Nora and Nancy spent a substantial amount of time exploring coverage options for my procedure and guiding me through the steps necessary to ensure that I would pay as little out of pocket as possible. They’re incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the claims process. More importantly, they’re compassionate and generous with their time. Dr. Mackler thoroughly explained my upcoming procedure to me and answered all of the questions I had without making me feel rushed. I can’t say enough about this place. I was so afraid to get my my teeth pulled. I made myself sick! I know I was a pain in there you know what! Yet the staff was super understanding, friendly, attentive, and professional. No one made me feel bad about how I was feeling. Especially the doctor. He was so funny and friendly. Recently, I visited Lincoln Park Dental Specialist for a consultation regarding two extractions replaced with dental implants. Fortunately, Dr. Albert Zickmann was referred to me and he was an excellent choice. He made me feel comfortable with the dental procedure by providing me with several options. I was recommended this place by my dentist, went here for a root canal and had a great experience. I was really nervous but Danni made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire process! My mouth was numbed, so it essentially felt the same as getting a cavity filled, but I was scared and she helped me calmed down. They were affordable as well!

Needed an emergency tooth extraction and was moved through the process in a quick and timely manner. Excellent staff making the entire event as quick and painless as possible.

My girlfriend went for a wisdom tooth extraction consultation.she explained she has pain, inflammation, sore throat and she might have an infection . The doctor didn’t even bother to look at her tooth and scheduled her for surgery just looking at the X-rays, without prescribing any antibiotics and painkillers. Since they had to sedate her I had to take off work and go with her. When we get there they told us they can’t don’t the surgery because she has infection !! Complete waste of time .

Was really impressed with the Office. Office staff were friendly and helpful. Dental assistants Pam, Ashley, and Gerald were extremely friendly, caring, and calming. Dr. Manos was very friendly and attentive. Had oral surgery and was surprised by how the procedure was fast and painless. It has been 5 days had no swelling, or any pain at all. No need for that pain medication.

Would not recommend this place to anyone. See details below:1. I came in for my initial consultation and the dental hygienist did not know how to take X-rays. Instead of asking for help, she proceeded to drag me back and fourth from the patient room to the waiting room making my appointment 2 hours.2. I met with a doctor/surgeon during this initial consultation who did not explain to me recovery or what the healing process would be, thus me booking my surgery without taking work off and having a vacation right after. Not happy.3. The scheduling women messed up my surgery so when I showed up for surgery it was with a different doctor than who saw me initially. He did not know my teeth, my X-rays, or why I was recommended by my dentist to come here.4. Day of surgery the manager came in to tell me about this mix up, I shared with him I was not happy with my experience so far and he let me know after my surgery he would follow up with me to hear my feedback and never did. As a MANAGER of a practice, don’t promise someone you’ll follow up and then never do it.5. For my follow up appointment, I had to wait 30 minutes after my appointment time before being seen by someone and this was only because I followed up with the front desk assistant.Overall a horrible experience and I would not recommend. The two good people I interacted with were my surgeon aka the second doctor and a dental hygienist who was extremely nice to me throughout this all. Will not be coming back and will be sharing this with my dentist who recommended me here.

The nurse and the doctor (Dr. Paul Vizgirda) were very good and courteous and friendly. The doctor is very skillful. The need for improvements are: (1) making an appointment is not easy because the operators are always busy on the phone, so I have to wait for their call back each time. (2) the address of the Lincoln Park office is very confusing because the google map is constantly pointing to the wrong place; but I called to the technical staff directly, who would pick up the phone and gave me the correct guidance immediately and that really helped me a lot.

The worst dental experience ever and i have had my share of horrible dentist experiences! they dont explain things thoroughly or truthfully and they treat you like you are in a factory. nothing i was told has come true. my speech is still not clear and i now dread any time i have to eat because when i am done, i have enough crumbs caught in my mouth for another meal. this is not the way i pictured this at all and i can think of better ways to lose weight than go without eating. i wish i never did this because i would have alot more money, i would speak clearly, and i would enjoy eating again. they need a refresher course in patient care and not be so money hungry. i would never recommend anybody to have this procedure done with them.

