Had one of their drivers drive up our lawn and tore up all the grass. Tried to speak with the driver but he didnt care and ignored us and said we could do whatever we wanted. And this wasnt even a delivery for our business, it was for a neighbor. Now I need to pay my lawn care company to come fix this.
Great place to work. They care for their drivers and office employees.
To the driver pulling trl 43449 on i44 at aprox 0115 on 9/1121,when the speed limit is 70mph and you were doing 77 and cant control your truck and trl and put another truck on the shoulder not SAFE at all. I was in the Holland Ent truck.
I was offered a great rate going into orientation and was happy to go move freight for these people, but upon arriving to orientation. It was like 100 people in Orientation. Yes, they bring in hundreds of people with no intention of hiring any of them. The so called recruiter pretended like they were offering me a job when I was on the phone with the lady, but they only want trainees. The hotel they have is well known for having bed bugs and they only pay trainees 400 dollars a week for over hundred hours of work. Working for them when I was there previously was like slavery.
Great company so far cant wait to start trucking tomorrow 70cpm w hazmat and only a yr driving experience
Please believe the reviews. This was the most horrible trucking experience Ive ever had. And dont forget your med card on your way out! Once they get you there and reject you the only thing they say is Im sorry . They had 2 weeks to run my reports and was told on numerous occasions that everything was good and then once we were there.... with everything, was told something didnt check out and disqualified me. If you do go please please have a backup plan
I love this Company, because they are Christian based. Also, because they are fair and helpful; & they pay well.
Do Not Waste Your Time !!! quality of this company not what i expected. Recruiters will lie to you and only care to get keep their classes full of students. The Lady name is (Fallon Clark), she kept calling me to hire me, i asked her plenty of times if all my background came back she said yes “im good to go” i drove way out of FL to TN and once i got there & did all the paperwork and also driving test & “Passed “ everything. then my teacher Ms.Wendy that will tell you she dont have “nothing to with anything” said that safety ran my bckgrnd and say im not qualified. now at this point you cant go to the main terminal around corner (they will not let you in to speak with anybody), the hotel they put you in has roaches. & at this point they try to extort you out of property with an officer like you wasn’t supposed to be on their property to begin with.& im not the only driver that was sent home. seem like a regular thing they do.
This is the BEST LOGISTICS COMPANY that I have EVER DEALT WITH....., Full disclosure, my wife is an employee, there..... But theyre still 5 stars!
If you dont have a brain, this company is for you. If you do have a brain, get your experience and move on to something better.
Moved through orientation FAST. Found me a mentor/trainer just as fast. I was blown away by how quick things were moving along. Im with my mentor/trainer now. Awesome guy so far and excited to learn from him.
Covenant is discriminating against their owner operators on their estes account. Company trucks are pre planed in advance and the O/Os get whats left over that add up to day cab runs and we got the proof now. Thats DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY STINKS and other words I cant post.
They have dedicated runs or OTR or Team but the pay is still not quite addiquate!
Covenat the best company to have a Trucker carrier
Good people and a great place to workI can recommend this company to anyone looking for a stable company to work for and the pay is good also!!
Both trainers I have had are rude, ignorant, male chauvinist with no patience and have no business training anyone. It’s frustrating because I tried emailing and calling the training coordinator and got no answer or return anything. I’m trying my hardest to keep it together now just to get through my drive training. Would not recommend.
I would need to contact with the carrier compliance dep if there is one. If someone know the contact number or email plz let me know!I book a CA-GA load. Broker didnt comfirmed any del time and del # before dispatch asked ont he del date. It caused 5-6 unloading hours and broker refused to pay detention.
I would give them five stars if they had a better team matching system and if they had more accountability on dispatchers who are worthless (team 7). The miles are there if you want to run them the pay is there for you to receive every mile you run as long as you have a dispatcher who does their job if youre on team 7 thats rare that they did their job if youre on team 20 you know your pay is going to be right every single week and your trucks going to be moving. I would probably go back one day but I would have to have my teammate co-driver with me at rehire I would not want to let them match me up again.
