Want to thank HASS HONDA For solving an issue with my vehicle Shop is very thorough & professional I like the quality work that they do they thrive to do the best work possible for the vehicle and the customer THANK U π
HAAS is absolutely amazing. I have owned several Hondas and have trusted them with each one for routine maintenance. They are knowledgeable and honest. I have also referred family members who have also been pleased with their services. Even when the stealership was unable to get to the root of the problem, HAAS did. As long as I own a Honda, I will ALWAYS trust HAAS with my vehicle.
Bob is the best in the business for Honda vehicles!
Never would ever send anyone there they made sure that charged me the highest price, to make up for lack of business, I had to tow my car there and they took advantage! Can not recommend! Terrible experience
I came to Haas for work on my β04 Accord on a friendβs recommendation. They checked a clutch issues, brakes, and A/C, and were able to carefully drop the exhaust and install a hitch. The latter is the only thing actually paid for. They explained all of their work, communicated risks and trade-offs and progress throughout the day, documented everything clearly, maintained good pandemic practices, and as an added bonus gave me a cash discount! I would highly recommend them to any Honda / Acura owner.
Very professional and honest shop.
Loved the human person answering the phone, very personable.
Ive used them so many times and theyve always been much better quality (and less expensive) than the dealership. On top of that, theyre so incredibly polite.
If youve got a Honda, go here! Super knowledgeable, reasonable rates. And they love on your Honda as much as you do.
Brought my car over to them last week because I had a coolant leak. They told me it was my radiator. So they fixed it and said that it wasnβt leaking anymore. As of today it is still leaking. Just not from the radiator. They will not get anymore of my business after this. I will not recommend them to anyone.
I initially sought out HAAS when I took my 2014 Honda Civic to a dealership, and they informed me that my drive shafts needed to be replaced and the work would be $1,500. Im by no means a car expert, but I figured this was not my cheapest option. I found HAAS online and read through a few reviews, and felt pretty good going in. When I went in they told me my drive shafts still had plenty of life and did not need to be replaced for a long time. The relief of not getting expensive work done was amazing! I came back for an oil change and eventually did get my drive shafts replaced later, and I could not be happier with the service or the substantially better price. I have now been in for any issues that have popped up, and on more than one occasion I have not had anything done because the issues were not yet an actual problem. I cannot recommend this shop enough. They are thorough, professional, friendly, knowledgeable, reliable, fast, and ethical. If you have a Honda or honestly any car than this is the shop you need to go to. I will NEVER go to another shop.
The same experience of a dealership mechanic. $400 less than dealership. The very crucial (pricey) timing belt/ water pump preventive maintenance Recommended by Honda. Bring a book, and maybe some handiwipes the waiting room might as well be the garage.
Good and honest, night and day compared to some dealerships.
My 2001 Acura (~20 years) has gotten me through some good years, and I made the mistake 10 years ago of going to a dealership. They dont know old Honda cars. So as Ive moved across the country Ive looked for Honda specific mechanics. HAAS is that. They are very transparent with recommended work and when something hasnt quite been solved, theyvettheyve my car back without extra charge to figure it out (power steering issue). Ive been going to them for a few years now.
Rick and Bob are ones to fully trust with your Honda/Acura. They are not there to mint your money. With each service, Bob has given me explanations for what parts do. They only urge you to fix critical issues and do not pressure you into non-critical fixes. Regardless, their prices are very reasonable!
Love this place for all maintenance needed on my Honda
Very professional and knowledgeable group of people. Additionally, rather than simply replacing components they will thoroughly troubleshoot issues and make a reasonable effort to only repair what is truly causing the problem. This is based on my recent experience with having them successfully repair my 2012 Honda Fits A/C. After first pursuing the issue directly with a Honda dealership, HAAS was recommended to me by a long-time customer. Comparing costs in this particular situation, having my Honda repaired by HAAS saved me $1,016.66 after the work was complete and charged π».
Best place to get your Honda/Acura serviced. Minh is the man!! Couldnβt be happier!!!
Outstanding Honda, and acura repair shop
HAAS is an exceptional repair shop with incredible integrity and wonderful customer service. I initially took my car to the dealership (never again) to repair some minor damage from clipping a curb and they quoted me $2300. The service technician was incredibly demeaning through the whole process, at one point actually having the nerve to sarcastically tell me I shouldnt have driven over the curb. It was a stressful situation made worse by the patronizing attitude of the technician. When I ultimately got the final quote on the repairs, I knew I wanted to get another estimate. HAAS got my car in quickly and was able to look at the damage and troubleshoot it by fixing one component at a time. They ultimately repaired everything for $750 and kept me updated every step of the way. The best part was after I got the car and paid the pill, they called me after realizing they overcharged me for a part they didnt ultimately need and refunded me $176! Incredible integrity. HAAS has another extremely satisfied customer and I wont go anywhere else for car repairs.
I have owned two Honda Civics dating back to 1997. When I needed the first one serviced I found HAAS because I wanted to go to an independent service center. Bob Murata is the most knowledgeable and honest repair person I have met. HAAS always does a detailed inspection of my vehicle and without pressure recommends what needs service. If the car needed to stay more than a day, HAAS always calls and clearly tells me the timetable for finishing. I wont get my Civic serviced anywhere else. Highly recommended.
Great, honest staff, genuine Acura/Honda parts and excellent service at good prices
Ive been coming here for years. High Quality. Real experts.
Had my Vehicle serviced here they were very professional, knowledgeable and fair with their prices and like the fact that they only use oem parts
Best place to have any work done on your Honda or Acura
Professional & honest service that is reasonably priced with a level of expertise that rivals, and in most cases, better than the dealership. Been taking my Hondas here for years. Support your local independently owned business!
