I have been going to Allure since January for laser hair removal treatments. I get my legs, arms, and brazilian for a combo price that they offered at the time, which was reasonable given how much laser treatments cost in general. My hair growth has significantly lessened and skin texture has significantly improved since. The staff is always friendly and accommodating and do their best to work around my busy schedule to get me booked. Any time I leave a voicemail to schedule an appointment, they call me back within the hour. I was initially referred to them by a friend and now am reflecting them to my own friends.

Worse place I have ever!!!!! They are rude extremely rude I had paid for a gift card in December for a Christmas present for my mother that battled cancer that is in her 70s booked many appointments never got back to me. I have called many times over the months they would pick up talk to me very rude telling me go on the website and then hang up with out me saying more then 5 words. They finally called me 4 months later and as I was explaining to them I have been waiting for this call and that my gift card expires in few days They told me to stop winning and crying that they dont have time for this and that Im no one special to tell them that they took 4 month to get back to me. Then they said we dont care that you paid for your gift card that was 200$ that was for my mother that has been dealing with cancer and hung up. I will be contacting my lawyer and getting every one I can involved I have everything recorded as well. She just kept yelling at me and I could not understand why. Then she had the nerve to say oh we can take her in a couple months I said my gift card expires in a week she said not our problem.Also to your response that is so out of place never said anything about demanding a date was asking what date was available before my gift card expired since it took 5 month to get back to me and it expired in a week. Second you where screaming at me calling me a whining baby not letting me speak no one yelled and I do have it recorded so everything you can say would not make a difference in the review to help you. A few staff members do not follow safety protocol and do not wear masks properly—if you ask them to do so, they have quite an attitude. Ive been going to this place for over 2 years for laser hair removal. Kinga the technician kept missing spots so when I asked her politely she became upset and said she never misses. After she burnt me I informed the manager which upset Kinga and she lied to the manager that I made an inappropriate comment. This place has taken thousands of dollars from me without the results they promised. Most of the techs dont speak or understand much English which is another issue. The manager didnt have the professional courtesy to call me but sent me a text telling me of Kingas comment. Didnt realize there were so many other 1 star reviews critical of this place. BEWARE!

If you purchase any services via Groupon the staff will immediately treat you differently. It is a complete scam. They refuse to work with you to schedule an appt that works with your schedule. You cannot book on the weekends even though the Groupon implies you may be able to. Groupon states that “Saturday appointments are limited”. It should say weekend appointments not allowed at all. Booked over a month out but Groupon expires before you can redeem and the staff blame you for waiting too long when you called over 4 weeks before the Groupon expires to say they are booked 3 months in advance. I got this Groupon as a birthday gift. Moral of the story, this is a scam and report it to Groupon when you can.

Unprofessional staff,terrible costumer service!!!If I could leave negative stars I would!!!To start from the beginning when I was purchasing the laser hair removal treatment I called salon directly on a Groupon add they gave me ‘great deal’ over the phone and I payed 6 full body sessions($700),they sad they will call me to book the appointments as soon as they process my transaction,they didn’t call me I was calling them 3 days in a row to try to get appointment for something I already paid!When I finally got the appointment and went there for my first session at 9am,when I walked in lady that later introduced herself as one of the managers rushed me into treatment sad we don’t have time to go through paperwork they are so busy and booked for a day, we ll get to that after.They took me into a small room that had a bed and some old looking machine,and the lady that was performing my treatment sad when I asked how long she was doing treatments,that she is usually front desk but that she also does treatments(was very confused that they had receptionist performing treatments with laser).I had several tattoos all over my body and she at the end of the treatment mentioned oh I didn’t know u had tattoos we have to cover them during the treatment with the towel and she cover mine on the stomach but first part she started was my underarms and I have both my sides covered in tattoos and they were not protected while she was doing my underarms.After the treatment my tattoo on my side-boob started burning right away and I called salon,they told me that is normal,that night my tattoo got red and it was very swallow,I put some aloe vera on it,but next morning it started pilling and it looked like keloid scar.I googled that the same laser machine that removes hair also is used to remove tattoos,I called the salon again spoke to the same Menager she sad that she spoke with the girl who performed my treatment and she didn’t go anywhere near my tattoos and that probably all of that is because my skin is sensitive .I went to see a dermatologist and she sad that that part of my skin was directly in contact with laser,I called them again they sad there medical consultant will call me,nobody called back,I called again they sad to send pictures and also told me I signed waiver that they are not responsible,I got very mad because nobody explained anything and I haven’t signed anything or was warned about any of the staff before treatment.Called again several times for refund on the treatments and it has been 2 weeks I didn’t get a call back or a refund. Please if you want to go somewhere just pay maybe even more but don’t go there to b scared like this for the rest of your life!Part of my tattoo is removed now!

