Unbelievable experience with the Daniel the Plumber he was the fourth person to look for a gas leak at our home. 3 other plumbers came and couldnt find a leak. Others thought they corrected it but only a portion of it. When I told Daniel we had smelled more gas in a crawl space we didnt know about his look on his face was priceless as he barely could squeeze into it. Daniel crawled into a very small area to look for a leak. After not much found so his was determined to find it the problem He came back with his supervisor and did a gas line pressure test, within minutes the leak was found underground with a 4 in gap. Unreal the house could have exploded from it and we would have died, Daniel said he wasnt leaving until the house was safe and secure. Even missed a daughters birthday to make sure we were all safe and rearranged his entire day to make sure it was done. I admire a person with integrity who did not stop until the leak was found. He actually found 4 leaks inside too all were fixed. I would give him a 10 stars if that was an option. Thank you Daniel for your ethics. And my son Daniel to be persistent to find the smell that lead to the long awaited leaked to be fixed. Thank you. I am counting my blessings

This is the fourth time I have used AZ Best. This was for an urgent situation where my water softener broke and this then messed up my entire plumbing including the water heater. Chris came out the same day and assessed the situation, gave me some bad news, and we then agreed to replace the water heater and softener. Every one I have talked to in this company have been very helpful including the office. Chris first came to look at my water heater and to give an estimate for a new one and installed the new one today. Ive used AZ Best Plumbing twice and wont use them again. I called them out for three items; two of the items appear to be done properly. The third item wasnt. The panelling in my den began to buckle from water damage and exterior damage occurred along the slab line. The plumber they sent said the leak was from the roof. He took a cursory glance at the hose bib connection in the wall of the den and said there was no evidence of water and there is no leak. I subsequently called Goettls High Desert Mechanical, who sent a plumber the next day who first thought it was a roof leak but took the time to climb onto the roof. When he saw nothing, he carefully examined the exterior damage and saw a bit of water. When he looked inside the wall just as the other plumber did, he found a leak and a significant amount of water. When I called AZ Best and complained about their plumbers failure to find the leak, I was told the supervisor would call me back later in the day. I did not receive a call back.Update: I did receive a call back a few days later. The woman I talked to was pleasant, apologized, and offered me a 20% refund. I appreciate the effort made by AZ Best Plumbing.

Company was hired to locate a sewer cleanout and trace water line and sewer line to the street. Technician could not locate the water line and only partially located the sewer line. Technician improperly located new cleanout in horizontal interior sewer line and was unable to trace remaining line to the street. I was given an option of paying an additional $1200 to dig up exterior sewer line and install new exterior cleanout. I chose to bring in another private utility locator to try trace the sewer line from the improperly installed interior horizontal cleanout to the street. The private utility company was unable to trace their rooter line beyond the first 90 degree bend in the horizontal sewer line. Nevertheless, I was charged close to $600 for no complete results. Im not happy!

Very impressed with service and professionalism. Vincent was really pleasant. He explained what he was doing and why he thought the burst lines occurred. As it turned out, there were some issues he found that I need to address with my insurance company. As soon as that is taken care of, I will be calling AZ Best back out to deal with those issues. As a relatively new resident in the Sedona area, I have learned that it’s really challenging to find home service providers and independent tradespeople who return calls, show up and follow up as if new customers are needed and valued. They are in high demand, understaffed, overbooked and tend to be overpriced. They can pick and choose.AZ Best Plumbing is in the same boat. The cost was hefty, and there may have been other providers who were less expensive . But AZ Best called back, showed up, and earned my trust after several others who didn’t.The job they did connecting my property into city sewer and decommissioning my septic system was excellent, especially given that they had to fix the shoddy work done by a provider who had started 15+ years ago. It took a few days longer than anticipated, but I chalk this up to the nature of the work and the state of affairs in Sedona.I have to praise Jacob, who did the work of estimator, foreman, laborer, subcontractor, permit wrangler, and point of contact throughout. Despite being pulled away for emergencies and handling other jobs, I am 100% confident that his full attention while onsite and oversight of all the details kept me from having additional and unnecessary work done and helped keep costs to the estimate.Normally I wouldn’t write much about this sort of thing, but anyone reading is likely looking for excellent customer service and a trustworthy company. I’d say go with AZ Best.

Installed whole house water filter and water softener. The install looks great and works great.

