The service and ease of use with Enterprise is excellent. Everyone I spoke with was very helpful and friendly. The only reason I dont give the 5th star is because the car was issued to me with a tire with low air. I think that should be a standard check before issuing the car. Returning the car was very easy. I was able to leave it at the car dealership where I was having a personal car repair completed. I will definitely use Enterprise again and would recommend them.

I have not received service like that from any rental agent, thats what you call top 5 star service. I needed a car as my vehicle was in the shop for repairs for about a week. Apparently, rental cars were very limited anywhere in the Tampa Bay area due to spring break, but Enterprise did have some. The prices were higher than usual but that’s to be expected with supply and demand. I made the reservation online through USAA using my credit card with them. Long story short, I arrived at my schedule time and the process could not have been easier. Demi was my agent and she “knocked it out of the park“! I had pre-filled all the information prior to arriving which made a huge difference. An economy car was not available so they gave me an upgrade at no cost. The return of the vehicle was even easier. I returned it at set time, was met outside by an agent who said I could leave the keys with her and that was basically it. My deposit was credited back to my credit card a few hours later and the appropriate charges applied. It honestly could not have been any easier to rent a car. Keep up the good work Enterprise.

We had a reservation, just like many past reservations and for some reason the lady working this morning on 12/5 gave my husband the hardest time. How do you explain being able to book another reservation for a different location and my husband just had to show ID. Verified the address on file (as a repeat customer) and got his rentals. I’m beyond disappointed, this representative should be investigated. Just last week we was able to get a rental there with the same info, my husband was even informed he wouldn’t have to worry about address verification again, in that way. But here we are. Very sad!!

I use Enterprise exclusively. All rentals are very seamless. I had an issue with my latest rental in that the car smelled heavily of stale cigarettes. The smell didnt show up until the car got hot inside - thus we didnt noticed it during the initial pick-up of the car. The car had a No Smoking sticker in it but it was obvious that was ignored. Fortunately we didnt spend a lot of time in the car so it wasnt a big issue. If the road trip was longer this would have been a large issue and we would have likely had to find a place to swap the car.

I am beyond disappointed with my experience here. They did not have anything comparable to what I reserved when I showed up, so I picked a larger vehicle than what I am used to. The manager suggested getting 2 days of optional damage coverage since I was not used to the vehicle, which I did (I was told by my repair shop they would have my car for 7-10 days, which ended up only being 4). After I returned the car, I noticed the amount charged was double what I agreed to. When I asked about it, I was given the full run-around, including nonsense calculations and an indefinite date as to when to expect a credit. I was also told to check my bank if I did not see the credit come through. Two weeks after returning the car, I received my final invoice, which showed that I was charged for 4 days of optional damage instead of 2 (I am sure it would have been 10 days if the shop had my car as long as they thought). Once I pointed that out, I have not received a reply from either the manager or the billing contacts (phone and email) listed on the invoice after multiple requests. When you call the phone number, you cannot talk to an actual person, but rather you have to follow several steps to leave a message. It has been 3 weeks now. I would give zero stars if I could.

We had made a reservation online a couple days before our trip to Clearwater airport to rent a car from here. After arriving and giving my name I was told it would be about an hour wait due to being backed up and having to do proper sanitation. After waiting outside on the curb for an hour and a half (the inside was closed for some reason) we were told they were out of cars for people under the age of 25 and I could not be helped. The staff was very kind but the outcome was ridiculous for how long we waited plus having a reservation.

I do not recommend. The service was slow and the car was dirty. Also, this location is not good. When you pull out, you can only head north on US 19. I needed to go south and had to drive miles up the road before I could do a U turn. You would think a national company could pick a better location.

Incredible customer service experience with the Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Safety Harbor. Not only did they come to my home to swap out a car, when my car seat and rear view mirror werent working out for me in the car i had rented, but they also gave us a ride back to my home when we returned the car. Allen and the staff here are fantastic. I have rented from them on 2 occasions now, and wouldnt go anywhere else.

