My experience was incredible! I was a first time patient with Stone Dental, and they took very good care of my teeth. I look forward to going back, even if it is to get a cavity filled.

Ive been to this dentist every 6 months for almost 3 years now and have had 3 different dentists. Nothing is consistent. Also, each time something is wrong with my teeth. Maybe so, but in the 35 years prior, Ive always had a perfect bill of health. This previous visit, I was to pay in cash as Id hit my insurance maximum. The billing department was giving me a special discount but when I asked what my insurance contracted rate was, suddenly my bill was $40 lower than the discount. That experience makes me wonder how many other times Ive been overcharged and if this business is finding excuses for unnecessary procedures.The Dentist is nice and appears thorough, but Id approach with caution.

Pristine clean exam rooms, professional, but casually friendly staff. Dental hygienists are thorough, gentle and accommodating. A great teeth cleaning boutique!

I cannot recommend Stone Dental enough. Dr. Azim and her team are fantastic. They take the time to explain, make sure you are comfortable and care about your experience as a patient. The office is clean and bright and they have been taking COVID protocols very seriously. My overall experience was wonderful and I would absolutely recommend this practice!

Easy scheduling, awesome hygienist who spent a long time showing me photos of my teeth, explaining them and then cleaning. Dentist was thoughtful and spent time answering my questions. Everyone was very professional. Office was clean and bright. Would highly recommend.

Everyone was super nice and welcoming, and the actual x-ray/exam and cleaning were quick & efficient! My only problem was that I wasnt seen until about 30 minutes after my appointment time. It was fine because I didnt have anything going on that day, but also not ideal. Other than that everything was perfect!

I had been searching for a good dentist for two years. After floating around I found Stone...location, friendliness, but most of all truth and professionalism. Each and every time after my appointments I left feeling that my situation is being addressed and that my goals, that were set from my initial appointment are being reached. Impressive

The entire staff is attentive and helpful throughout all aspects from scheduling, to the visit, to billing, etc. Dr. Akbar is amazing, very thorough and detail oriented. Takes her time to answer all questions and explain recommendations. I love seeing her! I have also seen Dr. Cheng and Dr. Azim for brief visits and they were great as well! Liz at the front desk/billing is always super helpful and explains everything. So happy to have found this dental team to keep my teeth healthy :)

Stay away from this office. Believe what you saw in other negative reviews on Yelp. They messed up with the insurance requirements and will do service to you that your insurance would not cover. Also another thing you need to be aware is, if you ask them if they would accept the insurance you have, they would tell you they do accept it - but that could mean they are out of the network but they will file the claim to your insurance company anyway. Expecting extra bills if your insurance dont pay. (My insurance provider is one of the biggest in the nation. It surprised me when my insurance said they are not in the network) But that is not the worst part. The worst part is, when the insurance claim misses important documents from them thus deny the claim, they said it is you, the patients, 100 percent responsibility for that. I have seen people like me, that got harassed with incredibly high bills after the service. It seemed that my review on yelp is being hidden. Hope google wont do the same thing! Disgusting!

Dr. Azim is an amazing dentist. She is very professional, kind and skilled. She takes her time with the patient and answers questions thoroughly. Her staff (Monica, Lisa, Liz and Seidy) are all very courteous and efficient. The office is extremely clean and all of the necessary measures are being taken to prevent Covid-19 infections. I cannot say enough about how wonderfully well they treat their patients.

The office space was extremely easy to get into. It was connected to a hospital. There is a validated parking garage. The interior of the dental offices is really beautiful and calming. The area with the actual dental chairs have huge windows and the chairs have a light massage going on in the back.The staff were all very knowledgeable and friendly. I have already come back to get some fillings replaced and have recommended it to my friends.I had Dr. Cheng and he was really great. Quick, painless, and honestly kind of fun to be around.Thanks guys!

I had a chipped front tooth. I was able to get an appointment right away. The doctor was so down to earth very professional and did such a great job. She really was looking out for my best interest and told me about the pros and cons of a front tooth chip. My tooth looks sooooo good better then it did 10 years ago. I am going back for sure.

Ive been to many different dentistry practices, where most were horrible experiences. Stone Dental has been amazing to me since my first appointment. I absolutely love Dr. Akbar, and all of the staff at Stone Dentistry. You are greeted as soon as you walk in, and I havent had to wait long at all for my appointment to get started. Dr. Akbar was honest and showed me everything wrong with my teeth and how she would fix it. They are nonjudgmental and dont do unnecessary work on you (which I have experienced many times in the past). Dr. Akbar and the dental assistants are always reassuring; they continually ask if youre feeling okay, if nothings hurting, if anything feels out of place, etc and try to fix anything that feels off. Im so sad that I can only experience this dental practice for less than a year before I have to move away from Chicago. Thank you Stone Dental!

I was greeted by name. I was taken promptly. The entire staff was friendly and professional. Dr Chang was very thorough and pointed out several issues to be aware of and gave me clear direction on how to address them. Ive been going to Stone Dental for a few years and have seen several different dentists during that time. Dr Chang is by far the most thorough. And he was very nice. Ill definitely return.

First, they have massaging chairs. No need to say more about that. Everyone there was very nice, clear about what they were doing and honest. Kept things real and didnt judge. Eric and Dr. Cheung (Chang) cant recall were awesome!

Dr.Azim is hands down the best dentist I have ever had! She is thoughtful, nice, and considerate of your time! I also want to give a shoutout to the staff she hired. They all greet you with a smile and make you feel welcome. Out of all the staff my favorite is their receptionist Liz. She does a great job at finding a day and time that fits with your schedule. I was going to a dentist that was just taking advantage of my insurance so you could imagine I was a little apprehensive about going to a new one. I must say the staff here is AMAZING. Eric was absolutely amazing, and Liz was able to accommodate me last min and was pretty understanding as I have a rough schedule. I have been going to Stone Dental for years. I know I am receiving top care. In addition they accept my insurance and even when I did not have insurance coverage they will try to work out a payment plan. All Dentists take care of the most serious issue first and works within your budget and if you have insurance, your plan as well. In addition I rarely had any pain and if you have a emergency they do their best to get you in to see the dentist as soon as possible.A few years ago I started having tooth pain at 6:00 Saturday evening. I called first thing Monday morning and they problem tooth was addressed that morning.

I have been going to Stone Dental Group for over two years and continue to be impressed. I am still amazed at how Eric, my hygienist, manages to scold my lack of proper dental hygiene techniques without making me feel like an idiot. He always asks if anything hurts and changes tactics if i say yes. He has explained how to floss each time with slow patience.Dr. Assudani treated my cavities, again making me feel at ease the entire time. I am not a fan of going to the dentist but, if i must, I will stick with Stone Dental.

Dr Cheng and Dr Nasrin are exceptional. Coming from someone who hates going to the dentist, I feel this is a big deal. I was trying to be ripped off by another dentist but Dr Cheng was more than understanding, reasonable, and honest about the amount of work I needed while being considerate to my wallet. Recommended a few friends already.

Eric my hygienist is very thorough explains everything in detail and always teaches me how to floss, to make sure Im doing it properly, every single visit. I love that they have an intra oral camera which shows me exactly whats going on in my mouth. Dr. Azim always explains everything in detail along with the pictures and the xray. The staff is very friendly and always accommodates me, although I have a very hectic schedule. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a dentist adentist, friendly staff, and an amazing hygienist.
