Great doctor … one of the very best Chicago has to offer

Dr. Seidman and his staff really went the extra mile to make me feel safe and secure in the Covid environment. Dr. Seidman and his assistant were double masked with glasses and gloves. There is also an air moving system in each exam room and common areas. Also, the cleanings and dental work are of the highest quality!!

Dr. Seidman you probably wont remember me however, you put in a 12 tooth upper bridge 40 years ago. At the time I worked in the Wrigley Building. Since then, I have lived in Detroit, Michigan, Jackson, Tenn, and now reside in Atlanta Georgia. I wish you were here. I wanted anyone to know that is considering you for dental alternatives that this bridge has not moved in 40 years. During this time I have not always had professional cleaning in a timely fashion but flossed and used battery-powered toothbrushes and a water pik. Among other things, I am known for my smile and Im now 70 years old. Thank you so much.

This office was amazing! Dr. Seidman is not my primary dentist but I went there when I had a veneer fall off ( originally applied by another dentist). They got me in right away and took amazing care of me. Explained everything thoroughly and made me feel extremely comfortable. I highly recommend this office! You are in great hands with them!

I made an appointment and was told that Delta was out of network. I was reassured by Nicole at the front desk that even through it was out of network, that the services were covered in full and would be reimbursed (I had to prepay). I asked before, during and after the appointment if I had to call or deal with the insurance for this. She said no, they take care of everything and everything would be covered.The first visit was $487 and the insurance is only covering $236 or $286 (I forget)... the insurance said that because theyre out of network, they dont agree to the contractual agreements for what gets covered at what cost. When I reached out to Nicole regarding the issue, she was nice enough, not rude, but ultimately ultra defensive and basically said its not my problem, I told you this and that....I take responsibility for listening to them and not doing my own research, so o well Im out a few hundred $$, Ill live. The disappointment really comes in in their blatant lying about what is covered, what cost and promise to verify with the insurance prior to providing any services.Terrible way to run a business.PS --- the doctor never got involved or reached out to apologize or anything. Collected money, saw me 5 minutes (assistants did everything) and went on his way.

I have been going to Dr Seidman for over 20 years and have never had a bad experience. Very friendly staff and always easy to get an appointment. I highly recommend him if you are looking for a dentist in the downtown or Michigan Avenue area..

I chipped a front tooth when traveling to Chicago. The staff worked me in and treated me wonderfully. Dr. Seidman would not finish until that tooth looked like it never had broken.Of course being from out of town I paid upon the visit and they billed my insurance company for reimbursement.Very good, beautiful office, nice staff and I wish he was my regular dentist!

I no longer have anxiety about dental appointment as the services and atmosphere at Smile Chicago are state of the science performed in a relaxing friendly manner.

Warning: Get a second opinion before going with this dentist! I had my veneers done here and although they looked wonderful at first they are not functional at all. They have fallen off so many times and Dr Seidman was very dismissive of what might be the problem. Finally after years and multiple reattachments by Dr Seidman I got a second opinion and it looks like Dr Seidman damaged the underlying tooth and did not pay attention to my bite- his inattentiveness now means that I have to get thousands of dollars worth of painful work (two root canals, gum reconstruction, etc) and can’t bite down with my front teeth.

Sheldon Seidman DDS is a serious, caring, consummate professional in everything he does! I suspect there isnt a better dentist anywhere!
