485 Movers did an excellent job helping us moving to our new house last weekend, not only they disassembled and reassembled furniture during the move, but also they helped us purchasing some new furniture at Costco on the way to the new house. Due to the pandemic and recent low interest rate, 2021 has been a challenging year for the buyer in the housing market, but buying new furniture is even more difficult and takes more time than purchasing a new property. With the help of 485 Movers, we were lucky to grab some new furniture right away, instead waiting for 6 to 9 months to get delivered. As I told Alex at the end of the moving, I will call them again if I need to buy more furniture at Costco in the future.

Would recommend this moving company to all friends and family without a second thought. Some of the most helpful and efficient movers Ive ever hired. It is fascinating how quickly these guys move while carrying heavy furniture and boxes, which matters a lot since they charge an hourly rate. When booking the job the woman on the phone suggested that if I pack myself it will take them less time to move me and it will be more affordable. Although I ran out of time and couldnt do much packing, Im glad I didnt waste my time. What would have taken me 2 days of organizing and packing took these guys an hour and a half. Truly, a superb service. One word of advice though, book at least a week or two in advance. They did not have very many options for me for booking on short notice but fortunately were still able to work around their schedule to accommodate me.

485 went way beyond the call of duty when they delivered a grand piano shipped to me cross country. They were extremely professional, communicative, on time and as strong as any human being I have ever witnessed. They problem solved an error the original shipper made without attitude and resolved it quickly. I recommend them wholeheartedly and hope I have the opportunity to work with them again.

They also don’t waste any time and move quickly and carefully so I was able to go about my day in less than two hours after they arrived. Moving with these guys was a breeze. They handled it all from packing to moving to assembling furniture. Very organized and efficient crew, surpassed our expectations. Although due to the current state of things it is not desirable to have an estimator come out, the ballpark estimate based on the size of my houses came out exactly to what was promised. I was also thoroughly impressed with the level of communication I was getting from the front office and the movers. I even got an answer when accidentally calling after hours. You can tell the employees here take their job seriously and care about customer satisfaction. Dont think about it, just book with them!

I needed two heavy bookcases (6 tall x 4 wide) moved from my living room to an upstairs room, 485 sent out two big guys that handled it within 30 minutes. The whole experience, including scheduling was great for us.

A great moving company. We packed our stuff ourselves to save on time, but in retrospect should have hired them to do the packing and moving for us because of how quick and efficient they were. Whatever few items were left to wrap were packaged with great care. They organized everything so that unpacking was a breeze. If we ever need to move again 485 movers will be our one and only choice, and we will let them handle packing and moving from start to finish because we are now sure of their high level of professionalism.

As an owner of a small business, I can always tell if another small business will stick around based on their customer service, value, etc. These guys will be around for a long while as long as they keep doing what theyre doing it. Fantastic moving experience with Sasha and Aldi. The most polite, careful and concerned guys Ive met. I told them it wasnt a big deal if they walk on the carpet in my old house because Im hiring carpet cleaners anyway but they still brushed the bottoms of their shoes off. The guys teamed up with responsive front office made this move feel so personalized. All of the small quirks that were specific to my property were taken in consideration when planning and executing this move. Not to mention the obvious pluses, on time, affordable, careful. Value for price is out of this world, highly recommend!

Great company all around. Friendly front office staff and the estimator that came out was very professional. Our house move was going to be long and complicated but he put my mind at ease. The real stars here are the movers though. Some of the most careful, speedy and friendly people Ive ever had the pleasure of dealing with. They came a few minutes early than scheduled to do a walk around to make a plan of action. Everything was wrapped and packaged very carefully. When moving you expect some small issues here and there, but there actually were no problems at all, everything went smoothly. We couldnt be happier with our move and have been recommending these guys to friends and family ever since.

I highly recommend Sashas crew. This is my second time hiring 485 movers. The first time I got this crew through luck, but the second time I specifically requested them. These guys will not stop until the job is done and you are completely satisfied with how it went. Due to a personal circumstance I had to schedule the move for late in the day and they didnt finish until 11pm. I felt so awful but they reassured me that its not a problem and they will not leave me hanging and will finish the job. Their moving skills deserve a whole another page long review. Its always a pleasure working with these guys and I hope my review earns them a raise, it would be well deserved.

485movers helped me moving on 10/8/2019. The 2-men team was very professional, efficient and with a great attention to my preferences. They found optimal ways to move the furniture out of the house and in the apartment, even though some of the entrances were narrow. No furniture was damaged or scratched during the move. We used 485 Movers, Inc. to move a very large and very heavy teak root room screen. We were told by the furniture company it could not be moved upstairs without damaging our home. Two gentlemen from 485 Moverscame to our home on 9/24/19 and had it upstairs in our bonus room with no issues whatsoever. They were prepared and knew what they were doing. I had to shop around for my recent move and had challenges getting a reasonable quote; 485 movers worked with me to provide a custom and very competitive quote even thou some of my items were in a different storage locations, others needed to be packed, as well as some furniture that needed to be taken apart before the move. Hardworking movers for a fair price. I thought I would have to do some of the packing and moving myself to help stay in budget but ended up not doing anything because the guys moved so fast and were very experienced. I will be hiring them again to move my office.

Very pleased! Our house was getting renovated so we needed to move out temporarily and then move back in. Both moves were handled so well by 485 movers. We were always kept updated about time of arrival, location, etc. Moving is usually a hassle but these guys made it so easy. They were on time, courteous, careful and FAST!

