I cant say enough about the techs at Computer DNA! Skip the genius bar at the crowded Apple store and just come here! They are a certified Apple repair place, so they will take care of your Apple Care repairs. Ive brought 3 of my MacBook Pros here now. One, they essentially refurbished for me, and wound up charging a few hundred less than they quoted. The last repair, the one they did for me this week, they not only fixed the problem within 2 days (a display issue), but because it was under Apple Care warranty, they went ahead and replaced the keyboard, too (which was getting worn out) and that also included a new battery. The level of service there is amazing. Theyre responsive and helpful. And you can just walk right in, without an appointment. Im so grateful they are here!

Top notch! Fantastic customer service! I cant say enough praises about this place, and couldnt be more thankful I found them. I recently had water damage to my iphone Xs while traveling in Ohio, and apple wouldnt touch my phone. I thought I had lost everything (i know, should have been using the Cloud.) We recently lived and traveled in Europe for a year, so many of my pics were priceless. We live in another state, but we were so impressed with Brock and Computer DNA that we decided to leave my phone with him. It took some work, but he was able to retrieve all 50,000 photos from my damaged phone and set me up with a new one. THANK YOU BROCK!!

These guys had no problem taking my money without really fixing anything, or telling me what I had to do to deal with the computer issues I was having. Im still dealing with the exact same issues that I had before I took it there. Im not 100 percent sure what they did besides take my money. Im calling around through various channels to resolve whats going on, but basically I lost 125 bucks for these guys to open my computer up and not do anything. I wont be reaching out when yall try to follow up with this bad review, so dont even bother responding. Im just hoping I can prevent someone else from getting ripped off.

I had my computer serviced by Computer DNA a few years back and it cost me a lot of time and money, then I came back and had my Mac-book worked on. I ended up buying a Mack book from computer DNA for over a thousand dollars . Fast forward to now and I just got off the phone with them looking to buy a new computer and; they seem as if they didn’t even want to help.Like I’m spending good money with yall(I don’t get it 🤦🏽‍♂️

Thank you so much to ComputerDNA and Michael Brocker in particular. I had a recent BIG problem with a brand new iMac and wasnt getting a lot of help from Apple support. Michael went out of his way to help me with my problem and see that it was taken care of without benefit to his own company. It was just because its the right thing to do. So appreciate personal service in a world that no longer seems to put that first. Thanks again and I will be sure to be back anytime I have an issue with one of my macs!

ComputerDNA is amazing. Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!!!I have a Mac Book Pro which had run out of disc space. The model I have does not allow you to add more memory. I took it to computerDNA and they identified the problem and fixed everything. I could not be more pleased. They really went the extra mile and out of their way to identify the problem and fix it.

They got me in fairly quickly, fixed the problem and recovered my data fairly quickly. When I got my computer home there was an issue that necessitated that I bring it right back. They resolved the issue in a few minutes. They were very knowledgeable and courteous.

Had an excellent experience with these guys! SO much so I tipped in cash. Heres what happened, I went on the best vacation of my life to Alaska, then on the place ride home trying to upload pictures on social, my phone crashed. I went to 3 different places before the Apple Store in Kenwood Mall told me to go to Computer DNA. I dropped my phone off with tears in my eyes worried I was going to lose allll of my vacation photos and need to get a new phone in general. Then, with-in 24 hours they had fixed my problem- saved every single photo and video and I didnt need a new phone afterall! Proudly rockin my iPhone 10 until I cant no more ;) Deff recommend and will go back if I need to!

I went there to get my Mac fixed and they did fix it, but their costumer service was awful. The person at the front desk was very snarky and very unprofessional. He gave me an attitude, he seemed like he had other things to do so he rushed and I saw multiple eye rolls. I wasnt pleased. I went back a few weeks later because they said the problem with my laptop could happen again so they recommended I get a new one and they would transfer the data for free if I came back in 60 days. I got a new laptop and went back in the specific time gap, but they said it would cost $150. I wouldnt have a problem paying it, but they did tell me they would do it for free. The man told me to loose my attitude. I didnt have an attitude, I was frustrated and wanted to get what I was told that I would get. I was awestruck that an employee would tell me that, the customer is always right. He told me to find proof, I got my receipt and went back in and showed the man. And when he realized I was right, he was very snarky. I dont appreciate the disrespectfulness that this business has shown me. I definitely wont be coming back nor would I recommend this place to anyone.

No one is thrilled when their phone doesnt work in the middle of a pandemic, but when I heard that ComputerDNA was one of the potential places I could take it, I knew Id be in good hands. In addition to having several protocols in place regarding numbers of patrons in their shop - as well as a set cleaning period from 12-1pm each day - they were friendly, quick and professional. Im thrilled that my phone is back in the land of the living. I look forward to working with them again in the future.

I have Apple Care+ for my Macbook Pro and wanted to use a local vendor to replace the defective battery. Despite having an appointment and a still operating computer. computerDNA requires they keep my laptop while waiting for the part. This makes the time without my otherwise functioning the computer equivalent to mailing to Apple. So, with such draconian policies, I recommend finding a different provider.

Not helpful at all. I walk in with a question and all they say is “we’re not working on iPhones right now.” Then I asked if they could at least tell me if they’ve heard of my problem before and they basically just tell me to leave because they’re “not dealing with iPhones right now.” Huge waste of gas.

These guys did a good job diagnosing my problem and offering solutions. In the end I bought a refurbished machine and junked mine. They are good at advising you on what machinery you should fix and what is not worth the money.It’s a Very clean and professional storefront and polite articulate staff.Also very good phone communication along the way. They called and gave me options and updates throughout the job.