Dr. Manos has done three implants and is working on my fourth. Never a bad experience in the 20 years I have been coming to this office. Very confident in every service they preform. Staff is very professional and have been with the office for long periods of time. That always says something positive about the work environment.

I have been here before so I knew I could expect good things. The dentist clearly explained what needed to happen (tooth extraction) and showed me on an X-ray. They were even able to do it the same day, so that I would not have to stress about it for a week.I have a huge gag reflex, and the infection was bad enough that my dentist had to numb me several times. He made sure I was comfortable, and minimized the pain.All in all, they were great, from beginning to end.

Paige is an amazing hygienist! She is kind, gentle, and educates you on anything you need to know. I know I am safe with their sanitary conditions and am grateful these wonderful people are here taking care of our dental needs during a pandemic.

The experience was great at Lincoln Park Dental Specialists. I was referred by my Primary Dentist for extractions of my wisdom teeth and was placed with Dr. Lee. His personality and work was great and did not feel a thinking while in the chair. Two teeth were pulled today and my appointment for the other two has already been scheduled for 4 days from now. The staff is also amazing very knowledgeable to answer any questions you might have.

Paige is absolutely wonderful! I saw her for a cleaning and could not be more satisfied. I am usually very anxious and nervous at these visits, and this was the first time I’ve ever been at ease during the procedure. Without me asking her to, she described everything she was going to do before doing it and explained why it was beneficial. She even offered to stop and give me a break if I needed one- something that blew my mind- above and beyond customer service! It is clear that she is very passionate about her career and is so so kind! I left feeling much less anxious than usual and I was given many tips on self care for at home. I am moving out of the state and will make it a point to come back to town to receive all of my cleanings from her. Thank you Paige!

The doctor was nice, informed, efficient and seemed genuinely concerned about my comfort and situation as were those who assisted him. I have absolute confidence in Dr Mackler’s skills, and his team is always prepared. I had a tooth removed and prepped for an implant, and this team got the job done with little discomfort and with such care. I trust this team!

My experience at LDS was great until after my treatment. The LDS billing team is unbelievably rude and disorganized. They didn’t alert me about issues with my bill for months and then after we started to resolve the problems, still threatened to send me to collections.Unless you have time to babysit their billing staff, I’d look for another dentist out of the risk that you will have the cost of your treatment collected against you, even if it is entirely covered by your insurance.

HORRIBLE practice. If you want a place where Billing sends old and incorrect bills that would’ve been paid if they had just reached out to the company, but instead they send you straight to collection without a notice. AND, when you call, the front desk has zero professionalism and get so inpatient and starts yelling on the phone, this this is the place to go to! Unacceptable.

To say, dental surgery was a wonderful experience sounds crazy. My surgeries include tooth extractions and dental implants. Dr. Mackler is an exceptional surgeon - professional and experienced. He brings a human touch to the process which help ease my extreme anxiety. The entire staff shows such professionalism and care each time. Have been going to Lincoln Park Dental Specialists for a couple of years and am very happy with their services. Attentive throughout the procedures, clear with their medical and insurance information, and good about following through.

So to start off, I just wanna say, no offense to the dental office who referred me to LPDS, but if I can, I will just continue to go to LPDS. Just a quick backstory: so I hadn’t seen a dentist in 9 yrs (yeah I know) so I made an appointment for a cleaning, got turned away after X-rays revealed that I needed to consult with a Periodontist. Got referred to LPDS, made an appointment to see Dr. Marc Manos (nice guy) and here’s my experience from today. Office clean, front desk area staffed, didn’t wait no more than 5 minutes before I was called by one of the assistants, Alex (also nice guy) and my whole consultation lasted no more than 30 minutes. I had my X-rays and insurance ready for them so no doubt that made the process faster. In conclusion, I need a periodontal cleaning (in 2 phases) and then re-evaluate my situation which will most likely result in me having some kind of gum surgery. The fact that I was told all this in the kind of tone that made me more at ease is the reason for my rating. You see, the dentist who referred me, wasn’t that great at “softening the blow” of how bad I had messed of my teeth. He had me worried but Dr. Manos was able to explain the whole thing in terms that I, someone who isn’t a dentist, can understand. The only thing I’m NOT looking forward to, is the cost of all this. The upside is that they’ll work with you in regards to insurance and paying out of pocket. So that was my first experience at LPDS.

