My experience was amazing. The staff was super friendly. The doctor explanation was very thorough and my dog received excellent quick care. I definitely would recommend them to everyone with pets.

Even with the COVID protocols, they made sure to make it a personal experience by bring me the X-rays of my babes broken shoulder. They went over pricing prior to conducting any decisions to ensure it wasn’t an issue. I loved the customer service and would definitely go back if the need arises.

They were quick and efficient and triaged her correctly to get her seen sooner than we thought. Didn’t over charge us and got her in and out in a timely manner while providing great care. Highly recommend for any emergency care.

Holly!!! She is an angel! She explained everything so well and helped me weigh my options with treatment. You’d expect to pay more with an emergency room situation but nothing was charged without an explanation and MORE options. To top it all off she brought my pup back with a wagging tail. You hope to never need an ER but I am so glad to know this place and HOLLY!!! are around!

We had to quickly see a vet after our pup seemed off over a weekend and late in the evening when he seemed to take a turn for the worse. Thankfully Nashville Vet Specialists were open. I checked in online to save a spot and was off to the facility. They got us in with minimal wait, informed us of possible waiting period, was extremely friendly under the circumstances, and overall was such an amazing experience. The vet that continued to keep me update on our dog was so understanding, nonjudgmental and gave us options when it came to financial restraints and were realistic in approaching what expectations could be. Everyone I spoke with really made me feel like they cared for us and about our pup. I would highly recommend you this place to anyone in search of immediate or urgent care for their pets.

My personal experience they where extremely nice and humble people to deal with and extremely professional! Your pet/animal is there number one priority and concern! Keep your patience, you will need it because they are very thorough with there exams on your pet/animal.. For an emergency facility they have it together and are running a tight ship!My deepest apologies to the staff for being so rude to them while I was freaking out!! Thank you for everything!!

We rushed our 10 week old puppy in for some stomach issues, Dr Connor and Dr Bennett were great with communicating! All the staff is fantastic, they made sure to give us all the options, we did opt to take her back to her normal vet for a second opinion, NVS thought it was a blockage because her intestines were dilated, our primary diagnosed her with a parasite and worms after a fecal was done which was the cause for inflammation. They did take excellent care of her while she was with them and kept her hydrated. I was not able to go back with her but trusted that she would be in good hands. I would bring my dogs back here again.

Took our puppy in because she had some food stuck in her esophagus. I showed up early on a Sunday morning and she was back home with us that evening. I did the registration from the parking lot right on my phone. The staff and Veterinarians there are so professional, personable and understanding. I highly recommend Nashville Vet Specialists if your pet has an emergency.

Last night we had to put our beloved Cat Spaz down to cross over The Rainbow Bridge. We never went to NVS in the past. They were so amazing, professional, caring and very sensitive to our situation. With no hesitation they all were compassionate and took care of us during this difficult time. Never a good time to take a pet to the animal hospital, but our experience was a good one. Wait times are to be expected, but shouldnt be a big negative. Staff was courteous, understanding, professional and delivered detailed briefs. Our family is very appreciative of this.

Our dog was attacked by another dog in our own yard and I called this facility to get advise on bringing her in. They were so super nice and took such great care of our dog when we got her there. Although we had to stay outside in our car, they called several times updating us on what they were doing and how our dog was. They were able to turn a scary event around and make us feel at ease.

Despite getting bad news about my cat Peaches and now having to face possible decision to euthanize if no improvement, this was an amazing visit. Dr. S is great. She is so compassionate, knowledgeable and friendly and I can tell she truly loves animals. The tech was also amazing. She was knowledgeable and caring and so good to my Peaches. I feel while I was not with her, she received amazing care and maybe a snuggle or two. And, despite getting bad news, it was great to finally have answers we have been searching for the last 4 to 5 months as she continued to decline with no diagnosis. Definitely recommend!

