After my experience today, I had to take time to leave a review. Blew a tire on the interstate AND my car wouldn’t start at the same time. Called my roadside assistance and they sent S&R out to help. Not only were they prompt in arriving, the man who came out was able to jump my car and put on my spare tire. Had me back rolling in no time! Many thanks from Paul (in the 300c). Towed my sons truck cause he forgot to pay his insurance. When they arrived at his work he immediately called and made payment. They wouldnt drop the vehicle and charged $500 tow bill. When we went to get his belongings a shotgun he kept under back seat was gone without a trace. Crooks!

I’ve used this company several times in 3 years and the towing job was very affordable and very quick. However, if at all possible Do Not Use the Mechanic side of this company!! Very overpriced and Very short warranty on their Repairs.

They were busy so it took an hour and a half. Driver was helpful and tried to jump my vehicle in an attempt to prevent me from having to tow it. I asked him to lock it up for me once he dropped it off, he forgot to do that.

I had occasion to use this business three times in the last couple of weeks. It was introduced to me through Better World Auto Club in a time of need, but I used it subsequently by choice. The owner, whose name I dont recall, showed up first, and said he had to leave because hed been called out by a state trooper for an interstate accident, but said he was sending another driver. He took the time to pull in, talk to me and look briefly under the hood of my vehicle, which the manager of the Meineke shop I was stranded in declined to walk 30 feet to do. His next driver, Tony, showed up promptly, and was quick, friendly and helpful. I had to have the vehicle towed twice more, and used S & R. Tony showed up both other times. Hes awesome...totally fast and helpful, and so sweet. Id recommend this service to anyone in need of a tow. Thanks so much, S & R!!!!!

We were stranded in Indiana for thanksgiving so had to call for a tow through my insurance company. To begin, the man showed later than the ETA through my insurance company (no big deal...we were patient). He immediately backed up to the incorrect vehicle and when corrected started (this man had no talking voice...just a loud yell for a voice) hollering about how he couldn’t make it down the driveway. The men who were with me suggested a way for him to make it down the drive but he insisted on doing what he wanted and pulling down the drive and into my grandparents yard where we told him not to pull all of the wheels into because it’s literally a swamp of a yard. He proceeded to get stuck and rather than calling for help immediately he just gunned it in reverse and proceeded to dig a deeper hole in my grandparents yard. Multiple people showed up to help the man who did this, but another family member of mine showed and pulled the tow truck out. One of the men there got in my car and manually put it in neutral and left it in neutral rather than putting it back in park. They claimed that they called another company(which after waiting 2 hours i learned they did not) and left without offering to pay for damages to my grandparents property. When i contacted my insurance company, they were not contacted with the true reasoning of why my vehicle was not towed. By this point, my insurance quickly assigned a company out of Louisville who arrived in a super timely manner, loaded the vehicle within 10-15 minutes and both talked to me in a professional tone and even contacted me when the vehicle was dropped at the dealerships shop. I get people have bad days but the total disregard to their customers and the customers property was just baffling to me. I’m hoping the property damage is corrected as i am in a different state and my grandparents are unable to fix this themselves due to their health conditions. This has been the biggest frustration for me.

Called place to ask for a tow for my vehicle. Lady was real nice told me where one of the drivers was locayed and said when they would arrive. Tony arrived early, he was nice, quick and made sure it was going to the right place. Excellent service.

Called SR shortly after noon today.. I currently have symptoms that correspond with Covid-19 and my car has been in service about 3 weeks now. They quickly made sure to make the situation easy and contactless for their safety and my peace of mind. They picked up my vehicle from service and had it to my driveway within the hour. Was involved in a collision 3/23. Not much that I personally had control with, I believe the police dept contacted this company to tow vehicles.Either way S & R definitely worked with me since my work schedule is a little chaotic. I personally came in 2 times in regards to my vehicle (after hours, your results may vary). Staff were available being it was just after closing time.First time I just really wanted pictures of my vehicle for documentation but informed them there was a firearm in the vehicle and asked if I could take it. The answer was an astounding YES and I understand why. So I took pictures and grabbed my rifle from the trunk.2nd time was for more pictures and taking all of my personal belongings to turn over the vehicle to the the insurance company. Again everyone involved was helpful and supportive of me getting my personal belongings. Even some were asking about the collision.I cant speak for typical roadside assistance but in my case absolute 5 star experience with this company.

