Ok service. I went in for an alignment. What should take an hour to do, it took over an hour and almost two. It wasn’t busy at all. I saw a guy take one tire at a time to put away and all I think is lean management. This place can use lean management to improve their safety and quality. They had worked 12 days without an incident. Maybe I’m to picky but I look at all this when sit here to long waiting for a simple task to be completed.Cleanliness- different story. Bathroom was dirty and waiting room was dirty. I don’t know what else to say... needs improvement or Jesus

A couple of weeks ago I had a loose valve stem and the tire wasnt holding air. I came across this Firestone at closing, explained my situation and Paul not only tightened the stem but asked if he could check the pressure in all the tires, which he did. When I asked what I could pay, he replied, nothing. Now that is a great user experience. Based on this interaction I wouldnt hesitate to give them my business.

This location took care of a lapse that an Indiana branch location made. Topped me off with oil and conducted tentative checks on this fleet account vehicle so my day stayed productive.

I had to go down the street to the tire place on 3230 reading rd to get my tire fixed and the price of new tires was way less expensive. They didn’t want to help me due to the fact I didn’t want to purchase tires. Luckily I stuck to my guns and kept searching. I definitely recommend the tire place on 3230 reading rd.

Went there for years wont ever go back . Said I needed struts they were leaking. Had looked at from other mechanic nothing wrong with them.

My son paid for lifetime alignment, has gone back for tire rotation on the 5th of April and now doing his one brakes on the 13th of April and noticed a huge clean cut in his outer cv joints. I spoke with a manager who claims that he didnt pay for a full inspection so they would not have seen the cuts

I go there for assistance with tires or oil change. For the most part okay but there needs to be a check system on things done to assure they are correct. Needed if they want 5 point ratings.

Buyer beware classic bait and switch sales tactics. I was asked to be emailed a written quote but they said one could not be emailed. I asked for a quote for two vehicles, we had our first car serviced but will not be taking in our second car. I provided the tire and loading informationsize from the door of my car. Once they were servicing the vehicle, I was called and they said my car needed a different tire size. I was aparently quoted for a 17 inch tire despite providing the 18 inch size. They said they could get tires and alignment done by 10:00am. They called at 9:50 to say alignment would take another 45 minutes. The car was left there the night before and I had discussed with the employee at drop off the work could be done in the morning.

Great staff. They were up not able to fix the issue with my car but gave me a referral to someone who could. I wasnt even charged for the inspection because they werent able to help me. Definitely recommend and will return if any problems come up. Very clean lobby as well

I really like this Firestone and the people that work there. Ive never had a problem with service there and the prices seem fair. The only issue Ive had is the completion times for service fluctuate a lot and are usually longer than what they tell me when I do the vehicle off. If you can be flexible with completion times, you should be a satisfied customer.

They try to sale me a battery for $279 when I got it from auto parts for $148

Good prices and good people what more could you ask for? Last time I went in I had a great visit. Staff was polite honest and helpful. They told me what additional issues I had with my car, but never tried to push me to pay more for the additional service. Plus they where ready for me before my appointment time which meant less of a wait.

My tires were low so they put air in them

Being told for months by my dealership (free oil change visits) that I needed new tires. After having a flat tire I decided it was finally time to bite the bullet and get tires. I dropped my car off for service and was happily surprised when Paul called and reported that I in fact did not need new tires. Firestone was able to repair my flat under my road hazard warranty, perform a balance and rotate, and an alignment (everyone should buy a lifetime alignment, I cant begin to say how much that has saved me over the years). I am extremely satisfied with the services provided and will remain a customer for life.

I went to Montgomery Rd Firestone for an oil change on Saturday without appointment and they took my car right in. The price after coupon was good, the service manager was friendly and they also did a safety check (wipers/lights etc) for free. No up-selling of unnecessary services. The oil change was done in under one hour and the car seats/mats and steering wheel were all clean after the service. Overall, very pleased with the service.However, the next time I came in for an oil change, they were all booked for the day, so I suggest making appointments beforehand because they may get pretty busy.

