I have rented canon 24 70 lens bunch of times from here.Amazing rental service, staff is vrry friendly.Couple of times I even ask for their suggestions and they help me out.definitely recommend, try them out.Their website have other photograpghy stuff mentioned thats also for rent.Their weekend rate is just amazing and fit my rental needs.

ProGear Rental is the only place in Chicago that really goes the extra mile in making sure you have everything you need for your photo shoot. Ive known Steve and Peter for over 15 yrs when they were managing Calumet Photo, and I have to say their passion and expertise gets better every year. They treat amateurs as well as professional photographers with the same respect and care. I know because I am an amateur photographer. The whole team is great! This is the best way to try out gear before you buy and of course save yourself a lot of money on those lenses that you would only use a few times a year. Call ahead and your gear will be waiting for you. The parking is a little sparse but doable. I have rented from others and it felt as though I was filling out a mortgage application, and on return an interrogation process. Not so with ProGear, just return the gear as it was given to you and charge up everything and you are good to go. As a side note, their photography advice is worth the trip. Highly recommend!!!

This place is awesome. When I was working 9-5 my company used them for light rentals and support gear. Its been 4 years or so since then and I have never looked back! Their team is not pretentious and really helps you get everything you need. It can be a challenge to talk to support staff when youre not totally savvy with the name of a certain piece of equipment, or dont exactly know what youre looking for yet. ProGear makes it easy! Highly recommend.

Rented a Nikon 24-70 from these guys. These guys were great the staff is friendly and dont have that stuck up attitude. The lens was spotless and in perfect condition. Will definitely rent from them again! The weekend rates are really low, mine was 30$ are you kidding me! Go rent from these guys asap.

The team at ProGear has always been helpful and knowledgeable. I started using them because they have almost every color and size of seamless paper in stock. More recently, I rented Sony video cameras and some still photography equipment.The location is a bit odd and industrial. The prices are fair. I wish they were open for a few hours on weekends.

Best professional photo gear rental in Chicago.Over the past 7 years of assisting, Progear has always been attentive and on point. And with the 15+ photographers Ive worked with from out of town, I always recommend Progear first.They know what theyre talking about, theyre respectable, and they want to help you.And one thing these guys do that others wont...if there ever does happen to be a mistake with your order (which is extremely rare) they will send out someone to get you what you need.