I have only done the couples promotions there but I seem to have sampled though their services that way - I have had a massage paired with pedicure or with facial but have always loved it. My husband and I seem to go back every time we need some relaxation. I have no idea where they find their masseuses but they are just so talented! Not all places I have been can they make you feel like jello every single time but here they can. If you go for one thing, then dont miss the massages. I recommend Brian.

I went here for the first time and had an amazing experience! I had a hot stone couples massage and it was honestly one of the best experiences I have had at a spa. When you go for a massage, its all about the ambiance and the skill of the masseuse, which Allure executed flawlessly. As soon as we got there, we were taken to a personal room, where we could change, and get into robes and slippers provided by the salon. Our personal belongings were under lock and key, and we kept the keys with us throughout the entire experience. Since it was a couples massage, we shared a room- it was quiet, clean, dark with ambient music in the background- the perfect setting for a spa day. The massage was so good, that I fell asleep (which rarely happens to me during a massage). After that, we were escorted to another room where strawberries and champagne awaited us, followed by a steam for 2. I can honestly say, the entire experience was super intimate (we felt like the only couple in the world there even though they were full) and it was nice to be escorted from each experience by the lovely staff members. Its now our go to place, and I will definitely be back!

I had received a gift certificate for $50 at Allure De Vie and decided to put it towards a 30 minute massage and I am so glad that I did! As soon as I entered the spa, I was greeted warmly by all of the employees and the check-in process was very quick. Everyone wore masks and abided by the COVID rules which made me feel extra safe and thankful that they had re-opened. I was guided back to a dimly lit waiting room and I felt so cozy and immediately relaxed as I sat by the fireplace and listened to the soothing music. My massage therapist for the day was Brian and he came and got me from the waiting room and led me to my room. He left the room, I undressed, and he came back when I was ready. He started off by asking me if there were any areas I wanted to focus on and I said that I wanted him to just see what areas have more tension and could use more attention. Brian is very knowledgeable about the muscles and bones of the human body and demonstrated that as he was naming the muscles that he felt tension in and reasons why that tension was there. The massage was incredible, the oil and pressure felt amazing, and I left with new knowledge and tips about how to take care of my body and alignment. I regret only scheduling the massage for 30 minutes! I will definitely be back--I feel like a brand new person after my massage. I would highly recommend Allure de Vie and Brian as a massage therapist.

I purchased the laser hair removal package and cant begin to tell you how fantastic the treatments have been. It took about a year, but I am completely hair free. The treatments included, legs, bikini and armpits. It is incredibly liberating not to have to pick up a razor ever again. Been going here for a year now and have completed 6 sessions. Had to take a break in my sessions due to Covid but overall extremely satisfied with my results. I am South Asian with dark hair and it was very noticeable when I would go a month without waxing or threading. After doing my sessions at Allure - hair is nonexistent and I’m only 6 sessions in!!!Disclaimer- I did go to another salon prior to Allure however their technology was not as painless or effective as the equipment Allure uses and I always felt like the hair would come back patchy. All the esthetician’s at Allure are knowledgeable and are patient when I have to adjust my settings.Tips to make the most of your sessions; Book your appointment ahead - like have your next session planned in your head because these guys book your QUICKLY. Don’t cancel last minute because you have to pay $50 for missing your session. For every appointment- there’s 3 people waiting for that spot.Try to avoid going right after your period because it’s a bit more painful. Despite this realization- my esthetician was very patient with me.I plan on renewing my sessions with Allure because honestly - you cant beat the price or the customer service.

