Its one of the best veterinary clinics Ive dealt with. The staff is friendly and courteous and helpful. So are the assistants and doctors. I would recommend Family Pet Hospital to my family and friends

Wonderful! Very friendly staff. Super accommodating. I walked in with my little guy and didnt even have a long wait. Even with having his records transferred over from the old vets office and completing the new patient form. We were in and out in less than an hour. And they have Saturday hours!!

My actual visit to this place was fine. I’ve never had a puppy before, so I wouldn’t know what to look out for. The vet assistants seemed kind enough. Today though when I go to make my puppy’s 13 week shot appointment I was seriously disappointed at the lack of care or knowledge about my puppy. She’s only had two sets of shots and they were trying to tell me she wasn’t due for a year. When I questioned it, they said they don’t know and that I have to talk to the vet. I said - she’s only 13weeks - I’m looking at your schedule right here! So now what would have happened if I was less assertive and didn’t do my research and just thought - cool - she’s set for a year, took her to a dog park and she got parvo? This clinic is clearly dangerous to the pet community. I told the lady i was going elsewhere. The lovely lady at Wellness Pet at least knew what she was saying.

My experience is always great here and Bentley loves every one that works there this is his first hair cut and he is so handsome ❤️❤️❤️

I’ve called twice to get my cat in for a spay. First time they took all my info and said a vet tech would be in touch with in a week. 7 days went by never heard anything.. I called a second time to just check in on that... the lady whom answers phones was so rude as soon as I explained why I was calling back. She places me on hold for a min to just come back on the line to get ALL MY INFORMATION AGAIN.. to then tell me someone will be contacting you with the pricing..... in about two week!?! Just to get a price on spay!?! How! Must not want my services. Going else where. Because if they could be so rude about getting a price to spay my cat I can definitely say I wouldn’t want them doing anything to my family member.

I dont know, not too happy with always always coming out of there with a $100 or more bill every time! Expensive but I dont have anything to compare it to.

Everyone at Family Pet Hospital are beyond compassionate & considerate. Dr. Kemp has been Scrappy’s guardian Angel for a while now. She knows my Scrappy’s problems & has literally saved his life more than once. Last year he had pancreatitis which was so overwhelming. He got better only bc of everything Dr Kemp did for him. Then came his eye trouble. I thought he had cherry eye, but turned out he had a cancerous tumor. Dr. Kemp did the surgery and saved my buddys eye. All the cancer was removed & he’s able to see again. I’m more than thankful to everyone at Family Vet & especially Dr. Kemp. God’s blessings to you all. Ty so much. JM

I wish I would have followed my gut and found our fur babies a new vet after their last visit. They had a scheduled appointment and we sat in the car waiting to be seen for over 1.5. Today I called they were booked for 3 weeks but said they do walk ins. Our dog has an ear infection so we chose to bring him. They still have you wait in your vehicle and when we arrived we were informed they had one walk in ahead of us. So i waited, 8 months pregnant, with a Whiney dog. After over 1.5 hours of waiting I called. Only to be informed that there was still one walk in ahead of us and that they were completely booked today and with only one vet since one decided to leave. Wow! That is something they could have shared over the phone. What was the plan to have us wait until they closed. Proper communication would have been appreciated! Luckily we called and found a reputable 5 star vet in the area that is able to see him. So we are happily moving both of our fur babies to another clinic.

We brought our baby girl Madea to FPH when she was sick and we were so worried about her. She is a 17 year old pitbull, and we needed the best care for her. Dr. Kemp was extremely knowledgeable and I loved that she knew exactly what to do. Madea started eating again. She bounced back to her normal playful self. We brought her back again when she started having seizures. Again, Madea bounced back. Out of all the vets in Clarksville, we happened to call the right one. Thanks to Dr. Kemp and the staff, my baby is right in front of me eating her favorite treat 💓

Very professional and thorough. Our puppy was vomiting and couldnt get up. They concluded he had hook worms and he likely had an infection. He spent a couple nights at the hospital, and I couldnt tell you how excited we were to pick him up. When we did, he was back to biting ankles and digging through the trash, which was surprisingly a good thing. The lady that was helping us was great and kept us in the know the whole process. The only complaint I can give you is the wait times (which is kinda expected due to how many people that were doing walk ins/appointments) and the prices (which, again, was expected).

We called to make a last minute appt for a cut on our dogs leg, we were told 8:30am and 10:30am were open and we accepted the 8:30am appt. My husband showed up 5 minutes prior to the appt time, called to let them know he made it and gave our info, then waited 40 minutes while other animals were taken in and the tech stood around and laughed with another car. We will not be trusting this facility with our animals in the future.

