The Clearwater store on 110th has always been a satisfying experience for me. Starting from the excellent management of this facility, down to the new faces that pop up once in a while. Being neighbors i frequent Fastenal sometimes more than once a day. Even though the location is convenient there are two other very close similar stores that i chose to opt out of visiting due to the customer service and parts availability level of almost always having what i need to get the job done that day. Great job guys.

Was in a rush for three two inch bolts and nuts. Later that day I review receipt indicates $2 for shipping and handling !!! This was a counter sale. Called and said it was because we had to open bag... Then the total was unreasonable, $16. What !! is there a NASCAR sticker fee I missed? What a rip off. Clerk was nice though.

Fastenal is a terrible company. Unless you are a consistent buyer with high volume and an account, the prices are completely outrageous. They usually dont have what you need in stock, however they can usually get it the next day. But again, its going to be very expensive, even if youre buying 500 to a 1,000 pieces or more. Years ago, the store was able to negotiate prices at the store level. Now, everything is set by corporate and account pricing, and no discounts are given that arent related to your account discount which is related to your volume and purchase history. There are plenty of other fastener suppliers out there like Wurth, Tri-City Bolt, and Pinellas Fastener, all with very reasonable pricing.

Went in for some bolts didnt not have in stock sent me to another store located 30 minutes away even called to find out for me if they had the bolts I needed and said they did, great. Get there I come to find out theyre to short by a quarter inch. Go back to the store to let him know I was not pleased and to see what went wrong, if you guessed the gentleman COULDNT READ A RULER you would be correct.
