Our experience with the YMCA Autism program has been a great one! The teachers work very well with the students and we have seen a lot of growth in Lyric from a gross motor, communication, ability to play and interact well with others. We are very happy to be a part of this program.
During the summer time four times I wanted to go swimming during the daytime and didnt hit her wife card so I would have went to the indoor pool it was close though so youre paying for a membership to use all of the facility and they cant find enough people to work
This is a great YMCA! They offer lots of water exercise classes and the staff is wonderful!
Great family place for older kids who are strong swimmers, but, when its open, theres a nice zero entry pool inside with a lazy river type circular pool. Theres also a nice baby pool on the outside deck.
Used To be a great place to have fun and play ball. No longer cares for members that come for the open gym. There’s everything else taken place in there besides basketball.
Love the indoor and outdoor pool. Staff is always great. I am happy to be a member.
They are very welcoming as a staff and Ms Myra is amazing, she showed a level of caring that is rare to see. She greets everyone by name prior to them signing in, that small gesture makes a huge difference!!
Clippard is an all around family fun experience. Always clean and big fun. The staff is friendly and so are the patrons. We love going to Clippard.
Excellent zumba, strength training, and pilates classes.
Very friendly and helpful staff, meet great people and family, always clean and just a great atmosphere!
The tempature of the outdoor pool was wonderful ! Wish it would be like that all the time instead of sooo cold.
The kindness of all the staff, the instructors who work tirelessly to explain it to the children. literally the whole organization I like how it works. everything is perfect.
I would give it a 5 except they need to fix the slide in the kids fun zone and not so heavy on the chlorine.
Clean, good customer service. Lifeguards are super nice
The day camp program for the kids is amazing. The teachers/instructors are amazing.
Staff was friendly and they have lots of activities for the whole family. We are doing swimming classes and my son seemed to really enjoy it so far!
Very nice facility. I have been coming here for over 12 years. Staff is very friendly & attentive, and is constantly sanitizing machines in a very timely manor. Love all of the recent upgrades, extra hand sanitizing stations, and the added barriers between cardio machines to ensure a great experience for everyone.
My 4 yr. old granddaughters swimming instructors were excellentUnfortunately she is not trusting enough to put head or face in waterHopefully next class.
I swim, do the new step and bike and watch you tube or listen to my radio when I am working out. I get weighed and sometimes get a shower.
Great place to exercise. Lots of activities
Great and affordable place for family fun!
Always clean and very friendly
We love ever thing here.
Dead cicadas filled the kiddie water features. The stairs were broke on the inside slide.
Very nice ymca clean and friendly!
Family-friendly, esp water park, family basketball, fitness room, and classes. Looking forward to day camp this summer!
Love it so relaxing
Very friendly staff, clean and sanitary. Great place to take the family!
Enjoyed dipping in the cool refreshing waters with my grandchildren. Other children there were welcoming. Enjoyed relaxing in the nice hammock chairs and feeling the cool breezes. It was a peaceful way to end the day without crowds.
Great place for yhu and your family
Presently Under reconstruction at Main E trance but, easily accessible including ramp on side of building. Staff very professional and extremely helpful. Extremely clean plus Temp Scanner Check for entry as well.
Im loving water aerobics. Toni Mellilo and Kelly Sebastian are awesome instructors!
Love the cycling and strength training classes. Andrea and Rich are great trainers!
Great family fun time
I love the Y
Great yoga class
I hate wearing a mask while working out
Clippard YMCA is a great place to work out and attend classes.
Family friendly place. Workout classes that are available daily with the option of daycare which is a necessity if you have younger ones. Indoor/ outdoor pool, basketball as well as having the ability to sign your kids up for extra curricular activities through the YMCA program.
Friendly staff, clean facility.