We have 2 dogs that they have been caring for. Always polite, and professional. Get you in quickly, and offer thorough explanations. Follow-up if any issues arise. Very affordable for the services they provide. Dr. Reese and Dr. Kemp are fantastic!

After 7 years of my Henri having stomach problems, Dr. Singh found the answer and treated it according. He is happy and healthy now. If I need anything, Julie, the receptionist is always there to help me. Thanks!!!

Ive been here several times. Both my dog and I love this place. The doctors and the staff always answer all of my questions and are patient with my little girl. She can be shy at first. They are very welcoming and friendly. I appreciate that they seem to really care about what they do. A little pricey, but honestly what vet isnt and the quality of care is well worth it. Very clean facility as well.

Very impressed with the staff and cleanliness of the clinic! Most Vets have hair everywhere and aren’t very clean, this one was very clean. All the girls in the office were very sweet to my baby. It’s always a stressful time when something is the matter with your fur baby and everyone here made this time easier. Thank you Dr. Mac for all your help today, you are one of the most passionate knowledgeable Dr my babies have had.

My husband and I wound up going here by pure luck when we adopted our dog, but so glad we did. The staff there is great at what they do and super caring. When we had to put our cat down they made us as comfortable with the situation as possible and even sent a nice condolence card after the fact. After Christmas was over that year they sent us an ornament that they had on the tree in their office for our cat. They really care about their clients and have the best service of any vet that Ive ever been to.

We take all 4 of our dogs there. Great service, friendly staff. Convenient appointments. Fees are reasonable.

I could, literally, write a book about the many years of outstanding treatment my dogs and cats have received at Family Pet Hospital. Dr. Singh is absolutely the best; he is kind, caring, compassionate, knowledgeable and intelligent. The staff is outstanding, friendly and very competent. After visiting two other veterinarians in town I came here with a near emergency situation with my older dog. These guys got us in quickly on a Saturday without an appointment. The doctor was friendly and knowledgeable and knew exactly what was going on within minutes of seeing our old friend.The doctor prescribed medicine for our situation and did not try to sell us on additional tests of medication we did not need (unlike most vets I have been to).Friendly, caring and mindful of out pets needs. These guys just won over a new customer.UPDATE:I personally want to thank all the staff. Last week we laid our friend Pepper to rest with their help. She had been with us 17 years and it was one of the hardest things I have ever done. Their staff were understanding, helpful, and caring through the entire process. When I went today to pick up her ashes, the young lady also gave me a small handmade ornament with Peppers paw impression. This unexpected act of kindness brought me to tears (I am sorry I left so quickly but you really surprised me and I was a bit overwhelmed with emotion!) and reminded me of why we bring our family members here for their care.We appreciate all your kindness and understanding during this time. Absolutely disgusted by the treatment at this location. At first I thought they were great, but after over a thousand dollars spent with them treating my dog, the infection had gotten worse and their answer was that they didnt know what to tell me on how to treat my dog.I ended up going to Parkers Paws in Nashville and Dr. Epstein and his staff along with the help from Dr. ONeil at Nashville Veterinary hospital were able to determine my dogs issues.She is FINALLY well on her way to being healed and no longer has puss and blood blisters all over her feet.I do not recommend this office or their team of Drs. The lack of knowledge, compassion, or care is unacceptable.If you need proper care for your furry children I highly recommend taking the trip to Nashville, not only will you receive the proper treatment, but you will not be spending unnecessary money on their guess work treatments.

Very happy with my visit! Took my dog to PetSmart to get her nails clipped as I just got her from her previous owner and they needed to be seriously cut. They turned me away because she had no rabies records and I tried to see if they would give her a shot but apparently it would be 2 weeks out because they do by appointment only and then after she gets the shot, they wont clip her nails until 48 hrs post shot. Anyway...I was super disappointed. So I looked online for somewhere nearby that also had decent reviews and came here... on a Friday afternoon and they took me right in. Filled out the simple form quickly and they immediately took her for her rabies shot. They came out and said she did great! We also clipped her nails while we were at it. Needless to say I almost cried! They did so good with her and the whole staff is very friendly!

I have been taking my animals to Family Pet Hospital for more than 10 years. From my experience both doctors are excellent. Dr. Singh has performed surgery on both my cat and also on my dog Josie, and had been my Josies doctor from the beginning until her recent passing at the age of 14. Took some time for healing but recently have gotten two new puppies. Never considered taking them elsewhere!

We walked in with no appointment but was greeted with a smile and waited only few minutes before our dog Mo was seen. The Doctor seen him right away and explained our options. They keep him and had him back to his old self by that afternoon. Great staff and Doctor!

