This is by far the best mechanical experience I have ever had. We were given more than our moneys worth and the fix itself was quick and well communicated to us. I cant praise this business enough, everything was done to perfection. We will definitely be using this service whenever we need work done.

Ive had nothing but great experiences with Daves! Senan does great work, charges honest prices and is excellent at communicating. Hes always up front about costs and delivers his professional opinion in a clear but kind way. Ive had my fair share of bad experiences with other mechanics, so I went into my first experience at Daves a little guarded and came out knowing I could take Senan at his word. I cant recommend this shop enough, especially to any woman who is skeptical of mechanics.

Had over $1,000 work done on the car. After picking it up the splash guard under the engine was broken and is falling of the car. Year ago a mechanic did not put the panel on right and it fell off on the highway. That shop replace the part no questions asked. Dave said he did not damage the panel and I hit something to cause it to rip. I would have noticed if I hit something, I said. His suggestions on zip ties or pulling it off completely was even less of a confidence builder. I told him about the last time this happened and his response was if you get the part I will put it on. Now I have to spending an extra $80 on a new panel that was not broke before the work was done and is now falling off the car. But on the plus side I will be putting it on myself and from now on I will be doing my own oil changes. Still looking for a good mechanic. Its not the money but the principle.

Can’t recommend this mechanic enough! My car’s alternator went out as I was leaving work and I was desperate to find a mechanic still open and able to tow. He called me to let me know when he had gotten my car and took a look at it. Fixed my alternator within two days (just had to locate a part) and updated me throughout the process. Car’s been running great since then. Very reasonable prices and great at communication, highly recommend!

So I am a female and my best friend used this garage to have her car worked on. She was treated right by nice people and the price was minimal compared to her quotes as it was with mine! My ac compressor went out and I took it to a garage here in Independence where I live and they quoted me 1400 minimum! Im on workmans comp so I dont have that kind of money. I took it to Daves, dropped it off Wed around noon and it was done by Thurs morning! Not to mention Daves saved me at least 550.00 that Im aware of! They are amazing, kind, good with their work and fast! I appreciate them and will drive from Ky to them for ALL of my vehicles needs!

I moved here a year ago. I have two friends. Only one has a car of the two and he recommended me this business! I was in a pickle leaving work. I knew my brakes have stopped!! I had never been to this shop and I drove there after hours. I left my car there with keys taped in the wheel well. I had my boyfriend who picked me up bring tape.I called Dave’s the next day first thing in the morning and Senan picked up! We had never met before and I told him what I did. I didn’t know the shape of the car and what needed to be done. He called me back soon to tell me details. I told him I needed a day to decide. I called back the next day with more questions. I waited another day again. He was really patient and informative. I really appreciate his expertise. I would recommend and come back anytime. Been going here regularly for about 8 months and had 6 or so repairs of various costs. Ive always been well taken care of. Im told up front whats up and Im told the best/most affordable repair route, never overcharged or talked into doing anything I dont need to. theyre busy a lot so repairs can take a couple days, but theyre busy because theyre good. cant recommend enough

I have been recommended this place and seen all the good reviews so I decided to give Senan a call to schedule a service. Needed rear brake pads and rotors replaced and a oil change. I drive a Cherokee Trailhawk, so with that, comes a little extra work. With that being said, Senan didn’t gouge me, he actually saved me some cash compared to quotes from other places. I dropped it off and it was all done same day. Incredible considering he’s the only one who works there. So I was completely satisfied with this process. I can’t thank Senan enough and I’m grateful for him. I highly recommend anyone needing a car repair, to go here and get your car serviced. Family owned local business. Real fast service. Swapped out the back two tires in about 20 minutes on the spot for 75 each installed. Had some pretty good quality used tires and a selection of new ones as well. 10/10 will definitely come back.

Last weekend I had one of the most frustrating car experiences. I blew one tire, got the spare on, then .5 miles later blew the second one. I called one of my friends who HIGHLY recommended Daves and I can definitely see why. Senan was so calm and patient that it immediately helped me calm down. He gave me multiple options to find the solution that worked best for me and had me out in 20-30 mins which was greatly appreciated after having gone through a couple of hours already with trying to use a spare and waiting on a tow truck once the second tire blew. I cant recommend Daves enough!

