Waiting on an appointment at 1:30 and said I’m responsible to call them during my appointment time but no one is picking up. Just saying their lines are busy and to call again later. It’s a joke

*update: someone picked up at 2:18 took my basic info to confirm identity, then put me back on hold... Still waiting*I had an appointment over the phone scheduled for 1:45 today. I called in at 1:40 assuming it might take a minute or two to get thru the menu.... Its now 2:10. Im still on hold. I have yet to speak to a person.I have (at the same time on hubbys phone) tried selecting other options, i.e. breastfeeding support, nutrition, nurse, etc) and they all go directly to voicemail.Yall need to get your act together. The office set the time for this appointment, not me, so why is no one available to take my call?Yall need to get your act together.

I had an appointment over the phone (due to covid) and i waited on hold for nearly 40 minutes and then it said “all lines are busy, please call again later.” mind you this is already 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. i then call back at least 8 times for it to continue to say “all lines are busy, please call again later”, no matter what option i used.

To be honest, not even exaggerating, the women here are single handedly responsible for my successful breastfeeding journey. I couldn’t say thank you enough. If you issues with ANYTHING breastfeeding related, I encourage you to speak to them. They are soooo helpful. If I could give 100 stars I would.Thank you again. ❤️

Needed to speak with someone about breastfeeding.. Was gave papers and people i can call but when i call i get a rude person upfront with a matter a fact attitude who wont allow me to speak to anyone until i email over proof which they already have as ive been on wic since the beginning of my pregnancy. I also found out that this office only offers Similac on the wic program... That really shows alot i have NEVER used a Similac product its not up to par with other brands... Ive needed to speak to someone about breastfeeding and they have put me off so now i may have to use formula!! But im not using a Similac product...get better options for the babies

Beautiful, clean, newish space. Separate building to the right after Pageant Lane entrance to (or: on North side of) Veterans Plaza where much of Montgomery Countys public services are located. Next to County Health Department. Ample parking within a short walk. Very efficient and friendly staff. Waiting area is spacious, comfortable, and full of Chili-Dogs of all ages. They even have a small play area for the chilies. Be prepared to invest your time, as you might expect. Waits can be long, and appointment times are effectively placeholders. All in all, great, helpful office.

Terrible experience since my Daughter has turned 1... Like I dont matter, and Im no longer a person who deserves to be treated like I would treat others. Im still a new Mother to all this. They are simply rude, inconsiderate, And never answer their phones. And even when you do show up, theres always a wait of 40 min to 2 hours. Thank Goodness Im a stay at home Mom... But what about those who actually work out side of the house. You should never make us Mothers or single Fathers feel like a bother. Nor make us wait, then treat us like garbage when we have questions or make simple statements regarding issues with said WIC cards.

Most of the staff are nice. Program is good, very helpful. The problem is the wait time at appointments. No one really has time to be at an appointment for 2 -4 hours. Its just crazy. A better system needs to be in place

Not the place I want to spend half my day at with two little kids! Some of the workers seemed annoyed by children, which is off putting. I do like the ladies who work with the breast feeding clinincs. They are wonderful and always helpful and friendly.

Ive been trying to reach someone for an appointment for over a week now and cant never get anyone to answer the phone...its really aggravating and when I do get up with someone, Im either on hold forever or constantly getting switched to someone else. It is a nice location and a nice clean building, but have only dealt with the staff once and it was a good experience. I wish they would allow you to set up an appointment online.

This facility needs a lot of work. Some of their staff also needs to be replaced. They are rude, inconsiderate, and slow working. I have been on the phone for the 20 minutes now, on hold. The phone has rang 4 times since Ive tried to start this call and every time someone picks up to put me on hold .This is ridiculous. I just need to make an appointment. Plus when you get to the office the lady giving the vouchers is ALWAYS rude and talks to everyone as if they are stupid. Someone get a hold of this.

Office is new and updated. It is open and bright in the waiting area..and it is always clean! The staff has always treated me with courtesy and respect.. they have loved my child and cared for his wellness also. Millie is magnificent! (Besos to you mami! 😍😘)Yes, there is a longer than desirable wait.. remember the staff is doing the best they can. Please keep in mind: this is a government program. The process takes so long for each appointment due to the checks and balances and each task that must be meticulously completed. Being kind to them takes no effort on our part; and it may benefit us all with greater customer service.

Friendly and helpful. Always be prepared during visits or they may reschedule you since so many people are seen each day. Small play space for little ones. Only downfall is acoustics of the facility and it is sometimes hard to hear your name called but it just requires you to really pay attention to your surroundings.

