Max is the technician that came to provide the service. Max has been extremely professional and personable from the first min of his service. At his arrival he confirmed that he is vaccinated (without me asking) and voluntarily asked if we would prefer for him to be wearing a mask!He explained exactly what he will be doing with my unit, he explained in details (with pictures) what he has observed in his check. Marco was very professional and friendly. He explained what he was going to do and about how long it would take. Overall he was very informative, and he went over ordering and changing the humidifier filter. He also changes the furnace filter. He did an annual inspection of the furnace and made recommendations for a water detector and a surge protector. Marco was on time and was here for the amount of time he stated. He recapped everything that was done and asked if I had any questions. Great service!

** Please note that this is not a review for Deljo, but one of their technicians, Eric Frost I am writing a separate review for ALL of the problems that I have had with Deljo with regard to diagnosing a problem with my HVAC and the resulting A/C intallation.Eric Frost, Deljo technician, was called by Deljos emergency call service after the company installed a new air conditioning unit at my residence that failed to correct the problem that I was having with my unit. Needless to say, I was extremely upset and looking for someone to resolve my problem. Enter Eric, my hero! He called me immediately after receiving a page from the call service regarding my problem. He apologized for all of the problems that I was having and promised that I would be his next stop as soon as he had finished the job he was currently working on which he estimated would be about 2 hours. True to his word, he called about 2 hours later to tell me that he was on his way and would be arriving within 30 - 40 minutes. He arrived just as communicated at 5:00 p.m. He was polite, professional and promised me that he would not leave my home until the problem was idenitifed and, if possible, resolved.Following proper protocols, he was masked, wore shoe protectors and was extremely neat/organized/considerate. He asked me to take him to my utility room where the HVAC unit was housed and to describe the issue that I had been having for the past 10 days, even after Deljo had installed a new a/c to correct the problem. He turned the unit on and immediately heard the high pitched squealing sound that I had been describing, inspected the newly installed a/c unit to view the poor installation that had been done by the Deljo installation team, and inspected the damage that they had caused both on my neighbors patio with their extension ladder, as well as in my home. From there, he got to work.Eric fully inspected every single inch of my unit from top to bottom testing all connections, wires, pipes, mechanical components, etc. After dismantling the unit in whole, he found the problem - the HVAC motor lubricant seal had somehow become unsealed and was leaking lubricant needed for the unit to run effectively/efficiently and without squealing.Note: When I originally called Deljo for service and they sent the original technician to diagnose the problem, I told that technician that I believed it was an issue with the motor and/or fan bearing. He visually inspected the unit and ran it, but never dismantled it to determine the true cause of the problem. Rather, he recommened that I get a new a/c to correct the problem even though the a/c was running and all diagnostics showed it was blowing the correcty level of cool air. That service call cost $425 and the new a/c cost $6,518. Neither corrrected the problem!!Eric then showed me the problem and communicated that a new motor was needed to correct the problem. As he had been nothing but professional and honest, I believed him and agreed to have him install a new motor. PROBLEM FIXED - NO MORE SCREECHING!! He also recaulked a pipe and sealed the unit where it was leaking cool air from the metal cabinet that the install crew failed to do. Lastly, he installed new batteries in my thermostat because the ones in it were getting low. In total, Eric was here for 4.5 hours and did not leave my property until the problem was corrected, poor work by the install crew was corrected, everything was left as clean as when he arrived and I was happy with the work that had been done.Eric Frost is truly a gifted technician! In addition, he is professional, polite, knowledgeable, neat, clean, conisderate and a good commuicator. I am not sure if I will ever use Deljo again due my overall poor experience with all of the other facets, but I would not hesitate to call on Erik again if I had a problem with my HVAC system. If you do need service from Deljo, I would not trust anyone but Erik Frost to do the work, so definitely ask for him by name. You will not regret it.

Weve used Deljo H&C for quite some time and recently had a few issues with a circuit board on our AC unit. They were timely, responsive, great to work with - can text/email/chat live and the techs were all extremely processional and knowledgeable and very helpful during the three day process (had to come three straight days). Id highly recommend, theyve also got a great Gold Star Maintenance service thats really helpful as well!! Thanks Deljo family!!!

Scheduling the appointment was very easy and prompt. The technician communicated well prior to arrival. He came early in the allotted time window. Alberto was very thorough. He explained the situation on all of our units and took his time to assemble recommendations both verbally and in written form.. He gave three options for each issue, which was very helpful. Max did a great job with my helping out with an issue with my AC unit. I was having trouble cooling down the second and third floors of my townhome. He arrived on time, checked all the vents in the house, and diagnosed the problem. Max walked through the duct work with me, including how to take it on and off, went through and labeled the vents properly- which were not done before, showed me how to control the thermostat, and he went through how to optimize my unit to be best for my needs. There was a broken part that the prior owners did not fix but just taped together which needed to be fixed. He found the part and fixed it for me today, so he would not have to come back a second time. Max was professional and knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. 5/5 would recommend Max.