I am most impressed by how successful the Enterprise Manager at this location, Allens ability to operate the rental company with precise efficiency and expertise. I was put into a rental car that has an expired registration. Drove for two weeks with this before it was discovered. When I called the location to inform them of this I was directed to do my own leg work in finding another location that had the same vehicle I was driving. I contacted Enterprise customer service and noted my complaints and got zero response. Not impressed with the customer service.Addendum: After writing the above review, my credit card was charged by Enterprise for a toll charge. The toll charge was over 180 miles away from my home. Upon requesting a review, Enterprise initially declined the request to refund the toll. They couldnt be bothered to actually verify the vehicle make, color and license plate with the state Toll authority. Upon obtaining this info (again I had to do all the work), the vehicle was not the one I was rented! Good luck getting Enterprise corporate care to respond.

If I could give zero stars I would. My experience with this enterprise location was extremely unpleasant. This location called me the day before to verify i still needed my rental car. When I arrived the next day, they did not have what I reserved. What was the point in calling me? They offered me an SUV that was two sizes smaller than what I reserved without an adjustment to the rate! When I complained they offered me an upgrade vehicle. This vehicle did not have a bench backseat and made our travel difficult. Since we had to use the third row seating and lost storage space which is why we reserved a larger SUV. When I let the associate know that this was not a great option and was not what we reserved she said Well, we gave you an upgrade. Horribly unprofessional and this place is a scam!

Never, EVER leave reviews however they made my stressful situation so much easier to deal with so I thought I’d take the time to do so. I needed a rental while my vehicle was getting fixed. The insurance company sent me to Hertz which was a complete nightmare. They had lost my reservation then only had a toy sized car for me (and my 2 boys). I called enterprise and they personally picked me up from hertz and got me into a nice sized SUV. Alan at the front desk took care of everything for me with the insurance company. Austin explained all the features on the truck. All and all I was in and out within 30 minutes. Everyone was super helpful. I had my 1 year old with me and pretty much every employee stopped to peak at the baby and make sure my needs were being met. Great team!!!

A great experience all around. Saturday mornings are busy but I was the second in line so the wait wasnt long. Logan was very efficient and helpful. Probably wouldnt be a bad idea to have more than one person working on a Saturday morning as there were several people in line after me. The return was equally as easy. This location is closed due to covid. They sent me here to pick the car up and there was a sign on the door saying closed indefinitely. I had to wait on hold for half an hour to be told to uber to a different location. No discount offered for my additional expenses. Terrible service.

Would never rent from this location again. They do not explain you are paying $ 100.00 drop off fee when you return their car to the 3 mile airport away. It would have been cheaper to keep the car another day. Trying to get Allen (AKA the manager ) on the phone is impossible. They claim since it was done online its my responsibility. When the online tool charged the same price returning back to their facility, I stupidly figured that was the cost. $ 300.00 for a 3 day rental. Total rip off place. Oh BTW do not bother calling corp customer service. They cant do anything but talk to you.

TERRIBLE! I rented a minivan (2016 Dodge caravan) for a 2.5 week road trip with 3 children. The vehicle was dirty. I mean it was not riddled with dirt but it was obvious this was a quick turn around rental which barely got wiped down and there were a few crumbs near the center console. Something in the steering wheel was rattling/squeaking the entire trip. It was distracting to say the least. Im not sure what it even was but I contacted enterprise shortly after renting to ask to be put into a clean vehicle which doesnt squeak. I honestly didnt even know if this vehicle was mechanically sound as I didnt know what the noise was. I was advised that unless the vehicle is broke down or unsafe to drive I had to deal with the noise. It was ridiculous. I cant imagine a company as large as enterprise couldnt get me into a different vehicle. Its unsafe to drive being so distracted, especially since my trip was going to be driving at night through the mountains! On inspection when renting, the staff showed me the in dash DVD player and how to load a disc. He pointed to the overhead compartment (but never actually opened it) and said the screen flips down here so your kids can watch movies. Well, the kids picked out movies and when I loaded the DVD and asked them to flip the screen down, they said there was none!!!! Its was a dummy storage compartment, NOT A SCREEN!!!! This van was embarrassing to drive. Lots of dings and scratches including what appeared to be a light sideswipe down the passenger side. Come on Enterprise.....banged up vehicle fleet? After a horrid drive for 2 weeks with this car and 3,800 miles later......I returned it with my complaint and was given an Im sorry but if I give you a small credit can I get a 5 star rating pitch. I said I would see what I could do. Well, I also provided my plenti card to receive points for the rental and that was in July 2017. I am still waiting on those points. Doubt I will ever see them. The people were friendly but clueless/incompetent!!! Telling me about a DVD player that does not even exist!!!! Point is the van should never have been on the road! Disappointed in Enterprise is putting it mildly. Never again! Get your staff training, give these vehicles a good cleaning in between rentals and for goodness sake...have them driven and inspected and taken off the road if they are noisy or banged up.

