I took my very particular ten-year-ok’d son here for a haircut. Miranda really took the time to listen to his requests and kept us informed about her thought process throughout. She worked off a photo we brought wonderfully. He LOVES his haircut. When we left he said it was the best haircut he’s ever gotten. She also have him some tips on how to handle his cowlick. My soon said I should have tipped her $1000. Thanks Miranda! We’ll be back.

Booked an appointment online and showed up to nothing being set up and no openings available. Staff waited 10+ minutes to greet/ask name before communicating even though the same issue already happened once in the first hour of being open. Won’t be returning to this brand/location.

I used to work here and theyll say that after you leave theyll be professional and say a professional response as to why youre not working for their barbershop anymore. The manager Montana has really pushed away good stylists because of his condescending tones. Theyre so adamant about how their brand looks they wont even let someone with blue hair get a haircut inside, let alone a woman. When they say they dont discriminate, they most certainly do.After I volunteered to quit, they started telling all of my clients the REAL reason why I quit. And Montana would say she quit due to pregnancy/health problems and not say something in a more professional manner.If youre a stylist that loves self expression, and to wear your hair in fun colors and wear punky clothes, I most certainly would not work here.

Ive been coming here for almost 3 years now and they are the best around. I got married a few weeks ago and they offer services for a Grooms Party. They basically closed the store for me and my guys to get haircuts and party down in their rec room in the basement. Great time! If you go there I highly recommend Susan, but Ive booked with all of them and theyre all great.

Ive been here three times now, twice I got my hair cut by Montana, once by Suzie. Both did a really great job. Highly recommend and will continue to return here!

Roosters used to be my favorite place to go. The atmosphere is nice, the workers are kind, and I would get some of my best haircuts from there. Yet the second I was forced to switch stylists because the one I normally went to was fired, it immediately became a place I will never go to again. The only reason it even gets 2 stars is because of my “once upon a time” good experiences. If you have any interest in a newer style haircut or do not want to look like a typical middle aged white man who secretly hates his life, this is NOT your place. I’d sooner go to a butcher shop to get my haircut than I would here again.

This place is the read deal! A men’s barber shop, great furniture and decor, clean, relaxing, masculine and modern. I’ve been here twice now, but yesterday (1/26/20) was my first time with Suzie as my barber. I cannot say enough good things.They immediately served me coffee, and while waiting, I began conversing with both stylists/barbers that were present. Both women were welcoming, engaging fun and professional.Suzie did everything right. She spoke to me about my haircut (wants, needs, expectations etc...) and then described to me exactly what she was going to do to my wavy, and sometimes challenging to cut hair. Before the cutting even started she gave me excellent hair-care advice.The cut, shampoo, condition, scalp massage and scrub were all top-notch. Suzie is extremely talented. A $75 cut for $28.But what really set this place apart was the conversation. Both stylists were very engaging and fun, so much so that it felt more like I was having aconversation with my friends.I cannot say enough good things about my experience, and will definitely be returning.

We had four of us here the day of my buddies wedding. We all received a top notch haircut and shave. When the groom didnt feel that his shave was close enough, they were happy to make it right for him. Nice place, it was a great time. They have a basement lounge that we were able to use to get ready for the wedding.

I always have a good experience when at Roosters. They are professional and clean. The ladies I have dealt with always listen and are helpful making sure the style suits me.It is a bit expensive for me but always worth it.

I have an 11” beard and was very satisfied with the knowledge and recommendations from Amanda regarding today’s trim with a longer beard. I wholly recommend Amanda for beard/mustache care.

I have gone to Roosters for years, in a number of different states. This is one of the best. I am a professional, I want a haircut that reflects that. When entering some shops, and the staff looks like a freak show, it gives me little confidence that I can even communicate my needs. This Roosters is NOT THAT PLACE. Neat, clean, with professional presentation.Jim is a magician with a cut and a shave. If you have never experienced a professional shave, do yourself this favor.