I find there is a consistent plan of care that includes upcharges, anesthesia, labs, overnight stay for simple office procedures I have had done at other places I have lived. Basic care, they do well, but anything beyond is opening oneself for grandiose overspending. Some staff are kind, others abrupt. I’m not happy with the business $$$$ atmosphere. I’m going to look elsewhere for a vet that cares about my pet, not just my wallet.

This used to be the only vet we would use, but I will not be going back. Expensive, long wait even with an appointment, inaccurate records, and Dr. Vaughn documented that our 3 year old dog should weigh less than he did as a healthy 9 month old puppy with no explanation for the recommendation. He stated the dog needed to lose roughly 30% of his body weight so 20-25 lbs which would put him at the low end breed standard for a dog that is taller and longer than the high end of breed standard. Following this vets guidance would likely kill our dog. The previous year at only 5 pounds lighter, he was considered a healthy weight for his size at the same vet clinic.

Treats my animals like family! Have recently had both my dogs groomed here as well and very impressed. I have been all over town and hard to get a grooming appointment anywhere and just a lot of bad haircuts, but not here! Totally impressed with their entire operation. They have also helped during some very hard times like when we had to say goodbye to my golden. Thanks Family Pet Hospital!!!

My family have been taking our pets to Family Pet Hospital for over 17 years. Dr Singh literally saved the life of one of our puppies. We receive great service, there is rarely a long wait, and they have a Wed and Sat clinic for shots. The staff have always been very courteous and helpful, especially Julie who is nearly always at the front desk and so great with answering all of my dumb questions.

I have been coming to this vet for the last 6 weeks and from my very first visit Ive felt comfortable, confident and my puppy has been treated with so much love, caring and concern. Im pretty sure they spoil him more than we do!

Its $37 to look at your pet. They dont even have to touch them. I showed them the wound, they walked out of the room more concerned with writing up their estimate to collect their money. Very friendly, but not overly helpful. Called around and found more reasonable treatment at almost half of the quote from this place. $640 for a few stitches is a bit much, other vet office quote of $350. I am not questioning their level of treatment or friendliness. Just know up front, you will definitely pay for it.

Dr. Singh and his tech staff at Family Pet Hospital are courteous, efficient and professional. For more than 15 years, they have skillfully, lovingly, cared for my dogs and cats... from puppy/kitty-hood, through trauma and old age, until their peaceful ends. Thank you.

My cat had chronic diarrhea, after taking him to another vet and not finding a reason or solution I brought him here. They got me right in and sent me home with many medicines bound to find a solution to his problem. After my many calls and another visit he is now back to his normal self and I couldnt be more grateful. Thank you too the super sweet techs who always made Binx feel comfortable and the doctor who answered all of my dumb questions. I would trust this vet hospital with any of my animals, quite frankly my own life :)

Ive been taking my pets to this veterinarian since they opened in 2005. I have never been to a veterinary clinic that had a more welcoming and caring staff. The prices are reasonable (Ive checked around and all the places in this area cost about the same.) But, even if this place was double the cost, I would still use them. I love my pets and I love that they enjoy going into this clinic and dont ever seem to be afraid. The doctors are knowledgeable and never do any treatment without getting my approval first. They treat me like a family member, and not just a number, like so many of the other cheaper-looking places.

They have taken wonderful care of my rescue Lab, Louie for almost 4 years. After I got him he was very sick and they were really dedicated to finding exactly what was wrong and fixing him up. He has stayed healthy under their care. And he bounds in the door excited to be there every time, unlike other vets I used to go to where my dogs would balk and cower.

Ive taken my dog to Dr. Singh for all 16 years of her life. Dr. Singh is kind and compassionate with the animals -and their humans. The office is well run and efficient.

Very impressed with the service and staff. I had a scare with my pupper yesterday and since it was Sunday I wasn’t sure I could get her in anywhere. I called around and was told I could bring her in FPH. From the front desk, to the Vet tech, to the Vet, everyone was extremely gentle and loving with my girl. They apologized for the wait, but it wasn’t bad at all, especially to been seen without an appointment. Thanks to all for hearing my concerns and helping my girl get better.

We had an emergency at 4:30 pm on a Sunday afternoon. We live about 30 mins away from your location, and we called ahead. You guys said to come on in, you would be waiting for us, and you had everything ready to treat my dog on the spot. We greatly appreciate your kindness, and how quickly you took care of my sweet puppy. We will definitely be using you as our regular vet in the future.

