Great time out on the water today with Paul. He is a nice guy and we had some good conversation. Very patient with children and was even cool enough to drive out further to clean the fish so the kids could see a whale. Striped bass was delicious. The best thing about everything was how professional he was; had boat ready to go when we got there.

I took my 10 yr old out with captain Paul and we had a blast! We had some action at the start but he was willing to go the extra mile to bring us to the hot spots when most other boats had turned around. He’s good with kids- and his boat is really perfect for the waters off the cape. Looking forward to another trip next time we visit.

I have fished with Captain Paul out of Chatham many times and have always caught fish. He is great with kids too. I have taken my 3 boys with him and he had us on fish in no time. When you are in Chatham and want to catch fish, use Captain Paul and you will not be disappointed.

Captain Paul was very communicative and helpful. Unfortunately we did not get to charter with him, however it is because he was honest about the forecast for high winds the day of our trip. He let us know in advance and provided options for another trip. He could have easily taken us for several hundred dollars and an unpleasant experience, but he didnt. We appreciate his honesty. Clearly a good bussinessman! Next time were in the Cape we will go with Capt. Paul!

Paul was a great captain he was able to catch multiple fish, which our children enjoyed watching he was very kind and patient with our children, he was able to answer all of their questions and kept them entertained with a little science experiment while filleting our catch of the day. Capn Paul did a great job with the Reagan family in re-acquainting Dad with how to deep sea fish and allowing the two ladies to experience what a real fish feels like on the line. We met at the dock at 630 and we picked up some live bait offshore to support our trip. Paul was instructive and patient and we had a great time keeping cool on the open water and landing a couple of keeper bass for dinner which he cleaned and skinned for us. All told, a great morning and a photo worthy memorable trip. If were back next year, Id think we would like to try for blue fin tuna :). Thanks Paul!

So glad we made the decision to fish with Capt. Paul! A couple days before we had arranged to go out he told us there might some rough water and suggested another day – his suggestion was perfect and our Father’s Day trip was beautiful and sunny. I am a pretty big outdoorsy type of person and love fishing and hunting. I am from upstate New York and planned a trip to Cape Cod with my wife and kids. I have a 6 year old son who also loves being outdoors and loves fishing as well. I asked my son if he would want to go fishing in the ocean on a boat. With an immediate response he excitedly said yes. I searched the web and found a page offering a few different options with price points varying based on hours of trip. I contacted Paul and he was so prompt with a call back. We coordinated everything over the phone and he detailed everything for our day at sea. My son and I arrived to meet Paul and he was extremely polite and sociable. His boat was beautiful and very well kept. Paul explained his process well and had poles ready to go. We were on fish almost immediately. I can not begin to explain how excited my son was to help reel in the fish. Priceless moment that I’m sure my son will never forget. Paul was one of the coolest guy to get to know and was so awesome with my son. We had a lot of action in my opinion for the day and reeled in some really decent size fish. I would highly recommend booking with Paul. Amazing experience. Was looking for an affordable, reliable boat and captain to go tuna fishing with my son the cape when I heard the tuna bite was on and I found Captain Paul and his Regulator Knot Guilty on the web and decided to book a trip. I was not disappointed. We fished with Captain Paul this past Saturday and had a blast. It was pretty foggy, but a calm day and we decided to go for it. It turned out to be a great choice. The captain was very confident in his knowledge of the local waters and his electronics under the conditions and his ability to catch fish. After we picked up some live bait off Ptown, we headed to the bank to try our luck. It was crazy, five minutes after we threw a live mac in we hooked up. My selfish son grabbed the rod and fought the fish for about 25 minutes. We harpooned the fish, tail wrapped him, and brought on the boat a beautiful 60+ inch Bluefin tuna estimated to be about 200 pounds. Because of Captain Pauls knowledge and expertise, we landed what most people would consider the fish of a lifetime. I would recommend a day on the water with Captain Paul to anyone looking for a great time with family or friends and be ready for an exciting day of catching fish, whale watching, and enjoying the beautiful waterways of the Cape. My son and I had a great day with Paul; Im just using my wifes gmail to log in. Paul is the consummate professional, displaying an effortless manner as he kept lines in the water and fish in the boat. The boat is a clean center console Regulator with plenty of room. We struck gold early, with 3 keepers within the first forty-five minutes. By the end of the day we had caught 3 more keepers, 2 an inch under, and assorted little guys. Paul was an easy-going conversationalist, with a lot of knowledge of the Cape and its fishery. He could relate to my 18 year old with kids of his own. We have fished for stripers on Montauk and Nantucket many times, and he is now my Cape Cod guy.

We did a 4 hour trip for Stripers and Blues. We had a great time and landed 10 keepers! Paul took great care of us and cleaned all the fish as well. Highly recommend this charter

Went out with paul and had a great day catching striped bass. Did a 5 hour trip and had 5 keepers in the boat not to long after we started. Went home with 40lbs of delicious striper. Will definitely be doing another trip in the future

What a GREAT morning! Paul was a knowledgable, kind, and patient captain, taking time to ensure we (three generations - all novices) had the best luck possible - and we DID! Two stripers - one keeper, enough to feed 10 people (heartily) and wonderful memories. Well definitely book with Paul again (our 11-year old son, who got a fabulous beginners taste and wants to reel in one of his own -- actually spent the afternoon following our charter fishing from our dock on Walkers Pond - hah!).