I highly recommend this emergency veterinary clinic. They were friendly, quick and most importantly welcoming to any dog regardless if they were a patient there or not. We arrived with our dog who had swallowed a fish hook and we were in and out in under an hour. The staff was awesome - can’t thank them enough!

I had an emergency with my puppy and they were able to see him right away! The clinic was nice and clean and offered an abundant of waiting areas that were socially distanced. The vet and the staff kept me informed about my pup every step of the way and I really liked that. Thank you! My puppy is feeling so much better.

Saw my dog during an emergency on Labor Day weekend. They were prompt, courteous… Answered my many questions, and kept me informed on my dogs condition. Although they were very busy, they did get my dog in earlier than originally planned (When I called in the morning, the approximate wait time was 10 to 12 hours). We understood that there were sicker animals than ours, and as it is an “emergency room” people have to understand that “worst is first“. So happy to have this service in Clarksville. It’s one of those businesses where you hope you never need it, but when you do you are thankful that they are there. A huge thank you to the staff for taking such excellent care of my furry family member, and nursing her so gently back to health.

Last night, we had to visit this vet office unexpectedly. I had never been there before and they took such great care of us. From the start, Katie at the front desk was so nice and professional. Emily was our tech and I was so worried about my dog that she rushed out to talk and reassure me. Emily kept me informed the entire time. Dr. Bennett ordered appropriate tests and did a very thorough examination. Ultimately, my sweet Baby Girl had a condition that would have made her life very difficult and painful and we made the very difficult decision to compassionately let her go. Emily, Katie and Dr. Bennett were amazing through the process. They have a special room that was very soothing and they allowed me to spend as much time with her as I needed. Dr. Bennett explained everything to me before she did it and while she was doing it. I could not have asked for better support.Dr. Bennett, Emily and Katie were amazing and I highly recommend this vet office.

Unfortunately we’ve had several visits to this location for various issues with both dogs. I am so happy that this has opened up ! We were previously traveling to the Nashville location which is quite a drive from Clarksville. This location provides the same great care, they have taken great care of both dogs each time we have been there, and treat us very well!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this ER. The service, the attention to detail, the empathy of the entire staff regardless of the issue, the way they handle the bill, etc. is better than any ER I’ve ever been to (in animal rescue and owning several dogs myself, I’ve been to plenty). The lobby and exam rooms were impeccably clean, the receptionist was beyond professional, and the entire staff was on their toes-ready for anything both times I went. As long as I’m in the area this is where I’ll be taking my animals in an emergency. 5+ stars, hands down. These people save lives.

Last night my mother took her sick cat to this place due to our local vet being closed for the day. She got there at 6pm and was made to wait in her car until 10 p.m (with her sick cat).When she was finally able to be seen, they told her the cat possibly had pancreatitis. My mom told them to treat him. They said they would, and that it would cost $750 (up front) for that treatment.After the treatment, they wanted to keep him overnight and run some more tests. This overnight treatment would cost an additional $750. ($1500 so far)At 8am this morning, mom was expecting to pick up her cat and follow up with the our veterinarian. The new staff had taken over, and the new veterinarian was very up front with her, telling her that the cat had fatty liver disease and his prognosis was very grim. Mom had no choice but to humanely put him down. (She was distraught and wasnt expecting this news)THEN they asked for ANOTHER $77 to euthanize her cat. They continued to nickel and dime her by trying to sell her an urn, even after making such a hard, unexpected decision!Whoever worked last night should be ASHAMED of themselves.AVOID THIS HOSPITAL AT ALL COSTS!!!

I would definitely trust them with my baby again. I came in with an emergency due to the fact that my dog had been brutally attacked by another dog. I was hesitant at first because I was only in Tennessee for vacation. They treated her (my dog) very gently and were so considerate to me as well considering how stressed I was. I would highly recommend their services to anyone local OR traveling. All of the staff were very kind and pro-active in making sure we were taken care of.