I had a fantastic haircut by ishmailla. She gave a great deal of attention to give a sharp hairstyle and clean beard trim. I highly recommend to come and ask for her.

Even took my groomsmen there before my wedding this year for haircuts/shaves prior to my wedding and they each raved about the experience. Will be a lifetime customer!

Worst haircut ever.

This place is the best! I upgraded from Great Clips to Roosters and am overjoyed I made that decision. Roosters in Mariemont has an excellent environment for getting a haircut. When youre getting youre haircut youre sure to get the old school feel of a barber shop while at the same time enjoying a modern haircut. Going here instead of Great Clips is like upgrading to first class on an airplane. You wont regret it. Its an even better deal though because personal care + great experience beats out the great experience of an airplane hands down. The experience of Roosters is relaxing, welcoming, and refined. My hair stylist is Ishmalia. I could not be more happy with her service! Shes a great person as well as a great stylist! I went there my first day after going to Great Clips for years and asking to get my hair just trimmed all around, and she helped me to choose a style for my hair and she has done a great job cutting it ever since. I highly recommend Ishmalia and the establishment as a whole.

I spent $40 for a beard trim and haircut. The beard trim was really good but the haircut sucked it was very uneven and I had really bad razor burn on my forehead for 4 days. They probably have good barbers there but the bigger gentleman with a beard avoid.

Great haircut in a great atmosphere. Hannah does a fantastic job, and always cuts my hair exactly how I want it. I love the hot towel on my face as my hair is washed. I walk out of there feeling great every time.

Sweet grandmothers spatula! Roosters Mens Grooming is without a doubt the best mens haircut company in the Cincinnati region. When I moved to Cincinnati, I wanted to find a conveniently located haircut place for men with reasonable prices, where the inside was clean, my haircut (albeit simple) is going to be consistent, and the business typically used scheduled appointments (so that I dont have to sit and wait for a long time when I get there). Needless to say, the Mariemont Roosters Grooming Center checked off all of those boxes, and Penelope consistently gives the best haircut around (Im sure all the other employees are terrific). Yes, the prices at Roosters are slightly higher than others around, but the added standard services (warm face towel + washing your hair after the cut = feels amazing and you dont have to worry about all those hair specs all over the place) are more than worth it...its all of these little things put together that make Roosters Grooming Center a very handsome choice for men in the Cincinnati area. I’ve seen almost all of the stylists here and you can’t go wrong with any of them.They listen to what you want and exceed expectations. When I can, I use the mobile app to book my appts with Susan. I’m disappointed in my thinning hair at a young age and it makes me a needy client. Instead of telling me I’m not thinning like stylists at other shops have, Susan understands my discontent and cuts/styles my hair & beard in a way that makes me feel more confident when I see them in pictures. If you can leave a place saying “it’s not that bad” about an insecurity, why wouldn’t you continue going back?

I have been a customer for years and have yet to be disappointed. Staff is professional and engaging. Prices are reasonable, but perhaps the biggest upside is that there is relatively little overturn in staff, meaning you can be confident your favorite person will still be there next time.

Terrible results. Im in town for a funeral, and needed to get cleaned up. I searchednthe reviews and seemed confident, especially when paying $48. I asked for a TRIM and got butchered by the barber. And its an easy cut, zero fade to a 1, and trim my beard. And Im only 3 weeks from my last cut, so its not all ovwegrown or anything. He was going to.leave a very distinct line around my head instead of fading it. He dropped the comb like 3 times, and the guard on the clippers fell off 2xs. Beard was obviously asymmetric and jagged around my jaw line. I feel sorry for him b/c I think he has carpal tunnel syndrom or arthritis, so I still tipped him phat. I didnt say anythjng at the end b/c the only fix was to take more hair off, and I didnt want to do that. Just be careful. They have good reviews, I musta just got unlucky.