My first visit, about a year ago, came about due to a flat tire. I had a warranty on my tires and Firestone was a suggested place to take it close to where I live. I met John that day and he was very cordial and made sure I understood what needed to be done to get me back on the road. He reached out to the warranty department so I didnt have to do anything else but wait patiently and pick up my truck when done. This recent visit today is due to a weird noise and jerking when I drive. I conveniently made my appointment online and applied for the Firestone credit card because this was definitely an unexpected expense. I received comfimation of my scheduled appointment and credit acceptance all within 24 hours. I met Cordell today and he was by far a great representative of the store. They did full diagnostics and visual scan of my vehicle. Again, I was very satisfied with the outcome, I will be going back for all my truck needs and will recommend Firestone to anyone who asks.

Well at the time I was having trouble with my tires and I pulled them to the first place that I seen and it was it was this place and the other guy came right out and asked me how could he help me and I told him I was worried about my tires being low and he said pull on in and well check them out for you and I brought in any checked all four of my tires and I had some of the knobs were missing and he put knobs on my tires and now I just thought that was amazing that you know they took time to stop doing what they was doing to come out and serve me so I definitely get on my phone for the great service

Incredibly easy experience! I called them from a tow truck because my car had a flat tire. They werent able to fix my car that day but fixed it the next day and allowed me to leave my car there overnight. Valerie recommended that I replace all four tires instead of just the flat one. Although its clear she has had her sales (upselling) training, I never felt pressured into anything. She also informed me of their current buy-3-get-1-free deal which brought my total for four new tires to only $320.Highly recommended to anyone needing new tires!

Service was honest, quick, and polite, despite being short staffed during my visit. Gave honest suggestions on what work I really needed done and pointed out that one part I needed replaced was covered by another shops warranty. Will definitely come here for future service.

I had a 7am appointment (first one there when they open) to put 4 tires on and a alignment. At 8am they tell me they cant do the alignment because my tie rods are loose. Thats fine, Ill take that to my dealer and have them fix that. Then they tell me another hour to finish putting on the tires. It does not take 2 hrs to put on tires! I couldve done it faster than that without the tools they have. Maybe if they moved a little faster things would get done. And there are like 3 guys doing nothing! One in the office,one outside smoking and who knows what the other old man was doing.

Fixed my flat for less than $25. Didnt try to pressure me into new tires. Always helpful about topping off the air in your tires. Good people.

Got tires, alignment, and brakes done here. My car came back with brakes still squealing and a bad vibration in the wheel. I took it back and they serviced the vehicle free of charge but the problem was not fixed. The staff was friendly and understanding, but my issue was not fixed. Prices are average...its tires, so it will be expensive and suck any way you slice it.

I had a terrible experience here. All I had them do was change a tail light and they never called me to let me know my car was ready. This made me waste 4 hours waiting around for them to call. They also left my car unlocked sitting on the side of the street. Very lucky nobody robbed me. I will never return to this place.

I called to ask if they have the tire I needed - they did, but then they hung up on me as I was asking more questions about price and installation. I would have 100% purchased from them if this didnt happen.

Paid $10 to find out whether these guys were crooks or not. Came in with some shaking when I braked and a popping noise coming from my front passenger side wheel when I put it in reverse. Left it there and got a call an hour later saying they inspected it and I needed new front and rear brake pads and rotors totaling almost $700. PLOT TWIST: I got my rears changed two days ago and my fronts 3 weeks ago (drove less than 1000 miles in that time). I asked a lot of questions and said I would come in to check it out. Hang up....get a call back five minutes later saying he misread the mechanics sheet and theyre fine, but they need to be resurfaced for a total of $230 (Big difference hmmm). I walked in, politely felt my rotors (still smooth as butter) and left with my inspection. 2 stars because they were very courteous throughout and left my car on the lift until I got there. They may not be crooks, but they definitely didnt know what they were doing in my case. Just posted this because I went there because of the decent google reviews.

