I cant sing enough praises about the SW Cargo Team @ Midway. I go there everyday at various times of the day. So, I believe Ive met most of the employees there. Ive had only 1 small issue in the 3 years Ive been going and after reflection, the fault was mine. Ive always felt welcomed and the team doesnt miss a beat. The last 3 months seems to have been difficult for them due to staff shortages, covid, vacations, etc. But the remaining team stepped up to the plate and worked double shifts for several consecutive days. Despite being stressed, overworked and tired, they were always on point and Ive never heard them complain. The Team is friendly, fast, efficient and thorough. I visit UA and AA @ OHare everday as well and there is No comparison whatsoever. Kudos to the entire Team!! I watch you work long hours, deal with cranky drivers, maintain compliances. Its stressful. However, when the waiting room has several drivers in line, just keep smiling.!!!! Carol, Christopher, Michael, Terry, Nick, Michael again, Evette, Vanessa, Linda, Miles, Marcus, Brian, Greg and anyone else I missed. Thank you for Everything!!

This can be 1 star to 5 star depending on who is working and how busy they are. the longest I have waited in line was 45 minutes to drop off a package but if there is no line I can get in and out in less than five minutes. some tips are to have your info ready, and sign in when you arrive.
If you want to ensure that your stuff is delayed please use the Southwest Airlines cargo in midway. This is the 3rd time in 2 months that they have screwed up a next flight guarantee shipment from me and I-ship live fishing coral. I am so over them right now their level of service is horrendous
The line isnt necessarily long, but the wait for a representative is just too long to be available. I have been here every week for almost 1 year now.Update: nobody is at any of the four counters for multiple times. Waiting for half hour with no help yet.
Dont ever make the mistake of shipping anything with them. I had over 1000 dollars worth of seafood shipped and it was magically lost somewhere in Chicago. Im beyond annoyed
Always take forever. Dont understand as Ive gone to different airports and they never take this long. Whatever system they have where it seems like the front desk needs to do so much is dumb.
I have never shipped anything with southwest cargo prior so didnt know what to expect, it was much different than your standard couriers. With the exception of Omar who wore a shirt that read ramp everyone there was not helpful and rude, and stark contrast from him who was extremely helpful and patient in walking me through the process.

I have used SW for years due to their ticket prices and 2 free checked bags. However, I’ve found the airline’s customer service to be lacking significantly. EB is one of the worst extras of SW. If it happens once, easily forgiven, but I’ve had this (EB wasn’t applied upon checkin) happen a few times and was told by a customer rep that an error occurred (fault lying with the airline) and it was “disassociated” with the confirmation code and there’s nothing they can do expect refund the $15. If that’s the best customer service SW can provide, why should I give them my money. Especially since their prices aren’t as great as they once were.

The baggage handler went into my checked luggage and took:Macbook ProChargeriPhone charger (because why not?)I was then told Southwest can, file a courtesy report, but we dont do anything for electronics.Dont use this airline.