Beware of this service. They came out to do an AC checkup on several units in my building. They charged for the service and spent time checking everything. They gave each owner a written report of the maintenance needed. These estimates ranged from $300-$1500. In nearly every case they recommended buying a whole new system. We had our commercial vendor check behind them and the information Deljo provided was inaccurate. Parts they claimed needed to be replaced did not need to be. They gave an estimate for a new system that was 50% higher than a different residential service and even higher than that from our commercial vendor. We compared them for service costs, reliability, honesty and replacement costs against three other suppliers and they failed on all fronts.

Called for service on our air conditioning and was able to get someone to come out the same day! Was very pleased about the quick response.

Matthew from Deljo was absolutely wonderful and a total hero. We woke up to a leak in our ceiling and wall and our plumber identified the problem as a leak from the AC unit on the roof. We called Deljo immediately and Matthew was here within an hour or two and diagnosed the problem, was extremely transparent in terms of what must be fixed and what was just a suggested additional improvement that wasn’t required to solve the problem. He had the whole thing fixed same day and was beyond professional and just a pleasure to work with! We will being using Deljo and Matthew for all of our AC/heater/humidifier/water heater service and maintenance moving forward. I just wish I had know about them earlier as I know they would have caught this AC problem had we already been using them for maintenance.

I was really hoping that given the 5 star rating and 1,000 reviews, that Deljo would finally fix the issue with a damaged coolant line.At my initial visit, Tyler came out to assess my HVAC and put together an invoice estimate for the repair step by step. I scheduled my next visit which was the isolation test to find the leak. After an entire day of testing, I was informed that the leak was for sure in the coolant line and that they would need access to the units above me in order to repair the leak.Today, I get a call from Michael, informing me that they dont feel comfortable repairing the leak and potentially having to cut through drywall (even though the lines are exposed and not behind walls) even though the property management and other tenants all agreed to allow access. Michael then goes on to inform me that the only solution would be to place a brand new coolant line on the exterior of the historic building that I live in. Not an option obviously.I feel like my time and money has been wasted working with Deljo since they knew from DAY 1 what the situation was and even put together a plan/invoice to fix it and then decide to back out after I give them $800 bucks to tell me what I already knew. Pretty frustrating.My technician Tyler was very informative and detailed and I had absolutely no issue with his work. Its unfortunate that he has to work for an unprofessional company.

Mark (installer) really knows the equipment and I trust his work. He installed a new boiler and ac unit for us. He is fantastic! And very respectful of the property. He does great work!

We have been pleased with DelJo...particularly Alberto, who does our two inspections per year--one before cooling season, one before heating season. Their technician doing annual maintenance as part of our agreement was not experienced, over filled our unit with refrigerant so it would only blow hot air. After sending 2 other and different techs on subsequent weeks, the issue was not solved. Even though the y acknowledged the error by the first tech, they refused to refund the $500 charge for the refrigerant, even after they recovered the excess and the unit still didnt work .We hired one of their competitors and the difference in quality was immediately apparent. Overall we spent $1500 to correct an issue they admitted they created.

Deljo was fantastic. I called them for help with an existing radiant floor heating system. Unfortunately the unit that I own was not a brand that they service, which I appreciated them being upfront about, but where Deljo really shined was in the follow through. Although they couldnt help me directly, their team went out of there way to help me diagnose the problem and refer another contractor. Their level of customer service is truly something special and one the I appreciate. My contact at Deljo was Alberto and he was OUTSTANDING. He was very professional and a fantastic communicator throughout the whole process.

The technician was thorough in the annual inspection of our air conditioner, which we also purchased from and had installed by Deljo four years ago. The technician was very mindful of COVID protocols and wore a mask, used coverings over his shoes while inside the house and social distanced appropriately. He explained what he did and went over the specifics of what he found. In all, it was a very pleasant experience and very good service.

Over the years Deljo has done just about everything for our HVAC system. Since they were bought by Carrier their approach has become more corporate and less personal. The use of investment rather than charge on invoices and calling the sales person a comfort consultant are a bit precious. However, the service quality is good.

