car that were not needed to pass. Then they proceeded to tell me my obd2 is under the hood. This business is unprofessional and will take advantage of you if you don’t know anything about your vehicle. I will not be back! And I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone under any circumstances.

This is the most time consuming auto shop I’ve ever been too. It took them over 2 hours to change one tire and they repeatedly asked which tire it was and if I wanted to move the dry rotted tire to the front??? Why would I do that when the two at the front are almost brand new from another tire shop that did it in 5 minutes or less. This was my only day off and I spent it here what a great day. I despise this place it sucks.

Rented a car recently from a well know rental place, 10 mins into my 700 mile trip the car got a flat tire. The rental company took forever to approve the tire change but Ed, the manger and Issac the technician dealt with the company, had it fixed and us out the door quickly, saving my trip.

The store manager mr Ed mercier was absolutely awesome. He noticed something really wrong with my truck and went way beyond the call of duty to get me straight. Also told me what else I need to get it fixed completely. He will have my hole family business. From tires to oil. He has it. I highly recommended this store in Clemmons nc. He really made my day. Never again will I take my car to NTB. If zero stars were an option I would give zero stars. I called ahead and was told no appointment was necessary. They could do the job quickly. 90 minutes I waited for a state inspection and still my car sat on the lift. No one had touched it. I asked for my car back and left. The mechanic did not apologize and gave no reason. I’ve learned my lesson. NEVER will I trust NTB with anything. It is shameful and disappointing that a national chain cannot provide such a simple service in a timely manner.

Had an appointment. They were 30 minutes late taking my car back for a simple oil changeTwenty minutes after taking it back they refused to change the oil because it has an oversized oil plug. Claimed it was a liability and would need a new plug/oil pan. Another 185.00 plus the 69.99 oil change. So, I took it to my mechanic. My mechanic ( Dennis Automotive Care told me it is the original factory plug ! NOT an oversized plug ! Oil changed. Wow.... makes me think that they try to take advantage of women ! I will never do any business with them again !

They only get a one because zero is not an option. Apparently it takes 5+ hours to get 4 new tires and an inspection. Biggest mistake bringing my vehicle here. Prices are higher than competitors, they have no grasp of time. Poor excuse for a repair shop. Also Im writing this still waiting on my vehicle working on hour number 6.

We visited them while we were out of town on Saturday Aug. 17, 2019, visiting family two hours away from our hometown. We had a leak in our tire and they took us right in and treated us super nicely and got our tire fixed in a timely manner. Zachary (the guy working the desk) was super friendly and so were the techs. They have the best prices around. Highly recommended and if we are in need of a tire or assistance when we are visiting again we will definitely use them.

Back in December, my family had some car work that began to stack up which we wouldn’t have time to do on our own. As people who typically do this type of work ourselves to save the money, we were sure to shop around to ensure we got the best price for the amount of work we needed done. NTB was happy to negotiate the price and find parts that fit my budget, so the job was completed in a very timely manner and with a price that accommodated our needs. While this saved us lots of spare time during the holiday season, it also made sure our vehicles were repaired to a high standard and reduced future maintenance costs! Considering the amount of time and stress my family was saved for the reasonable cost and incredible turnaround time, I am forever thankful to Jason and Zach for all their help and look forward to working with them and the rest of the NTB staff during a future visit!

Nothing special. Store manager is rude but shop manager is awesome. However I had to wait over an hour to get my vehicle serviced and can clearly see i did not get my included tire rotation advertised with the oil change. I always mark the inside side walls of front tires with chalk as a precaution since ture wear is important in rain, slush or snow. So 3 star because of store manager poor service and lack of tire rotation which was included with oil change

It has always been bad but I overlooked for the 19.99 oil change. This is my last time going. They open at 9 on Sun. I checked in my car at 9. More people came in right after with no appointment. I thought that Im glad I came in when I did. So I sat and waited. A car after me went in. Thats cool no problem. Then another car that was after them went in and by then it was already 10. I heard the store manager speaking with a customer on the phone to come on down it is first come first serve. Now it is 10:15. I asked for my keys back so I could go elsewhere. Manager just replied here you go. Will not return to this location. You can tell this is a location where no buddy cares or takes any pride in their work and it definitely starts with management. Ha wow this is the longest review I have ever posted. Just looking out.