I WAS DENIED SERVICE from this salon because of a previous yelp review that I wrote! I had a gift certificate with 3 services prepaid for, and I had 1 remaining. When I called to make an appointment for the manicure remaining, I WAS DENIED due to my yelp review from a prior experience. The receptionist placed me on hold, and when she came back on the line she told me to go somewhere else for a manicure!! They obviously go through and make notes by the names of customers who gave poor reviews. I was so thrown back by this. Yelp is meant for your reviews of an establishment, hopefully for the business to grow from. I did not realize I would feel degraded because I gave an honest review. The receptionist is the one who told me not to come back and denied me the service, not even the manager. The owner must tell them to do this. I was told in 24 hours a manager would call me back, which happened maybe 30 hours after. The receptionist was quite rude, but the only nice thing I have to say is the manager, I believe her name may have been Alex, was very nice. They would rather refund my money than have me come in again (in case I give another bad review from what they said). They are worried about their reviews because they are a private business is pretty much what was told to me, and they wouldnt want me to write another bad review. So denying me using my gift certificate would help that cause? I told the manager this could have been handled much different, maybe if I wasnt denied service I could have come in and it could have been a much better experience. Or maybe they could have spoken with me to ask how they can improve, or maybe even apologize. I have never been denied service my entire life. I initially found this place through GroupOn and purchased a laser hair removal package. I bought an additional package, on sale, and have seen some results and considering another one to hopefully do the job and be done. I have also purchased massage packages from them- through one of their sales. (They have crazy sales from time-to-time that are steals.) I have had three different massage therapists, all have been professional and have given very relaxing massages. I really like the ambiance of the spa and people are very nice. Their scheduling is a bit of a process if you do not schedule next visit at time of treatment, but other than that, this place is highly recommended.

This place is like paradise! I have been going to them for years and I will never stop. Their spa packages are luxurious. Last weekend I went for a massage, facial, body scrub, and mani-pedi. Every service was phenomenal. I felt so pampered. They even served me a mimosa and strawberries and chocolate during my pedicure! My skin looks and feels amazing, my nails are gorgeous and I am so much more relaxed! I highly recommend this spa.

Rushed in by staff, even though I eagerly, so not able to enjoy any of the comforts...not given a private dressing room, no relaxation or warm-ups time, just right to massage room. Masseuse was pleasant and competent. Had a bottle of water waiting after, and right out the door.They portray a relaxing day spa, relaxing experience with private dressing room and teas. Not the case. Expensive at 128.00 per 50 min, advertised as an hour, but ten-minute subtracted for changing, and if you dont need it, doesnt matter. Actual time hands on, so to speak, was timed to be 48.

Ive purchased 9 laser sessions at Allure. Every session starts punctually, the staff is nice, and the Spa is clean. When I did my first session I was invited to use private bathroom with shower, robes and anything you need to prepare your body for the lase treatment. Another nice thing are the prices. You can always get a good deal online or at the Spa if you ask for it.

I had a great experience at this salon for laser hair removal. I do not understand the bad reviews for this establishment. They were friendly, compassionate, and willing to work with me. I got my treatment done with Rodika and she was the sweetest lady ever. She kept checking in with me throughout the treatment. And at one point she even said to me “we are working as a team so let me know if anything is painful or uncomfortable.” She was thorough, worked efficiently, and detail oriented. On top of that the machine they used was top of the line and when I did research on it I found out it was the most painless and effective laser on the market. My first time visiting Allure De Vie Salon & Spa for a facial and I have to say it was probably the best facial Ive ever had. I got the 50 minute Botanical European facial and it was absolutely wonderful. The lady (I forget her name but I think it was Rodica) was so gentle. It was also so very relaxing. From the time I walked in to the time I left, my experience was above my expectations. Everyone was very friendly, helpful and pleasant. The room was clean, candle-lit with soothing music. A fabulous experience! My sister and I had a spa package to celebrate my birthday. We each had a massage, facial and pedicure. Not only that, but while having our toes done, we were handed a glass of bubbly and chocolate covered strawberries- how fun is that! What a way to round off an incredible time. While each service was very relaxing, the conversation, fun, and service makes this someplace we will return to.

Extremely happy with the laser hair removal treatment. Best thing I have ever invested in myself. For all the ladies and men, who hate shaving all the time, this is the answer.Also, the couples massage was just amazing. So relaxing and and pampering that before its all over, you start planning your next spa date. The staff was very professional and polite and very caring of your needs.