Everyone we spoke with that weekend was super nice, informative and listened to our concerns. They gave us options how to continue with further treatment and observation, along with the costs involved with each option. I felt Charlie was in great hands. Extra benefit was military discount! I would not hesitate to bring my cats there if need be.

On Sept. 6 around midnight, I called the Clarksville, TN site for emergency medical care: my dog ear was ripped and dangling after another dog attacked her. The tech provided details about the possible cost and wait time (6 patients were already waiting). Received a phone call and text message about four hours later (like waiting in a human emergency room). After my dog checked in and examined, Dr. Gibson phoned me explaining medical options; he answered all my questions in a professional, polite manner. I had a very good experience; as for my dog, she arrived growling and left calm ( probably was the meds she received). Thank you, Dr. Gibson.

Our Border Collie Lady suffered a stroke Saturday night. We called Nashville Vet Services and rushed her there to get treatment. Unfortunately we had to accept the outcome of having to put her to sleep. Lady was 15 yrs. 9 mos. old and she has had a wonderful life with us. She offered us her unconditional love whether we had a hard day or not. I just want to say Thank You to Dr. Claire Bennett and the staff for their response and handling of our Lady making her comfortable. Their kindness and compassion was appreciated more than you will ever know! Thank you too for preparing Lady to take her home. She is buried alongside our cat Daisy.

Very kind and friendly and explained everything well. My cat loved them and I felt safe leaving my cat with them. Hopefully I won’t need these emergency services again but if I do this will be the place I take them! Highly recommend!

Sarah and Dr. Bennett were fantastic when we came in with our stable pup for urinary issues. Our original technician was Emily, but she wasn’t able to give me much information or answer my questions/concerns. Sarah was able to help much more so we’re thankful she could step in. There were lots of other very sick pets so our wait was long but we were absolutely fine with waiting since our pet wasn’t in critical condition and was safe to wait. They kept him comfy and let us pay a deposit and go home while they worked which was nice. We got exactly what we needed by seeing them and the price was very good, especially with the military discount. We appreciate having a place to go after hours and especially with such a kind and competent staff like Sarah and Dr. Bennett. Hopefully we never need your services again, but we will certainly use them if the situation arises.

Great service, just a lot of miscommunications from the staffs. I Called prior to getting seen and was told told to head over. I waited for about an 1.5 hours before a nurse came out to tel me that I could go home first and they will call me in a few hours once they are ready… the full experience could’ve been better if the communication was more direct.

We went with my Murphy at 230 AM the other night, and they understood our financual needs and were willing to work with us on our pet. He is still not feeling 100%, but thanks to them he isnt dead and I cant thank them enough. We move day by day and are able to because of them. Thank you ❤

We had an emergency situation with my oldest 10 year old dachshund. He was suddenly severely bloated and having trouble breathing. We called Nashville Vet in Clarksville and they were so quick, kind and calm in getting us in as soon as possible. We had never been there before and everything was so simple. I liked that there was no paperwork because they text you a form to fill out online while you wait. They took care of my baby and everyone loved on him with every interaction. I’m so glad they are here. Thank you!

The staff and Doctor was amazing. They explained what was happening with our pup. Had to make the hard decision to let him go but they are very professional and sincere in letting us spend him with our fur baby before we had to let him go..

So I will start this out by saying that when this is your only option, it’s your only option. Off hours and holidays this clinic is open to intake patients which is nice. Keeping this in mind, I understand the need to triage patients according to level of care required. The problem I have is with the communication throughout the experience I had.We brought our 6yo Cat in to be evaluated after a rapid change in behavior and no fluid or food intake. He was dropped off at 10am which was prompt and courteous. Basically a “we will call you after we examine him and let you know the next steps”. I called for updates throughout the day and was told, “We will call you after he gets examined”. He was not examined until 1130pm. Now being that this is a 24hour clinic, I had spoken with someone earlier to ensure that once he was examined, I would get an update and we could move on from there and was assured he would stay the night and I could pick him up in the morning. They did not have a diagnosis for his condition, and basically said he has inflammation and signs of infection but we can’t determine where. Afterwards they said “He’s ready to be picked up”. At 1130pm. On a normal school/workday. I said whatever, he should be home with family and it’s a 10 minute drive to get him. No worries. I didn’t receive him from the clinic until after 1am, and that was after I went inside to find out what was taking so long.The cat is at our normal vet in Sango now and I was given an accurate timeline to pick him up before he even left the car. I think unless it’s life or death, from now on we’ll stick with the normal vet.TL;DR: Our cat stayed here for 12 hours with no solid diagnosis, or communication. I’m out 650$, and I didn’t get any sleep before work the next day due to miscommunication from the nurses.

