Great service! Came in to get my LG stylo 6 screen replaced since it was broken . They replaced it within 24hrs!. They beat out other repair shops price by almost $80 dollars and they are a local business as well.

I forgot to review before but I’ve been here many times and the last time I went I had a cracked screen and my sensory touch wasn’t working. I paid well over $100 to get the sensory issue fixed and it still didn’t work after they “fixed” it so I’m not sure what I paid so much for. I know they have their 90 day warranty but I don’t have time to be going back and forth that’s what the 1st time is for.

Great service took iPhone 11 to fix damage speaker( both speakers were damage) they fixed it same day and price was very fair. I will definitely come back in future when I need a deviced fix.

Best Place to repair your devices

Brought my phone in and they take forever to give me an estimate and when I decided not to do it, they told me to come back the next day to pick up my phone because they needed to assemble it. Point is they take forever

I took a working phone too replace a cracked screen when they gave it back too me it was not working they said my phones mother board is damaged and will cost more money.I think they messed it up too get me out of more money bad service will not recommend

Paid 125 for a screen replacement that didn’t last me longer than a day. Then said that it would not be covered under warranty and I would have to pay an extra hundred. Save your money and go to simple fix on 55th and Kedzie better quality screens and customer service

I am so thankful I came to Gadgetech. My Galaxy S8 didnt give an image. I went to 3 different repair shops where it was diagnosed as a motherboard repair but none of them were able to fix it for me. I had so many pictures of my baby and her birth and I was so anxious about losing them. A neighbor told me about Gadgetech and Id figure I had nothing to lose. I want to cry because they were able to fix my phone and I have all of my pictures!!!!! I can not recommend them enough. Their customer service was great and the repair was fast as well

I took my computer to fix the back cover because it was broken so they only charged me $80. When i got my computer fix. My screen was scratched from the right side. It seems some one did the with a key scratch. I was very disappointed because my computer has sentimental value. I told the guy That my computer it wasnt like that scratch it is very deep that you can tell right away. He said the they take care of the thing they take in. And I know my computer wasnt like that much damage form in front. When I got home my computer have a password which I told the that guy that my computer didnt have password and in the bill said none password. He said that it was very cheap for 80 dollars he said that what I was expecting for $80. I told him thats the price he told me He was acting if he was doing me a favor. And he didnt do anything about my situation. Theres some places to go its NOT THE ONLY PLACE !!!! Im very disappointed form this place I definitely not recommend at all.!!!

My phone was dead. I bought a new battery and still it did not turn on. I was very hesitant on were to take it to get fixed since this would be my first time.Decided to try Gadgetech because they specialize in only fixing phones. Not like other electronics other establishments that I was looking at.I went in the store and the receptionist was very helpful and answered my questions thoroughly. The sim card, cover and memory card were taken out and I was given a receipt stating that they were in my possession. The process of leaving my phone so that it can be diagnosed was explained clearly and also the charges. I left my phone and I was called three days later and was told it was my motherboard. They gave me a fair price and I requested to think about it. They said it was fine and they would wait for me . I made up my mind 2 days later. Again I had more questions and the receptionist was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions.I have my phone and I could not be happier. I would definitely be going back in the future.

Took my daughters tablet in for a charging port replacement and was $50.00. They had it done in 2-3 days. Took it home and battery was dead since I gave it to them and it took over 24 hours to charge and always stuck at 80%. Since they have a 90 days warranty, I took it back and they said the previous one was defected and so they replaced it. Same problem the second time after they replaced it. Never fully charged. I know its not my charging cable because I didnt have this issue until I replaced the charging port.

All I have to say is these guys at this store are just amazing.When I had a major issue with my iPhone after having the screen replaced by them they covered the early upgrade fee I had to do to get a working phone from T-Mobile since the phone no longer operating propertly.When I say the two times I have been there the customer service has been spectacular I am not exaggerating. The third time I was there Christian was the one that help me . Then the second time there were several people but Guillermo was the one that help me the most and was just absolutely amazing . Thank you all for being so great and hopefully I wont need you guys again anytime soon but if I do you guys are my to go place .

I would not go back I took my phone for a screen repair And then they call me that my phone was not charging and something with my camera, I told them that if everything. Was fine when I took it, still I had to pay for what they told me was wrong and the broken screen from 60 that I was going to pay I had to pay 200 it’s not fair we have to pay for their mistake, so I would not recommend this place

Not the best place to go if you expect good customer service. It took them a few days to return my tablet and when they did, I come to find out the battery was draining very rapidly unlike before where it could go for days. Look elsewhere. 1 star rating since ultimately it was fixed.

So for starters I should say that I am avid phone breaker. I have a galaxy S5 and I do not have a case on it because the phone is already too big.... well long story short, I was getting into my car and put all my stuff on top of my car to sort it all out, the rest is history. I drove away with my phone on my car and smashed the screen pretty bad! I though it would not be repairable. someone recommended Gadgetech to me so I called them up to see what was necessary to get it fixed and they told me to come in! Once visiting the Chicago location they assure me my phone would be fixed and in super fast turnaround! Im so happy with my experience I will recommend to everyone! After having such an awful experience with a different phone repair company i was slightly reluctant to approach Cris, however my phone needed fixing!He was very understanding, talked me through the indicators to prove the other company had falsely charged me, fixed little bits and pieces in-front of me that the other company had said they had done and then finally replaced the battery with a new one...which again the other company had said they had done!this took less than an hourIsmashed had my phone for 3 whole weeks, got my phone mixed up with someone elses, didnt repair the faults and it came back with new ones, they didnt give me the case back that i had bought off them and left me with a ridiculous bill.Thanks for making it all OK, (in a world where we seem to rely on our phones for everything!)Highly recommended *****

Please STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!Took my phone in for a battery replacement because my battery was draining. When I received my phone back the battery was still draining within minutes of use. They refunded my $60 (which they claim is the lowest price around and its not). When i got home my phone would mot turn on and altough I had brought my phone in working they claimed that it is not their fault the phone wont turn on since it has a bad battery!!! So now Im stuck with a paperweight.Do yourself a favor and look for another place!!! I will definitely not use their services again. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

I have been repairing electronics for more than 15 years now and the only reason I came in was because I was in a huge hurry to get some files from my ipod for work. it had a cracked screen so I couldnt access the files.when I came in I told them if they would have it ready within the hour like they advertised, they did tell me it could possibly be two hours and I was fine by this.3 hours passed and I went back to pick up the ipod they told me it wasnt ready because the power button didnt work and they wanted my authorization to fix it for an extra fee of course, I ended up waiting another hour.I know this ipod worked fine when I dropped it off other than the cracked screen. Im thinking they just broke it to get me to spend more.Be careful! they will rip you off!

What a father, you can haggle your cell phone after it has gotten wet, had spent a lot on new cell phones, the children wet them frequently. My HTC was damaged and Gadetech fixed it without problem. Good service I recommend it.
