Ive had three haircuts here, all of them by Tom. Ive been extremely happy with two of them. Give me a second to explain this… I got my first haircut about six weeks ago, and was very happy with it, let it grow out, and then went back about two weeks ago to ask him to do that same haircut except leave the top a little bit longer. He did exactly what I asked, did an amazing job of it, I was very happy with the haircut when I left, but unfortunately that didnt last as the hair grow out. A few days later, I started to think that I didnt like the way the hair looks now that had grown out. I called in to the shop and didnt get an answer, but had to go and take care some other errands and ended up putting it off for the next day. The next day, almost a full week after I got my haircut I went in and said that I wasnt really happy with the way that it looks now that itd grown out. We had talked initially about the fact that I didnt know exactly what hairstyle I wanted, but I wanted to try out something a little different with the longer top. He spent 30 minutes with me correcting it, and getting the hairstyle exactly the way that it was with the first haircut, the exact length and style that I really liked. I went to pay him he actually wouldnt accept it, including letting me tip him for his time. I wouldve expected him to give me a discount after so short a turnaround but I had never imagined he would do it all for free. I think it really speaks to the quality and the character at the barbershop, and as long as Im on the east side Tom is gonna be my go to . If you need a good barber shop, call ahead check them out making appointment, or stop on and they take walkins!

I moved into town 3 years ago and this business was recommended as a qualified traditional barber shop. Sherri, the barber, is not only fantastic at her craft, but she has become a friend and confidant. Exactly how it should be. Conversation in the waiting room is friendly and open.The atmosphere has a classic small town barber shop feel. I always feel refreshed and in style when I leave. Hidden gem. Give em a shot, You wont regret it!

Sherri cut my hair about a month ago. I received many complaints on it. I am looking forward to my next haircut soon. The barber shop is very clean and she is very entertaining while cutting your hair. Stop by and see Sherri for a great haircut.

Did a Google search for barbers in my area. Hughs was one one of the few with a website. Dropped by for a shearing. Very pleased! Theyre my new go-to when I need to have my ears lowered.

Didnt even go in to get my hair cut cause as soon as I pulled up a girl walked out rude af telling me to move my car. When the sign says customer parking. So never goin there again.
