My experience for tooth extraction with Dr Koos was PAIN FREE and EFFICIENT!! Both he and his team are the utmost professionals. They ensured that the atmosphere was one of a calm demeanor. I will definitely recommend this office to my family, friends and peers.

This was by far the best experience Ive had at any medical facility. The staff was just amazing, caring from the moment I walked through the door. Dr. S Koos is a phenomenal surgeon. The procedure was a success, his follow up after the surgery was great customer service at its best. This office is far from my home, but well worth every trip. This is the perfect oral surgeon for me and going forward whatever procedures I need that his office covers consider it done by this group of sound professionals.

The professionalism, friendliness and cleanliness of this office was beyond expected. Dr explained process thoroughly before starting. And explained home care after procedure. Also gave me a call at end of day to follow up on my recovery. I have never had such a great experience at a medical office.

Had a great experience. I had 3 wisdom teeth removed and everything was clearly explained to me and so far I’ve had very minimal swelling and discomfort.

Unacceptable organizational chaos and lack of communication. Dismissive customer service.I ordered my retainers at Ora South Loop in June and paid for them $700. Despite being told every time that Ora will be giving me updates by phone and/or email I never heard from them unless someone finally picked up the phone. In a couple of days, its going to be three months since I placed the order and I still dont have the retainers I ordered through them.If you think about getting invisalign - do it, 100% worth it! But do yourself a favor and avoid Ora South Loop

Dr. KOOS is the absolute best!!!! He was very thorough and made sure I understood everything and answered all questions I had! I wish he could do all my dental care! His staff even the ladies at the front desk was so helpful. Day of my appointment they was fixing the street and my daughter could not get into the lot! The ladies went out and talk to the ppl and we got in Kudos ladies and thank you! I was very nervous and the MA was so calming I so appreciate this whole team ❤ you guys are AMAZING 👏. He explained the surgery to me in a clear and articulate manner. He was kind and sensitive to my care. He removed my wisdom teeth on Friday morning and I have yet to have any pain or swelling as I write this review on Saturday afternoon after finishing an 8 mile walk. The staff was wonderful. They took the time to ensure I understood my procedure. Everyone followed their Covid protocols. My proceedure went by quickly.

I got a consultation for Invisalign and it took two months to get them back. I called numerous time asking about my status and always got told to call back. The one time i didn’t answer they left a voicemail saying “ I’m returning your call in reference to your Invisalign” which was on may 4. The key word in the voicemail is “returning” which shows i have been reaching out to them about my trays. Today when i called about my Invisalign she going to say she called me previously (may 4) trying to tell me they were ready. Which is false because I called multiple times since that voicemail and no one never told me to come in. Then another problem i have If they were in why wouldn’t you reach out to me once more?? I had to call them and see what was status on my trays (16 days after the voicemail). Like i previous stated i called multiple times this month. Definitely unsatisfied with my service at the moment. Hopefully the rest of my service goes well.

I had an issue with a wisdom tooth. I called several oral surgery offices, and could not get in. The staff at ORA, when I called, got me in quickly. They took the time, and really made the effort to get me in. Dr. Koos and his assistants were wonderful. Everything was explained to me in detail prior to and after the procedure. It was a very comfortable experience. It is a very soothing, and clean environment. I truly recommend this oral surgeon and his staff. I also got a call from Dr. Koos that evening.And, I never felt rushed.

The actual dentists/surgeons are great! Very friendly and great service..However, the front desk staff is really not good at all!. I’m honestly in shock as to how unresponsive they are. I have called them nearly 5-6 times to rearrange or book appointments and NOT 1 call was returned (or even picked up). I understand being busy, but the lack of responsiveness is hurting a great dental practice.