Great Enterprise location! My Customer Service rep, Morgan, did a good job getting me my rental and the new You Click, We Pick option saved me about $30 on booking a vehicle! When I returned the car 2 full hours early, it also reduced my overall charge to my credit card, and they were happy to do that. Ill definitely use this location for my future rental needs!

When I needed some work done on my car, Enterprise came to the body shop, picked me up, and gave me a great rate on a fantastic car. Both associates I worked with were incredibly helpful and friendly, and made sure I could modify my reservation as I received updates from the body shop so I could have the car the whole time I needed it. I didnt know what to expect from a small suburban rental location, however the service and vehicle were excellent. Not as much vehicle selection in a smaller location, however I was able to get a much better, and very low milage vehicle than expected. My representative, Christina was efficient, made sure the vehicle was to my liking, and followed up during and after the rental period. As a frequent renter, this was one of the best experiences Ive had.

Normally I would have giving this branch a 5 star... but talking to 3 agents on when my deposit is gonna come back to me was such a hassle... the ppl at this branch need to LEARN TO LISTEN TO THEIR GUEST FIRST BEFORE OVER TALKING THEM, it comes off really rude, then APOLOGIZE... shows U CARE! I’m not very happy with this location. I rent from you every year for a month. I make my reservations online at least a month ahead of time, I usually have to wait at least close to an hour to be waited on, this time they just sprayed the car off it was filthy so bad inside I couldn’t see out the front window plus it only had less than a quarter of a tank of gas and the change oil light kept coming on. I would think that with a months notice and the time in which I was going to pick the car up it would and should be ready but it never is. I do want to thank Michael Self he was very helpful and cordial to me and knocked some off my total bill to compensate me for my delay and dissatisfaction.S Bowen

Made a reservation online and arrived at 8am to pick it up, only to find there were no cars of the class I requested, and they had to prep another larger car which took 30 minutes. I had to get to work at some point! The last straw is they dont accept debit cards without two utility bills! Like I carry that info around...I ended up choosing to rent a car from Clearwater Toyota. $35 a day, absolutely no hassles, and they pick you up, too.

We had a great price on a car, but we couldnt hire it because apparently all three of us needed a credit card each and driving licences at the station, even when one of us was not present (we did have their licence with us). They stated they wouldve called us earlier but the website didnt allow them to take our number...though they did have our email address. We couldnt hire a car for the week our friend was over from Wales, (UK). Poor service.

Due to two back to back recalls with my car Ive had to rent four vehicles from Enterprise in two different locations. This second time Toyota will have my car from 8 to 9 months. Every car Ive rented from them has been filthy and Ive had to clean them all myself. Lets be clear--people are pigs and they treat rental cars like their pig pens. Compounding the problem is that time is money and when a vehicle is returned to the rental agency they do a light vacuuming, check the dip stick and kick the tires. Its immediately turned back out for rental. Two of the four cars were mechanically unsound and I had to move into others. Renting cars is a high stress business for the agents and customers and I dont see it changing anytime soon. They burn through agents and managers like crazy. The only bright note is that the agents in both locations were courteous and willing to bend over backwards to address my issues. Just recently I had to rent another vehicle for a separate occasion and my son-in-law rented another car from yet another Enterprise in Palm Harbor. Both cars were again really dirty and in my case the Manager took $50 off my bill. Wouldnt it be better to spend the time to prep the car right instead of having to pay back $50 to the unhappy customer. Once Im done with the recall on my Toyota Im done with Enterprise.

