We held our first in-person event in over a year for our real estate brokers and reserved the co-working and terrace space and it could not have been a better experience! The space was beautiful and perfect for our needs. Expansive does a wonderful job following Covid cleaning protocols which made our group feel safe and excited to be together in-person.Marne was an amazing help from start to finish and made sure we had everything we needed to make our event successful! I moved into an office at Novel in August 2020. After a few months of trying to work from home along side my wife in our 1 bedroom apartment I quickly realized we needed another solution. Novel had so many great locations so it was easy to find one a short walk from our apartment. I looked at 4 other co-working businesses in Chicago and none came close in pricing or general value. The flexibility of Novel has been super helpful. I love the staff. I would HIGHLY recommend Novel for anyone looking for an officiant or co-working solution.

Exactly what you want out of a co-working space. Cost effective, utility consistency, and a clean workspace with nice amenities. Support staff and community management is top notch. Couldnt ask for better.

I’m IN LOVE with not just my new space, but the supporting community in Novel. From the first people you get to meet at this location to the other businesses and their awesome people I get to be around. The staff is a 5 start from the managers to the maintenance workers. Highly energetic and lots of positive energy keeps me motivated without mentioning the expreso machine and all the other amenities Novel offers! My massage and fitness business, Total Body Solutions, has been at Novel Coworking Superior for two months now and it has been a wonderful experience. Brent, the sales manager helped me find just the right space to meet my needs and fit my budget. Shout out to Marne the Office Manager for being responsive and helpful as I moved in and fine tuned my space. She is a problem solver! Thanks, Marne for making me feel at home and getting things done. Not to mention keeping the coffee machine running smooth and the snacks stocked! :-)

My favorite of the co-working location in Chicago (and Ive tried many!). Spacious, great outdoor space, super flexible. Great vibe - and courtesy - between the other professionals. Marne and Brent make everyone feel welcome. Really grateful to have them open as we cross Labor Day and into the covid fall and winter!

Excellent space, well managed. The management (Marne) is very friendly and helpful, the sale rep (Brent) was very open and nice in showing many different options for our business. What i like the most with novel Co-Working, and in particular at this location (405 Superior St, Chicago) is the flexibility it gives me for my business. I can switch from different office sizes whenever I need to support the growth of the business. They also organize or help organize events (live music, open house nights,...), which is nice to help retaining resources since it is a young crowd, well located, and do not forget the free beer on tap (nice after a long work day)!

This month, I purchased my first ever private office for my growing business with the help of Novel Coworking.There were no hoops and loops to go through to get my office, and I even got to test it out before signing my lease.The amenities are AMAZING, and they even have a Mothers Room that will come in handy for keeping up with pumping in between work after my daughter is born in February 2020.My productivity has been through the roof thanks to this new transition, and I am looking forward to growing here.

We have had an office here for about a year and a half and are now looking elsewhere. The elevator is out often which causes one of our contractors to avoid coming in due to health reasons since we work on the 6th floor. We have also had FREQUENT communication issues with staff.. to say the least.

I visited the 405 W Superior location and worked there remotely for a day to try it out. I was VERY impressed with the space. There were a large variety of work spaces/offices both big and small, and I liked how you could customize your own office to make it just as youd want it. I also liked how they had all of the details to be perfect (pleasant atmosphere in the public area, great views, coffee machine, fast wifi, very friendly and accommodating manager etc.) I would definitely recommend this to anybody looking for a space to work out of!

When we first moved our company operations to Chicago we had yet to determine a permanent home. We bounced around touring many different co-working, office, and other general spaces.However when we met with the management team here at Novel, you could feel (and see) the difference. Ive been to the Novel space on a few occasions, and have always enjoyed my time there. A clean and functional space for sure. The staff is what truly sets it apart, however. Im always treated exceptionally well by everyone there and feel right at home. Ill be back!

Novel has been a very welcoming place for myself and the start up that I work for. The space has provided several exciting events that include happy hours and live music. Everyone has been welcoming and open since our move here in November of 2019. It might also be a plus that they provide coffee every morning 😄

We have held an office with Novel for over a year and have office-d out of both the Huron and Superior spaces. Novel is really the best bang for your buck when it comes to co-working. We have had the flexibility to grow out of 4 different offices as our company has continued to grow and move from one location to another with ease. We are also a team that likes to claim a space, so having the ability to have an office to call home without breaking the bank is a huge asset. The community team is great, and I get a sense that they are truly interested in the wellbeing of our team and the growth of our business. Would highly recommend Novel to anyone looking for a stable, reliable, and cost-effective co-working experience.

My 1st day today was amazing! Marne was not only professional, efficient, prompt, thorough and responsive but extremely receptive to my requests and questions. She went out of her way to welcome me on my first day in my office space. Kayley has also been a tremendous help to me from the start! Very professional staff and location! Novel has been excellent to me and my company thus far! Coffee machines let us be productive during the day, and beer on tap makes that post-5pm work a bit less awful. Brett and Marne are quick to fix any issues weve had and made it all a very smooth transition for us.Cant say enough good things-- its been a great home for our first office!

To write a negative review of a place for a technical issue thats outside of their control is cruel at best.The Novel Coworking Superior team has been tremendously accommodating. Theyve gone out of their way to attend to every customers needs offering flexibility and various levels of access to compensate for the malfunction.My experience at Novel has been very positive.From day one, I had a warm welcome to the building with all the resources in front of me. Every time I had a question or a special request, they accommodated. You really cant say that from other organizations which have become impersonal. After visiting the office numerous times, I can easily say that this space is excellent. I have enjoyed my times working here as well as the atmosphere and would recommend it to anyone looking for a co-working space.

This location is a great space for working that is incredibly professional but carries an easy going atmosphere that can cater to careers in any fields. Whether you are a freelancer or are looking for a space to house your growing start-up, I couldnt imagine a better place to set up your team in 2020.

This is my second Novel office Ive worked at, and its fantastic.We have a couple of dedicated desks on the top floor of the building, located near the open patio (perfect over the summer), the kitchen & espresso bar, and the building managers. Anytime we ever have any issues or questions, Marne and Brent are there to help. Our clients are in different locations across the US, so it helps that we can work out of other local Novel offices when in those cities.While the value of amenities/features for you what pay might be the biggest selling point, the biggest upside for our business has been the community created within the building. Marne and the team create a welcoming environment that has allowed us to build real relationships with other business owners without distracting from the work. We have real friendships with the other business leaders in the building, where we celebrate wins together and exchange best practices when were stuck.Novel has been the perfect place for us as we grow and expand our business.

Ive had experience in a number of co-working spaces around Chicago and Novel is by far the best in my opinion. The combination of a more refined, professional atmosphere, super helfpul staff, and A LOT of flexibility on space configuration to accommodate your business as it grows is better than anywhere else. I’ve worked in multiple Novel offices and coworking spaces. The service, pricing, and location here is second to none. Top floor patio is all you need to be happy at work.

Very happy overall with the team that works at this location. They are always helpful and available.

I have never written a review, but feel its necessary at this point because my wife works in this building and the elevator has been down for over 3 months now. Did I mention she is 9 months pregnant... completely unacceptable regardless of what the issue is. I am involved in some property management and this is just terrible. At this point they should replace the elevator with a new one and improve the building. I would never recommend anyone rent space from Novel.

Great location with great staff.

The elevator broke almost 2 weeks ago and it has not been fixed, yet. We have pregnant women at our office who have to walk up 5 flights of stairs. No communication whatsoever.
