Not very well organized. Local contractors digging around trying to find things. Lots of unprofessional language. People complaining about pay.NOT impressed, at all.

Couldnt have had a better all around experience with this Suddath. From start to finish, they did a fantastic job. They answered every email and call I had in a timely manner. The movers were punctual and I had no damages to my furniture. I would 100% recommend!

Where I was told that because I used to work there and I no longer work there that I was not welcome there under any circumstances or conditions medical nor emergency!!! I am very disappointed with this company given the good reviews it has. I am a college student that had hired Suddath to move my things out of my dorm in July given that I could not return to campus to pack away my own things.In my original contract given they had charged me $120 to move my things back to campus and had promised that my stuff would arrive before I arrived on campus. Fast forward to a week before moving onto campus I was charged an additional $50 to move my things onto campus AND my stuff did not arrive until A WEEK after I had arrived on campus. Because of this, I was sleeping in a friends sleeping bag for a week wearing the same four outfits I had packed in my bag on my trip back to school.Later I find out that multiple other students on campus were not charged AT ALL to have their things moved back to campus and they received their things the day they arrived to campus.Once receiving my items I was also upset by the fact that they had broken many of my storage containers, scratched my fridge, and had gone through undergarments that I had packed and tied shut before leaving campus for spring break.To top this off they packed SOMEONE ELSES PILLOWS in my boxes and after 2 emails, no one has told me what to do with them. I lived in a single last year so I have NO IDEA whos pillows these belong to.Also, communication was TERRIBLE. As noted above it took me multiple emails to get ahold of them about my damages and what to do with the pillows. They sent me a link to go through for damages and have still not addressed me on what to do with these pillows. Leading up to move-in, I had sent countless emails and called multiple times before someone could give me any information on my belongings. Which only resulted in them saying I owed them more money that was not stated on my original proposal.When speaking on the phone with my customer service attendant they were friendly and nice-- however, there are many things that need to be worked on before I would recommend ANYONE to this company.I can also say that many of my friends had the same problems with this company, if not worse (ie. stuff came back moldy, things were stolen, etc).

A very professional and courteous. They take extra special care of ur things and makes sure they get where they are going protected. They wrap and support all ur delicate items. Would definitely recommend them for your moving needs. They can move you anywhere across the country.

I moved from Jacksonville to Tampa with Suddath on 8/28. Unfortunately, my couch was not able to fit into my new home, so my original sales rep, Perry Saunders, quoted me $150 to return the couch back to Jacksonville with the driver and to deliver it to my sisters home. After I agreed, Perry reached out to me several days later and tried to charge me $100 additional, to which I had to argue with him about. It has now been 14 days and my sister still has not received my couch. I have followed up with Perry several times and even had to supply Perry with my drivers cell phone number. Perry seems very unorganized. I couldnt imagine not having my own co-workers number and having to ask my own customer for it. Today, Perry told me that the delivery driver has become unresponsive and asked me to try and call him personally. I responded and asked Perry if I need to report my couch missing/stolen and told him he made me feel very uncomfortable by suggesting I reach out to the deliver driver (not my job). I am waiting to hear back from Perry as I am not understanding how a couch and an employee can go missing without notifying the customer and filing a claim on my behalf. I called Suddaths main line 8 times (tried reaching Customer Service for residential moves, the Operator and Claims, and the phone just rings and rings with no answer). I am not sure what next step to take and I hope someone will help me soon.

I had my stuff packed and stored by Suddath. When I went back to retrieve my belongings nothing was well packed. A lot of my fragile stuff was broken and I am missing a necklace. When I tried to communicate with them I received very unclear answers and last minute notices. I would not recommend this service to anyone. Terrible service for high prices.I would like to add that Suddath has responded to the above part of my comment but I reached out to the number given and NEVER received a call back despite leaving multiple messages. I think this just goes to show the lack of care of this company. I was happy to see them taking initiative to solve some of these problems but this is simply not the case.

I hired Suddath to help me with a local move. i could not be happier with the service i received. They went above and beyond at every turn evening helping rearrange my bedroom as my first plan didnt work. i am very thankful i was recommended Suddath and look forward to passing the word around!

Moving - Never easy - but Wow they sure made it feel that way! I cannot say enough good things about the team at Suddath/United, Deb really helped put my mind at ease with her professionalism and good humor from the moment we met, she followed up with me as well as Madison my move coordinator to make sure I understood what was happening with my move every step of the way. My driver Johnny and his team were amazing on moving and delivery days, so efficient and careful with all my belongings. My parents recently had a very unsatisfactory moving experience with B-----, comparing the two experiences is like comparing night and day! On behalf of my fellow classmates who used this moving company at recommendation from the school, it has been nothing but terrible. They came to pack up for students who could not make it to campus because of COVID. Mouse droppings and bugs have been reported in boxes, mold covering boxes, in one instance they did not unpack the freezer in the mini fridge and a fellow classmate picked up her belongings and her fridge had maggots inside. They are lousy at responding to the phone / email, my own roommate is trying to get her stuff and cannot get in touch with you. Personally I don’t know how you have so many five star ratings but I’m assuming you don’t care for your college students that you pack for as well as your other customers. Many students on our Facebook page reported dead bugs throughout their boxes, all of their belongings seemed carelessly packed and just thrown in a big box. So please work on this because it’s unacceptable.

