Had a eye brow appointment for wax and thread. They called and canceled at the last minute and rescheduled for next day. I show up and they have no idea who I am. Terrible customer service or lack there of. Act like I am causing a problem when I show of for appointment they made. Terrible service and experience.

Trim Lincoln Park is absolutely amazing!! The cleanliness, professionalism, and welcoming environment has caused me to be a reoccurring customer. Absolutely love going to trim! I started going to the location in Bucktown first and loved it so I was very happy to find out there was a location in LP close to my new apartment. Saadia is soooo sweet—she was incredibly thorough and just a really happy + positive person to be around. I highly recommend booking an appt with her :-) she didn’t miss a spot on my Brazilian and my roommate was shocked when I came home bc the appointment was that fast.

So I went there first time, and when I got there I loved the ambiance. The hostess, Lydia was very nice, and she even gave me 50% discount as It was my first time there. Place is nice and clean, and waxing pain was minimal, but.. When Becky finished waxing, I got a feeling that my skin was smooth and hairless with the oil she put on me, she even went over it with tweezers to make sure there was no hair left. But when I got home, I realized how much she actually missed, there was a lot of hair left, and I dont even know why or how. I suppose she was supposed to see it, but Im not sure if she didnt or she just simply ignored it.

I went here last week to get my eyebrows done, and they did a beautiful job, if I was just rating on final appearance theyd absolutely get five starts.Unfortunately, my skin is having a terrible reaction to the wax used and my once clear skin is now covered in angry red bumps all around my eyebrows. Id be way less angry about this except I didnt go there to get waxed, I specifically asked for a threading when I called to make the appointment. I have tried waxing before and know my skin reacts poorly, I even WROTE THIS DOWN on the intake form. The esthetician even read that alloud when going over the form, so I know she saw it. She proceeded to use wax on my face anyway. I would have stopped her earlier had I realized what she planned on doing but by the time I realized there was already wax on my face.Id also be less angry if I wasnt getting married in two weeks. But I am. Im praying my skin recovers by then. But the fear that it wont has left me in tears every morning when I look in the mirror.Be careful when you go here and make SURE you know what youre getting and get a lot of verbal confirmation that they plan on doing what you ask...

I loved it from the second I walked in, a beautiful place with a very welcoming atmosphere.The best salon I’ve been to, the staff were incredibly friendly and professional at the same time and very successful at making me feel comfortable, they did an amazing job too. Definitively going back there, highly recommend!

I came back because Saadia is very clean and professional. She does the job quickly and perfectly. She is a sweetheart, and I will be going to her for years to come. The place is super comfortable, and you can have a cup of tea while waiting.

I had a great experience at Trim! The salon itself was very cute and well-maintained. Justine at the front desk was very welcoming and friendly, making the check-in process very efficient. My Brazilian with Chad was awesome. It was my first time, and he informed me of all the aftercare routines and explained the whole process to me, which was super helpful. He kept me really comfortable and did a fantastic job. He was also really quick--we started about 5 minutes late and I was still totally done before my parking expired (6:30 appt, 7:15 parking pass). I would absolutely recommend him for anyone, first timer or not!

Went to the Lincoln location for their “Speedo” waxing. Service was quick and I’m happy with the hair removal. The lower review is due to the amount of pain and injury to my skin in more sensitive places. Before this gets written off as “waxing causes a little pain” know that I have a pretty decent tolerance for pain and have never experienced this with any other waxing of that area I’ve had before this. I have red, raw skin in some spots, and found it very uncomfortable all day and night afterwards. Even as I write this the next day the pain is really bad at times. Not sure if it was the wax used, the technique, or that she was in a hurry (i think I was the last appointment of the day), but I think I will try a different salon in the future.

Ive been going to Trim for almost a year and a half and have never been disappointed. I see Chad and hes a wonderful person and aesthetician who is quick and detailed. Getting waxed can be painful but not with how well Chad does it!