Very rude staff is correct, the male who works at the front desk. I spoke to him on numerous occasions asking to speak with someone else because he is so very rude. They charged me for work that was never done and is now reporting a $73 balance to my credit report. They use excuses like oh I wasn’t here at that time, that is not a valid excuse when a patient’s file is there and you can clearly see the history and the mistakes that were made. I can never speak with a manager or a person in accounting.

Everyone was nice and helpful. The waiting time was short too.

They were very professional and went over everything prior to my procedure. They made me feel so comfortable during the surgery and I didnt feel a thing. After the surgery, they gave me a follow up call to check on me and give me further instructions. Dr. Michael Lee Jr. and Nicole were absolutely fantastic. They really went above and beyond to make sure that my procedure went flawlessly. I felt completely healed by day three and by the one week mark, I was back to normal. The staff that performed the surgery, extremely nice!

This place has very skilled, cutting edge dentists but the business side leaves much to be desired. Every appointment run 30 to 60 minutes late, often the wait time far exceeds the appointment. The phones are never answered and the friendliness of the receptionists is lacking.

I started visiting Lincoln Park Dental Specialists from 3 years ago, and had 3 implants, and 1 broken tooth extracted. Dr. Mackler is very nice and kind with excellent skills. Before the surgeries, he explained the procedures clear and easy to understand, during surgeries he performed very well and his assistants are very caring and they would tell you what would be the next step so you wouldnt feel nervous, after surgeries there were follow-ups to make sure you are fully recovered. All the surgeries went very well, pain free and recovered well. I am very thankful.I also have dental cleaning rotation in Lincoln Park Dental Specialists, hygienist Paige takes good care of my dental hygiene, and shes also very nice and very pleasant to talk to.Overall I am very satisfied and have a good experience with this clinic. I just went back to their office to have a wisdom tooth pulled. Great screening for Covid. Exceptional service, no pain, no swelling. My colleagues were amazed I went to work afterwards. I was blown away by the follow up call the next day checking to see how I was feeling and if I had any questions or concerns. Dr. Mackler does a great job I would highly room recommend him and his practice to anyone looking for implants or wisdom tooth removals. I especially like how they talk you through what they are doing while you’re in the chair. No surprises just great work!

Dr Manos and his team are simply excellent, and have helped me through some challenging procedures. As someone with lousy genetics, I have plenty of experience with dental treatment - this office is the best Ive found.

Sat in the waiting room for 40 minutes and I finally asked how long it would be yet. Finally got in to see the doctor for a consult at it took all of three minutes. The assistant did a great job buying time but it’s absolutely ridiculous on the wait time. We’re supposed to be early but for what? To sit and wait. The reception was less than thrilled. Unfortunately I have to go back for the actual procedure.

While I wont fault the fresh out of school dentist for my failed implant, I do take issue with the complete lack of organization at this practice. Ive checked in more than once and been forgotten (the front desk staff simply radios the assistants that there is a patient for the dentist then does NOTHING if no one shows up). They have an assembly line process where no one communicates. Every time I went for follow up it was like 50 first dates where I had to tell them why I was there. They make you sit in the waiting room and be called to schedule a follow up, even if they forgot you when you checked in, with no respect for the patients time. To make matters worse, they billed me $70 to get my records. After paying over $3000 for a failed implant, this was such an insult. AVOID!