I scheduled 2 men to move a 1 BR apartment for 2 hours with a 10 minute commute. First of all, they were 15 minutes late then it took them 2 hours just to load my items into the truck. They took their time and were not efficient at all, taking 1 box at a time. They did move a little faster after I called the office, but they gave the excuse that the 1 set of stairs they went up were steep (they are normal stairs) and that my boxes were heavy. Upon arrival to my brand new construction townhouse, they used a dolly, but was not very careful with it on my new hardwood floors causing some minor damage. They also used my restroom, which is fine, but they left the toilet seat lid up. I would never use again, unprofessional, unmotivated and careless.

As recent college graduates my roommate and I did not have much money to spend on a move which I made clear from the begging. People in the front office took great care in explaining to me the hourly rate system so I felt confident before committing. They worked very fast and the end total came out right under our budget so I was very pleased. They helped us assemble our desks and beds too.

I cant rave on this company enough. I was worried about moving (especially because I was doing it last minute) and they handled it effortlessly. I even had a piece of furniture that other moving companies had struggled with and had to call in other people to help carry and the two movers that came took care of it no problem. Im not one to leave reviews, but I had to take the time just for Alex. Wow, if you get this girl on the phone you are lucky because you will be getting superior customer service. I called with a million questions and instead of annoyed or rushed responses I was treated with outmost care and respect. She is incredibly knowledgeable and eased my mind for a very large move I have coming up. The part that surprised me most about our conversation is that instead of pushing me to book a day she told me that since spring time tends to be busy for moving companies I should book my reservation sooner than later, regardless if I choose to go with 485 movers or another mover. You could just hear she cared that I have a successful move regardless of how I choose to go about it and that really won me over. I was planning on doing further research but after this conversation I will be calling back to schedule my move as soon as things are set with my closing. I expect no less of the movers they send as well.

I moved from New York and this moving company helped me unload my truck. Even though the packing was done by my friends and I so it wasnt the best they handled unpacking in a very organized and professional manner. Polite and friendly men. before booking with them I called around to a few other Charlotte moving companies and this one is the cheapest too.

By far some of the best movers Ive worked with. Moving can sometimes be unpredictable and in my case there was a delay with closing on our new house so we had to make some last minute changes. Oleg and his team handled the new circumstances effortlessly, they immediately came up with a new plan that did not waste any money or time. They totally saved us! We had a move scheduled with All My Sons and they cancelled on us ONE day before our move. I called so many companies that night but only one picked up, these awesome guys. They were able to pull together an emergency crew that came out to help us the next day and it was such a great experience I cant imagine all my sons wouldve done as well.

My move was pretty rushed because my apartment needed to make emergency repairs so I had to move on a very short notice. I know that can be a problem because moving companies are usually booked up weeks in advance. A logistics manager from this moving company worked with me to accommodate my short notice move and it worked out really well. I was concerned that I needed 3 movers but my budget was tight, but she assured me 2 movers with proper equipment will get it done. Everything went super smoothly from there. Some helpful, but most importantly strong guys came to help me out. 2 of them moved some things that previous moving company required 3 men to move. The best moving company in Charlotte! I’ve used three other companies before for moving services and no other one company (big name or small business) could compare. Let me begin with saying that their guys are very fast. I got a three person crew and they were very organized. Two of them carried large furniture pieces while the third person carried the smaller stuff which made the whole process very time efficient. These guys took care of our move in less time than what the ballpark estimate was. Under promised and over delivered!!! Not often do you come across that in today’s business practices. They are also open 24/7, truly 24/7. I had to call them with an urgent question on a Saturday evening at 9 pm and my call was answered on the second ring by a very pleasant dispatcher named Alex. An all around wonderful experience with this company. They’ve earned a lifelong customer who will always recommend them!

We used 485 movers twice in 4 months for a full house move (with an apartment in the interim). The workers were very hard working, even in the August heat! The only criticism is that I asked several times for my husband’s motorcycle to not be moved to make room for some larger items to be stored in the garage...and the motorcycle was moved more than once. No damage was made to the bike, but it was still just a bit nerve-racking.They kept us informed (there was an uncontrollable delay on moving day and we were informed immediately), checked in with us throughout the move, and were kind employees. We recommend 485 Movers and would use them again if we were to ever move again (and we aren’t...we decided we are staying here forever...!).

I am so glad I found these guys! From the very beginning it was nothing but a great experience. My father had to move out of his old house quickly because of some unforeseen circumstances and I had to find movers the same day of moving day. I lost all hope because everyone was booked up, but then I got to talking to a really sweet dispatcher named Alex. At first there weren’t any movers available but she really seemed to have gone out of her way to accommodate us and was able to find us two guys for help. They got there in a matter of an hour and got right to it. They worked very carefully to not damage anything but also with a sense of urgency which anyone who’s paying hourly can appreciate. Considering it was a same day move, the bill came out lower than expected. Very good moving company, will definitely recommend to all friends and family!

I wanted to thank 485 Movers for making our move so much easier than it could have been!!!! The 3 guys who came to our home treated our belongings with care, and were fast and efficient. It was predicted to be a faster move than it turned out to be, but they never faltered, never complained, never stopped for a break or a meal, until after one truckload was completed. Then when they tried to hook up the washer/dryer, there were problems at the new house, which they offered to fix for us! The owner showed up on 2 occasions to check in on the move, and was the one who returned after we were in to work on our washer/dryer until he was sure they worked for us! Thank you guys!