Updated review -Deljo has been great. Technician Alberto first came out to diagnose the problem with the AC. He was very professional, polite and considerate. He explained everything well, he was patient with all my questions, made good recommendations, and gave us a number of options to move forward. Ultimately we decided a full system replacement was the best way forward since the AC was 36 years old and the furnace was over 20 years old. Confort consultant Tim came out to lay out our options for a full system replacement. The prices were a little higher than we expected, but we knew Deljo wouldnt be the cheapest and given their reviews and reputation contracted them to replace the full system. David and Kevin (assisted by Dave to get the equipment up to the roof) installed the new system. They were professional and courteous. It took them all day to perform the work, but they were unintrusive. Before they left, they explained what they replaced and how it worked. I recommend Deljo for your HVAC needs.

I used Deljo for for new installation & HVAC system as well as the yearly maintenance..when first installed, the owner of the company came out to inspect the system and make sure everything was done properly and since then the the system has worked perfectly-I have not had one issue…the maintenance men that have come to check & maintain the system have been on time, knowledgeable & friendly..also people in the office are always available & responsive. I have been very happy with my choice of using and trusting Deljo for all things w HVAC system!

I did not like the fact that they charge for the service call however, especially when they’re going to do the job. They came out to look at my water heater that wasn’t working properly within a few hours of calling. After an evaluation they determined it was needing to be replaced. They were installing a new water heater by 8am the next morning and did a very professional install with new copper piping, etc. We had to remove our washer and dryer from the room in order for them to get access and they even moved everything back and connected the washer and dryer after they finished the water heater install. Very professional and quick to respond. Highly recommend!

I had Dave Papillion for a service call at my home yesterday. The service call was scheduled very quickly and Dave showed up right on time. Deljo called ahead to let me know his exact ETA. The unit needed some adjustment and refabrication of duct work. Dave had expertise in all installation and repair facets of the HVAC unit. He was professional and extremely competent. I’d recommend Deljo to everyone based on Dave’s excellent work.

This is not a reputable and honest company. I had my condo AC unit checked and evaluated along with other owners in my condo building. The estimates that we were given by Deljo ranged from $300 to $1,500. In each owners checkup estimate we were all recommended to buy whole new systems. After these estimates were done our condominium commercial vendor did their own follow-up evaluations and the owners were told the estimates Deljo gave us were inaccurate. For example, on my estimate I was told I needed to replace my AC contactor when our commercial vendor reviewed it he took a pic which showed evidence it didnt require replacing and it that the contactor had never been tested by Deljo . I would not rely on this company for professionalism and truth.

Deljo installed our HVAC system during a full-house renovation in 2009, so we called them last week when we turned on the A/C for the summer season, and found that neither of our A/C units was effectively cooling. The Deljo service tech was prompt, professional and capable. He checked our system and determined that refrigerant pressure was insufficient. He offered us options of a refill plus stop-leak, or purchasing a new system. Given the costs of a repair and the poor chances of longterm success, we asked to speak with a Deljo sales rep re costs of a replacement system. He arrived a day later, and was equally prompt, professional and capable. We have always found the Deljo personnel to be of the highest quality, personally and professionally.

Matthew was very thorough and took his time. Answered all our questions and was super patient with demos.

I have been a Deljo member for a while. Yesterday I had a new HVAC, air purification and humidifier installed. I thankfully was not in an emergency situation to replace, but I knew it would be smart to do the replacement now. Brandon made great recommendations and gave me options that made it easy to decide. And I can’t say enough about the installation team. Steve and Barton did a great job. They were knowledgeable, professional, clean and efficient with their time. It was the smoothest process I could have hoped for. And the system is great. I can barely hear it running and the difference in air temp is noticeable. I thank the whole Deljo team, from my maintenance technician to Brandon and of course Steve and Barton, for their continued high quality of service and customer care. Thank you!!

Had a 20 year old furnace replaced recently. David and Bart did an outstanding job of reconfiguring the room. Old furnace was awkward to service and even changing the filter was a pain. They took all day to do an impeccable install as if they were doing it in their own home. Courteous, professional, left the place clean. Top notch.

I used them in 2015 for air conditioning repair and they were on time and the work was great. Now our furnace finally went out and they were able to be here in a few hours and replaced it the next day. Everyone who came to the house followed Covid protocol, was nice and professional. Tim gets added points for using his laser pointer measuring device to entertain our 3 cats! I hope I won’t need their services for awhile but when I do this is who I will call.

Jordan came out on 6/24/21 to diagnose an issue with our line set that was damaged by contractors. Jordan was prompt, professional, and found the breached line within twenty minutes. This was after I had another large HVAC contractor out to diagnose the problem without any solution or conclusion and total waste of $. Jordan and Deljo provided me with clear next steps and multiple solutions to address the breached lineset on a R22 system.

Marcos was great and was very detailed. We will definitely use him again.