Arthur Geronimo was so helpful and very knowledgeable. He was very quick, timely and responsive when attending to my puppy. While I was waiting Annie Morahan kept me calm and level headed. She was so kind. I do not know what I would have done without them. Thank you VCA for helping my puppy!!

My cat had convulsions, and clearly was in distress, and we became scared that something serious was going on, as she usually is quite a healthy, and happy cat.So, since it was late at night I had gone online to search for any option I could find.There I found that the Nashville Vet Specialist Clinic was open all night, and I made a call.It’s an easy online process to register ones animal beforehand, and explain the symptoms.Then almost immediately after the data was put in, I got a call from the clinic, to confirm that I could bring the cat in to them clinic.The staff was wonderful, and ran all necessary tests I feel, for diagnosis.They kept me in the loop on every single detail of the treatment, and she was doing :)And even though they were rather busy that night, and told me that it could take a little longer as they had some more acute cases, it was not long at all. I was relieved, when I got my car back, and she got the treatment she needed, as well as I myself slept better that night knowing that I will wake up to a living cat.I told the ladies that I was used to the regular emergency room having raised six kids, but that it was a new, and great experience with them going to an animal emergency room 😊I will always go back if the need shall come up.👍

My dog ate some Popeyes chicken; bones and all. I was referred by my vet since it was Sunday and they were closed. All the employees were very nice. They communicated great. My dog ended up ok. Thanks for your help!!

Had a very nice visit even though I received bad news. Dr. Stegeman and her LVT Shaina were so sweet and very professional. I would recommend them to anyone who is needing a further diagnosis on their animals.

We were absolutely amazed by the care our fur baby received at Nashville Vet Specialists! We had our dog spayed at another vet clinic in town and after 4 days she started seeping blood and fluid from her incision. To say the least we were scared and concerned so we rushed her to the NVS in Clarksville at 8pm and they attended to us swiftly and communicated well with us throughout our wait and visit.Ultimately, their team gave us peace of mind that she was going to be okay and also sent us home with ample medications and knowledge to ensure our fur baby healed fully.10/10 recommend their team and their service! I hope we never have to return for an emergency, but if we do, we will do so knowing our fur babies are in good hands.

I took my dog in at midnight after an allergic reaction and they were amazing. They were so kind and gentle. On top of it all it cost far less than I expected it to.

Dr. Streppa helped our pet walk normal again. She is an outstanding veterinarian and person. Dr. Streppa explained everything in a language we could understand and showed genuine caring for our pet.

Very friendly staff and doctor. The Veterinarian was very patient and kind talking to my fiancé and myself to make sure we understood and were comfortable about the care of our pet.

The Clinic was excellent. The people working there from the Vet tech to the Veterinary was awesome. The fee was a little steep but it had to be done. Would I go back there for a specialist, absolutely.

Very unprofessional staff. Got extremely upset while asking questions after refusing to treat my puppy. They denied services to my sick puppy, but demand that I sign something stating in taking dog home against doctors order. I WILL NOT SIGN SUCH NO DOCUMENT LIKE THAT!! You denied treatment to puppy after consultation and X-ray for no apparent reasoning. I MUST SAY if something is to happen to my puppy I will hold NVSC RESPONSIBLE TO FULLY.