I was extremely stressed out. Despite my novice-like attempts to properly backup my information, I had failed to protect much of my vital business information. Thats when I found Victor and the team at computerDNA.The first thing he did was assure me that all was not lost. Big relief! Within 24 hours, I had my computer back in hand, with more storage and a backup plan suggested by VIctor.Unfortunately, the ordeal didnt stop there. During an out-of-town trip, I discovered that there was another issue that was taking up all of my disk space. Back to Victor I went. The team quickly diagnosed the problem, and 24 hours later, I have the iMac back, fully functional and doing what I need to run my business. The only genius decision made by the folks at the Mac Store was referring me to these experts.When all hope was seemingly lost, Computer DNA saved the day. I went to the Mac store and they told me my hard drive was toast (which is annoying, since I take really good care of my laptop). Worst of all, it looked like my data was all going to be lost as well, since Ive never really used the time machine feature.Computer DNA not only replaced the hard drive of my computer to make it fully functional again, but also recovered every single file on my computer. When I opened it up again for the first time, it was like nothing had ever happened. Photos, work files, everything - all fine and functional. And as a testament to their success, Im writing this review happily on my revived macbook.So Kudos to Computer DNA. Not only are they entirely talented at computer repair, but theyre really nice too. It was a really comforting experience to take my computer here after I thought my whole digital life had suddenly ended. They helped me stay calm and never talked down to me once. As somebody with limited technical knowledge, I really appreciated that most of all.They rock!

Went there with a old laptop right before the holidays that I was ready to invest in repairs. They talked me out of them and I left with $0 given to them...who does that?! I, along with my family, had very positive experiences in the past. However, the last experience was very mixed. The technician was GREAT. The check-in person, however, was extremely passive-aggressive.....he was impatient with questions (of course there was a grilling party going on outside) and my impression was that he did not value my business. It seems that if you have a service-oriented business, a customer shouldnt feel as if they should drop dead. Also, when one is spending over $100, one should be entitled to ask questions about the work done. (At minimum wage, one would have to work more than a day to pay for service.)

Terrible service. Took a MacBook Pro to them for repair. They said the logic board failed which would be about a $700 part, and when repairing that they could also replace the display/screen for free under an Apple extended service program. $900 later I got the laptop back, and it was not working properly. Took it to the Apple store next, they said ComputerDNA did not follow Apple recommended procedures for the repairs. And it seems like they broke more stuff in the process of their failed repair!When I got the repair ticket back from the Apple store repair the service completed included Apple replacing the logic board again (correctly this time), but also replaced the screen again as the ComputerDNA repair was faulty *and* had to replace the top case as the trackpad was now malfunctioning. Skip these guys and go straight to Apple. Their services are not faster, not cheaper, and clearly inferior to Apple.

I lost all my data and pictures in a recent update on my iPhone. I went to three different places before I discovered Computer DNA, but no one was has helpful, empathic and knowledgable as them! AND they recovered everything!!!!!! AMAZING!!!! Not to mention, they have excellent customer service and wonderful prices. I am so thankful for this place! I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!!!

What a terrible experience. A few months ago I dropped off my MacBook at Computerdna for service, but unfortunately forgot to pick it up. When I came back, I was told the store had a policy to dispose of unclaimed items after 90 days, and my computer had been recycled.I was stunned - I should have picked it up earlier, but it never occurred to me that they would throw my laptop - my property - away. The staff claimed they tried to contact me, but searching both my voicemail and email inbox I was unable to locate any such communication. No one seemed to feel they had done anything improper, and I was offered no apology or even admission of wrongdoing. An email to the president of the company subsequently went unanswered.Ive lost my laptop and over a years worth of data because of this. I will never give this company my business again.

Excellent, timely service! Hard drive went bad, needed new computer anyway so got a great refurbished MacBook Pro and they helped me restore from time machine. I didnt miss a beat! Knowledgable on all things Apple/Mac related. Genius Bar speaks very highly of Computer DNA and refers business to them, which really says something.

I came in just before the store’s 5pm closing time today and received very professional and accommodating service from Brock, the service manager. I brought in my Macbook, which was having display issues, and was in desperate need of quick repair seeing as I need this laptop for school. He went above and beyond to find a solution as I waited, and gave me a very fair price for the replacement part and labor. Extremely pleased with such great service, especially in such a timely fashion. Will be coming back!

After a disastrous experience that left me literally crying outside of the Apple Store in Kenwood, I emailed computerDNA. They replied quickly and were beyond fantastic and accommodating of my needs via email, and in store as well. Brock emailed with me back and forth to answer all of my questions, and assured they could accommodate my needs and replace the battery in my macbook while I waited, something no other place was able to do.The store itself was easy to find with signs out front, parking was easy, and inside the store was clean and quiet. Nobody else was in there when I arrived, and the staff person was able to communicate with me in a way that again accommodated my needs. They were very patient with me too. (Unfortunately did not get their name but thank you!)They were able to replace my battery in maybe ten minutes while I sat and waited, and the final price was actually cheaper than originally quoted which was a bonus. I cant say it was cheap, but its an apple product, and Id happily have paid even more than that to not have been without my laptop for days at a time. Id say the environment, customer service, and immediate turnaround are well worth the cost. I dont think Id have paid less at the Apple Store.I have never left a review before but I am so so grateful for this place and their help. They were accommodating of my disability and needs, and able to complete the repair while I waited, since I could not be without my laptop for days like everyplace else was quoting. On top of that, the store itself was calm and clean, which was a massive breath of fresh air in comparison to Kenwood Mall.Ill definitely be back here if I ever need another repair, and Ill be telling everyone I know to come here as well. Thank you so so much!PS. There were steps, so unless there is an alternative entrance the store is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. But everything else was amazing.