Im a delivery driver whos less than two months away from his daughters wedding, so needless to say, it was disheartening when my car broke down during my shift in Saturday. Having never heard of Daves Auto Care, I picked them at random out of a Google search and boy, am I glad! They had a tow truck out to me in about 20 minutes and Sinan told me hed get back to me later that day. He called around 5 pm to let me know it was the passenger side of the axel, quoted me a max price of about $700 and told he hed get started on it first thing Monday. At 11 am Monday he called to tell me that not only was the car done, but the total cost was over $150 less than his quote! I am taking all my future auto repairs to Daves. Theyre quick, reasonable, professional and courteous, and my car runs great! Awesome work!

I am new to the Norwood area and was looking to get my oil changed on my work car. I tried to make an appointment at Firestone up the road but saw “Dave’s auto shop” and decided to see what services they offered. Senan answered the phone and was so nice and told me to bring my car up what ever time I wanted. I didn’t need my car back at any specific time, but he called back an hour later saying it was ready. Being a female, I always get worried about mechanics trying to sell me something I don’t need. Senan was amazing and was honest... so just an oil change and recommendation to replace some tires before the winter season. Will be going back to get my tires replaced and will be taking my personal car there as well. Highly recommend this place... might not be Firestone but it’s a quaint, reliable, honest local auto shop. Thanks for the oil change and donuts!

Honesty goes a long way. And before biting off more than they can handle, Dave’s Auto would instead suggest that you explore other options even if it means they lose out on business. However, as well versed, knowledgeable, diligent as this business is; there’s little to nothing that they can’t do.

I was having a terrible Monday, flat tire and then my car wouldnt start. Their tow services was fast and friendly and when I got there they immediately looked at my car to see what was the trouble and saw my battery was the issue and rather than having to wait, they just fixed it. Pricing was reasonable too! For having such a bad morning they were some good luck. I will definitely be returning in the future.

He’s the man, switched out the wife’s AC line which had been split causing the ac to quit working. Diagnosed it AND saved us money by letting us know the parts we ordered and didn’t need so we could return them! So we went ahead and bought some tires from him as well which he got us taken care of for less than 1/2 the other local shops were charging. Got everything done as fast as he said he would, no hassle. Stand up guy!

Great experience. My husband had a flat tire and called all the big name tire stores. They all told him it was going to be up to 4 hours for the repair. Daves Auto Care said they could get him in right away. He went in right after work, and was there less then 15 minutes with a fixed tire. I highly recommend them, before you go to the big name repair shops that will always try and over charge you.

The best! Honest and efficient! Had my steering go out and apparently it was due to a cut in a rubber hose. They helped me out big time in fixing it and being honest about it! Repair was NOTHING compared to the dealer was attempting to charge me just for the parts i.e. Dave’s Auto was cheaper to fix than the dealer parts ASIDE from the dealer labor.Definitely trust them with my vehicles.

Took my car in to Senan thinking it had much larger issues then there were. I was told a few years back by a dealership that I needed sway bar links replaced. I told Senan I would like the steering kit replaced since I am sure it needed fixed. After inspection, Senan called and told me I needed new tires and the suspension and everything looked fine. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an honest mechanic that isnt trying to get one over on people. Will definitely return when I need more work (which is inevitable).

I called the shop RE getting my camper van towed there - it had died. Senam was quick to answer the phone, listen to me recount my issues with it, and arrange for me to drop it off the next day.When I arrived the next day with my broke down van, he went over the possibilities - talking to me like a human. I am pretty clueless when it comes to cars. I was instantly impressed that he listened to me and was able to relate to me in plain old English. As a female going to a service shop, this is not always the case. I instantly trusted him and knew he was a great mechanic.I was even under a tight deadline, and he helped me out there too. That first trip, I ended up new tires and a new battery. We also discussed additional fixes that could be made. But there was never a hard sell. Just here are some other things that you might want done.I have taken my other car there as well. Again, good, honest communications and diagnosis.I am always impressed with his service and communication. Senan is the most honest mechanic Ive ever met. He tells you not to get work done if I dont need it, and hell tell you straight if up if you need to do something or not. The only reason I wouldnt recommend this shop is to make sure he doesnt get too busy for me, but Im reality I recommend it to everyone who has a car for basically any reason.
