They performed the yearly cleaning/maintenance on our 1 yr old ductless mini split system. the tech was helpful, early, answered our questions, explained what he was doing and cleaned up after his work. And oh yes, the maintenance was very affordable for 1.5 hrs work.

The repair man was friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again.

I have used Air-Art since I moved to Chico, 4 years ago. They did the inspections on two property purchases, and do semi annual check ups of the systems. They send me reminders, which is very helpful. Their technicians are always on time, knowledgeable and give me a run down of the condition of my system .

We recently had Air Art out for our Bryant ductless mini split at our office. Our technician was great and stuck with it while working with the manufacturer to diagnose and get our air blowing cold again. He wore a face mask the whole time he was working and practiced social distancing while at our office, very much appreciated during these times. And when the factory supplied repair part made the issue worse, he was back the next business day, all during our first heat wave of the year. The office was very prompt at contacting me to let me know about my appointments as well.

I have used Air Art multiple times for both business and personal reasons. As a real estate agent, my clients often need HVAC inspections and I never trust anyone but Air Art. They are honest and knowledgeable and trustworthy. Their employees are respectful, clean and courteous. When it came time to build our home, I called Air Art and no one else. Do not hesitate to call, they are the best in Butte County.

We have used Air Art a few times, for whole house fan installation and for routine maintenance of heating and A/C systems. They are always fast, courteous and they do not make a mess! Appointments can be requested online and they do their best to meet your requests. I like their honesty. On their most recent visit for routine A/C inspection, they found an oil leak from one of the parts. But instead of recommending a new system or a new part, they figured out that the part was not even necessary and they repaired it with a “work around” for a very reasonable charge.

We are regular clients of Air-Art. They keep our HVAC system in great running order. This time we called them out to repair our AC. The local temperatures have been over 100 degrees and our AC stopped blowing cool air. The technician came out that very day, quickly assessed what was wrong and repaired it. He had the needed parts in his vehicle. We were very impressed with his professionalism and proficiency!

Called Wednesday in the heat wave, got an appointment Thursday noontime. The technician was very nice, courteous and diagnosed the part, replaced it and didnt try to sell me something else. These guys are the greatest. I always recommend them!

Good advertising, so I called Air Art first, Big mistake ! Perhaps on very simple issues theyre OK, but have an issue that needs to be diagnosed...Furnace shutting down in the coldest week, Tech comes out, I tell him that the furnace wont stay lit. He cleans a sensor inside the unit, Charges me $170. and leaves. Same problem happens within 30 minutes of him leaving, so I call their office to request that he turn around, come back and look at it again. There office reschedules me for 4 days later to have the tech come back (even though I was told it was fixed the first time)(all the while we have no heat) Insisting that the problem Must be a bad circuit board if it wasnt the sensor. (this is the second diagnosis). A few days later the tech shows up with the replacement circuit board, slides it in (about 5 minutes) and fires it up.Its the same, the second diagnosis of the circuit board was clearly wrong as well. He then decided to check the incoming gas pressure (why that wasnt the first thing he checked during diagnosis #1, knowing the unit wouldnt stay lit, I dont know, laziness ?). Chris (the Tech) decided it must be the regulator at the propane tank after comparing the pressure at the furnace then checking at the tank). Chris (the tech) knew that he should have caught that on the first visit, and knew he shouldnt charge me for the return visit, and just slipped away, with no invoice given. A week later I get an invoice in the mail from Air Art for an additional $154.00 for the second trip, (despite the fact that he misdiagnosed the problem THREE separate times, never did fix it, and left me to freeze because of their incompetence)I called and spoke with Chuck Pugh (mgr./owner) and told him he was crazy if he thought I was going to pay him for additional incompetence after some very unpleasant words, Chuck agreed to cancel the second bill. Turns out even his last diagnosis was wrong, I called our propane company out, they were there next day, took about 10 minutes to check the pressures at the unit and at the tank (just like Air Art) and decided it was not the regulator ! YA ! finally the correct diagnosis. Turns out it was a broken gas line in the ground that was restricting the gas flow.In the future Ill be using a company that will actually take the time to diagnose the issue and correctly fix it rather that bumbling around as to whats wrong and charging me to do it.

Don was the technician that inspected my A/C unit. He was professional, thorough, and friendly. Air-Art exceeded my expectations and I will be calling on them in the future.