The appointment had been scheduled for the 23rd of December a week in advance. The technician did not arrive at the scheduled time. We called the office to schedule a technician for the next morning, but Amanda had decided to have the work done for us the following week. We stated that we could not accept that logic, because replacing the kitchen faucet under those circumstances would leave us waiting for another week. Amanda became very rude and said she had no one else to do the work.Shortly thereafter Estelle called and said that a technician (Daniel) would arrive at 10 Oclock A.M.on the 24th of December. We accepted that offer. Daniel arrived at 9:30, and begin immediately. He finished the job after about 1 1/2 hours. He was very polite, knowledgeable, and quite professional.Thanks Daniel and Estelle.

We truly appreciate your service. Scheduled on a weekday for the first available appointment on a Sunday am was extremely important with guests arriving on Saturday. And with no exorbitant fees for a weekend call - very nice surprise. Only thing keeping you from a full 5 star rating is the fact our issue wasnt fixed on Sunday. On the second visit on Wednesday, (with all of us - homeowners and guests - sharing one bathroom . . . not ideal by any stretch) our issue was easily repaired. Our question, why not on Sunday ?We would definitely call you again and recommend your company. Just would have been a higher rating if fixed in one service call. Thank you.

Where do I even begin? Amanda was super helpful on a Friday night when I was having an issue, scheduled me for as soon as she could, even called me when they had a cancellation and they could come sooner. On the day of the service, Josh was right on time and incredibly helpful and professional and courteous and had a fix that I had not thought of which saved me a bunch of money. They are just awesome, I cant say enough.

Don’t count on these guys. Made an appointment and waited on them to show up to fix a leaking water heater that’s two years old. A unit that they sold and installed, but now claim that the address is out of their service area. They and the property are both located in Sedona. They canceled during the appointment time. Totally unprofessional and wasted my time.

I called and they came to check the problem the same day and came back to replace the hot water heater the very next day. This was a water heater at my elderly mothers house. They were responsive and on time. Price might have been a bit high but had to bring everything up to code as well since it was very old.

My water heater went out and they send someone that same day. He was very informative, respectful and friendly. My water heater was fixed same day. Totally would recommend this company!

We needed a service call to check a water softener system. Our tech, Eric, texted when he was on his way and took time to really look at our system, explain how it was working, and made some changes to improve it. VERY happy with the service

I had AZ Best Plumbing come to my townhouse to correct work an unlicensed contractor did on a major remodel of my home a year ago. Most of the plumbing had been done by the contractors crew, which, the contractor assured me was routine work for them. The work they did was substandard, I had plumbing problems on and off for almost a year, and then it became obvious that the work had to be redone, but I didnt know where to start. I checked out AZ Best, sat down with them, and they walked me through the estimate so that I understood the scope of repair. We looked at the existing work and AZ Best showed me exactly what had been done incorrectly. Then, AZ Best was able to fit me in quickly, given that I had gone without hot water for more than a week (thank you neighbors). AZ Best had to put in a new tankless water heater (including install of a recirculation pump the former contractor never bothered to install or tell me about, redo ridiculous overkill venting out through the top of the utility closet and replumb piping to/from the tankless, including an appropriate gas line). I was never able to take a hot bath in the main level BA, and it turns out the former contractor put a valve in upside down. Really? AZ Best also fixed some other errors in plumbing. Im so glad I went with AZ Best. Great duo (Erik and Chris) completed the work in a full day. Super hard workers. Meticulous. Explained how things work. Left everything clean. It looks like a professional job now. I have near instant hot water. Next year Ill have AZ Best install a water softener. When I consider the former contractors work, it looks like a child installed everything. AZ Best really is the best. Moral of my story: if someone tells me (or you, the reader) they know plumbing but they arent licensed, Ill run from them as fast as I can! You should too!!!

Im very happy with the work performed by AZ Best.I had a below ground pressure regulator and a water shut off valve installed. Reuben was at my home right on time. He went over with me just what he was going to do and presented me with a quote, which I approved. He immediately began work and finished the job even though it was raining for about half the time he was working. Very friendly and capable person. AZ Best was 30 minutes late but I was texted when the plumber was leaving for my house. The plumber, Ruben, did a very good job installing my pre-purchased new Kohler bar sink faucet, answered all of my questions and wore a mask, THANK YOU! However I felt there was a bit of farming for new things to fix, which of course he found. The estimate for the needed fixes was $937, but I dont have that kind of money after spending over $420 for the new faucet and installation plus Christmas expenses. So it will have to wait.