Could not have been a better company to call. I broke down down late Saturday night and got a ride to a hotel 8 miles away. When I called for a tow the next day( Sunday) the driver was excellent at communication,He and very helpful. He picked me up from the hotel, brought me back to my car and then to the repair facility. He was courtious, quick, and professional. Thank you S&R towing!

I will only use S&R Towing. The dispatcher was very polite and professional. The driver ( Tony ) was also professional, prompt, and treated my old truck like it just came off the showroom floor. I also want to give a shout out over the pricing, very reasonable. Give them a try and I guarantee you will feel the same way.

If you ever need to deal with a tow company, do not go through this company. This is the worst company I have ever dealt in my entire life. AGAIN VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND HORRIBLE HORRIBLE COMPANY.

What a nightmare. My car was in the middle of the road my lower ball bearing broke on me. My insurance didnt cover a tow so I got whatever was nearby. Queue these guys. I asked them if they know the issue, gave me an educated guess but was wrong. I tell him I just need it towed to Louisville, in front on my sisters place (where my mechanic is located) and that I could not be there, my destination was elsewhere. He tows my car and puts it NEXT TO A FIRE HYDRANT, and where my tail end couldve been hit by oncoming traffic. I tried to dispute it the next day but the manager was being beligerent and, like most wreckers, think they right all the time. DO NOT USE THIS TOWING SERVICE, they do not care about the aftermath.

I had set in a parking lot for about three hours, so after a jump didnt work, it had to be towed. Tony, the tow truck driver, arrived in a fair amount of time. He was very courteous and kind. He had to help me up into his truck and out of it later. He put the car exactly where the repair place wanted it. He even told me what the problem sounded like, which agreed with the guy who jumped my car. Tony is very professional and capable. Thanks for sending him!

Waited on a tow and the company never arrived . Stated they tried calling me. That never happened. State farm contacted them directly and they said they were at the location waiting for me. Instead of stating that they were trying to find my car, they cancelled the tow. I waited almost 2 hours on a tow in the cold weather and had to wait on an additional tow truck company to come and get me.

The gentlemen who towed my car was very courteous and quick about getting it to my destination. He was very friendly so hopefully That means his company encourages their employees to treat all their customers that way. Would use them again!!

When I called to complain about how they left the car in a dangerous place they were very rude. Do not trust this company. Tow isnt known for the best customer service, but at this point in time I would say they are incompetent.

My insurance company dispatched S&R to assist me when I needed Roadside Assistance in the middle of the night. The estimated arrival time was about 40 mins, they arrived 19 mins after they were dispatched! The driver was amazingly friendly and super quick. If I’m ever in need of a tow I will definitely be calling S&R!!!!!

We were matched up with S&R Towing tonight through our roadside assistance program. The driver that assisted us (unfortunately I cant remember his name) was very friendly, professional and fast. He was able to get the truck in neutral which we didnt know how to do, and get us out of the Zesto drive-thru quickly which Im sure the business owners/managers appreciated. We couldnt have asked for better, more friendly service!

My sole business and experience with this company has been from requesting tows for the fleet of vehicles that break down for the business I work for. Everytime they are quick, efficient and reliable. The pricing they charge is fair, and they take care of the cargo. They are a local business, and therefor, from my experince, deserve anyone whos vehicle broke down, or needs to be towed business.

Efficient. Good communication. Tony was great. And he followed up with a call to let us know vehicle made it to its destination. Safe and sound.

Will never use them again. Insurance company contacted them to have vehicle towed. Driver was able to put vehicle into neutral, but the emergency brake was stuck on (it is electronic) and said it needed a dolly, then drove off. He told me my roadside assistance will contact me with an ETA. I waited about 5 minutes and called roadside assistance to make sure there wasnt any miscommunication. They told me that he completed the call and didnt tell them to send out another truck. If I took him at his word, no telling how long I would be waiting for absolutely nothing. I am currently waiting another 90 mins for another company (on top of the 45 mins I waited for S&R).Update: So the second company managed to get my jeep on their flatbed WITH NO ISSUE. There wasnt even any need for special equipment. Took maybe 5 mins. The man from S&R was either lazy or incompetent. But 4 hours total of my day has been wasted.