Just got off the phone with Firestone Im just gone call him the sales rep. I told him I needed front brakes he said OK I can get you in Monday morning for an inspection and we can tell you everything that needs to be done and get back with you by the afternoon. I told him no I know what needs to be done I need front brakes no inspection needs to be done Im fine. He proceeded to tell me well in that case I can get you in on Wednesday. Excuse me! why Wednesday what happened to him Monday question? To sum it up he couldnt give me a logical answer I told him my brother actually do the same kind of sales job he does. Firestone wont get any more money out of me than I want to pay thank you but no thank you. Horrible sales person not very trustworthy at all. Im not the average woman some of us do know better and when you know better you do different. Ill take my business elsewhere. Sonewhere they are not press to run a DOLLAR up on me........... :/

Professional. I didnt feel like ever up-sold me or took advantage of my lack of knowledge. When then bill came the went through and explicitly the how much and why of everything they did. Great warranties too.

Had a tire pressure warning and went to Smythe Automotive and Autozone before here. Neither could help me. The staff here quickly helped me identify the flat tire and repaired it in a matter of minutes for only $24.

Made an appointment online 4 hours in advance at 9am. Two hours later I received a call telling me I could waited get it done at 6pm or wait until Saturday. What is the point in making an appointment if you are going to tell me I can’t get it done at any of the times it gave me.

Their estimate was typical repair shop bulls*#!. They piled on everything they could come up with. For example, when they couldnt find anything wrong with the rear brakes they said they should be replaced because they were old! They actually wrote that down on the estimate. They didnt say that there was anything wrong with the brakes, literally just that they were old. Furthermore, they quoted 4 tires for a Mazda 3 at over $800. I dont know what these people think. I guess they are hoping you are someone with deep pockets that will blindly accept their estimate. I am so sick of the dishonesty in this industry. I dont know about Firestone, but most of the service writers (the guys/gals you tell what is wrong with your car and then they tell you what you need and what it is going to cost) that are out there are payed/bonused/incentivised by how much money they can get you to spend. Most people know very little about how cars work and dont have much choice but to trust these people. Throw in the idea that your physical safety (and anyone else that gets in your car) is at stake, and you have a situation that is designed to exploit the publics ignorance for monetary gain. I believe this is an area where the federal government could actually do some good for the common man.

They said my car battery could not hold any charges anymore and asked me to replace it.Since my car battery was new and was under dealership warranty, I left the place and went to my dealership service center. Although the sales associate helping me was extremely nice and concerned about the welfare of my battery I still wanted to see my options. It was his recommendation to look more into the warranty of the battery. I then paid for a battery boost and went on my way.My dealership reviewed the battery and found nothing wrong with the battery. When I called Firestone to report what the dealership said to understand the discrepancies I was met with a rude associate. This new associate did not look into the details of the battery report done by firestone until I repeatedly asked. When he did look up the results he sounded extremely burdened by this simple request. When I asked how two exact exams, firestone and my dealership, had two very different results he put me on about a hour long hold. A new associate answered the phone and asked if I was helped already. Clearly the associate did not want to be bothered by these discrepancies and passed the buck to another associate. This new associate was very apologetic and stated that he could try to reach out to my dealership to reach a conclusion. He then told me that he would call me back with the conclusion. However no call back was received and the dealership did not report anyone reaching out to them.TLDR Very two faced. Either extremely helpful or very disinterested.

