I am both a wax client and a model for her continuing education classes. I myself am a Licensed Massage therapist and understand the importance of having an attentive instructor and a sensitive practitioner. I trust Frances and know that I will be taken care of in all aspects. Her work space is neat, organized and suited to work best for herself and comfortable for her clients. As a model I am given clear instruction to communicate appropriately with the students and to express any and all discomforts. I can verify that her massage table is within working condition, the table warmer adds a level of comfort most practitioners dont take into consideration. This pandemic has restricted most class participation i.e. continued education, I am confident she is taking every precaution to keep everyone safe. I have no doubt she is in complete compliance with city and state regulations. I look forward to my next appointment.

I usually dont write reviews but the brazilian wax that I got last week was absolutely phenomenal AND for my first time! If youre nervous, I would definitely recommend Francis - her conversational & physical support made me comfortable enough to feel as relaxed and secure as possible during the process. Ms. Frances is phenomenal! She is not only a great teacher, she is a great mentor and esthetician as well. I met Ms. Frances while I was still in school earning my esthetician license. Since then, Ive became a client of hers as well as an employee. My experience with her has been nothing but exemplary. As a client, I am always happy with the results of her services. Im very picky about who I allow to wax me, especially brazilians! I can say, with confidence, that Ms. Frances makes any waxing experience (especially brazilians) easy, quick, and comfortable. As an employee, I really appreciate that she enjoys seeing me grow as an esthetician. She has definitely helped me improved my waxing technique and she is just so encouraging! I came here as a new Esthetician for a Brazilian wax 1 on 1 class- the session was $300 ($200 if you brought your own model but Frances insisted it’s best to use her models which I did.)I arrived 10 minutes early to my 6pm class. Frances greeted my into her place if business which to my surprise, was utterly cluttered and looked as though she lived there. She offered water, had me fill out The necessary paperwork then After a QUICK run through of protocols and procedures (100% reading slides) she suggested I wait OUTSIDE until the first model showed. Okay...The first model was fine, though after Frances made it a point to state how “ ergonomically correct” her treatment room was set up- I quickly learned that statement was for s***s and giggles- the room was cluttered, the treatment table was old, cracked, had a dangerous heating pad in a pillowcase she called a “bed warmer” and covered in a loose dingy sheet. Frances walked me through the first full Brazilian- though after mentioning I am left handed she pretty much blew it off saying “well you need to learn to adjust because you never know how someone treatment room is set up”- in my opinion, RUDE. As both a licensed instructor the FIRST thing you must understand is the students learning style. The fact that she didn’t even try to understand how I could have learned better was the final straw for me, to make matters worse- there’s wasn’t even space for me to be comfortable using my dominant side.Fast forward to the third and final model- this was rushed, super informal and I felt as though Frances, the instructor was irritated with me- the client/student. Not that I took her attitude personally- I fully understand life stressors but this was not the time nor the place.Frances was on her phone a good amount of the time, what was supposed to be a 6-9p class ended at 8:30p precisely. And after looking again at google reviews- All I got for completion was a generic and plain printer paper print off. No tshirt, no fancy certificate, no photo of my own.I don’t think this class was worth $300 and I wouldn’t suggest anyone taking it. When it comes to an instructor, 50% is creating an experience- my experience with Francis at prettykitty was far below expectations.

Amazing service

I had my very first Brazilian wax last week at Pretty Kitty. My girlfriend whos been a client for years insisted I would love it, and talked me into it. After going back in forth with Frances the Esthetician of my fear of pain and the thought of hot wax, I finally went ahead and did it. Frances was so professional during the wax, making sure I was comfortable with the wax temperature and answering all my questions that I actually forgot I was being waxed. It was over in minutes and the results were fabulous! I will now become a regular and refer all my friends to do so! Also, my husband LOVED it ;)
