I was recommend to this tailor shop by Morris & Sons on Polk street. I trusted them for the first time to alter two suits totaling $4500. I picked the suits up, and arrived home only, to realize they did a horrible job including leaving the lining of the jacket open. I am going to show Morris & Sons, and tell them not to recommend this shop this is TERRIBLE. This is a $2500 suit, and I am very upset.

Great customer service! My dress wasn’t ready on time so the employee offered to get it done that day and drop it off to my home. I said I would pick it up after work instead and when I went to pick it up, the dress was ready and beautifully altered. They didn’t charge me for the alterations because of the delay. That is truly great customer service. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend give them the suit more than a week ago, in advance they promised that It would be ready Saturday morning, when He went they did not give him any answer why It was not ready. Besides that they did not know where they had put the coat and after 30 min they told him that it was not ready and that he should come on Monday. Surprising that on Monday they gave him the suit with the buttons not in a straight line, and also they lost the the original bag of hugo boss of his suit and they gave him one of Macys that is ripped.Terrible work here, I don’t recommend no one to come to this place especially if you appreciate your clothes. They are unprofessional.

Department stores like Macys, Nordstroms, and Bloomingdales either depend on him now or have a history with his business. Because of this, his walls are adorn with photos of local, national, and international history makers. However, if you ask him, hell tell you anyone with a picture can go on the wall because everyone is special.Hes a kind and fair person with a ton of knowledge about fabrics, how they gather, what is real vs psuedo quality. I have taken him both store bought and custom garments to fix to my liking. He knows what looks good and he delivers. He staff is efficient and thorough.Prices are not flat. Material, detail of work, timing, and other factors are considered when pricing a garment so its imperative that you go in instead of calling for a quote. Avoid frustrating yourself.

READ BELOW!So, I went to Franks alterations I had A garment I wanted alterations on.At first I picked up on the vibe of the place (They Really didnt want to assist me it seem)I starting to feel like I was being discriminated against for being a member of the( LGBTQ community)So I waited few more minutes,Then the owner Frank steps in,To ask me what I needed.I pull out my item I show him what alterations I wanted done.So he gives me the (overly priced!)fee.( I was like ok fine) I was told the item would be prepared & ready the following Thursday at noonish.So Friday comes ( I even have them A extra Day)Mind you giving them close to a week to get my item done & ready for pick.So Im greeted with the most disrespectful(nastiest attitude!)by the clerk (Sonia T) At first they didnt have a idea about my item.(Seriously)Everyone was looking around clueless.So they Eventually found my item.The garment wasnt even! Fixed AT All! They used the Excuse that the seamstress was out sick for 3 days. Now mind you they had my garment for going on 6 to 7 business days close to a week!& during the duration of the 6 to 7 business days I didnt even receive a (Phone Call) to inform me.That my items were not prepared or needed more time to be alternated.This is very unacceptable I explained!The older Mexican man next to Sonia TI ask them both (Due to the delay would I receive a discount) They werent even tryin to hear that.(I replied this is very unprofessional)This clerk (Sonia T)With the Nastiest,appalling additude.Had the audacity to Toss! I mean, Toss! My items at Me! (Rollin hear eyes)speaking in Spanish.We exchange words, Then to put sugar on top of this(Distasteful horiffic customer service experience)Sonia T pulls out her phone & takes my pictureAs shes talking in Spanish calling me All out of my name.(Little did she realize I speak & understand Spanish)So the owner Frank called me about what had happen.He giving me a (cover) of a ExplanationOffering to sew my item for free. I lost 15 lbs between the time I bought my tux and the first time I wore it. They cut my tux and made me look like new money. I have had two others suits altered with the same results. A well tailored suit says a lot about a man. Frank and team makes me look great.

Fun fact, I used Franks Alterations for my senior prom many moons ago, and was slightly verklempt when I walked back in to have my sons suit altered for his senior prom. After several (friendly) rounds with me, Frank himself came on out and gave personal attention to the suit that my son wanted to wear. We hashed out details such as length of pants (Im not a fan of this capri/tapered look that the kids are wearing) but we did come to an agreement, and everyone left happy. The work is fantastic, and I would recommend Franks to anyone who needed precise and fast work done on clothing items. Look at me, Im back after having a wonderful experience with them MY senior year of high school.

Great place to take your clothes for tailoring, alterations and repairs, I have a down coat I brought from one of the high end department stores and the lining tore inside of the coat, Franks repaired my coat and it looks as good as new. Affordable prices also!!

Very good at what they do

Frank and his team works miracles with clothes. I bought a vintage Burberry trenchcoat online that needed to be hemmed, the sleeves taken out and the waist taken in. Not only did Frank masterfully execute all of the needed alterations, he did it in a week and under $100! Im buying more vintage gems now knowing that I can take them to Frank.