I LOVE Covenant Transport/Logistics!! I am a Covenant driver. I work for the best trucking company EVER!!
No complaints and little to no problems so far great company with a supportive team here for you 24/7 365 days a year the atmosphere is like an old folks home your every need is tended to if you are willing to cooperate with your help
Will lie to save their own hide from being sued
First and last loadI book a load receiver let us held, I’m trying to reach broker trying to call end up with zero Response
Worst brokerage firm ever. 0 logical thinking! They’re dedicated in making shady business. Wont pay!! Stay away unless you like working for free. How are they still in business?
Great people who make the workday a pleasure.
Very polite helped me out when I had a flatt on the side of the road
This is a great company, but Dispatch has no accountability, I’m sure they are trained to understand that drivers have a greater responsibility other than just pulling loads and that is the safety of the motor Republic; I am constantly facing forced dispatch, there are very few companies out there who is dispatchers have driving experience
Great place to start career alot of knowledge and experience given here.
I drove for Covenant Transport for almost 3yrs. Until unfortunately, I was let go for having a jackknife accident. I have been with various other companies since then. But, to this very day Covenant Transport is still the best company I have ever been with. I still feel proud whenever I see a Covenant Transport truck. Theyre a great company to drive for. And good people to work with.
Landon Taylor was my recruiter. He promised me a solo route with no need to carry hazmat endorsement. He lied!!! Well I was forced to run teams. My first co-driver almost killed us. Took a 45 mile an hour curve at 65 mph with the cruise control on. Threw me out of the bunk. Then my second co-driver assaulted me while he was driving the truck. Most trucking companies just want a body in the seat. Please be cautious and get everything in writing. I left there with only 2 months with covenant. They want you to talk with someone fir a few minutes in a lobby and see if you can live with that person 24/7 I would love to pick they’re next wife out for them lol that will show them some patience 😉 I went back to a trucking company that respects drivers and listens to them. I told my driver manager all these issues and more. All he said was okay thanks. Nothing never went any further. Good luck with this company.
Great staff and Mechanicsburg are 5 star! Thank you guys!
Dont have to take my opinion but I would like to warn my fellow drivers, me and son worked there for one month and didnt like it from the start but decided to give em a try, being we didnt like it because all the good things in this review is false they made the worst job description in history, I also have a lawsuit against them for them not paying the miles we ran before we quit. Do yourself a favor and know they will definitely lie and they are worst than lawyers. Have fun.
The trucks are always ready they have a little fuel in them and everybody is as helpful and friendly as I like
I drive OTR team with them. Excellent company with fantastic people. Been here 2 yrs. My codriver has been driving for a bunch of companies, both local and OTR, team and solo, over a 10yr period and he says Cov is the best by far.
I really couldnt tell how many negative stars Id give if it gave me the opportunity. Drivers go to work for bay and bay instead.
I dont have any reason to bad mouth this company I just have to have more home time so I went home to find the right place for me.
Picked up some trucks the company i work for purchased from there and everyone was polite and as helpful as could be imagined
Still waiting for someone from Safety Compliance to answer my question. Saying they will call back but dont. Sad.
They treat you like a number dispatch is beyond bias and vindictive! And if ever terminated expect to be left stranded in the middle of the country without any form of assistance!! Zero star ! Christian Company My Boot!
I was given a five days contract and after I completed my part of the deal. They refused to pay me for all my work by sending me a rate-con $1000.00 short. After two weeks of emailing back and forth and finally radio silence from them I gave up... I will never ever accept any load from anyone without receiving a rate-con first. I thought Covenant Logistics was a religiously run company. Hmm I guess not.
Place for employees to shower shave and shine. Nice overall atmosphere. Although on site employees are at a loss to where specific departments are? First time so I was lost. People seem friendly.
July 30 2021, 10pm Fri night. Not sure of truck number, but trailer number is 45995. This driver almost ran 4 cars off the road, flashing high beams at everyone. Driving with no marker lights on truck or trailer.
Theres so many great things about this company. The training course is probably the best in the United States. They take their time helping you to make an excellent career.
