We love Dr. Schneider and the entire staff! This weekend my almost two year old took a bad fall and the doctor and her wonderful secretary (Jill) were amazing with helping get my little one the care she needed (even with it being a HOLIDAY weekend). They went totally above and beyond for my little girl!! This practice is filled with very kind hearted staff, they offer practical solutions to your dental needs, & are economically priced. Dr. Schneider and her staff are also great with little ones and adults alike! Would highly recommend Silver Lake Dental!

Had a Root canal done by Doctor Richard Pasiewicz. It was a two day procedure 10 days a part. I couldnt be more happy with the work that was done. I didnt experience any pain or discomfort after either procedure. Thank you Dr Pasiewicz you are the best. This is a 10 star business plus they were very careful with cleaning everything before and after both procedures with this covid world were living in at the moment.

My husband who is a patient there had a tooth abscess. Little did he know a root canal from prior dentist had left a small piece of metal causing the infection. He called the office for an appointment he was suffering in pain and face had swollen up. They offered him an appointment five days out. Ridiculous he should have been seen by his dentist on emergency basis. Nothing like searching for help because your own dentist doesnt want to come in.

When I was 15 years old, Dr. Schneider unnecessarily extracted my adult tooth #10. It had no root but I’ve recently learned it should’ve been left alone to fall out naturally, if it were ever going to. I likely had trauma in my front jaw which has caused the shortness/lack of root in the region. Tooth #10 is beside the front teeth. If you are missing this tooth, it is extremely noticeable and embarrassing, especially for a teenage. Dr. Schneider put a bridge put in shortly after the extraction, which requires shaving off of the teeth on either side, also not healthy for a child as bridges are only semi-permanent and typically for older adults. The idea was that someday I’d have a big girl job with dental insurance (policies do not typically cover a pre-existing like this, implants are often cosmetic.) so I was screwed from the beginning. After my bridge came out and I swallowed it with my PB&J sandwich in my high school cafeteria, I had a flipper, a terrible and humiliating non-permanent option for a child, as it must be taken out to eat. Implants are the best permanent option and you can’t get them until you stop growing. I was 15 years old. Many years of growth ahead of me.Now, 12 years later. I’ve had a failed bridge (Schneider), humiliating flipper (Schneider), and a FAILED implant (Dr. Firdaus at Dupage Dental Care). This traumatic journey began largely due to Dr. Schneider pulling that tooth. Had she not, my parents and I would’ve possibly saved about $16,000 (over 12 years) in bridge, flipper, BRACES (to make space for the implant at age 23), and failed implant. (Being in debt for one tiny tooth is so frustrating. I had college loans and rent but couldn’t afford food because all my money went to those payments and braces.) I got a new treatment plan today to remove the failed post from my jaw bone. The total estimate (because insurance doesn’t cover this!) is about $9,000. On top of debt, imagine all of the brutal appointment I’ve had to get this situation fixed. Countless appointments, calls home crying, even blaming my parents for their ignorance. Had we waited for that tooth to fall out naturally I may have had insurance that’d cover it, or better resources to determine a permanent solution, or a savings account???It has been a problem for nearly half of my life now and I’m still a year away from it being over, maybe, if this failed implant removal goes well.I’m 27 now. Wish me luck. Wish me finances.SHORT VERSION:Do not let Dr. Schneider pull your child’s teeth. Do your research. Ask questions. This is poor practice. This was the start of my traumatic journey that Dr. Schneider only started. (Other dentists have made it worse along the way too).

Had a very bad experience with Silver Lake Dental. I highly recommended to stay away from them. Went to schedule an appointment and was told by Blanca (who runs both locations) that the whole family was dropped due to a missed appointment 2 years ago. Ive never missed an appointment nor recieved any notice. She was very rude! How does a whole family get dropped for 1 supposed missed appointment. Very bad for business. Stay away!

I cant complain about the actual service here I was happy while going there I mostly took my daughter there the one time I did decide to make an appointment for myself I needed a scaling treatment which was crazy expensive no treatment care plans were discussed with who has that type of money? So once I was unable to pay for the treatment they billed me for a missed appointment and said they were dropping me from their care. By the way one of these 5 star reviews is from the dentist herself Scneider

Talk about highway robbery $200-$400 For a simple extraction......$100 consultation fee. We all know that dentistry is the highest priced medical expense..... but these guys want to pay all their bills on a single client

Came here after being butchered at the Dental Clinic at 3210 W 63rd St.and will NEVER go to this place again.Had to have deep cleaning which is painful. Came to this clinic and got the deep cleaning and it was PAINLESS. The hygienist is VERY good at what she does. The Dr (Schneider) is very personable and professional as well as all the staff. Those making the negative reports I find to be not credible. Any issue they had COULD have been resolved by an actual visit to the office. I am making this dentist my regular dentist. Very satisfied with the results price and outcome. And will send more business her way.

Most people hate going to the dentist, but my three kids and I love coming to the office! The staff is friendly and take care of everything; they even remind you when youre due for a cleaning. Ive been coming to this office for about ten years and will continue to bring my family here. Keep up the great work ladies!!!

Went in for routine cleaning, left with a filling popped out resulting in a crown. Called to discuss on April 16th. Told manager not in and she return call. Never got call back from her to this date. Today is 5/7/18. Called today and told she’s out office again. Beware in for money and not customer service. Receptionist was hurry to hang up. Didn’t even address my other questions I had. Now I need wait again to get them answered. Disappointed in quality and treatment of service.

This place charged my father excessively expensive without even explaining what the charge was, they did an exam that he did not authorize or ask for, and without losing authorization they only charged him twice as much as usual and they justified themselves by saying that they always charge evenq He has the previous invoices that prove otherwise. Even in this last consultation they did not even want to give him an invoice !!! Terrible service!!!