One of the few shops where I dont feel like Im getting scammed. Theyre honest about what does and doesnt need repair and have never charged me more than I thought was reasonable. Im a huge fan of their use of OEM parts and their expertise with Honda/Acura - I know their going to do the job right using high quality parts and materials. They havent disappointed me in 4 years as a customer and I highly recommend them if you drive a Honda or Acura.
The staff is very nice. The front desk person explains the diagnosis in an easy to understand way and gives you options to choose. They dont up sell their services. Quick fix for your Honda and Acura
Great specialists for Honda and Acura and grate costumer service!
Do not take your Acura or Honda anywhere else for service. This is the most reputable shop in Chicago. The staff is not only friendly but knowledgeable. The owner consistently takes time to answer any questions I have. Do not go to the dealer, come to HAAS. -Jason
Top rate. This is my 4th Honda and Haas has serviced them all for the last 15+ years. I have gone to dealerships, brand name mechanics and street mechanics, but no one comes close to HAAS. They have honest and skilled staff who truly care that u get the necessary, quality service to maintain your car beyond the warranty period.
I read reviews online and decided to bring my 2000 Honda Prelude Type SH in for repairs. Long story short, it was the BEST EXPERIENCE I could ask for. I had brought my car to several mechanics before and no one could figure out what was wrong with my car. After bringing it in, Bob the owner, diagnosed what was wrong with my car in under an hour. I received a great price for amount of work done and my car runs like brand new now! I will refer any and everyone Bobs way. Not to mention, finding a mechanic this honest is almost impossible nowadays. Rest assured, if you bring your car in for repairs, youre in good hands!
Ive been going to this place since I got my 2004 TSX. They provide great service and fair prices. Not only the price is good than most shops, their work speaks for itself. These guys definitely know what theyre doing . They use OEM parts which big plus in my book. Free 1 year warranty work on most major repair jobs. A+++++
I have been bringing my Hondas to HAAS for 20+ years. My wife and I have driven Hondas exclusively for the last 20+ years. I dread going to a dealer for ANYTHING. They seem to always want to sell you something. I have brought my car here after being told I needed work by the dealers . Only to be instructed that the service they told me was required, was actually not. Like brake pads for instance. If you own a Honda, there is no better place to have your car serviced. These guys are the real deal. Top notch work at fair prices. No unnecessary work is what keeps me coming back.
We moved up here from the East Coast and thought we would never find a Honda shop as good as the one we had back home (Triangle Motors in Frederick, MD - recommended!). But a little searching turned up Haas, and today I picked up my car after its first repair with these guys. Absolutely top notch in every way. Professional on the phone, crystal clear in explaining repair policy, equally clear in explaining what needed repairs were AND a thorough run-down of what would be needed in the future, without trying to sell me anything I didnt need. They even did an improvised repair on part of the bumper, which would have cost about $800 to do normally (on a 96 Honda we paid $2800 for), FOR NO CHARGE. I asked if I could pay something extra for that repair, and was told no, just keep coming back. Which I certainly will.If you live in Chicago and dont have a Honda, get one so you can get it fixed here. Itll be worth it.
I visited Haas for a second opinion. The Honda dealer Id used for service sent me an email saying that during my last visit for an oil change theyd discovered significant wear on my brakes and they strongly recommended over $600 in repairs including new brake pads and shoes, regrinding the rotors and flushing and replacing all the brake fluid. When I visited Haas I didnt mention the dealers recommendations, I just told them Id heard some noise while braking. They test drove the car, pulled the wheels and inspected the brakes on all wheels and told me I had another 8,000 miles on my front brakes and 20,000 miles on my rear brakes. They told me theyd be no charge. Needless to say, Haas will be performing all service on my car in the future. I cant recommend them too highly.
If you have a Honda or Acura, you should not take your car other than HAAS. Few highlights of this place:1. They only use genuine parts2. They are honest: dont ask to pay for something thats not needed3. They really do guarantee their work and you can rest assure that repair is done properlyHAAS is one of the main reason why I stay with Honda/Acura family.
As good as it gets. Fair pricing and knowledgeable folks.
Caring and great service. The service is a bit pricey, but you get what you paid for.
I was tired of the $200 oil change at the dealership meaning I couldnt get an oil change without the dealership adding on other required maintenance.Even when I suggest some maintenance item to Haas, they check the car out and let me know whats needed. Ive been going to Haas a couple of years now. Theyve worked on the brakes, changed the battery and Im completely satisfied.By the way, changing the oil costs $36 bucks.
We drive all the way from the western suburbs to come to Haas. They are specialists for honda and most importantly very honest with reasonable price. I would highly recommend them
We started taking our out-of-warranty Acura to Haas a few months ago after a couple of disappointing experiences with our Acura dealers service dept. The people at Haas are very knowledgeable and have been straightforward and trustworthy so far.
Only place I would take my Acura or Honda outside of a dealer. In fact, I chose HAAS more often than not since their prices were better than the dealership for service.Everyone there was friendly and knowledgable. Last time I took my 2008 MDX there he saved me $1000 in unnecessary repairs.
These guys will fix what is wrong, and not BS you if you really do not need a repair.I went here first when my cooling relay was bad, and thought I had a much bigger problem. a cheap fix later I was as goodas gold. The mechanics here have worked on, owned, and moded hondas/Acs before, so thy will tell you hat you need and what would be a waste.I have since been back to get my suspensionand clutch replaced, and will use them for about every major issue I have. Great place, and good people!
I have been using HAAS for years for my various Hondas. Bob Murata (the owner) has always done right my me. I have never felt that I was taken advantage or that work was done poorly or unnecessarily. Conversely, Bob has not done work that other mechanics have told me needed to be done. As long as Bob is the owner, I trust HAAS implicitly with my cars.
Excellent services, honest people.
One happy customer...
Great place