Unfortunately Im leaving the company, but I dont wanna leave without say that Im going to miss a lot this company and all the people who work here. All of you guys are amazing, very good, professional and helpful people, I really love you all.Team 13 and 16 are the bes, any dispatch on those teams ar exceptional, on my on opinion.Well I guess this is my way to say goodbye, I wish you all many blesses, love, health and money lol. Thanks guys Fidel 1582296.
My experience so far the free rooms that they provide are very run down and it’s just a really bad first impression. Luckily I had a good trainer so that was not a problem. Once we were out on our own communication was kind of bad with our team.sometimes we would wait an hour for a response. Any new drivers just know covenant pay you for your miles by zip code. So for example the zip code of a terminal in Georgia to the zip code of the terminal in utah. So not even the full amount of miles that seems like stealing. They measure the miles by the Randal McNally not any other map too .I’m to the point where I’m making 1,600$ though at least for about 6,000 miles so th St s good and we still have more upgrades to make . So I feel the money is good enough but the idea of not getting paid exactly or not even being told that upfront doesn’t sit right -.- they do have a gym in the terminal but only the times you’ll go is at the beginning and anytime u have to fix ur truck mostly.
A family, do unto others as you would have them do unto you, cut up laugh take a joke and give one right back, understanding, among other things. I have been here long enough to see people that say terrible things about this company come back time and time again. Everyone has misunderstandings work it out dont quit. I looked at several companies before working here their is none better. So come be apart of the family of Covenant Transport.
So far, So Good
They will not keep their in word also freeze your assets while on time off in you will have to be reinstated with out any contact in good luck to getting ahold them if is important you have to get ahold of safety to get anything done the nice people are the ones in orientation other than that your on your own qualcomm never works you better learn how read map fast if not your screwed in Im still waiting on information from them I have left messages in still have not received call poor excuse for company they will run you down they could careless bout you if you try to get your rest after your done in back at terminal its just push push make sure you do your background check before you to companys your not sure for best of luck drivers
This company is unprofessional does not take care of there drivers they leave you stranded and has very poor management
Good company so far!!
One of your truckers was blocking the main entrance to my business because he was taking a lunch, when I asked to move his truck away he told me Go f... your self to another place trying to initiate a fight I reported to the police. I dont believe this is what you wanna show what your company is. License plates 2198697 from Indiana.
Picked up a loadout trailer from these guys, really big yard and plenty of them.
Everything I was told aside from them sponsor my hasmat was a lie dont believe the recruiter and stear clear unless you enjoy being stuck at a place that I originally thought I would like but its obviously soured and to be clear Im not fired not yet unless they read this
Excellent place to start your professional driving career!
I heard that it was a great company, but I were unlucky to work with a very unprofessional guy and a big lier, (Brison Strickland ) . I don’t know how he got this position but didn’t deserve it. Be careful guy all he is telling he is just lying 🤥 big liar he didn’t respect small carrier.
Just left Company today after Orientation Covenant will hire you but dont tell you after Orientation no Trucks available. I was told 48 hours or more. Glad I drove my pick up to Covenant they have no idea who they had as a driver been trucking 12 yrs no accidents no tickets. Very unstructured company. First impression tells a lot of a company. I was ready to go, but Covenant was not. Drivers please dont be influenced by my response however this was my experience at Covenant what a shame. Company needs a better truck Cordinator. Going to loose the best drivers over waiting days for a Truck!!
Christopher Arp dispatched a load to my driver w/ J&L Yancey Transportation. To date he has been non responsive in our attempts for my driver to be paid for a load he delivered last week on TIME. He is referring us to AP Solutions and they are transferring us back to him in which he his hanging up each time we call to inquire on the status of payment. We take pride in timely deliveries, its COVID the distributors need their supplies to keep their companies afloat with the demands in which they are experiencing. My driver is a essential worker and manually unloaded this truck at three different stops. Christopher Arp has received his pay for a load that was delivered timely by MY DRIVER yet WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED COMPENSATION TO DATE AND KEEP GETTING THE RUN AROUND, to date! Contact with him has been attempted numerous time since last week, no responsive from him other than a text to MY driver this am stating Whats up. He is extremely unprofessional and does not have the wherewithall to be dispatching loads and is a liar. We would like our pay for the load that was delivered last week to Dollar General load number 4814918.