I took my miniature doberman pincher here 2 months ago. After taking him to our own vet because he was throwing up, not eating, being lethargic, etc... He was not getting any better. I chose the ER animal clinic because it was about 8 pm when I registered him to be seen and because they took care here credit. They did not text me until 1130 to come in and I was instructed to sit and wait in my car, which I didnt like. My dog has never been sick before so this was new to the both of us and I would rather have been there with him to comfort him and made sure the doctors were treating him fairly. At about 2 am they told me my dog was in liver failure and suggested him to stay over night, or put him down, but that would have been even more money, which this particular vet ER is twice as much as a regular Vet clinic. I took the route of taking the medicine home and dealing with it at home, I was not going to put my dog down! He still wanted to live and I was not giving up until he did. A couple days later he began throwing up again and when I called them back, it was too late for me to come back in and not be charged for another clinic visit. Once Again, they suggest I put my dog down! I was furious! I told them Hell No that was not happening my dog wants to live and yall are not giving him that chance! I searched for other vets that day that took care here credit and I ended up going to St. Bethlehem animal clinic on Warfield. They Were on the same page as me. They sent me home with nausea pills, I.V. fluids, feeding syringe, and another month of liver pills. They even did x rays to make sure there was no blockage, which the vet ER wouldnt do for me because they insisted he was too far gone for it to matter. SO, the reason I waited until now to write my review is because I waited for my dog to get off his liver meds. My dog Is the best dog weve had. He has so many friends that love him and family and he protects every child he meets like it was one of the pack. I nursed my dog back to health! With thanks to St. Bethlehem Animal clinic! No thanks to Nashville Vet E.R. who wanted me to just kill my dog! I took my dog to get his liver levels checked monday after 2 months of liver medication, antibiotics, I.V. fluids, love &care,... And his liver levels were back to normal! If I could give this E.R. vet ZERO stars, I would!!!!! They wanted me to put my baby, my best friend down and lo and behold he has many years left of his life to Live!!! Hes only 4 years old!!! We are currently new patients at St. Bethlehem animal clinic and will never be going back to the Vet ER for a situation like this.

I’ve never been to this place before today.. I’ve had my cat since I was 5 1/2 years old and he’s always been my baby even if he was 15! He recently got sick and I decided today he needed a vet. Well I called them hysterical and no clue what to do and they got me in right away. About 30-45 minutes (probably shorter but it felt like 5 years had passed) later they called me and told me all my options. They even let me hang up to decide on what I wanted to do. Unfortunately I had to put my baby down today. But This staff was amazing and helped me through all of it. I had my mom there as well but I don’t think I could have asked for a better staff or team to help me send my baby over the rainbow bridge. I would 100% recommend them!

I had an emergency with my 10 week old puppy and the staff was great. They really made me feel comforted as a new worried doggie mom. I am really impressed with them and will definitely recommend them to everyone.

The staff here was very kind and sympathetic. I had my Husky euthanized here last weekend and they allowed me to bring my other Husky in so they could be together in her last moments. I was a complete mess but the staff gave me plenty of time to spend with her and they made sure she was comfortable while we said goodbye.

My dog was diagnosed with IMHA (auto immune anemia) in May. He needed a blood transfusion and had to stay overnight for it.We have been seen there a lot of times since than and are more than happy with all the staff. They are knowledgeable and super nice! I would definitely recommend NVA

We brought our old girl, Maggie, in one weekday evening for an emergency visit. The vet techs were so kind and caring when carrying her in - COVID regulations prevented us from coming in at the time. The vets were wonderful about calling with a preliminary plan and called multiple times overnight to give an update on her status and any plan changes. Ultimately we lost our girl to her cancer, but these people at this clinic helped ease her pain and ours as well. They were so kind and gave us time to say our goodbyes. I will never forget the kindness they showed to us or my girl.