All the ladies that work at this place are so nice they try to help you with the best to choose and the results for the laser I’m doing is so welll so much recommend to go there!

A friend of mine and I went after getting a Groupon spa package for two. They went out of their way to accommodate us in their schedule. The space is calming and beautiful. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and efficient. They gave us champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. The services were impeccably rendered and the facial was mind melting (in a good way!). My only caution is that they book up quickly so plan on booking way ahead.

I was originally a little hesitant because I had seen some bad reviews and I had a groupon...but I am so glad that I went for it anyway. The staff was amazing, the services were wonderful and the spa was clean and warm and welcoming. I am actually very excited to go back for another treatment on my own and also plan to do a nice spa day with a few other ladies as a little getaway. It is truly a lovely spa!

Ive heard some horror stories about spas, so I am always a little apprehensive about them. This was a Groupon deal that seemed to good to pass up. Since the price was low, I knew I wouldnt be upset if this place turned out to be a bust.

Love the atmosphere here. The staff is so friendly and attentive. They make you feel like youre a guest in their home. Ive been coming here for years and Ive always been 100% satisfied with my service. I highly recommend it.

This was my first visit to Allure. Parking was easy to find right behind the entrance to the building. The facility was clean and the staff was very friendly. I had an appointment for a massage. A reminder message would be nice (i get busy and forget these thing even when on my IPhone). I waited only 5 minutes before I had a massage with Maggie. She was courteous, professional and did a great job. I will recommend to a friend.

The deep tissue massage by their male massage therapist (cannot remember his name!) will keep me coming back. He is simply amazing -- very attentive, professional, and knowledgeable. It makes a big difference on my bad back. The salon itself has some room for improvement in terms of organization, hence the 4 stars, but the deep tissue massage will not disappoint.

Made contact 4 times and still havent been able to make an appointment. When I was finally able to talk to someone, she told me that the only thing this full-fledged spa offers on Valentines Day is a $250 package and that Valentines Day appointments are booked a year in advance. Thanks, but no thanks.

Great place to have a couple’s massage! Private, intimate bonding experience. Masuses were great! Included champagne and chocolate strawberries. All three Carmen’s who helped us out were great! Highly recommend.

This place is the best, I have been doing endermologie for years and it is the only thing that works. Alex is hands down the best, she is amazing. Not only she knows the proper way of doing the treatment, her equipment is top notch, and that is very important as well.

Ive been to Allure a few times and each time has been an amazing experience! It all started with me purchasing a Groupon for a hair cut and color a while ago. I loved it, but the person that makes me go back is Maggie! She is absolutely amazing, the best masseuse ever! Ive had massages at different places in Chicago and elsewhere. Maggie just does a wonderful job! The massage room and the salon itself has a very soothing feel, clean and neat, gives me that warming atmosphere other salons lack. Im definitely going to go back, especially since I prepaid for a few more massages. Right now they offer 2 1-hr massages for $115. Trust me, its well worth it! Overall, great experience so far, looking forward to many more!

We found this spa on Groupon and it was a fantastic experience. The spa area was extremely clean, the employees were super friendly, and the experience was perfect. We just got married two weeks ago and the hustle of cleaning up made for the perfect excuse to relax. We had a couples massage, steam, and relaxing rest. Everything was perfect! Highly recommend!

Allure has excellent prices, excellent staff, and exceptional service! They answer their phones so the other reviews aren’t accurate or they’re calling after hours? Either way I love what I got done which was a full body laser hair removal and have an appointment again in November! :)

I visited Allure de Vie Salon & Day Spa on my birthday and it was one of the best experience of my life. The service was impeccable, the staff are all professional, its clean and the owner was present and made sure you were satisfied throughout your visit. I had my first experience at Allure De Vie Salon & Day Spa this past weekend and I cannot say enough good things, from the moment you walk in to when you leave. The employees are extremely friendly offing you coffee, water, tea right when you walk in, I felt very welcome. I had Natalie do my hair color, cut and blow dry. Its always a little nerve racking going to a new stylist for color and hair cut but I was beyond happy. Natalie understood exactly what I wanted and styled my hair great, it was like sitting with a friend talking when she was doing my hair. I will definitely come back to Allure De Vie Salon & Day Spa for my hair and for their other amazing services I have heard about such as a facial or massage :)