Our friend have completed a load 25 days ago, once it was completed he has made all the paper work and requested the revised RC for 2 days layover at the receiver. NO RESPONSE! NO EXPLANATIONS!WORST BROKER!
I worked for Southern Refrigerated Transport, it was bought out by Covenant. I loved my job and I was very good at it. When Covenant started integrating our company, they fired most of us for whatever reason they could come up with. They called me to the yard under the guise of putting the new company stickers on my truck. Out of nowhere they fired me. Everything else is he said she said. But I am a vet, and unfortunately I live in my truck and I am very thankful for that!!! No friends good enough to take me in, no family that doesnt have their own enormous problems (not to mention the extra room). I have NOWHERE to go. So covenant just made another homeless vet. The funny thing was, there was no one to talk to. Not one person that had any power to help. The guy that called me barely got through the firing speech. I was polite and respectful, just like I was taught by my mother and the military. So take it as you will.... but it speaks volumes that during times like these and the super Christian leader of Covenant Transport has no problem dropping a vet off in the woods without even a tent to sleep in. Good luck to the rest of you.... but you should pay attention to reviews for we are the true image of a company.
I found myself behind one of your trucks at a red light on Hwy 25 in South Carolina. On the back I read ‘It is not a choice. It is a child.’ I smiled. Then I noticed the name of your company Covenant. My smile grew. At the next red light I was beside your truck and saw your logo. I yelled Amen! Thank you!
I typically come here when my sister docks her rig, and has a couple of days to herself, non the less this Campos, kind of sorta, Covenant Transport Servise, takes care of its own, and affords many amenities for them as well . Good company ! It makes me wish, I was old enough to drive an 18 wheeler !
Poor management ever, not wheeling to work with you at all. Super slow to get a trailer from them, took 1h to wait for an escort and get the actual trailer for 10min. Super unorganized. On top of it driver was supposed to check in by 4pm in order to get the trailer. We called several times their manager and he didnt want to work with us an wait. Even tho our client made arrangements to wait for driver til 4:30pm he still rejected upon arrival at 4:03pm... Honesty avoid this place if you can. I dont understand why people are being like that. Doesnt want to wait 10min but waste someones time, literally 14h wasted...
Love this place.
How do you all waste so much money bringing one to orientation? I made every attempt to be sure I wouldn’t be DQ. Asked all the right questions. Drove 956 miles. Waited a day and a half all to be told “oh your recruiter should have contacted you.” I had even attempted to call her en route, message and all went unanswered. Complete waste of time, lack of morals, and work ethics. Strongly urge to avoid at all cost. Furthermore, it seems like this whole process was done on purpose, as I wasn’t the only DQ. Only pro was they got me 956 miles closer to home! For FREE. Roll on Drivers! Feel bad for all the rookie drivers who were turned away. Not really having experience, then having to get a bus ticket back home!
Did my training with them ( 4 weeks ) after training did my upgrade on the famous hill on a weekend ( didn’t not get my upgrade diploma or any direction cause it was a Saturday ) once finished my upgrade i had to figure out on my own to go to what they call outbound to get my home time. Once home in them 5 days i try to communicate with them tru e-mails and Covenant app to know and understand who my fleet manager was or what team i was supposed to be on, nobody ever reply in more than 3 attempts so i dicide to call my trainer for help on what to do ( nobody reply to him ither ) kept trying for the next 7 days till finally i got in contact with one of them and they didn’t knew who i was by name and not even tru my ID number. After that call I realize I didn’t wanted to work for a Company that after going tru the Orientation and Training process have no idea who you are by name or ID number wich they provided. To me as a person thats very important !!!!!
Angie Rollins is a very nice and genuine person👍💯⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Going to miss this place it was great for me at the time. But I must move on so I can see my family every weekend.