Its hard for me to believe that the overall rating is less than perfect. I looked a around and called multiple vets before making my choice and I must say I am extremely thankful I picked this place.I recently had my cat Hazel (Hazel Laser Eyes) fixed and chipped. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They took their time explaining everything to me and what to expect during recovery. I chose Family Pet Hospital out of necessity due to my vet not being available for my big dog Gia. I was so impressed with the care and the staff that I have made them my vet permanently. We have been going there for some time now and my fur babies are never scared or upset to be there. My little dog, Eddie, is a very timid pup but he shows no fear with the staff there ever!! Cant say enough about how wonderful they are. The hours of operation are a plus! Thank you so much for taking such great care of my babies!!!!

I have had nothing but good experiences with all of the staff here! I first brought my cat here as a kitten to be spayed but suddenly had to go out of town for a family emergency. I was very worried about my kitten and the staff was so wonderful, they called to tell me when she had been taken back for surgery, when her surgery was completed, when she woke up from anesthesia and how she was, and when my boyfriend had stopped to pick her up. They went above and beyond! They even called the next day to see how she was doing and when I had a question about her pulling out a suture, they seen her for free to check the incision. They are great!! They have a great online website for keeping up with your pets care and records, which you can personalize. Luckily I have not had to to see them for emergencies or illness as my baby has never been sick but Im sure they would still be great. LOVE this vet!!

These folks are the greatest at taking care of our English Bulldog! So friendly and helpful every time we call or come in for a checkup! Highly recommend!

This place is amazing ! And the grooming superb ! Great knowledgeable staff with good energy and helpful vibes.

Called them and they said my visit would be $120. Verified services and charges. Made appt and at checkout it came to $161 for services (and a little more for additional meds totaling $191). Asked receptionist and she said whoever answered made a mistake and didnt even try to make it right, or say sorry. Instead just basically said whoever answered made a mistake and there is no way to find out who answered. Bad way to conduct business. I couldve gone to two other local vets for $89 and $109 but I chose this vet due to location and same day appointment. Save your money and go somewhere who appreciates their customers and doesnt make them feel like theyre accused of lying. We spend a ton of money at the vet and understand all have different pricing. But dont tell a new customer the price will be x amount when it is in fact much more.

My Dachshund, Tootsie is 15 1/2 years old and has Cushings Disease. Ive had her since she was a tiny pup so she is my BABY. She suddenly started peeing blood and I was terrified it might be more than a UTI.My regular vet is closed on Sundays, so on their recommendation I took her into Family Pet Hospital right when they opened at 1pm today.They were GREAT!! They are a regular vet so they dont charge emergency vet prices. Dany, who talked to me on the phone before we arrived, was very comforting and informative. The vet tech, Ashley, was super informed and helpful. The Vet, Dr Blake, who examined Tootsie, was super friendly and informative, and put me at ease.After a urine culture and bladder ultrasound, we were out of there with antibiotics, and a daily ProBiotic powder for her bladder and immune system. It was very affordable. For everything they did I thought the prices were extremely fair.Thank you for taking such great care of my baby!! Tootsie gives two paws up for Family Pet Hospital. :)

I took my dog in a week or so ago because he was continually scratching and biting himself. They gave me some medication for allergies and within days the problem was gone. My only concern with this visit was that they recommended some very expensive dog food for him, but I dont think that has had any affect on him -- just the pills, which worked wonders.

They are so great! They truly care about the pets and are very helpful and considerate!

I have Keelys Friends Dog Rescue in Goodlettsville. A lady I was trying to help with a stray dog took the dog at Family Pet. The dog had a broken leg and was heartworm positive. Instead of euthanizing the dog, they worked to find a place that would take her while she healed and provided great, reasonably-priced care for her. GREAT people! They went above and beyone to help this sweet dog.

I have had nothing but the best care for my fur baby here. He has been here a nunber od times with an appointment because i have found him bloody from chewing his hair off. Allergy to flee bites. They always fix him right up. Moved now dont have to worry about that. Now my baby Baylee got diabetes and went blind. We didnt catch his diabetes until he went blind over night. I thought i had lost him when my Dad grabed him that morning and ran out the door before i could get dressed. But he brought him home to me and said he will be ok because he knows where everything is. They have kept him on his insulin and check him and they treat him great. Knowing hes blind they talk to him and tell him what is going on. We get treat great and i see a lot of people come in there and they leave happy. We also use there grooming they have and have been pleased with them. Great choice if your looking for a Vet.

My dog and I made an emergancy visit during regular operating hours.. And walked out paying a HEFTY car payment!! Almost 500. For blood tests and at the end of getting the results they were still unsure the cause or effect of her sudden anemic condition. I consulted another vet in the area, the tests were necessary, but the price steep! I have moved to the other vet in which I received a 2d opinion!

Went to the shot clinic on Saturday at the Family Pet Hospital in Clovis, CA. We were in and out in less than a hour. The staff is friendly. Also went to the shot clinic on Wednesday, less busy this day.
