Best body shop around period!!!Someone hit my rear quarter panel of my Volvo recently and A CARSTAR was very professional and had my car fixed at a very reasonable amount of time my car looks beautiful would never know that anyone had ever had it at all !!!And I’m pretty particular went over it with a fine tooth comb can’t even tell where it was hit :)🤷🏻‍♀️highly recommend A CARSTAR !!! I had my bumper and siding dinged up and even though the time estimate on the repair was one week they had it turned around in just two days! The staff were very friendly and professional, even taking the time to back my car out of the shop and turn it around for me so I didn’t have to deal with the heavy traffic on Western. Got into an accident and chose this shop based on my insurance and other Google reviews. GLAD I DID! As soon as I stepped foot into the shop, a smile was put on my face. Max, the owner, has been utterly fantastic. Parts were ordered and my car was done in just over a week from when the accident took place. I was involved in a car accident on August 8th and I called about 4 different shops and no one could even take a look at my car at least until the end of September. I called CarStar and spoke with Max (the owner) on August 14th and although he had a full work load he still allowed me to bring my car in that same day. I’ve never been in an accident before this and I didn’t know what to do and what State Farm would need from me. Although CarStar is not a preferred shop, Max knew exactly what to do and took care of everything for me. Even when Enterprise did not have an available rental for me the day I dropped my car off to CarStar, Max made a phone call and I received a rental within 30 mins. I picked up my car September 10th, I did have a minor wheel alignment issue but it was fixed the next day after I brought it to their attention. The staff was apologetic and even took me home while it was repaired and then drove my car back to me. I am very grateful for CarStar because if it were not for their shop I would probably still be waiting for my car to be repaired. I would definitely recommend

I needed some body work done on my damaged 2018 Jeep. Went in and talked with Max. I got a quote in 30 minutes. They worked seamlessly with my insurance company. The work was estimated to take 5 days. Dropped the car off the following Monday. The work was completed and picked up by Thursday afternoon. My car looks great! You cannot tell there was ever any damage. There was no stress for me at all getting this work done. I highly recommend CARSTAR on Western.

I visited A-Carr’s yesterday after getting a quote from my Car Dealer to fix the right windshield panel that was loose on my car. The Dealer quoted $900.00 to replace both sides even though only one was loose. The Team at A-Carr’s was able to fix the panel while I waited for substantially less. I highly recommend using A-Carr’s for your car body needs.

We took our car to A-Carr for body and trim work - primarily because of their online positive reviews, a recommendation from a dealer, and their location (conveniently nearby and next to a car rental). The work was paid by insurance so I cant speak to the value of the services. Overall, we were happy with the work from the team at A-Carr. Even though there were some bumps along the way, I attribute them more to the fact that the car is New New (in its first model year), and not a reflection of the quality of work that A-Carr specializes in. You can tell that the owner and staff are attuned to customer service - they went out of their way to ensure that the required work was completed and of high quality. We would use them again for similar work.

My experience was perfect. The initial quote was the same or less than other companies and they did a great job. During the process they kept in touch by text and it was complete when they said it would be done. It was an easy choice and I will be happy to go back to them every time I need something!

Everyone I interacted with here was wonderful. My insurance sent my paperwork over to them and within hours this business called me to explain the next steps. They gave me options of times to come in that worked for me. After getting the estimate they were even able to squeeze me into their full schedule AND were done 2 days earlier than they estimated!

There was a severe lack of accurate timely communication. The estimate was provided within a few days. Unfortunately, the repairs took nearly two months instead of the estimated 16 days. Also, the final cost of the repairs was over twice as much as the initial quote. Apparently, the passenger’s side rear suspension had to be taken apart and put back together four times. Extenuating circumstances exist but communicating these in a timely and transparent manner will go a long way towards accepting these delays. A rental car was eventually provided after contacting my insurance agent and expressing my well earned frustration with the delayed repairs and lack of communication. Furthermore, on separate occasions, The owner Max, his son Zack, and another employee, Mark, were condescending and antagonistic when they did with my wife and i. Lastly, two weeks after the repairs were “completed”, I received an email stating a piece of molding had arrived at the shop and asked if i could bring the car by to install the molding. To be honest, i am surprised i was even contactedabout the pieces that hadn’t been installed when my car was completed. This was a Very poor experience. i recommend you look elsewhere for you car repairs.

Had taken my car to another shop to get a paint job estimate and was told it would be 2-3 days and $400. Came to A-Carr’s Carstar on Western & Montrose, and they took one look and said they would be happy to buff it out for me right now at a much more reasonable price. This is the second time Ive taken my car to A-CARRs CARSTAR and I did so because I had such a great experience the first time. The second time was no different- Max and his son were both available with every question I had and were always polite and respectful. Max continuously updated me on my repairs and also defended my repairs to my insurance adjuster making sure that the repairs for the damage were approved and that everything that needed to get done would. He clearly is passionate about his business, his employees, and his customers because he will fight for you every step of the way with clear and honest communication. On top of that, the work is always great; my car looks better than it did before the accident! I wouldnt take my car anywhere else.

These guys were awesome. Had to wait 3 weeks for my appointment but it was well worth the wait. They had my car done a week earlier than they promised it, and the repairs looked great. They went above and beyond and suctioned out a big dent on my hood for no extra charge. They also cleaned the inside and outside of my car so when I got it back it felt like new. Definitely would recommend.

My car was damaged during the Chicago tornado/superstorm which had wind gusts of up to 100MPG by falling tree branches. I was pretty fortunate because some cars were split in two by larger tree branches and some trees!The team at A-Carr Carstar did a great job in restoring the front of the car to a new condition. I was very impressed with their detailed work and keeping me in the loop during the entire process. It took about a month to complete the work but that included working closely with my insurance company to have the estimates updated 3 times as they determined additional damage caused by the storm.I wholeheartedly recommend them for your auto repair needs!

Ive been to A-Carrs before for body work. Still quality work by a fair and friendly team. Max, Zach and staff run a good shop. There was something wrong w the original repair after my accident, but they listened to what I had to say, went back to insurance, and got the accident related issues covered. I would give a 4.5 star review but thats not an option simply because I had to take the car back. But they made it right in the end. When I picked up the car, it had been cleaned inside and out which I appreciated in COVID-19 times.

Super friendly, excellent work (all 4 times Ive needed work on my car). Theyve even helped me out of a bind more than once. Last week I scraped the side of my car on a post in a tight parking lot and I was gearing up for a big expense. Long story short is they fixed it right then, while I waited and it looks like new! I have had to bring my car back to A-Carrs Carstar twice in the last few months due to other people causing damage to my car. The first time my brand new car was there for a month with $6k work of damages. They wanted the job to be done in a timely fashion and they were very busy, so the outsourced one of the items to Subaru itself. When I had to bring my car back for a second time with some door damage, I mentioned that I heard/felt a faint problem. Rather than not taking me seriously, Max got in the car with me and we tried to hear it. He shared his passion towards fixing cars and doing great service with me and promised to explore the issue that might be showing up from the first repair. Indeed there was a problem with what Subaru did with my car. A-Carr coordinated getting it to and from Subaru and kept me posted along the way. Besides doing solid work, A-Carr is great with email and phone responses and has friendly, caring customer service. Both of my experiences there have been very positive.
