I just moved from FL, and Im so happy I found this place. I wanted to make sure I found a place with professional hairstylist, and Im please to say u have. However, only down to it is there are no Barber. I would highly recommend hiring a good Barber who could work with shaves, and beards for men.But everything else was rocking, love the place, atmosphere, a very clean & neat place.I would definitely recommend their service, and I myself would be returning.Thank you!

I had an early meeting on Monday morning and needed to get my hair done. I called before the place opened and the person that answered the phone was very nice and accommodating. She took me right away and had me done in less time than I thought. Can definitely appreciate how well I was taken care of will definitely be back.

One of the best haircuts Ive gotten in the city! Its a wonderfully designed space that makes you feel luxurious when you step inside. I cant say enough great things about the haircut though. Maya is super detail-oriented and is always 100% focused on making sure your hair is perfect before you leave. She wears a mask at all times, and so did I. Great place to get your hair cut in Wicker Park/Bucktown area. Always very happy with my cut and options offered by my stylist. Appreciate the recent efforts to accommodate COVID-19 protocols. Always feel safe and taken care of. While I’ve always used Maya, I’ve heard several folks very happy with other Stylists as well. Great location with easy street parking. Very Fair pricing. Started going here about 4 months ago and although it is on the pricier side, it’s worth it. Both stylists are exceptional and try to make the experience as enjoyable as possible. They take great care in their craft, which is important to me! Plus you can even have a glass of whiskey while you get a cut, can’t beat that.

I have lived in wicker for 2+ years and Maya and Modern Gentlemen Salon has provided the best consistent service of any men’s haircut in the area. I have tried Halo, Floyd’s, and other spots and nothing has come close in comparison. Maya is friendly and reasonable about any requests and I have not tried anywhere else in the last year!

Great salon and haircut! The building is nice, the inside has a nice vibe, and Maya (owner) is extremely attentive to what youre looking for. She cut my hair and made sure along the way that I was happy with what she was doing. Best haircut in a long time - Ill definitely be coming back.
