Linda is a master of color. I would not have considered adding pink to my hair and it has been so fun. Linda makes an appointment an event and I always feel so pampered when I leave to drive back to the burbs. The salon is in a great location. There is always parking.

Linda is the best!! She always gives the best haircuts, and perfect color. Last time I went she gave me my dream ginger hair. Highly recommend!

Lindas (the owner) is amazing! She is a true artist who understands hair (cuts, color, and styles) and takes the time to listen and understand what you want. The salon space is hip, beautiful and inviting. I cant recommend Linda and her salon highly enough. 5 stars all the way!

At least once a week I receive a compliment from someone regarding my hair color. The last compliment that I received was that my hair looked like when a child spends the summer outside. Completely natural. Im a brunette - but since going to see Linda at Blade - my hair is much lighter - and looks like I was born with this hair color. Exactly how I wanted it to be. You will not find a better colorist in the city than Linda. Shes an artist and takes pride in her work. If you read the Blade website you will see that her training is unique. Above all - shes consistent. Ive been to other salons where the first time they color your hair it looks great and then the stylist somehow does not know how to continue after the first appointment to keep your hair healthy and looking natural or have the ability to interpret what youre asking for regarding a color or cut.The salon is reasonably priced and the atmosphere is relaxing and very zen. And if youre going to to spend a few hours somewhere - Linda is an easy person to be around. Shes intelligent and funny. And when youre hair is finished - youre ready for the red carpet. Shes that good.

I have very difficult hair to manage: very thick and coarse. I got a Keratin treatment for the summer and it changed my life. No frizzy hair! Smooth and easy to manage. Linda does a great job with Keratin, cut, and color. She is a master at knowing what will work for every type of hair. The salon also offers great brow and facial services. Blade is the best!

I havent even stepped foot in the salon and can not believe the customer service and hidden costs. I work in customer service and our office cancellation policies are clearly stated verbally on the phone prior to any appointment. You can not even see the cancellation policy on the website without scrolling to the bottom of a contact page, (which I have already contacted them, so why would I look there?) Now I do not have an appointment, and am out the cost of the appointment anyways! I would recommend to ask about this policy before scheduling. And definitely NOT scheduling on a Tuesday when they are closed Sunday and Monday if you were to even think about cancelling...

Linda at Blade is the best! I’ve been wearing her hair for nearly 20 years! I love her creativity!!! The salon is gorgeous and the prices are perfectly fair. I have no intention of ever going anywhere else!!

This is probably the only salon I trust going in and saying do whatever you want. The stylist Ive repeatedly gone to is Linda (THE BEST). You walk in there feeling blah, walk out feeling amazing. I love that she knows how to work with my thick, partially wavy asian hair. Linda is highly trained, and it definitely shows. She is a perfectionist, and will take her time to make sure your hair leaves looking perfect. Cut and Color with Linda...just do it!

Emergency call as I made the mistake of coloring my own hair. Linda and her team were so patient as they navigated my color disaster back to a head of beautiful shiny hair! If you want a true expert for color - go here! Had my brows tweaked while I was there and Dianka was the best.

Linda is the best. My hair is wiry and absolutely out of control, for advanced stylists only, but she knows just how to tame it and make it look great. She takes the time necessary to do the job right and doesnt let you leave unless you are satisfied.

Wonderful experience. I was greeted by the owner and she welcomed me and offered me tea. Beautiful place. I have had facials at Absolute Percisson Elevera MD and other places in Lakeview. For comfort and space the place was bettter then any I’ve been to. I had the most amazing esthetician Dianka Arcos who answered all my questions and did more work then any other facial I’ve ever had. She’s the Best and this place is better then any of the big name places. Give it a try you’ll be very happy with the services

I go here for facials, havent been in about a year tho :(.. anyways I started coming here from a groupon they had online, and let me tell you Dianka is the best, and only person I will ever trust on my face. She is extremely knowledgeable, super nice, and takes her time. She specializes, and treats your skin based on your skin type, btw it is also very affordable! She is God sent lol
