Had my wedding here years ago. I’m so glad it’s still here because I will definitely recommend this place.

Our event took place on 12/15/18. It exceeded our expectations. Great food, good service and friendly staff. Special thanks to Becky, Luis and Joanne. The day of the event all of the food servers were willing to help and provided excellent service. I was amazed that they even gave me the leftover food, that was the cherry on the top. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication.

Event was on 9/17/17.Everything was as expected and much better. Food was great and guests where happy. The ambiance is so perfect!

Weve attended several events with Garden Banquets and loved every one of them. Attentive service, wonderful food and lovely atmosphere. Each hall has something different to offer, including one with a small garden just outside the hall. My sisters were both married at one of the halls and our family still talks about how wonderful the weddings were!

DISGUSTING! Let me start by saying, the roof leaks and they dont bother to call you or do ANYTHING about it, and offer no solution when you arrive with your wedding guests!!! My guests had dirty roof water dripping on them and their tables! Joannes solution, call the owner Walter... guess who never called me back?!?My first warning sign should have been that they have too many coordinators, 1, promises something and then the other says oh, too bad thats not in the contract! So, advice MAKE THEM WRITE IT ALL DOWN & TAKE A COPY, because they LOSE stuff!At tasting, roast beef was full slices. Day of, bits and tiny pieces were served. Terrible, embarrassing!Our wedding was at 6pm and Joanne wouldn’t allow our vendors there until 4:30, needless to say guests arrived while things were being set up.Service was AWFUL!!! Couldnt even get water!Other problems that occurred during the course of my event were not handled properly, Joanne whos been there 40 years speaks condescendingly but puts a hand on you, so all better.... NO!!! Handle things do it in a timely fashion. Be helpful not hurtful on the most important day of my sons life. Details of the situation dont matter, bottom line extra stress was added to my day, reception was delayed.Im completely disappointed and my guests could see that, all I was asked for was a good review during the planning I was looking forward to doing that... but unfortunately for me, I cant!

Beautiful establishment

We had a bad experiencing in the first consultation looking for a wedding venue. The representative was 15 minutes late to our appointment, he excused himself saying he had just come from his other job (wearing construction clothes), he did not greet us, and he was flipping pages on the binder when we asked for a quote. He wrote the price quote on a napkin. The place was not bad, although it had a musty carpet smell. Overall, the bad customer service killed it all.

Delicious family style wedding feast, friendly service. CLEAN! Great bartenders. Best wedding this year!

Let me start by saying if I can give no stars I would last night my poor sister the mother of the bride was crying because of these hall people the one on Irving park it was a nightmare for her all of her guest RSVP like asked and yet they didnt have enough tables set up and would not set up anymore for her even though 2 tables were sitting there empty with nothing on them. And if that wasnt bad enough the lady Joanna or what ever was arguing with her in front of her standing guest while my sister is crying so we had to sit them and peoples table they didnt know and they didnt get to sit together. They lady came to our table like 4 time stalking our table like our u sure someone in sitting the the chairs are still empty yes cause there at the bar.. Then the roof had 3 leaks one right were bridal party walked down and were the dance floor is, and one more this that lady Joanna my sister was trying to eat dinner cold food by the way,came up to her and is like your four plates over ok my sister wouldnt care if she has to pay double it not the time yet thats the same lady 12 years ago made my sister in law cry during her reception there telling them there relationship wont last Im so surprised she is still there ....

GARDEN TERRACE EAST - The venue that we chose was the garden terrace east. It was perfection. I have included a few more photos and a few photos of the outdoor garden area (bummed that it is only for photos and people cannot hang out back there, but it was ok. It the most ideal place. I loved it. We were married in September and we still talk about and as our guests. It is a very special place with ambiance. At the garden terrace east there are two rooms to choose from a very large room and a smaller room. We didnt invite that many so 100 people fit perfecty and comfortably without being crowded at all. We did not want a large venue where we would only fill half the tables and look like people who have no friends. We wanted it to feel like a special intimate gathering and still feel special and decorated. We barely added decorations because the venue itself is kind of magical. It helped us choose our theme. I highly highly highly recommend. We also chose to get our catering through Saranecki brothers (they work for/under Garden Terrace. All the photos at they display must be from the 70s. The photos were the biggest disappointment. UPDATE THEM!!!!However, That being said, every single dish we chose was beyond delicious! I am looking through my phone to see if I can add photos. Everything they made was flavorful and beautiful! This was the best experience. I could not have asked for a more magical day. I will add pictures of the venue empty. Pictures with our party there so you can see what it looks like with people and hopefully I can find pictures of the food to add. Buy the way I still dream about that fried chicken. my god that fried chicken was some of the best i have ever eaten in my life. I know they are listed as 3 stars, but they deserve 6! thats right. more than 5, because they were that worth it! Thank you for making my day so perfect. We will never forget it! Our reception is still talked about! Thank you thank you thank you :D

The golden platter had a funny smell to it and the price they gave me was different from the one they emailed me they showed me some plastic plates,forks and knives no thanks for 4k+ Decided to go somewhere else