I rented a car from the Clearwater Fl. Enterprise store while on vacation and after getting a brief rundown of my rental contract and the attempt to sell me extra damage coverage, I got on the road. After stopping for gas(the car only had 1/4 tank when they gave it to me) I noticed I had been charged for several optional items. I was not informed of any optional items nor of their extra expense, thus making them mandatory, not optional, and when I returned I told them that. The man I spoke with said he would take care of it and fully understood and said that he would send me the email I asked for showing the correct receipt, and then gave me a very rehearsed sounding speech about whether he could count on me for a 5 star review. I told him I wasnt happy about the initial charges so I couldnt make that promise, but that since he took care of the problem(so I thought) then yes Id give 5 stars. He smiled and shook my hand, done deal. Wrong. I got an email 5 minutes later showing the same old receipt, optional charges still included. I called back, and after being put on hold for over 20 minutes after telling them why I was calling, I used my wifes phone to get through immediately and was then told that they were still changing the charges and would send me a corrected email. 5 hours later no email, so I call again, by now quite upset over getting so much run around over a lousy $8 and finally spoke with the original guy who shook my hand and said hed take care of it. I told him he did not, and he said the payment had been released but it would take a few days and I told him thats why I asked for him to clear it up before I left the store so I wouldnt have to be taking care of this over the phone!! Why did he lie to me? Then after I pressed him for some form of documentation that charges were in fact being reversed, he typed up a confusing looking email and sent it to me, showing the charges to be reversed. Well, Ive been home for a week now and no payments have come through, and I now believe I was lied to for a third time. I am absolutely astounded that they would do this all rather than simply return a measly $8 that I was fraudulently charged. I wasnt upset when I first asked them about the charge, but their treatment of me made me very upset. I worked in retail for many years, and let me tell you, giving someone a slick speech and a handshake is not how you earn your 5-star rating, giving actual 5-star worthy service IS. And looking at their other reviews, I found that my encounter was not unique. I am never going back to this location nor will I use Enterprise, and I will let it be known to my friends and family who travel here.

I rent from Enterprise in Clearwater EVERY winter. I was very happy with my Camry and the people at the Enterprise store - no problems!My only suggestion - when I originally got the car - there was a film (perhaps pollen) all over the windows. I was never able to remove it completely - so visibility was hampered. Please be sure car is cleaned entirely!!!Also - Enterprise used to have a policy that I would rent the car for 4 months and as an incentive for long term rental, one would pay less each month. I never had to go back to the rental store during that time. NOW, they no longer have the long-term rental policy AND one MUST go back to the rental store EVERY month to pay, instead of having automatic payment - inconvenient!!!I intend to use the same store next year and hope the car will be completely cleaned and fluids topped up (my washer fluid gave out very early when hardly used - obviously not filled before my renting it).

They treat you good and make up to you when they are late and they are always late. They are overall very good when you get a good deal with Costco then they are good or when they have a weekend special. The people at this branch are usually pretty nice and they pick you up.

We rent a car from different location & have to switch because of bad odor & cochroach in the car. He (the manager of this location) refused to switch the car for us. So we ended up with this car for the whole week. Bad odor like someone pee inside the car & lots of small cockroaches running inside the car.

Weve found this location to be sub standard. This is my second terrible experience with this location. Today, my insurance adjuster made a reservation for me to pick up a car this evening at 5:00 pm. We called them when we were on our way at 4:30 pm only to be told they do not have a car available. He explained that they have several reservations they dont have cars for and hes sending everyone to another location. We were blown away because he didnt call me. We called him. So apparently, as people show up, they are turned away. This location needs to pull cars from the other location to accmodate their reservations or show cars are unavailable so that reservations cant be made in the first place. My experience at this location has been a huge waste of time. I dont recommend it. Skip it!

Im no prude, but casual conversation between customer and company rep should be profesional. If I was swearing and cursing then fine, but I wasnt. I dont expect to be hearing F bombs while being driven back to your office.
