Suzies the best. Lots of balding (or bald?) men frequent this barbershop. But dont worry: they cut my full head of hair well. I love the conversation. Like going back home to your Slavic mother. When they talk to each other in Serbian they are not talking trash. At least I dont think so.

Even now, when I dont live near Lincoln Square, I ride the brown line up to Western just to get a haircut (and shop at Lauries Planet of Sound): excellent, careful, attentive haircut at a great price. Laid-back atmosphere. I love Slavka, and I love this shop.

These two ladies are fantastic! They will give you a great cut for an affordable price and they are great people. I wouldnt recommend going if you are making a drastic change to your hairstyle, but if you get a simple trim or have a simple cut, you wont find a better place.

Slavka and Suzie are the barbers at this shop and work so closely together that they both know exactly what I want. I appreciate them both so dearly that when they are both open I absolutely cannot make the decision of who to see, so I try to switch off. The last time I was there I was lucky because I brought a friend along and we got haircuts at the same time lol.This business has two barbers who absolutely love their job and simply just love their customers. You can literally feel the love put into their work. They enjoy learning about your life as well as sharing stories about their own. I love hearing their stories.Suzie and Slavka are from Serbia and have been cutting hair for decades. Not that I request it often, but Slavka can even perform an old school razor shave with the hot towel and everything.They are super respectful of your time. If youre in a hurry and dont feel chatty they will clean you up good in a jif. I have been in a hurry a couple times during my visits but I personally like to plan for my days off work and truly enjoy an old school haircut.The surrounding area is beautiful as well what with one of Chicagos most famous parks (Welles) and many restaurants nearby.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