Incredible. I had the best experience here at OraSurgery with Dr. Koos. I had to get all four of my wisdom teeth removed. Cost was a big factor for me to consider as I didn’t have dental insurance, but the front desk helped me with getting a discount plan through Cigna Dental Savings so the cost of my procedure was very affordable. Dr. Koos was very patient and thorough with his explanation during the consultation. On the day of my surgery I was incredibly nervous, barely got any sleep the night before, but when I got strapped in and given the mask, the laughing gas made me feel great. And then I was out like a light when Dr. Koos came to give me the IV. Surgery took less than an hour and I left feeling fine, even capable of walking/taking care of myself! I was given an antibiotic, ibuprofen, and steroid to help with swelling and healing. I’m on the second day of recovery and I feel no pain, just some tightness around my jaw. Overall, I am very impressed with the work being done here, and will recommend to anyone needing to get their teeth extracted!

These people are HORRIBLE!!!!!!! Stay away!!! My 80 yr old mother had a horrible infection in a tooth that made her cheek swell up to the size of a grapefruit. She call for multiple days to try to get in to see anyone and the earliest appointment they would give her was a week and a half!!!!!! They have NO emergency appointments available. If you don’t fit into their schedule they do not care about you at all!!!

It goes without saying Dr. Koos has great bedside manor and excellent surgeon skills and his staff is exceptional also. I had no pain the first day post surgical and very minimal pain following. I would definitely use ORA again for any of my oral surgery needs.

I went to see Dr. Koos and had a tooth extraction with local numbing on 2/22/2022. I was amazed at Dr. Koos perfect professional technique that the whole process took only 5 minutes. Dr. Koos made me feel extra comfortable that he explained to me every step he was going to take during that process. The pain after the surgery was very minor for 3 days and taking one tablet of Ibuprofen will relieve that pain for 24 hours. I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed at the same time. I waited 10 years because I was so nervous and scared. It went so smooth. On the scale from 1-10 of discomfort as I’m in day 3 of recovery is a 2. I feel good. I could have went to work the next day. Nice job Ora Dental. Also Dr. Koos called me later in the evening to check on me. I call this place a Dental Spa.

Dr. Koos is an amazing oral surgeon!! I had my wisdom teeth removed last week, and because I held off so long on the procedure, there were some complications going into the surgery. I was very anxious, and Dr. Koos really put me at ease by including me in his plan and strategy to ensure the surgery went well. I am an anxious person in general, and Dr. Koos made me feel extremely comfortable and well taken care of. The surgery went absolutely perfectly—he is an extremely talented surgeon (I researched a lot of oral surgeons prior because of my anxiety, and found him because I admired that he is an MD and DDS, something I believe really helped in the overall amazing, holistic, and flawless experience I had from start to finish). He made me feel comfortable and confident before, during, & after the surgery. His skill, bedside manner, and kindness are unmatched!! Additionally, his team of nurses and front desk staff are also wonderful—they all made me feel warm, cared for, and at ease throughout the entire process. Went to Dr. Koos for long overdue wisdom teeth extraction. Dr. Koos is takes his time to fully explain everything. I was very nervous but the procedure was very comfortable and smooth. Dr. Koos called me that evening to run through my after care again, see how I was feeling and answered questions I forgot to ask prior. I’ve had very little pain and are feeling great without pain medication and minimal swelling less than 24 hours later. Highly recommend.

This was an overall amazing experience. I had horizontal impacted teeth on the bottom and had never had surgery before. I was so nervous, but Dr. Koos is hands down the best surgeon ever. He explained my case, procedure options, and potential risks in perfect detail. Procedure went very well and he was more than willing to answer all of my questions. Staff was also very helpful. The dentist and oral surgeon at Ora are both very professional and they did good work at my previous visits, but the young lady who handles the finance issues, Ashley, is unprofessional and has no customer service skills. I have a $300 credit on my account that I have been trying to have credited back to my debt card. When I spoke to Ashley at the beginning of the week, she rushed me off the phone stating that this has been taken care of but I still dont have my money and my bank says there is no pending credit on my account Now Ashley wont return my calls. I truly believe she stole the money and is now biding her time until she can replace it. Furthermore, as a finance manager, if she was keeping up with their records, I shouldnt have had to tell her I had a credit on my account. She should already know that and be reaching out to me to give the money back.