Ive been chasing a highway-speed vibration in my wheels for a few weeks, after having my tires rotated and balanced by my normal indy mechanic. I didnt have time to have them fit me in before the Thanksgiving holiday, so I took a chance at the Norwood Firestone because I can walk there and leave my car.Went in, first question was Do you have a dynamic balancing machine (also known as a RoadForce balancer.....the best way to do the job). They said no.I went ahead and told them to balance the tires and walked home.I got a call from the shop (not the original person I dealt with at the desk) saying that the wheels indeed were out of balance. Then, he said my cabin air filter was dirty and should be replaced, as well as my drive belt (the one that runs the A/C and power steering and alternator on my particular car) needing to be replaced because it had a ton of cracks in it.I declined the filter/belt and authorized the tire balancing.About 25 minutes later, a separate, third person called saying the car was done.......I had originally been told, at 8:30am, it would be early afternoon before it was done. This third call came at 10:45am.Why do I report all of these details?A. I replaced my own cabin air filter about 4 weeks ago. When looking in my glovebox where the filter is located behind, every single item was in the exact same location, and the manuals always hang up in the box when opening the door. Meaning.......theres ZERO chance anyone actually checked this filter to see how dirty it was. And I guarantee on my life that it WASNT.B. I inspect my drivebelt every time I check my oil (which I change myself), about every 2 weeks. The belt is perfectly fine and was replaced 3 years ago, on a 2005 vehicle.C. It takes more time to balance tires than 25 minutes if youre doing it right. They clearly did that job, then tried to entice me to do more needless fake work.I went on a 430-mile-each-way trip Thanksgiving weekend and it was terrible. Somehow, this shop managed to make the situation WORSE, while trying to upsell me on products and services that were completely unwarranted. I want a refund and will fight for it.Firestone in Norwood, OH...........be very careful who you try to scam. Some of us actually know a LOT about cars and the only reason I cant do my own tires is because I dont have the equipment. Trust me, I wouldnt employ you if I did.

The absolute worst experience. I came in for a simple tire patch due to a slow leek. I waited for 2.5 hours for what should of taken 15 minutes. Then after 30 mins of driving my car again the check tire pressure light goes on again. I call and they said they were sorry they just simply didnt pay enough attention and didnt fix it correctly. Are you kidding me? Dont waste your time, literally go anywhere else in the entire tri-state but here.

I got my rear right side tire changed and not even 2 weeks later it popped because it was defective....

Horrible service, the manager that was working the day I got my service done was rude and argumentative for no reason at all. They will do a job lasting 3 hours and charge you for 5. Thats theft. I would not recommend this place to anyone and will never ever return again.

Ive bought two sets of tires from the Norwood store on Montgomery Ave over a couple of years and Ive always gotten good service and a fair price.

Have used them twice now. Each time the staff was friendly and had competetive prices- both repairs were within the time window described. Although they offered suggestions for addtional repairs, there were no scare tactics involved. Will continue to go back until I have a reason otherwise.

Not sure whats going on with this place. Ive been going for two years now. At first they seemed pretty upright and straight shooting but now I think its all about money for them. I went in because of brake noise two months ago ...thatll be $400 ...ok (hmm thats how much I paid just last year!?!). The noise never went away, first they say it was normal due to the pads adjusting but after two months I go back ...thatll be $300 ...its a different brake problem this time we promise. Not going back. Hope this helps the next person decide.

Paid $200 for a new battery and it turns out the battery was never the issue. They had my car for 30+ hours and didn’t find what the issue was? For shame!

For a chain, this is a good, trustworthy operation. They turned over the management about six months ago and my review remains the same.

Went to Bob Summeral for a grinding issue and they told me it was rust. I dont know a lot about cars but I knew that wasnt right. Took it here, and the technicians were able to walk me through everything that was wrong and fixed it up in a day for about a hundred under the quoted price. Still about $700, but hey, thats the cost of owning a car #ThanksObama

Answers phone every time, helped me with info on a problem I was having with my ram and properly flushed my cooling system nothing more that I could ask for.

The staff here was helpful and finished the work that I needed done on my car in a reasonable time. If my car has any additional issues I will be sure to take it to Firestone.