I so appreciate ALL the class instructors at Clippard that have bravely come back to teach group classes since the Y reopened since closing. My home Y- Powell Crosley has yet to offer classes and kids club which has been a real bummer, but thanks to Clippard YMCA resuming as close to normal as possible I have been able to get back into shape. Rich Linder and Andrea Wilson are absolutely fantastic instructors in both strength training and cycling that I may just make Clippard my home YMCA even though its 3xs longer of a drive than Powell Crosely. My husband absolutely loves TRX training and bootcamp, taught by Keith! The desk workers are also very attentive and informative, there never seems to be any confusion about anything. The pool is well maintained and the lifeguards seem to enjoy their job, are relaxed and speak patiently to the children who need reminded of rules. The kids club workers are also very nice and seem to enjoy their job and the children who come in! After registering on motion vibe- signing up for classes, pool time and kids club has been a breeze and havent had any issues at all, except when I forget to register for those in demand classes! All I could ask for is an app for motion vibe for easier accessibility. I really have nothing bad to say about our experience at Clippard YMCA and I am SO VERY THANKFUL they are open and running as normal, It honestly makes me and my family better to have the Y available to use. I am willing to make the longer drive to a place that is organized, seems genuinely welcoming to me and my family and follows/enforces safe/health policy to keep everyone well. I love Clippard YMCA, thank you for being open!!!
Nice, family oriented facility.
Very nice people
I went to my first group fitness class last night (Strength Train Together) with Teresa. It was a great class. I was most impressed by another participant that reached out and helped me get set up and helped me throughout the class to know what weight I should use. Her name is Jerusha. She was fantastic!! She made me feel comfortable. I will definitely be coming back.
I appreciate the early and late hours before and after school. The teachers are great and my daughter loves going and is upset if we pick her up early. As a parent that puts me at ease to know that my child is being taken care of!!!
The people are great and its a fun atmosphere very rewarding
Excellant...
The atmosphere here is welcoming and fantastic. The front desk is always friendly. The water park is warm and fun. They have a large assortment of classes to choose from and many different machines in the gym.
Love the Clippard Y...the facilities are well kept and staff is awesome. I use the gym several days a week and am able to get a complete workout. It isnt a huge gym so there is only one piece of equipment for most exercises and not multiple of everything like youd see at a larger gym. Other than that its awesome.
Great pace for family workouts. I love all of the classes.
My children love the Kids Club ( i believe its the only Y with video games). They also prefer this indoor pool over the others. We have yet to utilize the outdoor pools, but i love the classes and size of the fitness center. This is now my preferred Y.
I was there for a lock-in and had a great time. Both of the two pools are kept very clean.
Always a good time at Clippard YMCA. Friendly staff and all who visit are as well! ❤
The Y swim lessons were great for my boys, ages 2 & 4. My boys needed to learn to feel comfortable and gain confidence being in the water and these were perfect classes for that.
Water aerobics Is my favorite class along with silver sneakers circuitFriendly staff and instructors 👍
Our kids are doing swim lessons and we love the experience. The instructors are awesome and are great with the kids.
My 3 year old child just started Preschool here in August of 2018 and it wasn’t a easy transition for my child but I can say the staff never gave up on my child we all worked toward the bigger picture which was to help my child get adjusted to the new surroundings an it worked! Thank you to the YMCA teachers for all your team work you are Appreciate.
Ive been a member and swim coach at this Y for over a decade. Its clean and the workers are friendly. There are a ton of classes (free for members) and excellent aquatics - from lessons to competitive team. Child watch is also free and available much of the peak hours. Overall a great community. Negative would be it can get crowded and due to the many programs sometimes lap swimming can be challenging.
Greatest place to have fun and kick back put your feet up
I actually prefer the covid-19 swimming protocol!
Been a member for a few years love being there.
Place is open and what youd expect from the Y.
Very friendly and try their best to be accommodating for special needs!
This place was awesome. Its a very nice YMCA my kids loved it and fit right in. Had no problems. Would love to go again.
This is a very friendly facility! Their preschool is top notch! Always greeted with a smile! The preschool teachers always make my son feel welcome!
So much fun for the family. The people are great except for one staffer. She is a older women with a chip on her shoulder all the time.
I absolutely hate calling this y to ask a questionDebbie is rude never lets me finish my questionTransfers me without even telling me.Sports are unorganized since clay is no loners there!!!Signed my son up for flag football. Paid. And another parent told me that they aren’t doing flag anymore since there isn’t enough kids to play. I’m still waiting to hear from them. I Called left messages and still no response.I would rather drive to a different YMCAWith all of the members that come to this YMCA it should be bigger.Older kids hog up the basketball court. Curse use the N word like it’s nothing. You let the desk know and they do nothing. But then when you get upset and are about to leave they want to get up and tell them to stop .I’m just over it
My family and I love the Clippard YMCA and their amazing staff especially Erica and Deborah at the front desk!!!
Great recreational place. Always feel welcome. Love the indoor waterpark except during the winter time because they leave the doors open.