This is a great company and it kinda hard to find if that if u are good to them they are even better to you. Am Maurice and I have work for them for about a year and man they are some great friends face to face. Never scared to sit down and talk to figure things out thx u guy so much for u have change my life
Great Company to work for
Book a load with Jacob Yarber. At the delivery he was not have an appotiment even he said that he have one. He never ever answer on his phone even he give me his cellphone. This is few loads in a row that some broker from Covenant lies about the details of the load.
Its been a real headache working for this company.
I would barely give them one star but thats for giving us the opportunity. This company railroaded us as a team. Took us off our dedicated account with our notice and expected us to go OTR. They preach to the drivers about communications, but they are all in the same building and dont communicate with each other. This is a great company to start and get your feet wet in the industry but THATS IT! They treat you like youre dumb or slow and play on your intelligence.
Great starting company to work for .
Be ready to get checked in and out. I got issued a new truck for the wait.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.Go somewhere else. werner is a better option. I have gave Covenant a chance and wasted so much time for nothing. Dont bother with them because you will be disappointed believe me. Wasted 3 weeks in the dirty training center motel. Everyday check with the recruiter and keep telling me still no one to team up wit!!!
Great company for being over the road. Its mmt first over the road company but the Love you get is unconditional. Id vote twice if I could just to give them 10 stars
Came out of retirement to remodel our house. My wife is my right hand because Im left handed. We run hard and dont play around and get our loads in time and deliver early. Been with company a year and a half and have played off 25.000 in credit cards 26.000 in solar panels and a carport w/ cover and 80. 000 in the whole inside of house .With everything new. Thanks to Covenant and all the team players that make it happen. Set a goal and reach it then set another. My next goal is pay the house off . As Dave Ramsey would say I can then yell Im debt FREE ! That goal is two years. Also dont forget your stocks in the company. A COMPANY IS ONLY AS STRONG AS ITS WORKERS. Best advice for young couple. Drive truck for 5 years and live in your truck and save all you can then just walk up and pay cash for that house then make a family . Happy trails.
One of tbe best companys to work for.
I get my fuel there
Beautiful and people are so helpful and friendly
A unique attention all its employees maintain their work standards to perfection, a unique and very professional training.
It is the Blind Leading the Blind, 95 percent of all those working in Chattanooga are clueless as to what to do to assist the DRIVERS, THIER thought process is NOT to service the drivers or the Customer. They have sold thier liability s, they have fired a Senior Vice president, and they turn off your fuel card when you are ENROUTE to home time. All these sign make me to believe that they are trying to appear profitable, to be merged or for Sale to someone else.
My experience has been great everyone I spoke to treats you like family here
Nice people cant wait to get to working for them.
Good place to work, they treated us right
The best terminal. Bathroom very clean. Excelente dispatch. 17 taam is the best.
If you like working for/with snakes, this is the perfect place. Dispatch was not that bright. The too many privilege children working there as dispatch. NO, There is nothing to discuss. Covenant have been in the business long enough to know how to treat people (Drivers). Some advise, stop the revolving door.
Amazing company to work for. They cant be enough said about how they treat there employees and there families. Very caring company!
Great Terminal all the amenities you need. Great hospitality for company drivers from even any level of management down to your dispatchers! You really get the feeling you are appreciated
This is by far the most stressful place I ever work for for I been with this company for 9 months trying get enough experience so I can get something better they lie they have bad communication skills for the pass month I been late on bills I been seeing 200 and 400 dollars checks when you have a family and bills that’s nothing the only thing I was told was we are fighting for a better pay for solo drivers I started off as a team driver and since I been solo I have seen maybe a 100 dollar less then what I seen when I was teaming I wouldn’t recommend this company to know one I been so stressed out this pass month it sad I lost my apartment messing with this company due to not getting enough miles and getting paid little to nothing they dnt care they go home every day if you fresh out of school please go some where else everything might start off well but they will mess you over in the end.. plus they hotel is trash have bed bugs and the cleaning people steal
Horrible Broker, bad customer service. Never answer phone or email. AVOID
