Definitely will come back! I got Brazilian wax and it was amazing, they were QUICK and NICE! My skin is very sensitive and I thought I would bleed, but nah! They were very retailer and careful. I also have to say I’m pregnant (7 months) and this was a great experience. I’m not saying it was not painful cause it’s wax c’mon! But it was nice and had no bleeding or swollen. 10 stars!!!

They BUTCHERED my eyebrows, and it was so painful, too! I waited an hour to be seen (no biggie, I was a walk-in) but then the lady took forever doing my brows. The entire time I kept confirming “Just cleaning then up, right?” “Not a big change, right?” like we agreed on prior to her starting. The worst part is that she said “nice brows” before she started. I know this might not be a big deal to some, but I grew my brows out for yearsssss after the 90’s thin brow trend. I was proud of how full and fluffy they were. Well, looks like I’m back in the 90’s now. The owner was rude and flippant when I demanded a refund. Upset and livid doesn’t cover it. You get what you pay for and I am paying for cheaping out. Don’t make my mistake.

I got my eyebrows threading done by Syed. She is considerate, patient and really good. She takes all the precautions to make the best eyebrow shape. Will surely be going to Syed again.

Terrible service. Went in for a 60 minute facial that we booked for 11am since it would be over by 12pm. Someone else walked in before us but did not have an appointment, the lady took the walk in, and had us waiting for 30 minutes even though she said it’d take 5-10 minutes. We had to leave since we had something else booked elsewhere at 12ish. Ended up refunding my Groupon. Lady did not seem professional or apologetic at all.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! She GLUED CHEAP FAKE EYELASHES TO MY EYELID!! these were NOT eyelash extensions!! They were FAKE eyelashes she GLUED to my eyelids!! She is not licensed!! I had to go somewhere else immediately to get them removed because she refused after I said I would pay for removal!!! The place I went to for removal were nice and professional and removed at no cost, they said there’s so much glue and it looks like nail glue. This is dangerous. I contacted Groupon for a refund. She glues dollar store clusters to your eyelids. Not eyelash extensions.

I waited an hour due to overbooking. It wasnt as clean as I hoped. Although Jeni was good I probably wont be back.

I went to Living Doll Salon to get eye lashes done since my chemotherapy 2 years ago my eye lashes didnt fully grow back and now I couldnt be happier I love the natural look they dont look to obvious fake. Thank you great service good prices. I will definitely keep going there.

Very good service. Been coming here for 4 months for eyebrows threading. I love how devoted they are. The young petite lady always does a good job with threading. She is meticulous and knows how to shape eyebrows! Sometimes she is slow but worth it! I would recommend this place:)

Treatment to my face was great. It was more of the facial massage than facial I was accustom to, but regardless it was great. I was bit anoyed by too loud of the music during the treatment( asked to lover the volume) and when other customers came for eyes brows treading i was left alone ..maybe to relax🤔

Do not go here...owner took a client without an appt and caused me to pay a sitter 15 an hour to sit in the waiting area. Thrn she continued to try and give me a service that I do not come for...eyelash extensions that ruin your lashes!!!!!I ordered individual lashes!!!!!They barely spoke english!!What a nightmare

Im torn with this review. Im rating the body waxing 1 star and the eyebrow threading 5 stars, and combined with the overall experience, my rating averages out to 2 stars.Lets start with the good. The threading was superb. Efficient, neat, and well-shaped. I didnt have to pluck any stray hairs when I got home. Incredibly well-priced for threading as well. For the body waxing, I did appreciate that they provided adequate oil and lotion afterwards to avoid feeling sticky going home.I also got a full body and Brazilian wax, though, and here is where there were problems. First of all, the waxing rooms are only semi-private because there is only a curtain between them. If two people are being waxed at the same time and you finish before the other, you have to sit in your room and wait so that you dont interrupt the other client. Further, another client accidentally came into my room while I was getting the Brazilian part of my wax because she thought it was the bathroom. Second of all, although the estheticians are very nice, they did not provide any sort of cover-up such as a towel or a gown for the rest of my body while other parts were being waxed, so I felt rather exposed and cold during the experience. Third, the wax itself was incredibly sticky (not a creamy wax) and any time I had to move positions, it was very uncomfortably and I tore the paper underneath me because I was so sticky. Lastly, the waxing itself was brutally efficient. Even during the Brazilian, the esthetician would wax large areas rather than smaller ones and cause skin pulling and a lot of pain. She had to go over the areas multiple times and I left swollen and red.Overall, I would not recommend the full body wax or the Brazilian wax, but more isolated areas such as armpit, arm, or leg might be okay if youre tempted by their low prices. I would recommend getting your eyebrows threaded here, though, since they allow walk-ins and produce really good results.

There are about 3 salons in the area but this place is the best at eyebrows. She gets it right every time. Super gentle on the skin.

I went this place for eyelash extensions and its been a week. Nobody has been able to remove these lashes, theyre painful, improperly placed and ripping out my natural lashes. Do not come to this salon. I do not believe she is licensed. There is so much glue that all of the lashes including my own have been glued together with what feels like super glue

Walked in and no one was in the front. The technician was with someone else and yelled through the wall. Another customer came in (who had the same appointment time as me) and we were both staring at each other wondering what was going on. A second technician finally walked in, and helped. I waited over 30 minutes.

I really like how soft my skin feels after a facial from the Living Doll Salon. I would always go here for my eyebrows during my days at UIC. I decided to see what their facial was like today. There was some language barrier because i wanted to get my blackheads expressed, which did not happen. But, regardless, the facial left my skin feeling amazing. The products the lady used smelled really natural and soothing. She massaged my face real well too which relieved a lot of stress. The facial was a little messy and they didnt give me a robe to wear so my hoodie got a little dirty. Im thinking that should come out... hopefully. They have a special deal this month for a $30 facial. I only paid $30 for this facial and I think for that price it was fantastic. I will definitely be going back for another.

Ive been getting my eyebrows threaded since I was a teenager and never have I felt so loyal to a place as I have to Living Doll Salon. Ive been coming here for about two years now and I highly recommend it. Asha truly takes her time shaping your eyebrows and making them look like stylish twins rather than disheveled sisters. I always thought threading was painful and uncomfortable until I started coming here. They are gentle, take their time, and truly know their craft.

Indian lady working there is good on Monday and Tuesday but try not to go Wednesday to Friday because you gonna see this old lady do horrible eyebrows, plus she’s rude too.

Please do not go to this place! The lady did not thread the brows properly and when I asked to clean it the stray hair that were showing, she was not willing to do it. This place also does not give you a receipt! So basically they pocket it all! Extremely rude and unprofessional staff.

I really do like this place, but I just went in and I basically tweezed my own eyebrows. She said she has been working there four months, and she absolutely ruined my eyebrows...she didn’t know how to thread. Very disappointed. I paid full price to tweeze my own eyebrows.