I would give zero stars if it were an option. They never contacted me regarding my tow (I went through my insurance company) so I had to call them first, and after discussing what was up with my vehicle, and that I had fixed it, but still wanted a tow, they called my insurance company and cancelled the tow. So I had to start the process over, and come 9:30pm (20 minutes later than the ETA they gave my insurance company) I called them only to find out that they hadnt heard that I still needed a tow. This company left me stuck for almost 4 hours. I ended up having to limp my vehicle home, and cancel the service through my insurance company. They seemed very unorganized, unprofessional, and rude. I got off work at 6pm, and didnt get home until almost midnight. I strongly recommend staying away from this company, if you want to be sure youll get towed in a timely manner.

Left the car in front of a hydrant, and partly sticking out into the road. Got a ticket. They hung up on us when we called to complain.

They were recommended the Honda dealership. Everything was super easy and smooth.

Dont ever let them tow your car. The mechanic, the office told me I will get a new emergency brake handle. To only get a junk yard part that I couldve done myself.The agreement was verbally before and after signing an agreement agreement. They both said yes.I dont know what site on eBay would charge $240 also wanted me to come back to look at the ticket order. This jeep belongs to my wife an Army Veteran! Thanks but no thanks, next time I need a tow I will be telling them how this shop is with customer service. If have USAA and need a tow dont use them and if the break something on your vehicle definitely take it to your shop because they will just get it out of a junk yard. Go to the mechanic you trust and doesnt put junk yard parts on your vehicle.

Saturday, July 21st 2018 around 2:00 am. I left my friends to head home and found my ebrake would not DISENGAGE. After about 30 minutes of working on it (touching things with no luck) I called my insurance, ROOT. Roadside assistance sent S and R Towing. I wish I remembered the young guys name. Mid 20s, white, 58 maybe... it was late. Anyway. Told him the issue and he went a head and hooked up to the front 2 tires to drag the lock rear wheels about 5 or 6 feet then realized he hooked up the wrong side of the car. (no harm no foul...) Got the rear tires up and headed 24.1 miles I believe to my home. The ride felt like it had no hydraulics to speak of. So many hard hits from the road to his truck, I cringed every time! Finally arriving at my home he lowered my car back down where I requested and thought everything was fine. After I woke up and it was daylight outside I immediately noticed one of my lug nuts was off. After looking closer it was actually the LUG STUD BROKE and the nut with it. I guess it can happen. Then in order to fix the ebrake I had to remove both rear tires. I went to loosen the lug nut right next to the broken one and it had no resistance. Spun immediately. Looked at it... guess what. ANOTHER BROKEN LUG STUD with the nut still there. I will attempt to find it and post pictures. I had to pay for this out of pocket $135 for parts and labor. The Claims Adjuster for this case is Tina with Agero Customer Success and her exact words were .Thank you for your time as we worked to resolve this matter. We reviewed all of the provided information regarding your complaint, and did not find sufficient evidence to support the claim that S & R Towing & Recovery Llc caused damage or acted negligently during the service event.Specifically, the reasons behind our denial decision are:The damage is not consistent with tow related damageThe evidence does not support that the provider was negligent or caused any damage during the service. Now I am left to the task of getting 2 or 3 mechanics to validate this is not only a possibility but also likely given the condition of the tow truck used and the technicians actions.I do not believe Anything malicious about this company but I do believe when I break something I should fix it, well I fix it. Now I would like to be reimbursed for the cost.If this matter is resolved both review and stars will be modified.

Worst company I have ever encountered. Very very poor customer service, liers and crooks! I would like to warn anyone and everyone ahead of time to NOT use this company for ANY of their services. They damage and steal from your vehicle when transporting and storing, then they lie about it.. and to top it all off they love to yell and get up in your face. Best of all... they like to walk around shirtless with tattoos and cigarettes in their mouths talking about how your car sounds really good when We revved the motor up and drove it (this was probably when they broke our throttle cable & proceeded to steal our radio out of the vehicle before we could get there in time) If I could give them 0 stars I would. Shame on them, and will be reporting them. Good luck dealing with them..Im just counting down the days until they are out of business and shut down, hopefully that is sooner than later!