Schedule online or go 1st thing at 7a. Service is professional and fair. My go to oil change place (for full disclosure, Ive always gotten my tires elsewhere for less). I usually wait. Small waiting room is fine. Or better, walk next door to Petes Restaurant and have breakfast while they finish your oil. No complaints. Been going here for over a decade back to when this was a Merchant Tire. I miss the oil change coupon books. Bring them back NTB!

Enjoyed my experience at National Tire and Battery. The guys at the counter walk you through the process, find out what you need, and even help do a borderline inspection of your 🚙car. Then they let you know what steps to take next, once the car is in the shop someone comes out and walks you through issues and resolutions, and give you a quote. This location is affordable for 👨‍🔧 repairs, inspections, and oil changes. They can be a bit more expensive for new tires but do try to find the best deal for you. They also have ♿ handicap accessible parking, entrances, and seating.

I would not recommend getting auto services done here. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my least favorite person. I was getting fires for my F250. Preordered said tires online, then showed up the next day for my set appointment. They called and wanted me to come in early to have the tires put on before realizing they sold my preordered tires. I showed up and left with nothing but hatred for that mechanic.

I was a 2nd party there ..but I will say as busy as they were they kept us updated & noticed they directed their customers in my opinion to a honest direction of what is needed for your car

My husband and I went here for new tires and expressed to the manager who was helping us that we came for the deal they had on tires and couldn’t afford anything very pricey. We decided to go ahead and get the oil changed and asked for new brakes. You wouldn’t think that this would be too terribly much more. Well my friends, we paid $700 for the tires - reasonable. THEN we paid $700 for an OIL CHANGE and BRAKE PADS put on. $700!!!!! They did a bunch of stuff we DID NOT ask for!!! Specifically laid out what we wanted and then this!!! My advise would be to follow the rest of these horrible reviews along with mine and NEVER EVER trust these robbing unethical poor excuse of a business. They hire and keep people in leadership who have severe cyber stalking arrest records which I know first hand. Bad leadership, bad and corrupt employees, and bad business!!!!!

This place is absolutely horrible. Not sure if its the company or the employees, or which is worse. First off the prices are insanely high and way more than your average mechanic. Secondly, if they happen to have you over a barrel like during inspection time... expect to pay out for things other shops will never fail you on. The employees lack any kind of tact or personality, and will literally walk right past you while your asking a question. If there is one business that doesnt fit in here in Clemmons, its this one. Mock tire across the street is way more receptive and willing to assist. The people are friendlier and seem to have a sense of urgency when you need a repair. NTB could learn a helluva lot.

Went to get an oil change, inspection and tire pressure light addressed. Guy that originally checked me in “Jason, I think) was very nice. His shift was apparently over while I was there. My inspection was never done, the tire light was not turned off or addressed for that matter. A tall guy in glasses came out with a horrid attitude. That will be my last visit there.

I called at 7pm and a gentleman by the name of Bradley was super nice to me when I said I needed an oil change. He said he would take care of me as soon as I arrived. I knew they closed at 8 and it may put them behind, he assured me it was ok. He was very respectful and quite pleasant to converse with. NTB did an amazing job and the staff was impressive. This was my first visit, but I can see myself returning with my other vehicles.After a long day at work and needing an oil change my experience there was a very positive one.

They do good work and pricing is competitive - but making an appointment is useless. I made an 8 a.m. appointment for 4 new tires, alignment, oil change and inspection. I arrived at 7:55 a.m. but they didnt start working on my car until after 9 mean while 3 walk ins (no appointment) had their cars worked on first. I was satisfied with the work and pricing and will likely use them in the future but will be sure to call ahead to make sure they will be able to start on my car at the scheduled time.

Went to the location at Clemmons NC. I went to buy 4 tires at around 8:30am on Nov 2. The man at the front counter must have been a bad day and his attitude was very unpleasant. I felt I was annoying him for just being there. I couldnt wait to get out of there. I ended up driving down the road and buying my tires someplace else. I dont judge NTB by one employee, but it will not be my future tire place.

I went in for some engine trouble and they charged 122 dollars for an engine diagnostic and then they said the parts and labor for two problems with the engine were going to be about 850 dollars. I left and went somewhere else and was charged 320 dollars for the same service and a free diagnostic. Never gonna go here again. The people at the desk were very friendly though.
