Avmaxx Saved our lives! We had a live podcast and the venue had nothing they promised us…We called Avmaxx and they came and installed the whole set up for us! Mixer, Microphones, speakers, headphones and they even put a light show!Definitely recommend them! They saved our show! Bob Curtis was the Gentlemen that helped us out!

They told me they dont (ever) stock the item I purchased on their website, and they have failed to refund my money after 18 days! Plus, the item is STILL AVAILABLE TO BUY ON THEIR WEBSITE! I spoke with them on the phone and emailed multiple times with no luck. Seems to be a common complaint. This is at least shady if not illegal.

I ordered a product a month ago was finally able to reach someone on the phone about my order 3 weeks later to hear product was discontinued bad customer service never again shopping at PSSL from here on out

We been happily shopping with AVmaxx for 3-4 years couldnt be happier they always have what we are looking for, their prices are in my opinion very cheap, keep an eye on their annual factory price sells, you cant beat those, will definitely keep on shopping there for many years more. Walked into the store on 11/16 to browse their inventory and say hi to the staff. I ended up making a spontaneous but great purchase. I shared with the team that I wanted to improve the audio quality for live streams that I record, and Tony was able to direct me to a Roland device that works great for the need that I presented. Once again, great staff and satisfied customer.

The Best DJ store! They have everything you need for affordable prices. They are really kind and are excited to help with anything you need. They provide you with everything you need when doing a purchase or renting equipment. The have a huge variety of equipment of all kinds. Its a 2 hour drive from my house but its definitely worth it! If I could give them zero stars I would. I had been looking for a RGB laser for my friend for a while and had settled on AVMAXX as the vendor seeing as they had what I needed, are a local shop and I like supporting local businesses. I placed an order online with them and got the confirmation email. A few days later I got an email from them saying my order is on hold and to contact them. I ended up calling their toll free number twice and each time I got a voicemail message. So I wrote a ticket inside their my account portal. I assumed this was due to an error with my credit card or the fraud alert my credit card showed for the transaction (which I approved). A short time after submitting the ticket they responded back say please call our land line and provided a phone number. Long behold when I called the phone number a lady picked up identifying herself as the assistant us district attorney. I was in shock! What horrible customer service! To do something like this and treat people like this! Especially to behave like this before the holiday season! Did they think it was funny? Regardless they lost my business.

I wouldnt give this pathetic company half a star. I ordered a 8ft truss from them. Called to ensure it will arrive on time.they were very promising but two days later I get an email saying my money has been refunded. I called and was told that the shipping company they used lost my package. I have called them b4 and was either on long hold or they didnt have an idea what Im talking about. Wont be buying from these idiots anymore.

A friend referred me to AVMaxx. I was very pleased with the service that was provided, my son(15) had a DJ gig. We only needed speakers, they came and set them up and made sure everything was a GO before leaving. He has another one coming up in May and I will definitely be giving them a call.

Very down to earth, but knowledgeable about dj equipment. Recently I shopped around on where to rent speakers for a block party. I went to Midwest Audio. Great service, great equipment, but their prices seemed steep. Especially the $1500 hold they put on your credit card. I passed by Expert audio and they set me up with speakers, stands and laser lights for under $120. No deposit. Block party was a success!!!

Cancelled an online order 2 weeks ago and still havent gotten a refund back on the product. Thankfully I used my AMEX, so they will be in contact with them and I can rest easy knowing these frauds arent getting their money.

Not recommended, at all. False advertising of item listed on website and manager Leo was unprofessional in addressing and handling the problem efficiently. He refused to send me a prepaid shipping label to return the incorrect item that was sent to me.Purchased two pinspots for mirror ball use: AVMAXX advertised on website as LED and both pinspots are clearly not LED, at all. Emailed for request for return: AVMAXX did not offer to pay for return shipping due to their own advertising error. Called to speak with manager, and was given Leo to speak with. I requested to him to have him send me a pre-paid shipping label emailed to me since they made the mistake, and he refused to acknowledge me a prepaid label. He kept insisting that I must pay for the shipping since Paypal handled the transaction. Paypal has nothing to do with their error they made. AVMAXX should admit they were wrong and make proper amends, of which they are refusing to do 100%. It is not my error in the purchasing transaction, it is AVMAXX in false advertising. Leo was continually unprofessional in how he addressed the issue poorly with me on the phone, and he refused to even apologize for the problem and the error made.Furthermore, once I notified them of the error, they had since quickly changed the website advertising description. I had already taken a image photo of that incorrect website description, as shown on the attached. I will never do business with AVMAXX again, nor do I recommend them. The company and the manager Leo is unprofessional, unfair to the consumer and dishonest.

I was at a DJ gig and found myself without the specific D.A.S. power cables for my PA system. I called my guys at AVMaxx and not only did they answer the phone 45 mins AFTER they were closed, they sold me the power cables and DELIVERED them to me. My gig was SAVED and I cant thank them enough for their service. These guys are the best and have a life-long customer.

Ive been trying to call for over 20min. Each time i get a long hold time then they pick up the call and hang it up right after, ended up driving there and found a small inventory and that they dont carry anything in stoc... ended up buying an overpriced numark controller and waited for the shipping.dont waste your time or money with these guys

This company stole our deposit. We returned our equipment in on time, in perfect condition and yet they refuse to give us our money back and have ignored our calls and emails. Seriously, do not do business with these people unless you want to be ripped off.

Great shop for all your DJ and audio needs

I would like to THANK everyone in this store. I recently had a DJ emergancy where I had to do an event for 500 people and for some reason I had forgotten my power supply, It was a disaster and I was losing my mind. Luckily Joe was still at the shop and was willing to not only have the part for rental but was able to deliver the part to my location. I swear is things like these that make this store amazing and no wonder they keep getting recognized for there hard work and passion. Shoutout to the entire crew at AVMAXX and the Manager Bob for making me feel like home everytime I walk inside.

This place is the worst! I have my own DJ company and order equipment online often. They were unprofessional, unresponsive and gave me the runaround about a product that I paid for, but that they ultimately didnt have. Very disappointed!

This is the worst retailer. I will never do business with them EVER AGAIN. I ordered some items and I canceled within 4 hours AND I never GOT a refund and this is day 7 ( not including weekends) or it will be 9 days.