Two stars off cause the front desk is kinda rude. I was also in a disbelief that in the month of Aug and Sept they were closed for training but left people without an alternative.. what if I was in need of assistance immediately??? I wasnt but some families really depend on them. I just hope in the future they at least have something set up for emergencies... Yall cant keep babies in need. Once I actually went for a visit the staff in the back was VERY nice. I wish I could review them separately but three stars overall.

How is it that for the 3 DAYS that I have been calling, all lines are busy? Everytime I call from when they open at 8 on. One ring, then straight to a recording! Not even able to leave a message, which doesnt matter because they dont get returned anyways (from previous experience). This is seriously ridiculous. Someone needs to come in and get this place right with the front desk staff!

If you arrive early enough the wait isnt too bad. The staff members are wonderful, and Ive never had a problem reaching the office by phone. The people who work here really care.

For as busy as this place is, they stay on top of your scheduled appointment time and get you in and out quickly and so far everyone has been very nice and helpful.

I was a walk in ( had just left the DSHS office down the road)had just moved to the area 2 days before hand and wanted info i would need since i was a 1 year old and expecting. The lady i talked with was rude and seemed to not want to even be there. She seemed to get even more angry when i stated i had no bills in my name to match the address...again i told her we had only been here for two days. I was given paper work and told to leave and call to make an apt when i had everything i needed. I finally have everything but been calling since 9 and still get the busy signal. Its kinda sad since i come from a very small town and the wic office there was busy yet every time you called someone picked up and it only took two days to get everything set up.

Everytime I call with a SIMPLE question, I’m on hold for 10+ mins before someone even decides to ask my reason. And I hear them pick up just to put me on hold again. Seriously?! One woman told me she needed to “get to her desk” another told me she “didn’t have the program pulled up” so I had to wait til someone else picked up.

I nevergot benefits during my whole pregnancy they told me to contact them and my baby was born into the world I called when I was in the hospital and I was still set back because they were transferring from paper checks to the car that was their excuse for 5 almost 6 months.. can never get an appt

The staff is always so helpful . the wait can be long but it can also be really quick Ive always been the one who was late to appt or didnt bring something and they still help you Im sure they dont enjoy it but they deal with it and the fact that they are one,of the main reasons my baby was able to eat and be healthy just tops it all off thank you

I have NEVER seen such a Slow working business like this one . Two people in lobby, 1 person at. 6 window. People talking in the back . 2 hour wait for them to change to a different type of Milk . I need a job here . No one works . They have lunch BEFORE going to lunch

The staff here is very helpful and respectful. The breastfeeding counselor is amazing I will recommend all new breastfeeding moms like myself to go to the WIC office and ask for her if your struggling

Horrible service. Not even worth dealing with to get the WIC benefits. Takes an hour on hold on the phone to talk to someone, then another 2 months to get an appointment, and finally youll get denied benefits because you didnt bring the right info that they failed to even tell you about.

Been trying to call for three days to schedule an appointment and it is constantly saying all lines are busy now . Did you guys change your number or something ? Cant even get nutrition or breast feeding counselor on the line. UPDATE: so I finally got someone on the line a week and half ago and was told they have no appointments and to just come in and I can be seen since it was just with a nutritionist. So Im here today and the receptionist does nothing but give me a hard time about trying to be seen . So I tried to schedule an appointment for a day they had available band she tells me they no longer take appointments and yet gives me a hard time about waiting today to be seen. Yall need to figure out something. I was not even rude and I was patient.

Long waits, the process of being pulled back 3 different times is hard for moms with kids to deal with and is inconvenient and inefficient. Wish they would get rid of coupons, its like the old days with food stamps. Need a card like EBT for food stamps.

They are rude and don’t answer the phone. I was on hold for 30 minutes and never talked to anyone. I hung up and called again they hung up on me. I called again and was put on hold and was hung up on. I called back and the automated system said they weren’t available.. terrible I had better wic services in Texas.

The wait time is ridiculous! I waited 3 hours just to be seen by a nurse! The majority of them are in the back just standing around talking about people! The staff is very rude and treat you as if theyre doing you a favor. Especially the black woman at window one. She acts so entitled like its not her job to do this. Like, if you dont like your job or helping people you shouldnt have applied to work at a WIC office!! They have you sitting for 30 minutes to over an hour, then when you finally get seen, they try and rush you like cattle. Coming here is by far worse than ANY DMV!Lbvs

Called to get my wic transfered was put on hold then the phone hung up called back again and was put back on hold and the call hung up this happened repeatedly! Called again then the phone was picked up and just placed back on hold !
