Mary was so helpful with my alterations and was very accommodating with my schedule when everything with covid happened. My dress fit me perfectly and she even made some extra adjustments that made it look better than I couldve imagined. I definitely recommend her for all of your alteration needs!

Mary did an absolutely amazing job. My dress was several sizes off because it was a sample size and she made it fit it perfectly. We also changed the style of the dress to make it more personalized and Mary added hand-sewn lace to the bodice. In the end I had exactly the dress I wanted. Mary is also incredibly pleasant to work with. I really cannot recommend her enough! I posted before and after pics of my dress so you can appreciate just how good of a job she did!

Mary is absolutely a saint. I dont know what I would have done without her! I was working on an extremely condensed timeline given COVID & delays with my dress being sent from Europe. Mary was able to squeeze me in, offered INCREDIBLY thorough highlights and follow-ups after our first appointment and told me up front exactly what the costs were (which were incredibly competitive).She made the dress look like an absolutely dream and fit perfectly. Mary was the absolute best part of my wedding dress experience. 5 stars is an understatement. She is kind, warm and extremely talented. My dress needed many adjustments -- including removing and hand placing lace appliqué on the bodice and adding an entire row of satin buttons down the back. Mary was a magician with my dress. I brought her a much too big sample, and she hand-stitched and cut and sewed it to fit me perfectly! I was so so happy with my wedding dress, and would not have taken it off it was it my choice. Mary is very patient, and a wonderful listener. She’s full of ideas, but always takes your into consideration first. Her studio is very convenient, as are her appointment schedules (just remember to book her early!). I also loved that she takes electronic payments - very easy! Mary made dress alterations a cinch - I never had to worry, because I knew it was in capable, confident hands. Thanks so much Mary!

I purchased my dream dress but it happened to be literally 6 sizes too big. On top of taking it down in size my goal was to convert the dress into more of a fitted mermaid than the soft flute skirt it normally had. I was terrified the job was too big but Mary did it with easy. I can’t say enough about the whole process. She’s the best!

Mary should be your go-to alternationist in Chicago. She was such a pleasure to work with for my wedding dress alterations. My dress didnt need a lot of work but Mary still made subtle changes and hemmed it so it fit absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend Mary for wedding dress alterations.