They did a great job packing up my daughters belongings at school while she was told to stay home due to COVID-19. The packing was professional and they were very helpful upon pickup of the boxes.

The people we spoke with were very passive aggressive. The entire office team was unprofessional and rude. The kindest people who helped us were the people why packed my objects and they were over wrapped for the necessity of the item. My mini fridge was not fully emptied and when picked up harbored maggots.

All those that handled my move were excellent. Madison was very helpful at all times. Steve was very professional and worked very hard. Darrell and Clint worked very hard in the Florida heat. Steve and Justin worked very hard during the unload and had to bring all my items up two flights of stairs and Justin never slowed down for a minute. Davina was excellent in helping set up my move with United Van Lines. I gave Steve a check to share with all the helpers at the end because I didn’t have any finances left at the start of the move. They all deserve to be recognized for the excellent job that they did for the me and the way they represented the company.

No communication, blocked from emailing them, and didnt inform me until the day before that they werent able to bring my stuff at the date they were suppost to. Have to pick up my own stuff and I wasnt informed that I couldnt pick up my stuff for a week until literally just now. DONT USE THEM. THEY SUCK.

Working with this company was a delight. The staff are very skilled and stayed with us through every step.Today was delivery day. Three terrific workers were on time and very personable. Maryann, Doug and George made sure that we didn’t lift a finger. They had the job done in no time. Words can’t describe how impressed we were.If you have a move coming up or need to store your stuff for awhile look no further. Suddath is the go to company.

We had a local move from St Pete to St Pete. Suddath was a little more expensive then the 2 men and a truck but they were worth every penny. We moved from 3rd floor apt to 3rd floor apartment. Only one item was damaged which i was amazed by and Suddath took care of it right away. if your looking for a moving company this is who i would use every time.

We recently used Suddath St. Pete for the second time, and once again the service was outstanding. Our crew, Harold, Gordon and Clem were phenomenal. They were both our packers and movers, and their attention to detail and concern for our possessions was first rate. At both the origin location and destination location, they made sure we did a walk through to ensure everything was accounted for and relocated as we wanted. The guys were extremely professional and great to work with.Deb Hicks was our moving coordinator on both our moves, and she made the process of organizing the moves a breeze. I work for a medium - large company and we have been working with Suddath for a few years now with excellent results. They handle everything for us, from moving almost 400 employee crates and computer equipment to moving 30 employee crates and computer equipment. They disassemble our office furniture and either reassemble it or keep it in a storage for us. Bill is always curious, professional and helpful with all our needs. The company I work for is currently using Suddath for a massive local move. I needed to quickly locate an item that was inadvertently left behind in one of the offices. Most everything went fine until Mayflower decided not to fix scratches in a bedroom set they have damaged. They asked for me to verify the value and I was able to find the manufacture and line. From some reason they would not accept that and they would not tell me why.Beware - Mayflower and Suddath do not honor their agreement- I had a full repair/replace contract and the damage was verified and cost to fix estimated by a contractor hired by Mayflower Suddath.Ive updated this review to 3 stars. They finally fairly compensated me for my loss. They hit all the dates but I deducted 2 stars due to amount of damage and the difficulty in being compensated.

Suddath in St. Pete did an excellent job on my delivery. They were on time and very professional. We were remodeling and they worked around the other contractors and made sure that all of our furniture was placed out of the way so it would not get damaged. Harold, Gordon, and Willie were the best. Completed move of all furniture in one day. Efficient and great care of the furniture. Even got an impossible couch into a small room. There were some issues in scheduling on the dispatch side that required them to send a second truck, but that was not an issue with the crew and it got done in one day!

So we had to do a move of our apartment into a 24 U-Haul to go across the state. The guys from Suddath showed up around 9:30 AM and had our entire apartment done in only 2 hours! When we unloaded it ourselves on the other side of the state it took 2 day! Not only were they expeditious, they were super cool. We had a great time and will recommend them again and again.

They have all the highest certifications, accreditation’s and Insurance coverage to deliver to buildings managed by large leasing agencies who have strict requirements for delivering to high rises in which elevators are involved. I was told to put the original boxes by the items and that they would pack them inside to ensure 100% liability in case of any issues. Since Im OCD about that sort of stuff I keep my boxes. I placed them by the items and only my computer monitor was packaged in the original box and even then it was incorrect and had damage to it. Not a happy camper.