From the moment I set in the Hot Seat I felt comfortable. They had relaxing music and a very knowledgeable and funny Staff. Dr Koos was very calming and gentle, he talked me through everything he was going to do before he did any procedures. Only go here if you’re prepared to pay the consequences for years to come. I went here in the summer of 2016, and I am still dealing repercussions from bringing my business here. I was a senior in college at the time and only had basic insurance. My teeth were in terrible shape and I had two root canals and two crowns done at this Ora office. It was very expensive. ($1400+). About 9 months later one of the crowns BROKE. The “organic crown” thing is a joke. I had it replaced as soon as I had good insurance (2018). Now I’ve just been told my other crown is compromised and my root canal is now reinfected. I’m having to go to another specialist for retreatment. Thankfully the dentist I go to now actually takes care of me, does cleanings/services at reasonable rates and doesn’t do shoddy work that doesn’t last.

Dr. Koos was extremely kind when I met him for the consultation, putting my anxiety at ease. The surgery was quick and my recovery has been steady because I followed their explicit instructions. Would highly recommend.

Love Dr.Koos and his staff. My wisdom teeth were bothering me during Covid-19 but his staff was able to get me in the same day for a consultation. Everyone at the front desk was super friendly. During the consult, Dr.Koos sat and answered answered every question I had about the procedure. Including step by step what he would do. He did not rush and sat and talked to me for at least 15 minutes. Very nice guy. Decided to go with him and get my surgery two days later. He was great during the surgery and at easing my nerves. I was a little loopy and mouth stuff full out gauze after the surgery and he called me later that night and want to make sure I was doing okay. He stayed on the phone with me for at least 10 mins. answering any post op care questions I had and any concerns he saw during surgery.He called me on his cell-phone and told me to reach out to him directly on there if I had any questions or needed to come back in the office.Overall I give him a 12/10. Def. go go him for any oral surgical needs!

Dr. Koos and team made me feel very comfortable. My wisdom teeth extraction went smoothly and quickly! I had never had surgery, had anesthesia, or laughing gas before so I was a little nervous. They did a great job of explaining everything, made me feel comfortable, and now I wont be so nervous if I have to go through similar procedures in the future. Highly recommend!

I went in for a Wisdom Teeth consultation and extraction. They staff were very helpful and nice. Their equipment is state-of-the-art, and the Surgeon was very patient and informative.I had very little discomfort and was put at ease prior to the procedure. I was even given a call later in the evening to see how I was doing.Overall, very professional and excellent service. I would recommend them to others in the future.

Dr. Koos is a highly skilled surgeon who takes every measure to ensure he provides services that will achieve the best possible outcome. Everyone at Ora Studios handled each phase of my extraction and implant prep process with exceptional professionalism and attention to patient care.

When I arrived at Ora I was meet with an unfortunate oversight by the insurance coordinator that cause me to have to reschedule. I’ve been putting this process off for years and finally found the courage to only be met with the oversight. I ask to speak with a manager who came out to further assist and to my shock she was a great aid in correcting the error. Not only did she (Tia) correct the error but she got me seen the same day as I was prepared for and assisted me very well with getting me the lowest out of pocket cost for my Surgery.I was very upset and lil hard to talk to but being the professional that she is she found away to still assist and complete my request.Ora’s overall staff was attentive, nice, patient and professional. Dr. Koos explained the procedure clearly and answered all of my questions. He even called that evening to check on me. The staff was helpful and enthusiastic. They gave clear information about what our insurance would cover. The facilities are clean and state of the art. Would highly recommend.

I am truly impressed with the operation of this Dental Studio, it is not only Eye appealing and well thought out, its in an excellent location, the employees are friendly, Professional and efficient. The Doctors are equally friendly and really good. I had Oral Surgery for tooth extraction and bone grafts I have yet to feel any pain, the procedure used was very impressive to.