Our chihuahua swallowed a chicken bone in a second. She felt fine but we went to the clinic, X-ray showed it was stuck in her esophagus. The vet came quickly even though they werent on call. The nurses were so kind and helpful. I trust them with any future needs for my fur babies.

Happy with the service and care that was provided for my cat, Merlin, after taking him in early Sunday morning for what turned out to be a urinal blockage due to crystals. Understandably things get busy at an emergency vet clinic so sometimes updates were a bit slow but every time I called they were kind, patient, and compassionate. Even encouraged calling frequently if I so chose, which I appreciated. That kind of encouragement made me feel like my concerns for my cat mattered, and they answered and explained everything patiently, kindly, and with detail. We even discussed various methods to help him improve based on his individual personality, as he was staying there for a couple of days but not improving due to how he is a very nervous kitty in any unfamiliar setting. They did everything they could to clear the blockage, help his recovery, and gave me advice on how to care for him once he was home. Once he was home his behavior and recovery improved instantly so we know we made the best decision. Hes still on the mend but even after being home for a couple of days when I called to ask some questions they were happy to continue to help even after he was no longer a patient there. Thank you for taking such good care of my Merlin.(Pictured is Merlin home barely a couple of hours and he was already back to his affectionate self, ready for pets and cuddles.)

We ended up having to put our dog to sleep but we felt compassion from every single person we dealt with here. We were not rushed with our decision and felt that our dog was in the best possible hands here.

Very compassionate and caring clinic. Staff went above and beyond to try to save our senior Yorkie who was having seizures. He did not live, but their kindness made our tragedy a little easier to accept.

Nashville Vet Specialists were there when we really needed help! Our cat suddenly took a turn for the worse and they were open to treat and care of him. They were so kind, responsive, quick, and very informative. They answered all of my questions and made sure I went home with complete confidence my baby was cared for. Our dog Beau tore a ligament in his knee and required surgery to avoid life-long chronic pain issues. He had his consultation and surgery on the same day. Beau had to stay the night after his surgery. Dr. Streep’s called me after his surgery and then again the next morning with updates. The vet techs were all lovely and I went home confident I could take care of Beau with the instructions they gave me. The cost was even lower than the price we were quoted. I would not hesitate going here again if one of my animals needed a surgery. Thanks for taking care of my baby, y’all.

While I hope to never need them again, they were amazing during our visit. They rushed our dog right in and began treatment immediately. They were very open with his treatment plan and potential outcomes. Unfortunately for us it was too late, but their patience and kindness towards us was incredible. When it was time to say goodbye they were very accommodating and we never felt rushed. The Rainbow Bridge book we left with really helped our young children to better cope with the situation.

What a great and truly professional, caring staff. At a point of total caios and uncertainty, they led us to and helped make a horrible incidence better for us. GOD BLESS you all.

We took our precious Shiloh in Saturday thinking surgery would take care of her problems. Unfortunately, she had cancer and nothing would help but a solemn sleep to the rainbow. The staff were very respectful of our loss and kind at all times. Something we never experienced before.

We had an emergency with our furbaby Dio (a 10 lb yorkie). He was only 7 yrs old but was in distress. We took him to NVS even though we knew nothing about them other than they were open. It was on a Sunday. He had a collapsed trachea and went into cardiac arrest. Im heartbroken and just devastated that this happened. I will say NVS was wonderful. They were so kind and I cannot tell you how much it meant to have people there who were so kind and thoughtful. They did everything they could to make this as easy on us as possible. They gave us his pawprint in a keepsake plaster type frame with a beautiful poem, a book about the rainbow bridge and today I received a card with a pack of seeds to plant in his memory. I had to bring my 1yo lab in around 2am for an emergency visit and I could not be happier with the staff and how they handled everything, including my panicking. They took great care of my girl and happily updated me throughout the 24 hours she was there. Shes happy and healthy and Im very thankful for this veterinary staff.

