I had an excellent hair cut from Mabel. Staff is super friendly. I appreciate it so much that they accommodated me as a walk in without a long wait at all. Kudos.

Laura is amazing! She’s talented, professional, always on time or early, and easy to talk to. When I work in the Loop I am in and out in about 20 minutes so I can easily go over lunch. I will never get my hair cut anywhere else!

This is the way barber shops should be. Friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Hometown feel. I cant speak for all the barbers but have always had a great cut.

Oh I miss this place. For years I use to come here every 3 weeks during my lunch break and Maggie would work her magic. Unfortunately, due to COVID, we are working from home. I look forward to my return once our office opens up. This place is fantastic and I hope all the stylists are doing well.

The staff is so incredibly friendly, especially Brittany. Never use to go to the same person more than once but she does such a great job I can not see ever going to anyone else again. Helps that shes fun to talk to as well!

I was in town for a conference and saw Brittany for the best haircut of my life. She was professional, courteous, and kept me entertained and enthralled with conversation. Shes the real deal and knows how to cut a mans hair, listening to exactly what I wanted. I hadnt had a cut in four months as Im so picky and my usual barber moved. So glad to have chosen Brittany while in Chicago. The Chicago Buzz has a fabulous location and atmosphere too. Great barbershop, got $10 off since it was my first haircut here. Courtney was great and worked with me to get exactly what I wanted. Its . . . cheap for a womans haircut, probably somewhat pricey if youre a guy (was $55 with the discount). But I really liked it! Would go again.

I stumbled on them last friday when I was looking for a quick haircut and everything seemed to be booked up. They attended me right away, my barber Maj did a really great job. Hes clearly passionate about his job and very easy to talk to. You can even make an appointment via a phone app..Definitely will be coming back

Im getting married in a month and needed a new barbershop. Ive been shaving my head for 4 years out of convenience, and a receding hairline. My fiancé insisted that I grow it out for the wedding anyway. I found the Chicago Buzz on a quick Google search of the area around my work, and made an appointment through the MINDBODY app.I didnt have to talk over the phone or go back and forth with anyone about availability. The app clearly shows available time slots by stylists. I made an appointment with Nora and received a convenient calendar appointment added to my Google calendar as well as push notifications when my appointment was drawing near.The facility itself is fairly open and you dont feel like youre squeezing between the chairs or the clients. I didnt feel like a man invading a hair salon, which is how I feel going to other chain locations. I met with Nora, who was super friendly and asked about my haircut preference. Everyone there looked experienced and Nora was no exception. She deftly trimmed and cut my hair in no time at all.I plan on coming back right before my wedding, and Ill continue to visit for regular haircuts afterwards.
