This makes No sense ! I spent $48,000 on a Stereo system at Magnolia. It took a few weeks to finally get small items like speaker wire. When the system was finally hooked up we found a blown speaker (B&W 803) and figured out the preamp was defective(Mkintosh). After 4 months of being strung along that they’ll pick up and exchange the equipment now they won’t return calls and tell me to communicate through email only. These guys are the worst !! They only care about getting commission. Do not shop here Ever ! Go to ABT for better prices and way more importantly service people that care and are accountable ! Best Buy corporate basically ignored me as well and now I have to take them to court over a Stereo !!! Pete Bruce Chicago

Very poor sales experience and unresponsive customer service communication from Magnolia team and store managers for a transactional deal. Would not recommend if you are looking for expertise, transparency and a consultative experience.

Just absolutely thrilled with the purchase of my new OLED65B6P-U. Dave and Eric were excellent in helping make a choice, and were patient with me as I had quite a time coming to a conclusion on which TV to purchase. Ill be doing more business in the future. The picture is nothing short of stunning.

Horrible! Over-priced, terrible customer service, not what you expect from a boutique storeDo not buy at Magnolia TV, the boutique store at The Best Buy on Elston.Approximately 3 weeks ago we were running errands, we decided to buy a sound bar that we needed for an outdoor TV so we stopped by Magnolia TV.Horrible! highly incompetent and deceiving on top of it, terrible customer service, not necessarily what you expect from a boutique store.As any boutique store they are over-priced, but you pay for the service and knowledge, in this case they fail on both so they are only an overpriced store.They are incompetent & deceiving. DO NOT BUY there.We had bought with their competitors in the past, ABT who I now, can attest that are by far better at everything. They are a real boutique store.This time we decided to go with Magnolia since were at the store already and I wanted to give them the opportunity. Our main sales representative at ABT was no longer with them and this store is closer. Wrong decision.We could have also ordered the sound bar for the same price directly with provider as we did with the TV since they had overpriced 5x, but again, we wanted to give them the opportunity to earn our business and, since we were already at the store, I convinced my husband to order the sound bar, the sales person was very amicable conveyed to us that the sound bar would be at the store within a week, they actually overpromised.It has been 3 weeks and it has not arrived, we have received the run-around, I had been calling them to find the status of the order.They are a boutique store. They are supposed to call the client and keep the client informed, in fact, he had promised that, I was more than patient.I had been calling him since last week, He promised me the product was going to be delivered Tuesday or Wednesday of last week, it was not delivered at the store that day. He used Labor Day as an excuse. We needed the sound bar for Labor Day. I called this week, he said it was already shipped and was not going to be delivered until Wednesday. I called Wednesday, a bit annoyed he lied to me and said UPS was not going to deliver it but until Friday because it was out his hands. I asked for the tracking number and he said he couldn’t provide the info. He was deceiving which is what makes me angry.Finally, the only person who was honest in the entire store told us it would be delivered until the 14th maybe later since it was a special order.Obviously, we are not their bigger clients, I am glad, we had never consulted with them and given them the outdoor project.To integrity, is an important value. That is how you gain a client. You provide excellent service. If you make a mistake you apologize and follow through. I would never buy with them. I had to cancel my order.Save yourselves a headache, they are incompetent and some of them, even plain rude.Go to ABT if you are looking for customer service and knowledge.Last night, I spoke with a very rude customer service representative. Today, i did receive an apology and a full refund from one of them but he was passive aggressive, he passively corrected me. since English is not my first language and when I am frustrated. I cannot communicate my self as I do in my native language.They are supposed to be a boutique elite store within Best Buy, they are notHorrible

The level of incompetence at this store is unreal. If youre thinking about using them, DO NOT! Use Chicago sound works or ABT instead. My first experience with these guys was a couple years ago, to install an outdoor TV and sonos system. It was like pulling teeth to get them to complete the job, in the end they recommended a $4,000 TV that stopped working within 6 months, and they charged me for items they never delivered/installed. Last week I decided to give them another chance while at Best Buy looking for an in wall iPad mount/power supply. I ordered 3 products, one was the wrong color, one was 400% over priced for what I actually needed, and the third did not meet the specs I had given. The salesman just plain didnt know what he was talking about, and misrepresented the product. Had to return all of them. Just save yourself $$$ and headache and dont go here.

The sales people in the design center are condescending; and furthermore use deceptive sales methods. Im not your average AV consumer; I read technical publications and enjoy staying current. I have a highend room of components myself; the salesmen today was so focused on his fan boy crush on a certian brand he did not not the rest of the segment well enough to answer my queations. This for a design center is unacceptable!! I listened to hime sell products to another that were based on flatout wrong information. When you go in there buyer be ware!!! Do your own due diligence!