I was very impressed with the service and the professionalism I received from the moment I called to the last min I left with my dog 🐕. Went there last night with my dog due to an allergic reaction his face swollen was worried because of respatory issues. I was invited into the lobby explained to the tech who also was a veteran that he is my service dog 🐕‍🦺and I have issues being separated from him I asked how long it will take but to my surprise he invited me to stay and wait in the room just take my dog long enough to give the meds and check vitals and do what needs to be done. Wow it meant everything to me they treated me my dog with respect and kindness it made me feel very at ease. The veterinarian Dr Bennett came in and explained everything in details and answered any questions I might had, not one min made they make me feel like I overreacted or it was just Minor they took it serious and took care of business asap.Thank you so much for your service and what yall do for the military veterans and family not forgetting this community! My dog is feeling much better still a Lil under the weather but better and I told my battles all about my experience from last night and the kindness. By far the best experience. Unfortunately we had to put our baby girl Eyeglass to sleep. We went in thinking she dislocated her hip, but it was far more severe. They didn’t try to run a bunch of extra test on her or do X-rays without asking. They were completely honest and helped my daughter and I remember that we shouldn’t be selfish with our decision moving forward. We were able to get the help we needed before she was in too much pain. We were with her until her last breath and she will always be missed. It still hurts, but we know that she is in a better place. The staff actually asked how we were doing when we spoke on the phone afterwards and when we went to pick her ashes up. It made us feel like we weren’t just another number.

We rushed our dashchund here last night. She was in heart failure. The techs and vet were so kind, and helped us to get thru a terrible time. Thank you so much for taking care of our Squirrel dog.

They were amazing with our sweet cat Nancy. Dr. Stegeman was very empathetic, and kept us updated on her status. Nancy spent 3 days under their care, and I’ve never felt more confident of anyone taking care of our cat. I wish I could rate them more than 5 stars. They are beyond professional. We are so grateful for their help. Nancy is recovering nicely at home. We are so happy to have our baby back.

I couldn’t have anything nicer to say about Nashville Vet Specialist-Clarksville. We rushed our 14 year old Yorkie to their facility and he received the best care possible. Ultimately we made the decision to put him to sleep. During that whole process the staff could not have been more accommodating, kind, or considerate of what we were going through. Our family was so grateful to have such compassion in pit time of suffering. We can’t give a high enough rating or say thank you enough.

Personnel are polite and courteous, but you are not allowed to accompany your pet to observe what they are doing with them. You can hear your pet crying and are not able to go and calm them down. When asked to accompany your pet, they say it is against policy because of the equipment. Not a recommended place for a pet lover. Definitely not one I plan on returning to.

Amazing staff!! They took great care of my cat when he had a nasty abscess Easter weekend. Could not be happier with the care they took of my Goblin and of me.Bear in mind, they are the ONLY emergency vet in town, so the wait times can be long, especially for non life threatening emergencies. Please be patient with the staff!

Unless your pet is literally dying, expect to wait for hours without any indication of how long the visit will be. I showed up before the facility opened, and I am still here over 5 hours later. If I had known the visit would take even over an hour, then I would have gone home to wait. I expect to wait at a hospital for humans, but this is ridiculous. The service is fine, but this facility can really use a larger staff if a few basic tests takes over 5 hours.

Had to take our cat peanut in for an emergency a few nights ago they came right out and took him back and he was put in the icu. They talked us though everything. they explained what they were planning to do, costs of everything, and next steps. They kept us informed on his condition, and let us know when we probably needed to come say our goodbyes. It was a very rough time for us, they were very companionate. Thank you!