We love it! Thanks
Great place to work out or take the family for a swim.
Great equipment and facilities. 3 different swimming pools with lots of lanes is a big plus for someone who loves to swim like me.
I liked indoor water park. Visited for a bday party. Clean locker room with showers. Nice party. Look like they had workout facilities, I think they had basketball, looks like they have an outdoor water park as well
We love going to this y. Staff is friendly and the indoor pool is great. They even offer belly dancing classes.
This Y is great. The pools are the best part. Kids pool is great, daughter loves going here.
I love the y to death when it comes to playing basketball, they just need to post a calendar or something that is more accurate. I am tired of going up ready to play but denied because of adult volleyball or pickle ball.
My family has been coming here for about 2 years and we love it. There is a little bit of something for everyone and the staff are great. My kids have been utilizing other programs with the Y, such as Ys kids-afterschool program where Y workers go to their school. I really like it, because the kids are given time to do their homework, with help if they needed, they have time to play and even have an afterschool meal which is really great for the kids who may not get a meal at home. Also my kids are involved in summer camp this year and they are having a blast. They go swimming every day, a field trip once a week and there is a hidden camp area in the forest that I never knew existed, so the kids have plenty of shade and can get out of the sun.
Overall great facility and super friendly front desk. Only complaint was no cable for over 6 months when signal went digital. Also very weak WiFi which doesn’t support new treadmills. Says will be fixed mid February but based on the cable fiasco I have my doubts.
I grew up here as a kid and was on the swim team! I believe it’s great YMCA, it’s in a great neighborhood!
The staff is amazing always goes the extra mile and always willing to lend a hand. Community driven and something there for all ages to get involved in.
I really like the YMCA but I was very disappointed at how dirty the equipment was. There was a lot of dust and the equipment was dirty. I have visited other gyms and have not seen other places as dirty as the Clippard Y. The monthly rate is very expensive oppose to cheaper/cleaner gyms. Planet Fitness equipment is very clean and way more affordable. Please keep the equipment cleaned. There are a lot of people that use this equipment and a lot of people do not wipe the equipment down after use. Be very careful before members move on. Even though I really like the Clippard Y I would really like to see if cleaner.
Just love this wonderful place for my family. Options for fun things to do and such a clean place.
Just joined and Andrea could not have been more helpful.
The facility is decent with many options and three different pools. It also has a friendly staff and many friendly patrons. However, it is absolutely the worst place I have ever been to swim laps. There is a different aquatics class every other hour after 8:00 AM and they take either the whole pool or 5/6 lanes. The classes are made up almost entirely of Silver Sneakers old ladies who get free memberships. It is impossible to swim laps for over an hour unless you go at 6:00 AM or after 6:00 PM. It’s probably closer to 45 minutes because the old ladies get there early and essential force swimmers out of the pool, plus they force the teenage lifeguards to move the lane lines over early. After the class is over they just sit there for an extra 5 minutes, preventing the lifeguards from moving the lane lines back and from swimmers getting in the pool. I am sick of the people who get the free memberships having all day to go to the pool and socialize (because they rarely ever actually swim) while the paying members have to go either early in the morning or late at night. There should be a morning class and a night class, these old ladies have nothing else going on, not 5 classes a day taking up the whole pool.
Clean and terrific place!
Come join us, you will be glad you did. Everything your body and soul needs.
Awesome programs and instructors, kid friendly! Lots to do as a family!
Great staff, nearly spotless environment, many activities for adults and children.
We go out of our way to take our son here for swimming lessons. Adaptive swimming lessons for children with special needs had been fantastic.
3 pools! The indoor waterpark is a new favorite. My 2 girls and I will be back!
I love the YMCA. Its for everyone no matter age or fitness level
With my Private Swimming fees paid and Swimming Instructor not scheduling swimming class for more than 3 month, I wish I could give this location 0 review.
Very nice YMCA, just had all the floors refinished in the building. The only down side of this YMCA, there is no sauna or steam room.
A well run center with lots to offer. They are in charge of our Colerain Township Senior Center. It was a life saver when the Township could no longer support it.
Beautiful and for that reason too crowded. Yogi Berra might have said nobody goes there anymore, its too crowded
Awesome group of people that go there. Thats what keeps me there.
Has a good amount of classes you can take and a really nice workout room.
I like the swimming pool, water park with slide, fast-moving water channel, and adult volleyball in the gym!