Just like everyone else is saying here the staff is absolutely incredible and were so unbelievably kind and patient and went as far as putting the hair and whiskers of my fur baby in a bag and a print of his nose and even after I got home they continued to help and answer my questions through email just so compassionate and really truly care if it wasnt for that this would have been so much harder I cant thank you guys enough

We had to take our sweet 17 year old kitty, Belle, to NVS last night because we knew that she wouldnt make it thru the night. We had hoped that when we finally decided to help her to pass peacefully and pain free that we would be able to be at our vet, but that just couldnt happen. I am so thankful for Alex, Emily, and Dr. Bennett at NVS for making an unbearable moment a bit more bearable. Alex escorted us into the building and straight to a small grieving room set with a couch so that we could spend our last moments with Belle in a comfortable setting. They did everything right there in that room. Thank you to these three ladies for their care and devotion to their job, it is quite obvious they live whatbthey do.

I went here this past weekend for the first time under incredibly unfortunate circumstances. The staff treated me and my cat with incredible care and kindness. I cannot emphasize enough how kind both the vet and all vet techs were to us during that process. We had to put down our cat and they were accommodating, understanding, empathetic, the list goes on and on. This office is run with love and it was so appreciated. I just got a package in the mail from their cremation services of a cast paw print from my cat. I wasn’t expecting this at all and all I can say to this business and all those who work there is, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

The staff was very friendly on the phone and in person. My GSD really seemed to like them too- he didn’t want to leave!

Very professional caring staff. They made our last moments with our 13 year old dog most meaningful, and sent a sympathy card with staff comments after our loss.

Friday night my cat had a seizure i rushed her to the vets and unfortunately i had to make the decision to put my sweet meemaw to sleep which shattered me. But dr connor and all the other staff were absolutely amazing they gave me all the time i needed with my sweet girl. They didnt pressure me with anything and put me at ease that i was making the best choice for her. Thank you so much.Yeah

Thank you for everything, everyone here was so nice, caring, respectful and communicated with me during the whole process, when my new puppy was ill. I definitely recommend taking your furbaby here when in need of emergency care.

Very attentive and provided great care

My Yorkshire Terrier had an abnormal ball joint in his hip. The deformity was causing him severe pain. Dr. Streps in Clarksville did the surgery to remove the ball on the joint to get him out of pain. My husband and I thought he would only walk on three legs. Well.... we were overwhelmingly surprised as he is now perfectly normal! He has no limp and can run faster than our golden doodle!We highly recommend NVA as everything about our experience was “first class”!

I cant say enough good things about this clinic, staff and the Vet Dr. Bennett, who saw our baby on March 12th. They were great. We didnt know where to bring our dog to since we had just moved here in January and his new primary Vet was closed at the time. Our baby was almost 14 and wed had him since he was a puppy. He had been diagnosed with 2 types of Cancer and treated with Chemo from a Vet Oncologist in WA, for 2 years prior to moving here. He had been doing so well but took a terrible turn for the worse, during the early morning hours of March 12th. We didnt know who to turn to and thankfully, I found this Vet through an online search.I called before bringing Tanner into the clinic. To possibly save precious time, I answered questions about Tanner and his condition while we were enroute to the clinic and they were ready for him when we arrived at around 4:30 am. The staff met us promptly outside and shuffled Tanner inside for treatment. They immediately put him on oxygen. We were brought into a comfortable, quiet room with a sofa and dim lighting, to await the Vets diagnosis. The Vet gave us the news that we were not wanting to hear but had feared was coming. We had done all we could for him and the time had come. We could try to save him but it would be short lived and his quality of life would be extremely compromised. We were grief stricken and very emotional. We were were provided the privacy, comfort, and time to spend with Tanner before and during the procedure.The Vet and entire staff were knowledgeable, prompt responding, compassionate and caring. It should also be noted, that they didnt ream us on the cost. It was extremely fair, especially for emergency services provided in the middle of the night. We often think and speak of Tanner. We greatly miss him but we talk about how grateful we are that we stumbled upon this Vet clinic because they showed him and us, such compassion and care during this last visit. They made this time so much more bearable. We sincerely thank Dr. Bennett and the staff that assisted us. We received such a lovely hand signed card from the staff. They provide the feeling of a small town family Vet who really cares. We would highly recommend their services.💗🌹🐶🐾🌈
